"Yeah, it was a long time ago." She said remembering it well. "Your friend Sam went with Leah didn't he? And you and Rebecca. You had that group photo, and everyone looked go happy." She had meet Leah since coming back, she was bitter and mean now. It was hard to think the girl had fallen so far. Rachael felt bad for her. It was sad really. "I think that is the one Dad has up. The big group photo." The one next to it, was Rachael's Prom photo. [/blockquote] ((Icons not of my own making. Credit goes to 'Leah' of MP.))

Well that would be an awkward picture. "Yeah, he did. But a lot has changed since then," he said. A lot of drastic things have changed . . . mainly, the wolf thing. Imprinting. That had changed everyone's life, and now it had changed Paul's. "Most of is are pretty happy now I guess." Sam and Emily were, Paul was happy that he had found the woman that he would forever love. The only one who got the raw end of the deal was Leah . . . and speaking of which, "Have you seen Leah since you've been back?" If she hadn't, Paul was not going to recommend it. She was different, even Paul knew that. He would get in arguments with her, and that was only when he saw her . . . they tended to avoid each other. It was a good thing he hadn't dated her too.

"Oh," Leah. "Yes." Rachael said as she looked down and blushed again. This time in embrassed anger. The run in with Leah had not been pleasant. It had rather ruined her day and being she had only been home a day at the time, it rather annoyed her still. She felt bad for Leah, for her being so un happy. "Are you still friends with her?" Rachael asked, trying to keep the conversation going more then wondering about Leah's life now. She hoped Leah found a way to be happy but Rachael Black was on a date with Paul Moran and she wasn't going to spend it talking about a girl who seemed to hate everyone. "Define friends," Paul said smirking. Him and Leah were far from friends; they constantly annoyed each other. Then again, they both tended to annoy everyone -- in different ways of course -- so they made a bad combination. Ever since she had joined the pack, a shocking event on its own, he had not been able to stay away from her, so they clashed way more than he would have liked. "We were only sorta friends before cause of Sam, but now . . . she just tags along with us." He would make it sound like she chose to hang out with them, rather than explain that it was inevitable.

"It's hard to imange Leah tagging along with anyone. She always seemed the type to be one of leaders of the group rather then a follower. She used to like bossing everyone around. She was so happy in high school." Happy but still sort of mean at times. She had not cared beyond her own self mostly. There had been a few times Leah had been nice to her but Rachael assumed it was more because of Rebecca then any feelings on Leah's part. Still, when Leah had been in a good mood she could put everyone around her in a good mood, and when she was in a bad . . . . you got out of her way. "You used to be friends with her." Paul couldn't help but laugh. "Well she isn't happy no more." He couldn't bash her too much, not on his first date with Rachael. "She's just bitter, and makes it really obvious. Ray, she isn't the easier person to get along with and honestly, I wouldn't bother trying. She's not that same smiley girl you saw in high school. She's more like . . . a bitter old woman now." Paul would show more compassion if him and Leah hadn't butt heads so much, and if he wasn't always the one getting it from Sam to be nicer to her. His guilt was always on his conscience. "Used to; past tense. Not so much anymore. We all just feel sorry for her. Its a pity thing more than anything else."
