SETTING: Seattle (Starting @ Cullens then moving to Seattle)
How did one get her self out of shopping? Leah had been been the shopping type (Still was) but shopping with leeches wasn't her idea of fun. Hell, if she had not unset Ness so much earlier in the week then she wouldn't have said yes to this. She would have laughed it off and annoy Seth or someone until a fight broke out and their mother (God-Bless Sue) grounded her.
Not hat grounding would keep Leah in, but when you needed an excuse, anyone would do!
Ness had found out earlier in the week that Leah had been apart of Sam's pack when the big attack was planned. The big one were the single pack of La Push was going to attack the Cullen's with the goal of killing Bella, and the child she carried. Leah and Ness had been cliff driving when Sam came across them and Leah had started her bitching which had made him toss her past in her face. Ness had over heard.
So here Leah was, sitting out side the Cullen's in her best normal clothing (which still looked poor next to the leeches) waiting for the shopping trip to Seattle to get under way. Glaceing up at the rising sun (which was VERY hard to see under this level of clouds and slight rain) Leah wondered how long before lunch?

Renesmee just could NOT wait for her little shopping trip with her mother and her aunts. Alice had trained Renesmee well, and it was about time she went shopping, Renesmee was running out of things to wear. Okay so that was not really true, but she had already worn just about everything in her closet, so she needed more clothing. Today was a girls day out, and Renesmee really just could not wait. Just her mother and her aunt's what more could she ask? Renesmee really needed this too. Not long ago she had found out that Leah, a girl she trusted so much, a girl she loved like family, had once tried to not only kill Renesmee, but her mother too. That fact alone hurt Renesmee greatly, and she has yet to forgive Leah for that one. Yeah it was the past but still. Renesmee needed some time to figure this out, she also wanted the full story, which she was planning on asking Seth and Jacob about it. But she has not gotten around to that just yet. Renesmee just happy as can be began to dance down the steep's, just like Alice. She was in a simple pair of jeans and a nice flashy shirt. Shopping. Renesmee was fully grown, and she filled out nicely. She looked more like Edward and Bella each and every day. Where was her family? She really had no idea, she figured they were outside or something. So she went to open the front door, and when she did she froze.
Leah.
Leah sat there on the top step, and Renesmee's mouth hung open a little. What the hell was Leah doing here? Renesmee made it clear that she did not want to see Leah EVER again. She had flipped out and ran away as soon as Sam split the beans. No no no. Leah was not here! Renesmee took a step back, and slammed the door, so hard it buckled under the weight a little, causing a crack in the door. She'd replace the door later. Renesmee turned from the door, and ran up stairs. She ran into her father's room. And just sat herself upon his sofa. she had her arms crossed, and just looked out the window, lost in her painful thoughts. She just felt so betrayed. So hurt by Leah. Truly, Leah was her only friend, only friend she was not related to... Then again, Leah was related to Jacob in a way, and Jacob was her everything, but still. Leah was truly her only friend apart from the Cullen's and extended family.
((Hope it's okay that Nessie is all mad at you...  I figured Bella could help Nessie get over it.  ))

Shopping how had Bella had gotten stuck into shopping. When she had been a human the last thing she wanted to do was go shopping. Now that she was a vampire she still didn’t want to shop. Yet there she was getting ready to go shopping. With Nessie and Leah…yes Leah. Leah the werewolf. What in the world had she been thinking of inviting her to tag along? Nessie and the wolf were friends…that was the reason why she had asked Leah to come with them.
Bella would try her best to be a good sport at shopping thought. For Nessie’s sake. She was just like Alice, she loved shopping a little bit too much. She hated to have to wear the same thing twice. She was just like Alice in this way. Bella could wear the same thing over and over again. Just like she was right now. She had on a pair of her favourite jeans and a t-shirt.
She finished brushing her hair and made her way downstairs to meet up with her daughter and Leah. She was right behind Nessie watching her small daughter dancing the same way she had so often seen Alice do it. She was such a vision this little girl. But when Nessie open the door, Bella could feel the air changing around them. What was wrong?
Suddently the door closed with a loud bang and nessie had ran into her father’s room. She figured she was better to leave a little bit of time for her daughter to be on her on and went outside. She stood in front of Leah. “what-did-you-do?” she accused the dark hair girl.

