Greece | 100 B.C. Children of the Moon were truly fascinating! There was so much to learn, so much Aro did not know. Where they truly a danger? Or could they perhaps gain some control. That would be most interesting to find out. Just how much control did these creatures have? It seemed they had very little. Of course now more than ever the question if they were dangerous or not was being question. They were evidently strong, very strong. They could kill a vampire if they so desired it seemed they were mostly controlled by instinct and there was very little that could change that. But still this was mostly assumptions they could not be certain. But if his brothers, Caius in particular, with recent events would even reconsider this or not Aro was not certain. Caius mostly like would not he wanted them all destroyed Aro did not even have to read his thoughts to know this. Marcus may agree with Aro after all there was much to learn. And they truly did not know much about these children of the moon. Werewolves as the humans would call them.
Whatever name they were called they were most interesting to consider. They were humans yet with a full moon they would change into great wolves powerful, strong. Aro wonder if they realized what they were doing or not. It was obvious they were harming, killing humans for the humans feared them greatly just as vampires. As long as humans believed in werewolves the likely chance they would also believe in vampires. This was not something Aro wanted. He wanted humans to no longer believe in vampires to simply think they were nothing more than a myth, a story long ago forgotten. But this would take a long time much longer than Aro would like. As long as humans would continue to believe in creatures of the dark so would be aware of them. Humans were easily persuade but if children of the moon were around and known then there would be no question about vampires as well. Perhaps they were a danger but this was not completely certain. For how could they be sure when the knew little?
Aro was looking at the situation through simply one point of view. Aro need to consider all sides of the situation. Certainly Caius's opinion mattered much after all the very reason the thought of destroying all the children of the moon was because of what happen to him. Caius was alive and well certainly perhaps a little shaken even if he would not admit by nearly being killed by one of these creatures. If it had been Aro he would probably feel the same but there was so much they could find out from these creatures! Still so much they did not know. But with everything consider perhaps they should be destroyed. Aro would certainly not be to hasty in his decision. There were a few guard members around as always. They did not want anything to happen to their masters. Caius was not to far off and he was certain he was very displeased with what had just happen. Caius had defeated the Child of the Moon and he was alive and well certainly he shouldn't be so upset. Hopefully he would see what they could learn from this and not jump to quickly in demanding some kind of justice be done.

Recent events had surely shaken Caius a little, but it hardly ment he was lesser than he was before. Children of the Moon, or rather Werewolves, were wild and uncontrolable things that should never be trusted. They should be distroyed, every last one of them. This opinion of his wasn't entirely based on his near death experience, Caius had other valid reasons. Now, he knew Aro and Marcus were very curious about these fullmoon creatures and wanted to learn more about them, but there was absolutely no chance of either of them getting to communicate with one. These things were instinctive and it hardly help that vampires were their enemies. They attacked at will without warning and they could take them all down very quickly.
Caius gazed with a bored expression on his face that managed to conseal his slight alertness at their surroundings. Greece. He had been here before too many times.
(really bad, not really finished cause I ran out of ideas but I am not going to finish it anymore than that. Next time will be better)

Aro wanted to know all he could about the Children of the Moon. Of course he would be rational about the decision. He would look at every side of the situation and listen to both of his brothers and each of their opinions. Caius wanted to destroy all of the Children of the Moon. Aro was quit certain of this. Perhaps it was not all due to him almost being killed by one of those creatures but it probably had a lot to do with it. Aro was very curious and wanted to know so much more about these creatures. To destroy seemed to be such a waste and certainly not something Aro wanted. There was so much they could learn! Aro was always interested in learning especially about those subjects he knew little about. The Children of the Moon happen to be something he knew so little. He wanted to know much more. Just what drove them to react so violently? Was it purely instinct they were just like the animals they became?
Of course while there was so much Aro wanted to know there was also the danger it appeared they had. If they could figure out if they were drawn to react violently if it was simply in their nature perhaps Aro would be reconsidering of what to do. For now he did not think they should all be destroyed. But as long as humans were aware of them they would also suspect vampires even if they were to hide their existence. The humans would always be suspicious for they were still very aware of both vampires and werewolves as the Children of the Moon were called. If the Children of the Moon were completely drawn by instinct and therefore completely out of control there was a danger. Perhaps Caius's fight with one proved this but Aro would not jump to conclusions. He would much rather look at every side of the situation. But the problem Aro had with these creatures was the fact they failed to hide their existence. That humans believed in them as much as they did vampires. Aro did not want humans to know of their existence they very reason this was something to consider. If the Children of the Moon did not exist then perhaps humans would be that much more unaware of vampires.
While the danger they presented was there it could perhaps be controlled. If they simply knew more about them. If they could have a better understanding of the creatures this would help making a decision so much easier. Aro did not want to waste the opportunity to learn so much more. "Brother, we shouldn't be to hasty in this decision." Aro turned his attention to Caius. Aro did not want to decide to destroy all werewolves until Aro was confident that the werewolves truly would present a danger to vampires. "We must consider every side of the situation. We know they present some danger, but we know of not how much." Aro would admit they could present a danger to their own kind. For they had nearly killed Caius this was something to present when looking at every side of this situation. "But there happens to be so much we not yet know. So much we could learn!" Aro was eager to learn as much as he could about these creatures. Yet Aro was quiet aware they may indeed present a danger to their kind and keeping their existence a secret.

