In honnor of that crazy prody book on Amazon dot come, we are asking you to sort of make your own. Your challenge is to write a post about what the book(books) would have been about should the S. Challenge Twelve: Twilite The Life of Aro
The Start of Power
01. Innocent
Aro's childhood. Being an older brother. Being a normal kid getting in trouble. A simple life. 02. Family
Aro spends time with his grandparents. His grandfather is a whittler and makes a few things for Aro. Aro had seen his father do this once or twice, but never asked. He asks his grandfather to show him how he does it. 03. First Glimpse
Aro while young watches the leader of the village. Plans begin to form. His first want for power. 04. Observing Others
Aro watches the warriors in his village. See's their weakness. He even tries to get to know them. He knows more than he lets one. Who he can trust, who has betrayed before. 05. The First Hunt
Aro is of age to help in the hunt. Learning to track animals. Learning how to use weapons. 07. Father/Son
Aro learns a few things from his father. What makes a boy a man. 08. Accidents Happen
During a hunt a young man gets killed. Aro could have prevented his death, but why would he? Cutting out competition is the first step to gaining power. 09. Sister's Worry
Didyme becomes concern for her brother. With the recent events and deaths in the hunt. He assures her he is capable of taking care of himself. 10. Trust is the Key
Aro starts watching the chief more. Gains the trust of those who are close to him. Trust is everything 11. The Chief
As Aro gains the chiefs closest friends trust so does he gain the chief. He begins to talk with him. 12. Interrogations
Aro begins to learn about the chief's weakness and strength. It's only a matter of time this he is sure of. 13. Strategy
Aro plans on how to defeat the chief. Aro is not he strongest in the tribe, but is certain he is the most intelligent and knowledgeable. Defeating the chief in a fight, or even killing him would allow him to gain what he wanted. 14. A Fight to the Death
Aro challenge's the chief. The shock of what happens afterward. Betrayal is something that is known. Aro had gotten close only to take what was the chief's. He accepts the challenge it starts at dawn. 15. Family Matters
Didyme is surprised by the turn of events. Aro had been tricking everyone all along. No one will follow him. So Didyme says. Aro will not allow anyone to talk about nor betray him once he is in control. He will not be weak. 16. The Fight
The chief may indeed be stronger than Aro, but Aro uses his talents his knowledge. He knows exactly how to bring the chief down and succeeds. 17. The Start of Power
Aro is in control. Aro is the chief of the village. Aro gets rid of the weak. He chooses new warriors and those who will be close to him. Only those he is certain he can trust and only those that have something of use. 18. More is Needed
Aro is not satisfied with just this village. He wants more control. If he's going to be leader why not get more? Gain as much as he can? 19. Gaining Others
Aro attacks other villages takes control of more land. More villages. He will be unstoppable. 20. A Sister's Plea
Didyme tells her brother to stop. He is being selfish he needs to stop before someone kills him. She is worried for her brothers' well being. He doesn't listen.
More Than Expected
01. Hunting
Aro is out with his most trusted warriors hunting. They spend the night in the woods. 02. Unfamiliar Creature
Aro comes face to face with a vampire. Unknowingly. His warriors hear his cries as the vampire feeds. The vampire runs leaving Aro still alive. He is taken back to the village. 03. Fire, Pain
Aro begs for death. He can hear the voices around him even make some sense of the words. The fire in his body makes it difficult. He did hear his sister and the others tell her to leave. It's for the best. Unknowing how true that was. 04. Blood-Thirst
Aro awakes to his new life. He is faced with a burning in his throat. Without thinking grabs the doctor who had been taking care of him for three days. His first meal as a newborn vampire. He kills a few more before fleeing the village. 05. Realization
Aro walks near a stream and see's his reflection. His ruby red eyes staring back at him. The truth of what he is. Vrykolakas, kathakano, a blood-drinker, a vampire. 07. Power is Gone
Aro stays away from his village, the land he had once conquered. He is a monster. He is not a leader. He has nothing. He is meant to kill. 08. Talents, How Grand!
