Unneeded Human Skills

Aro was young only a child and he wanted to learn everything. He looked up to his father and wanted to everything like him. What child did not? His father and even his grandfather could make figures from wood. Toys sometimes that Aro and even his sister, Didyme, would play with. They were children innocent and not knowing what the world bring them. His father had been the one to teach him at a young age. His first figure out been an owl though it didn't look right. His father had been proud and praised how well it was. Though he could hear his sister's laughter not to far off. It wasn't the best, but it was a skill his father had and he wanted to learn. He tried everyday wanting to be as good as his father.

Aro's father would help him learn how to whittle better. 'The piece of wood will speak to you that the piece already exists, imprisoned deep within the wood. It's your job to let it out.' To whittle will also help clear you mind, meditative. Something Aro would often need to do when he was older. He had plans that he told no one. He was going to gain control of the village. Even if that mean killing the current leader he would do it. Anything to gain his power. At times he needed to clear his mind he would get to deep in thought and not able to focus on his work. Work that had to be done. He was not the leader yet he still had work and his father was growing old and weaker. He was the strong young man who could do much more. And he would do more than anyone else. He would gain complete control.

Aro was human nearly three thousand years ago. Human memories do fade, but their are a few that do not. Talents that humans have are never needed, but one can remember. Much better and faster than humans as well. Many talents or needs for humans have changed over the centuries. Change was common for humans, but not for vampires. Change was rare if it came at all for vampires. They were to stay the same for the rest of eternity never changing, but the world around them does. Aro has always wanted power there was nothing he wanted more not even is wife, Sulpicia. There were talents or skills Aro had that would only be useful to humans. He didn't pay any attention to the skills he has. Why should he worry about some human skill? He never focused on his human life not wanting to think about it. His only focus was how to gain more power how to have complete control.
