[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Look:. Paul is of native descent so his skin is tanned, and his eyes are dark brown. He has black hair that he keeps short which he styles in various ways. His face his narrow, and he has a piercing in each ear. He has a tattoo on his upper arm, just like the other members of the pack he belongs to. Like the other wolves, his very large: tall in height and broad in muscles. He often has a smirk on his face, or a look that is just calling someone to come and challenge him.
His style of dress is very casual. He is often dressed in jeans (usually containing a rip at the knee) and a t-shirt with a leather jacket on top. This is what he wears when his upper body is actually dressed. Paul’s gait is confident, and his demeanour may appear as cocky to some . . . which he certainly can be at times.
Paul in his wolf form is five times his human size. He has dark silver fur, which is not too long because of his short hair.

[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Basic Personality:. Paul is a sarcastic, aggressive, arrogant individual. He has the general ‘bad boy’ persona, and he knows it. He gets angry very easily and when he does, it is very difficult to calm him down. This causes him to phase rather frequently, though he is getting slightly better at controlling his phasing, since it is not something he can do in front of everyone. In his pre-phasing days, he still had quite a temper. The way he dealt with it then was violent and physical aggression. Little has changed. His anger management issues gave him a rebellious childhood, and made him get into a lot of fights. He mouths off a lot and taunts people, encouraging fights but is not afraid to throw the first punch. Because of his large size, he is also rather confident when he does engage in them and it does not take a lot for someone to make him snap. Perhaps the only thing – or the only person – who can calm him down the best is Rachael Black, the woman he imprinted on.
While Paul has this side to him, he also has a lighter, goofier side. He does have a sense of humor and though it may be a sarcastic one, and one that is encouraged by irritating others, it is still there. Those who know him, know what can set him off so sometimes it is just better to let him act in the juvenile ways that he does instead of try to change his mood to a more negative one. He is stubborn and very impulsive. He acts before he thinks which has also landed him in trouble on more than one occasion. He is always ready for a fight, never risking the opportunity to walk away from one. He takes life as it comes, not worried about the consequences of his actions, which goes back to the fact that he is not one to think before he acts. He has few regrets for he usually thinks he is right and/or justified in what he does.
Being the Beta of Sam’s pack, Paul displays some leadership skills. However, he is still extremely loyal to his pack and to Sam. He listens to him when a command is given, and Sam is one of the few people that Paul does not clash with. He has a great respect for his friend, and is perhaps closest to Sam and Jared, since they were the ones who was already in the pack when Paul first phased. Because he has imprinted on Rachel, he is very protective over her and tends to be more mellow . . . sometimes . . . when he is around her. She is the only person he expresses such intimate emotional affection to, since he is not one to talk about his feelings with his fellow pack members.

• Born To Be Wild •
Paul was born into a small family in La Push where he was raised and lived his whole life. His family consisted of just him, his mother and father. Because he was an only child, his parents tended to show an indulgent style of parenting. They gave him enough attention and affection, but did not set limits and ground rules for him. Because of this, he was a very free spirit. He did what he wanted, when he wanted, whenever he wanted. This was the beginning of what would prove to be a mistake. Since Paul had no siblings, he was not used to sharing, and he was certainly not used to not getting his own way. This began to lead to a bit of arrogance as he often mouthed off and teased other people, egging them on and encouraging physical fights. He soon became someone who could not tolerate it himself. He had a ‘tough guy’ persona and due to this, his temper was short and when he snapped, he lashed out against whoever made him angry. He acted irrational and did not think before he acted. This was how Paul remained for the rest of his life.
When he was eight, his parent's divorced. His mother moved away while his father remained in La Pussh, gaining full custody of Paul. As Paul never leaves La Push, he hardly sees his mother. This only left Paul even more volatile in his behavior as he did not have the maternal influence a mother would have provided him with. He is extremely close to his dad, but with his father's work, Paul does not see him too often. Paul never got better, his anger management problems just increased. His carefree outlook on life also caused him to be less motivated and while he did not fail school, his grades did not show he was a very bright student, quite the opposite in fact.
• Heat Of The Moment •
Paul’s life remained consistent until he hit the age of sixteen. There was an incident where he was particularly angry and instead of just lashing out, he felt his body transform. It was the first, and he determined to make it the only, fight that he had ever run away from. He ran deep into the woods and next thing he knew, his entire body had changed to that of a wolf. Luckily, Sam was patrolling and managed to calm him down and explain things to him. Past the shock and unexpectedness of such an event taking place, Paul embraced who he was meant to become: a protector of La Push.
He was glad to join the pack because it gave him a sense of purpose and allowed him to put his ‘skills’ to use. Becoming a wolf did not calm him down any, but he was able to sometimes find alternative ways to avoid physical aggressive confrontation, since he had to be careful who he phased in front of. He still has the same personality as always, and he still fights far more than he should, but patrolling and protecting La Push distracts him from simply living a rebellious life.
• True Colours •
Imprinting is something that happens to most wolves, and this did not pass Paul. He had known the woman he imprinted on his whole life, for she was Jacob Black`s sister. Paul had paid not particular attention to her. He was not interested in a committed relationship and so would just pass her, not without notice, but would not display any interest in a relationship. That is, until one day when he was on the beach and he saw her standing there. At that moment, Paul knew what happened and though he could not believe it, he did not try to fight or deny it. He knew he loved her, and wanted to spend every moment with her.
This was easier said than done. Since Rachael is away for college, Paul does not get to see her as often as he likes. When she is here, he spends as much time with her as he can, but when she is away, he becomes even more agitated than normal and more on edge. Since he is relatively calm around her, not wanting to risk hurting her, that calmness leaves him when she leaves La Push and the angrier, more violent side of Paul continues to unleash itself.
• Me & My Crazy World •
Currently, Paul is still in La Push. He is working in Singers Salvage Yard, and is also working in construction. When he is not working, he is at the Black`s resident as it has become his second home . . . perhaps more so his first. He is completely devoted to his duties as a Protector of La Push, but is also devoted to the woman he has imprinted on. He has gained better control of his temper, especially since Rachael had moved back home after she was done college. While he still has anger problems, he has matured since then . . . sort of.