As Aro feeds he starts to realize his power. His talent. He can know every thought a person has ever had. He has not come across his own kind yet, but is curious. Does it work on them as well? Is this part of being a vampire? 09. Enjoying Life
Aro begins to love his life as a vampire. His human life was weak compared to this new life. He is far grander than any human will ever be. 10. There Are Others
Aro meets two vampires. Marcus and Caius. They have not been vampires for long. And know of some in Romania. The leaders of their world. 11. Interest
Aro is curious about these vampires. He questions them if he can join them. Perhaps even meet these vampires. 12. Leaders of the Vampire World
Aro meets Stefan and Vladimir. Learns a bit more about vampires and who the Romanians exactly are. 13. Suggestion
Aro thinks about the Romanians. About their power. They have exactly what he craves. Aro asks Marcus and Caius to join him. Begin a formation of a coven. He has plans and they will rise if they stay with him. 14. Finding Talents
Aro returns to his village. How many years have gone by he is unsure. He is after one person and one person only. Didyme. 15. Sister
Aro changes his sister. She is shocked to seem him changed, perfect to humans, but still alive. She is overjoyed unknowing her human life is about to end. 16. Anger
Didyme is angry with her brother for what he is done. But at the same time overjoyed to be with him one more she had missed him so. Aro feels happy, but is uncertain why. Perhaps he missed his sister more than he thought. 17. Mates Found
Aro finds that Didyme does have a talent to make others happy. It isn't what he expected, but will use it to his advantage. Marcus quickly falls for Didyme, as Didyme falls for him. 18. The Real Challenge
Now that Aro has a start of his coven he begins talking the Romanians even living with them for some time. Gaining their trust. 19. Plans
Aro begins to plan with his brothers (Marcus and Caius) they agree to leave for some time. It's safest if they want to discuss privately. The Romanians request they return their visit has been most interesting. Aro assures them they will and perhaps bring a few 'friends.' 20. England
The Volturi make their way to England. Far away from the Romanians. Even from their home in Italy. They need to be away and think. Plan.
Complete Control
01. Pathetic
Aro is aware of how a few of the vampires in London, England live. He would never resort to such. He is still power-hungry and will take control of the Romanians. 02. Unexplained Action
Aro had never seen any like this women. He wanted her, forever. It made no sense and he did it without thinking. He changed this girl. He was able to read her thoughts know everything about her. And watched her for three long days. 03. Opinions
Caius disapproves of him changing this girl saying he's crazy. Didyme is so happy for her brother seeing the sudden change. He is in love. Marcus could care less his attention is on Didyme as always. 04. Adjustment
Sulpicia wakes as a newborn vampire. Aro is pleased with how she reacts. How she seems to feel exactly the same way as him. 05. The Family
Sulpicia meets Aro's 'family.' Caius reaction angers Aro, but he calms down because, and only because, of Sulpicia. 07. Returning Home
They decide to leave England. Sulpicia's family must think she is dead. She can never return to them. Aro comforts Sulpicia. He cares for her deeply. Quickly notices the change. He never cares for anyone's feelings, but he does for Sulpicia. He does love her. 08. More Planning
Aro and his brothers discuss how to gain more power how they can possibly overthrow the Romanians. 09. The Guard
Aro seeks out talents as does his brothers. They must gain powerful talents, be stronger than the Romanians. During this time Caius finds and changes his mate, Athenodora. 10. The Strategy
Aro and his brothers explain what will happen in the next few days. Aro will know if there is weakness any betrayal with one touch. Something he will not tolerate. If they remain true and help him. The will be on top and never fall. 11. I Need Power
Sulpicia confronts Aro about his plans. He wants power more than her. She is angry with him. Aro cannot concern himself with this he needs to focus on his plans. He will gain power at any cost. Even for love. 12. It is Time
The attack on the Romanians. Even if they are out numbered they are more powerful. And prove just that. They will be the leaders of the vampire world from now on. 13. Misery
Aro leaves Stefan and Vladimir alive. They kill everyone in the their coven and destroy their castle. They have nothing left. They are to watch how successful the Volturi will be. And How much more powerful they will become. 14. The New Leaders
Aro, Marcus, Caius are the new leaders of the Vampire World who reside in Volterra, Italy. They set one law, one rule that must be followed: Keep the Secret. Any who do not will be destroyed immediately. 15. Lessons Learned
Vampires quickly learn the Volturi are serious. Several are destroyed. Aro also seeks more talents. 16. Do You Love Me?
