The shirt was the shirt of doom. That was what it was. It looked like the grid paper one used in Math class. Horrible.
It also smelled like vampire.
It was a plain button down shirt and it was all she was wearing and as approached the Cullen house. It was Jasper's shirt, and she didn't like wearing it but. . . . her clothes were gone now. It was six AM and Leah looked like she had been up a long while. Her hair messed up and she had fading bruises, and no shoes. . . . OH NO! Don't think of the shoes you ruined girl, or you'll phase again!

Jasper had never been drunk, but if he had, he was rather certain this was what a hangover would feel like. Despite the fact that vampires never slept, and therefore never got tired . . . nor did they receive migraines or feel groggy, Jasper just felt disheveled. His appearance was not as neat as he often strived for. He was clad only in pants, and only had one shoe on, while the other he did not even recall losing. He still had his sock on his other foot, miraculously. His wavy hair was tossed around, each hair going in a different direction. It was not at all tame; it was completely wild.
Yes. Jasper Whitlock Hale did not look like the formal, military man he often gave the impression of. Right now, he was a mess, and he was not sure why Leah was wearing his shirt -- well he knew why but he was not sure what circumstances had led her to wearing it. Everything that had happened was far too much to recall in the seconds it was taking them to get back to his house. They were getting closer and closer to the front door.

As the others left for a hunting trip, Alice stayed behind. She was not very thirsty, but she the main reason she was staying behind was because she was worried and in no state to hunt. She was a little less worried, usually, when Jasper was out with Leah, she did not mind. He could befriend who ever her he wanted, Alice did not control his life. But each time, she only worried a little because she could not see anything, in the future. She couldn't tell if something bad was going to happen or anything else. She did not want to eavesdrop, though. She just hated being 'blind'. The reason why Alice worried more this time was because he had been gone for a while. She did not mind, she just could not help but worry, it was how she was.
The sound of light footsteps, acompanied with a heavier set, was heard far off. Alice could smell them, as well; the acrid smell of shape-shifter was mixed with the scent of a vampire. Alice went to the door after a short minute, and opened the door. "Oh my... What happened?" The sight before her was a train reck, well, so it seemed. Both Jasper and Leah were a complete disaster, a mess from head to toe. (terrible post)

Leah looked at Alice for a moment before breaking out into a grin. It was a annoyed grin that looked more llike she was grinding her teeth then smiling. Wearing nothing but Jasper's shirt was horrible but going home and letting her mother see this was out of the question! "You got some pants, that don't smell like vamp?" She asked Alice ignoring the questions she asked. Let Jasper handle that. She was naked and wanted pants.

Alice persed her lips. "I can get you a pair of Esme's -- mine will not fit you -- but they are going to smell like us anyways." It was impossible to keep the scent of vampire away when vampires lived in the home. But, Alice figured she should go get Leah some pants anyway. The girl probably got angry and tore her clothes to shreads. The little vampire bounded off up the stairs, walking into Esme and Carlisle's room. She came back to the two with a pair of black corderoids in her hand, giving them to Leah. "You can keep those."
Alice looked over at Jasper, still awaiting for an answer patiently, since she was sure Leah would not tell her, the girl barely liked to speak to her.

Jasper had to admit that he was extremely relieved that Leah now had pants. It was awkward enough with her wearing his shirt, at least now she had something on underneath it. "Thank you Alice," he said, thanking her for the pants, even though she had given them to Leah. He was not sure where to begin . . . or how to begin. That night had been the most crazy night he had ever experienced, and in an odd way. He was not even sure how they had gotten into this state.
"How was your night Alice?" He asked, taking a step closer to her. He had missed his wife greatly, and he did not feel any anger from her right now. . . so that was certainly a good sign. He was now standing next to her, still looking at her, though his next words were to Leah. "If you would like to go inside to put on the pants Leah, you are more than welcome to."

Alice gave Jasper a small grin for a second, when he thanked her, for Leah. It was a little weird to have the girl standing there in just a shirt, some pants would help the situation a whole lot. Now, if she would put them on... it would be even less awkward to be around her. Alice tilted her head to the side a little. She had not expected the subject to be turned on her, though she had no doubt that her question would answered eventually.
"It was fun. Edward and Emmett had it out in a little fight. It was quite intertainning." Alice gave a small giggle while recalling the playful fight her brothers had had. As she spoke, she had to crawn her head back as Jasper walked over to her. "Besides that," She gave a shrugg, expersion a little bored. "Nothing new." The life of a vampire tended to get a little repetitive.
Alice felt -- hoped -- that Jasper would explain to her what had happened. And when he told Leah she could go inside to get dressed, she figured he'd tell her when Leah was indoors.

Leah put on the pants right there, and then rubbed her noise. UGH! GAG! She was used to dressing and hiding 'parts' as being naked was a part of being a wolf. Still, she did it to annoy people rather then just being overly used to it. They smelled like vampire. What did the little vamp do? Pull them right off the mom vamp and take them straight to her? Smelled like it. "Yeah there was fighting in our night too."
Not that you could tell. Jasper's skin didn damage and Leah healed very fast. "But you should of seen the other guys!"

(Guess I'll reply to this and keep it alive XP) Why wasn't Alice surprised, even when she could not see it coming. Leah would not want to go into the house to put the corderoides, she had to put them on right there. What Alice really cared about was that she had some pants on now, it made things less awkward. Leah was dressed, Jasper... half, but it was different in his case. So things were no longer awkward.
Alice looked over at Leah after she spoke about there being fighting in their night. She looked up at Jasper for a moment. She knew she had nothing to worry about, for one he was safe, and for an other thing, she knew he was capable of taking on anything, but still. "What happened?" She asked them both, looking from one to the other. Usually she knew, but with Leah... she knew nothing.
