---Rosalie Hale loved weddings. Granted, she wished (and had even pleaded to Bella) to reconsider this. (Not the marrying Edward part, but to stay human) However; she was glad that Bella seemed to allow her to be part of the wedding. It would have broken Rosalie's heart show the events of the past had caused Bella to not allow her to join.
---The wedding had been beautiful. Rosalie had played the piano, and everything had been perfect. Old fashioned and new aged at the same time. It had held the look and feel of a wedding from Edward (and even Rosalie's) time. Yet there had been something that made it special and new. A perfect blend of Bella and Edward.
---Rosalie walked around the outdoor party and was helping make sure all the 'guest' behave the selves, when she saw Kate not far from her. Rosalie was speaking in a low voice to a human but she knew Kate could hear her. Still, Rosalie wasn't sure if she was going to say hello to Kate or not. They had refused to come to the Cullen's aid not long ago. Why had they come to the wedding and party?

Kate's Dress
Kate had been over with the rest of the family when she caught eye of Rose. Oh god! She knew that look. She just knew what Rose was thinking. She knew Rose, and she knew Rose was not at all happy with her, or her family. Kate quickly lowered her head, not able to look at Rose much longer! Oh god, she wanted to come to the Cullen's aid, she wanted to help! She really did, but she had to stick with her family, that's what family's do they stick together! She could not just leave her family and help the Cullen's for she would surly not have been aloud to rejoin, then she would be alone once more. That she hated most of all, being alone. With a heavy sigh, she turned away from her family, she could not let this go on any further. She had to talk to each and every one of the Cullen's. She had to make it right, even if her family did not. She had to fix it. She had to get her extended family back, she just hate to! So with guilt written all over her face, Kate made her way over to the Rose and some human. Kate smiled just a little, her head still down a bit. "Rosalie!" She said after a small nod towards the human. "May we talk." Kate asked, looking back to the human, telling him it was his time to leave. She needed to talk to Rose, and she needed to do it now! ---Rosalie watched Kate for a moment, before giving a nod of her head. It was a regal move, one meant to keep walls between them. Rosalie was good at being the cold distant one. Part of her even liked how she appeared when she had the touch-me-not-for-I-have-thorns, look about her.
---"Hello, Kate." Rosalie said, out of all their Alaskan family members, Kate was who Rosalie had liked best. They had the same ideas about some things. Rosalie and Kate had gotten along well. Rosalie however, had never went 'man hunting' as she had all she would want in Emmett. "Your looking well."
---It was said for the humans around them, as it appeared normal until they could move away and speak more openly. However Rosalie knew all vampires looked well. As much as she was friends with Kate, them not coming to the Cullen's aid a hurt.

"Thank you." Katrina said with a small smile. "As are you!" Kate said looking again at the humans around them. Though they were alone, some of the humans were still in hearing range, so she would have to keep her voice down. Kate nodded her head a little. "Look Rose. I'm not one to beat around the bush. Look, im sorry, deeply sorry!" Kate said in a hushed whisper. "What my family did was wrong, and if I were you I would never talk to me again!" Kate said again in a hushed whisper, though she tried to keep her face happy, this was a wedding after all. "But I beg of you to forgive me. I'll do anything Rose. Really I will! I feel horrible, just terrible. Just...." Kate said shaking her head, trying to stress how horrible sorry she was, though she could not show it physically. She had to act happy for Bella and Edward. ---Rosalie was the worse Cullen to apologize to. Unlike the others who tended to have a more optimistic nature, Rosalie was the type to hold a grudge and fear the worst. Still it was a wedding, and Rosalie wasn't going to hiss and have a fit. "I don't understand how you couldn't come." She said in a whisper, keeping her smile on her face. "I know she was your sister, but we were family too." Rosalie but some of the blame on Edward, as well. And in some smaller part, on her self and the others. If they had just wiped the whole coven out, James, his mate and . . . "How is your sister?" She asked, knowing Irina wasn't there.

"You know I don't know the answer to that. I ask myself everyday...." Katrina said with a sigh. "I keep going over it in my head, and it just seemed like the right thing at the time. I just I dunno. I guess I never thought of it as ditching you guys, and almost getting some of you killed... I just saw it as..." Kate continued trying her very best to tell Rose how she saw it at the time. "As... family loyalty... Irina has been my sister, longer then you have been my extended family. So I guess... I felt, she came first. Though I know this is not the case now." Kate said her head kept low, ashamed of herself and her sisters. "I just. I don't know. I am a fool!" Kate said with a sigh. What could she say? Shit happens? "Irina is well. Mad that we would come to the wedding, but she will get over it!" Kate said. "I would much rather her hate me for the next few years, then have you and your family never speak with me again." Kate added looking up at Rose, hoping so very much that Rose could find it in her heart to forgive her. Kate was REALLY trying here! ---Rosalie understood loyalty. She her self was very loyal to the Cullens, as well as her husband. She wondered what she would do if the events had been different, and it had been Jasper killed and Alice didn't want the family to go? It might have been different, but one never knew.
---Still no one had been killed. Only one dog hurt and Rosalie didn't feel bad for that. They were not her family. Rosalie gave a soft shrug to Kate, "Your here now." Rosalie still was displeased about the past, but wasn't going to let it ruin the wedding. She was willing to bet all ties with Irina were gone now. She may be 'family' but after this it was going to take years to get over the hurt. More then years. Bella was family now, and Rosalie wouldn't allow others to hurt her. It had taken her a while to there, and she was still, hoping Bella staid human, but family was family. "Have you meet our Bella, yet?" She asked, trying to mend bridges. "Her and Alice have become quite the best of friends."

"Thank you Rose!" Katrina whispered, though she knew Rose could hear her loud and clear. Well looked like they were family again, maybe not friends but family. "I have not met the lovely Bella yet." Katrina said with a soft smile. "I am just so glad Edward found someone, it's about time right!" Kate said reaching out and lightly touching Rose on the shoulder, her movement slow, to make sure Rose knew what she wanted to do. Katrina just wanted all that crap behind them, just be cool again. "I'm just so happy for you. All the Cullen's are matched. Let's hope it's our turn next!" Katrina said. She had been alive as long if not longer then Dr. Cullen. So she knew how it felt to not have a mate. She knew how much it hurt Edward to be alone, and he knew how her sister tried to help him. Though he wanted nothing of it. Katrina let her hand fall of Rose's shoulder. "It's about time my family get's a little love right?! You Cullen's have all the luck... it must be little Alice." She joked a little. Though she really did hope her family found some love soon. The three sisters needed some men, and quick, there was only so much girl crap one can take. "Oh and I bet they are.