Sulpicia talks to Aro about their relationship. If he still love her. Aro does love Sulpicia more than anyone else, but he needs power. No matter what he will always want power, but will always love Sulpicia as well. It will take time for this adjustment. 17. Twins
Aro is interested in two twins. They have talents even as weak humans. He keeps a close watch on them. 18. Destroy the Village
Aro is forced to change the twins early. The town thinks they are witches. Aro orders the village to be destroyed. 19. Most Valuable Guard Members
Jane and Alec quickly become Aro's favorite talents. He also seeks a few more talents that will be of use to him. 20. Problems
Problems within the Vampire Word are made know to the Volturi. Aro will have to solve this quickly along with his brothers.
Changes for the Vampires
01. Children
Aro is made aware of the Immortal Children. They must be destroyed. 02. Fights
Aro is forced to destroy covens because of one child. Needless, but must be done. 03. Forbidden
The Volturi make Immortal Children forbidden. Any caught are destroyed. 04. Leaving?
Aro finds out that Marcus and Didyme are planning on leaving. He acts happy about it, but won't allow this. He will find away around this he will not lose any of his power. 05. I Am Sorry
Aro kills his sister. He loves her he really does, but he cannot allow Marcus to leave him. He will never allow it. No one will know what he has done ever. 07. Blame
Aro blames one of the guard for Didyme's death. It is the only option and who would ever doubt his word? He acts to read his thoughts and discover the truth. He is destroyed by Marcus. 08. Comfort
Sulpicia had been close to Didyme Aro comforts her. And she comforts him knowing it was his last blood related family. Even if he doesn't want it. He does not want to appear weak, but is sad for his sister. He did love her, but did what he must to ensure he kept his power. He had no other option. Not that Sulpicia would ever find this out. Lied to just like the rest. 09. Business as Usual
The Volturi return to their work. Destroying those who break the rules and Aro makes time to spend time with his wife. 10. Newborns?
News of Newborn Armies is taken notice to the Volturi. Aro, his brothers, and a few guard go to the South. 11. Maria
Aro meets a young vampire named Maria. She is innocent of the Newborn Armies, but has thought of it. Aro makes his warning clear and his promises will turn into threats if needed. 12. Benito
The Volturi destroys Benito. He created the idea of Newborn Armies. This is a warning for any who try to do this. The Volturi return to Italy. 13. Return to the South
Yet again news of the Newborn Armies must be stopped they return to the South. Destroying armies and their creators. If this is to happen again they will destroy every vampire in the South. 14. Haven't We Met Before
Aro runs across Maria yet again, but she has a new 'friend' Jasper. He questions her and tries to read her thoughts. He begins to feel calm no need to rush. Maria tells him of another army not to far off. He leaves Maria without reading her thoughts. 15. Peace
The Newborn Armies are stopped completely. For several years there is no uproar that is cause for the Volturi leaders. The occasion vampires does cause problem in which Aro sends a few guard members to take care of the problem. 16. Balance
Aro is always planning on how he can gain more power. What talents he wants. What possibilities he could come up with. At the same time he makes time for Sulpicia as she requests. He wants to make her happy. And tries to balance the two. 17. Visitor
Carlisle Cullen makes his way to the Volturi. Aro welcomes him and invites him to stay for some time. 18. Animal Blood?
Aro is surprised by Carlisle's choice of diet. The blood of animal does not sound nor does it smell appealing. 19. Taming is Unsuccessful
Aro tries to tame an Immortal Child. He is unsuccessful. He was certain they could be tamed, but alas they cannot. 20. Farewell My Friend
Carlisle Cullen leaves the Volturi. He had spent a decade with them. Learning from them as they learned from him. Particularly Aro and trying to persuade each other to their diet of choice.