Leah could hear the almost silent feet coming closer to the door and was glad, the sooner they got this show on the road the sooner it would be over with. Leah loved shopping but shopping with awkward Bella would be painful. Leah knew Bella had opened some as a vampire, but Bella was still Bella in allot ways. Still someone Leah disliked. Jacob might have moved on, but Leah did have some magical imprinting crap to make it all better.
When Ness showed her face, then slammed the door and ran away, Leah almost followed her, to ask her understand, but Bella showed up. Knowing the leech was angry, normally would have pleased Leah but she was rather upset over the whole Ness thing too. Ness (despite the age differences) was one of her only real friends. One of the few who didn't see her as a bitter bitch, and enjoyed her darker humor. Ness never felt pitty for Leah either, which worked out, as Leah hated pity.
Leah's dark eyes meet Bella's golden one in a glare, "Nothing you don't already know about." Which was true. Leah wanted to offer to drag Ness back but Bella tended to be a bit literal, and might dislike Leah's sarcastic offer.

Renesmee had not noticed her mother standing right behind her, watching her. Which was not all to common, Renesmee usually knew just what was coming, knew who was around her. But she was a little distracted by her excitement of shopping, and then the whole Leah thing. Renesmee was still greatly upset over this. Upset over how Leah had wanted to kill her whole little family, it was more then a betrayal. It just hurt. Renesmee had loved Leah so much, but now she was unsure of her love for Leah. Was Leah only being nice to Renesmsee under Jacob's alpha orders? Was Leah only her friend because Jacob said so? Was Leah only using her family for food and such? Renesmee though Leah was such a good person, but now she had her doubts, and it upset the young women. Renesmee just curled up in a little ball, upon her Fathers black leather sofa, waiting, waiting for Leah or someone to try and come speak with her. But Renesmee did not want to be spoken to. Renesmee just wanted to be alone for a while, and think. Think about Leah. Renesmee just wanted to think it over, think over her many years with Leah. Just think of her and Leah's relationship now. Renesmee would oh course forgive Leah, but it would take a lot longer for Renesmee to get over this low blow.

From the look on the wolf face and the way her body was placed, Bella knew that Leah was thinking of following her inside. Bella placed her body right in front of Leah’s to block the way. There was no way she would let Leah walk inside before she got her answer. Then she would decide what she would do with the whole situation. She felt rage all over her body which was something she didn’t like. She tried to keep herself as calm as possible. She wanted to know the details before she decided to throw a fit or something. Beside the most important thing right now was Nessie.
when Leah said it was nothing she didn’t already knew about, Bella’s face dropped. “You told her?!?!?!” She gasp. There was many things running throuth her mind. Many mean things she wanted to say to Leah. But she as going to stop herself. The insults would have to wait. “Get inside and wait.” She told her harshly as she went back upstairs to follow Nessie. She knocked on the door softly before walking inside the room and closing the door behind her. she sat down next to Nessie. “I know you are upset baby. I’m too. But I think you might want to talk to Leah…” she started. She knew how important Leah’s friendship was to Nessie and it would hurt Nessie to loose such a good friend.
“I think Leah would want to explain to you why all of this happened.” She started. Hell Leah better be ready to explain to Nessie this situation. It was all of her doing. This pain was on Leah’s shoulder and Bella wouldn’t make anything better for Leah no. Leah would have to deal with the consequences of this.

