.:Look:.Coal black hair frames Corin’s pale vampire face. His eyes are a blood red when satisfied and a deep black when thirsty. He is mostly expressionless, a feat perfected with the years belonging to the Volturi. The only time he expresses his emotions on his face is when he is draining blood of his victim, then, he is triumphant. His face is cold and hard as stone and his eyebrows are as fine as a pencil line. His nose is slightly on the pointy side. However, the unexplainable beauty of the vampires rescues him from being even the slightest bit out of proportion.
His regular dress, like all of the Volturi, is a grey cloak. It is nowhere near the deep grey of the twins but is a sturdy colour that features him as at least a little important. His face contrasts starkly with his cloak, a design that Aro must have thought of when he outfitted his guard with the dark clothes.
.:Height:.5 ft 8.

.:Basic Personality:. Corin is slightly predictable for a Volturi guard. He is serious and focused, his bonds to the Volturi are strong because of Chelsea and they make him want to work hard and please them. He has the humorous side that one rarely notices in the Volturi, they appear flawless and untouchable to the outside world. What makes him different to the rest of them is that he has a more friendly side and tries to talk and laugh with everybody.
If he was human, he would have had a much better life than the one he now leads. He feels no regret for his old, weak, human body, even though its world was friendlier to him. He doesn’t believe in living in the past. This particular trait helps him a lot.

.:Species:. Vampire
.:Special Skills:. (Unconfirmed by Stephanie Meyer, officially unknown so far) Ability to cut away singular emotions.
Corin can remove a strong emotion from a vampire or human. He can only cut away one at a time, which makes the ability useless if the person is feeling lots of things at once. When your emotion is cut away it's like it has all gone from you and you wonder why you were ever sad/mad/violent. It usually works best with one strong emotion in the body, such as violence or guilt.
.:Transportation:. Running is his main form of transport. He doesn’t have time for human vehicles.

.:History:. Corin was born in early times, to a poor couple with no credibility or honour. Being resented by your own parents for stretching their lifestyles to the very limit really isn’t the best upbringing a boy could have. Finally, at fourteen (after numerous dropped hints from his mother and dark looks from his father), Corin ran away to do what so many youths did, make their fortunes. He escaped past the borders into Italy.
He found very little of what he was expecting there. It was a rough time for him, he found himself getting by as his parents did, thieving and pick-pocketing. He hated it more and more every day and decided to get work and live respectively. It took a surprisingly short time to refer himself to the right people; something about him removed doubt from people’s minds. He climbed his way up the social ladder.
It all ended when a strange dark haired, pale faced individual came across the town. He seemed to be looking for something or someone. Every now and then he would look at somebody and appear to be concentrating on them. Soon the man drew a path through crowds when people scattered to avoid him. All too soon, the man was looking and staring at Corin. Corin didn’t like at all. Then the man took Corin away.
Corin hadn’t been expecting it. The way the man grabbed him and ran like the wind, faster than the wind. For the first time Corin had noticed how cold and hard his skin was. They were in the forest outside the town for nearly an hour until the man stopped and laid Corin down. By now, Corin was beyond shock, he had just stopped caring about everything. Then they were joined by some girl. She could’ve only been in her teens, but her skin was as pale and her eyes were as red as the man’s were now. The man’s mouth came down to Corin’s throat and brushed against his neck, where the pulse beat frantically.
The burning had been immense, the sheer pain and heat would have been enough to turn any one of his people into ash. Indeed, that was what Corin felt like most of the way through his vampire turning. When he woke up, he was incredibly shocked and surprised (as most newborns are) at the way everything was so crystal clear. Suddenly, he could see! Everything was more clarified, differences were that much less subtle. Then he saw the man and girl.
They introduced themselves as Eleazer and Jane, they explained what he was. Corin didn’t doubt it, his new body was enough proof for him. Slowly, slowly, he got used to the life of a vampire. He was introduced to Aro, Marcus and Caius, he was trained to use his gift by Eleazer and he was given examples of what the others could do. He truly belonged to the vampire world. He was most touched by emotion at the loss of Eleazer in his second century of vampirism. For in the time of being a vampire, those two had truly become friends.