Caius' brows furrowed slightly as he listened to Aro. Of course he was always so interested in learning about new creatures. "You know how these things react to us, brother. Negotiation will prove to be a great challenge." If it were even possible, he added as a side note in his thoughts. "We should eleminate them all. The issuses they could bring us in the future..." Children of the Moon were very instinctive and it made them that much more unpredictable. Caius did not like surprises -- not like that. He looked at Aro from the corner of his eyes. Aro was a very determined man, when he wanted something it took something drastic to change his mind. This time... it wasn't the case.
The attack Caius had barely survived at the hands of one of these monsters was fresh in his mind and to imagine that he was almost unable to escape did not make Aro anymore wery about the situation. Look forward again, Caius sighed. "I wish you would reconsider this, Aro."

Aro was most interested in finding out more about these creatures. Certainly the could come to some sort of compromise. Be absolutely certain they were a danger. Know they could not keep their existence a secret and that they were not a danger to vampires. ”Caius, certainly you can see the potential in these creatures? We know so little we should not judge prematurely. We need to know more about these creatures before we say they are not worth our time and should be destroyed.” Children of the Moon were of great interest to Aro nothing would please him more than to find out all he could about them. He knew they were a danger it was obvious when Caius had been nearly killed but that did not change anything. They should not judge from one creature. Just like vampires each one was different some were dangerous and needed to be destroyed. The very reason for the Volturi of course Aro also loved the power and position he had. There was no way he would willingly give up such power. But they needed to be careful with these creatures they could only assume how dangerous they were. The needed more time.
Aro could understand why exactly Caius wanted them all destroyed immediately. After all he had been nearly killed by a child of the moon. Even so Aro still did not think they should all be destroyed. Not until they knew more about these creatures that was the most important factor to Aro. ”Brother, we should not be hasty. We will come a decision we have to consider all factors of the situation. The do seem to present a danger. Yet we do not know how dangerous they really are one child of the moon is not enough to prove either way.” Aro would take his time in deciding what to do. He would not be forced to make a decision to soon. For he needed to be careful and certain he did not presume to know to much. For there was so little they truly knew about these creatures. Aro was always interested in learning and the children of the moon presented a wonderful opportunity! And Aro would take the time to look at each side of this situation whether Caius agreed or not. If the were a danger than he would admit they were and should be destroyed. But until he was certain.
Aro smiled at his brother he was reconsidering there was simply much to think about. ”I am, brother, after all we have to look at each side of this situation.” There was much to consider. And much that needed to be discussed. ”The creatures appear to be purely on instinct but we cannot be certain if this is true or not. Wouldn’t it just be wonderful if we could speak to one of these creatures?” Aro could find out so much if he could speak to them for he knew they were not always animal. For the most part they were humans. ”So much we could learn, brother, that would certainly be wonderful!” Once Aro was certain about the creatures he would make his final decision. If they needed to be destroyed or not. Of course Marcus would need to decide as well. If it was needed. Caius would not change his mind on the situation. This Aro knew for certain. ”We need to know if they are able to keep their existence a secret. For if they cannot that alone is something we cannot allow. If humans know of them then what is to stop them from knowing about us? We want out existence to be a secret.”