Leah's glared deeped when Bella snapped at her. So Bella's next words made Leah's body shake with the natural wolf rage that came with being what she was. Did the leech just tell her to SIT and STAY?! Maybe not in so many words but the meaning was crystal clear! THAT BITCH!
Leah walked off the porch and stood in the yard for a few moments while she calmed her thoughts and her body. Leah was willing to bet that she could take Bella, but killing your best friend's mom was a good way to blacklisted from Christmas dinner.
Once she was calm(er) Leah walked into the house and followed Ness' scent (and Bella's Eww one) to some random room up in the top floors of the leech house. Hearing Bella's words just fine, Leah spoke right up. "Yeah, I can explain. I can explain just fine."
"Look, kid. I like ya, I like you a hell of lot, and oddly you've become one of my best friends. But I aint your parents, and I aint Jake. I'm not gonna lie or baby you or keep you from living life. You want to know the truth?! Fine! Yes, I was on the team that would have come here to kill you. I disapproved of the plan but mainly because of the risk we were taking."
"We didn't know what was going to come out, and it scared the hell out of us but I didn't have a choice either! Alpha control! Not every Alpha is Jake, some don't give us choices. I switched teams, to Jake's. Not for you, but for my own selfish reasons." Leah knew she could get this all over with, right now. Her eyes drifted to Bella's and there was a warning look in them.
Leah could let Ness hate her for this, and think Leah was the evil heartless one. Leah could in remaining silent let Ness keep her happiness with her family and keep the blame to one person. One betrayal.
Or Leah could tell Ness right here and right now that the wolves were not the first to want her dead. Her own father had planned to kill her long before the wolves even knew there was a child.
After a moment's stare down with Bella, Leah look back at Ness. "Mortal Enemies, Ness. Wolves and Vampires. We aren't supposed to be your friends. But we are, we had to over come that. I still have negative feelings to lee--vampires. But not to you. You know I would not hurt you. You know I'd die for you." There was a short pause. "Just has you know I don't applogize for the past. It's easy to see your mistakes when you look back. But then, in that moment I was protecting my pack, my brother. My mother. Just as now, I would protect you."
Leah had decided to lie, for now. Take the blame, but she wasn't going to let it at that. "One day, when you've gotten a better understanding of the world, and of how things works. If they don't tell you the whole story. I will. But not today." Leah shot another look at Bella, in a warning that they better tell her first then she turned and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her and slowly walking down the steps.
She didn't make it all the way, she sat down about half walk down them and wondered if her speech had made things worse, or helped make things better.

"But..." Renesmee said with a long sigh, and she shifted on the sofa, so her head was placed upon her mothers lap. "I don't want to talk to her!" Renesmee whinnied, but she did not get to finished for Leah just busted in the room. How rude! There was no knock no nothing. She just walked on in. Shoot. Renesmee would normally have said something but Leah went on talking. Renesmee was stuck, where she was. Stuck listening to Leah. There were no excuses. Leah had tried to kill her, and her mother. How could someone forgive her for that? Renesmee let out a sigh, taking hold of her mothers hand and pulling it slightly so she could hold her mothers arm, like a security blanket kind of deal. Renesmee closed her eyes as Leah talked. She was making a whole lot of sense and Renesmee hated that. Renesmee wanted to get mad, and hate Leah for the rest of her life, but she could do no such thing. Leah had a point, and Renesmee could see it from Leah's point of view. Renesmee was special, and no one knew what she would be. She was one of a kind. So she figured it made sense to want to kill the unknown. Renesmee let out a sigh as Leah walked out of the room, leaving Renesmee utterly confused. "The whole story?" Renesmee asked sitting up, utterly lost. So that's not it? It sounded like a warning, like Leah trying to kill her was nothing. Leah's issue with Renesmee back then was no big deal, it was all natural. Renesmee got up. Not waiting for her mothers answer, and walked out into the hall. Half way down the steps, there sat Leah. Renesmee sat next to Leah, putting a comforting hand upon Leah's shoulders. "It's okay." Renesmee said, letting her head rest lightly on Leah's shoulder. "I forgive you. And I'm sorry for over reacting." Renesmee said quietly softly. Knowing that the worst would come to her. So she better make admen with Leah now. She had a feeling she'd need Leah later.

Bella could feel Leah’s glare on her but she didn’t care no one was allowed to hurt her little girl that way without having to deal with the consequences. If there was person Bella would always protect no matter what it was Nessie. Bella always made sure that Nessie was safe before she made any other move. Like when the Volturi had came to take Nessie away. Bella had made sure her daughter was safe. And now even if Leah was not as a big of a threat as the Volturi had been, Nessie was hurting and that was mattered.
Bella couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Leah’s grand entrance. There had been a point where Bella had thought that Leah was simply a lonely girl but now she grew more and more on the brunette vampire’s nerves. But Bella decided to keep calm. There was no need to throw a fit. She would Leah explain things first. She pulled Nessie closer to her as if she was protecting her from words.
Bella looked at Leah with curious eyes wondering how the wolf girl was going to explain this whole situation. The facts were quite correct Bella had to give her this. But there was something in leah;s voice the way she used the Alpha control part almost to her advantage. Bella decided to shake it off. She might just give her the benefits of the doubt. And beside she knew that if Leah did anything to hurt Nessie Jake would have his say in this and it wouldn’t be pretty.
And beside Leah was only telling the wolves side of the story. She hadn’t told the part where Bella and Rosalie had to fight off the others as they wanted Nessie dead as well. Bella found some new found respect for Leah. Something she didn’t knew she could feel. But she could see that Leah really did care about Nessie. In a way she hadn’t known possible. Like a sister.
She knew what the look Leah was giving meant. She would tell Nessie the truth. Bella simply gave her a small nod. Eventually she would have to tell Nessie the whole story. One day. “Not today baby.” She said to Nessie but the little girl was already gone.

Leah felt her lips twitch and her heart melt when Ness came over to her and put her head on her shoulder. "You didn't. This time it was my bad. I should have bit into Sam for telling you about it like that, but end the end he was only telling you the truth. Everyone was so scared of you kid, we had heard horror stories about what you could be. We just wanted our families safe." Leah gave a sigh, "Now your part of that family now. Pack family, part vamp-part wolf girl."
Leah shoot a look over at Bella, knowing Bella had once been an almost wolf girl. Once in what felt like a forever ago, Bella had been Jake's girl. She had the protection of the pack. The whole pack. Then she went back tot he Cullens. "We take care of our own kid," Leah spoke while still watching Bella, knowing Bella knew how far the pack would go to protect one of their own. "Your Jake's girl, so your my girl in a way. Your also my friend. So, lets get this shopping trip on the move, and see how close to putting your Dad in debt as you can get." Leah joked looking away from Bella, down to Ness.

"No no no... It was all me Leah!" Renesmee said with a sigh. "I should have acted my age!" Renesmee said with a long sigh. What was her age? That was the question, but still. She let out a sigh as Leah spoke of everyone being so frighten of her. "Stories?" Renesmee said, but shook it off a little bit. "Yeah I guess I do?" Renesmee said moving on with her life. She let her self think of the good and forget the bad. "I bring enemies together!? Right?" Renesmee said with a bit of a giggle. Wolf, Vampire, together for her? Renesmee too watched her mother for a few moments, before looking to Leah. Renesmee never knew the whole story of her parents, of Jacob. She just knew that her mother and Jacob had some kind of strange history that no one would tell her about, which was fine with her. The less she knew she figured the better. "I love you too Leah!" Renesmee said with a small giggle, before kissing Leah on the cheek and jumping the rest of the steps, so she was standing at the bottom, looking up to her mother and her Best friend. "Mommy.... do you think that's even possible?" She asked with a giggle talking about the whole putting her father in debt thing. Not like Renesmee would try, but it was interesting to think about. Really interesting. She knew her family had money, but how much she was unsure. In fact she knew that she did not have to work a day in her life, and still have money to buy whatever she wanted.

Even if Bella was not with them at the moment she could clearly hear them. She felt that she could trust Leah with Nessie’s safety. If something ever happened to her or Edward she knew that Leah would be there for her little girl. This thought warm her and also scared her. she kept listening to Leah’s word and was feeling as if she was hearing a story she didn’t know. Hearing it from someone else was actually quite hard to deal with.
Specially when she came into view and she felt the stare of Leah piercing into her. There had been a point where Bella knew the pack would have had her back no matter. When SHE had been kind of Jake’s girl. This felt like centuries ago. She didn’t want to say anything as Nessie didn’t know about that. She sure hoped that Leah would never ever mention it to Nessie. This would destroy the young girl. And with reason of course. How can you deal when you hear that your mother kind of dated your boyfriend.
she laughed when she heard Leah mentioned they would try and put Edward in debt. She really doubt this would be possible. “Not a chance sweety, not that your aunt Alice has never tried.” With the way Alice shopped if it was possible for the Cullens to be in debt they would have been already. She walked down the stairs as well and ended out. “Then let’s go.” She said warmly.
