Self Testing ((Kate))

Garrett had decided to swore of human blood. Swearing off something cold turkey was never an easy feat and Garrett had to push himself to stick to the new diet. The thing that helped him the most, that kept him from saying screw it and leaving was Kate. He had become fascinated with Kate, when he met her at the Cullen's. Golden blonde hair and a determined personality pulled Garrett toward her. He could see adventure in her, a fighting spirit and extreme loyalty. They were a perfect match and he would do anything for his mate.
Today Garrett was going to test his ability to resist human blood. Being an adventurous soul, he was interested to see what he could do. He was motivated and when he was motivated there was little that could stop him. He had convinced himself that he could with stand the burning call of human blood.
He could smell a human, probably out hunting and he decided he was going to talk to him or her.
He looked for Kate, knowing she probably wouldn't approve of such a mission, but she wasn't any where around.
He flew through the trees stopping a few feet from the human.
It was a father, with his young son and they were ice fishing.
From where he stood neither human could see him, so he stood and watched them for a few moments.
The thirst was hard to resist but if it got too bad he would flee. Killing a child wasn't something he wanted on his mind.

Now where did that boy go?! Now a day's all Kate seemed to be doing was chasing after her one and only. But it was always a good time searching for him. She never knew what she would find when she found him. So with that she ran, ran as fast as her little legs could take her. BAMB! She smelt it, humans... Humans here in the woods, her none beating heart almost jumped outta her chest! Great! Just great! Kate ran hoping to cut Garrett off, hoping to get to him before he got to the humans. Looks like it was her lucky day. Garrett was waiting, watching the humans. Kate was off down wind, where Garrett could not see or Smell her. She waited for a moment or two before making her way towards him. "What do you think you are doing?!?!" Kate exclaimed, her arms crossed as she broke thought the brush. Standing in front of Garrett, blocking his view of the humans. She made sure that she stood right in front, she let her power roll over her skin, like lightning, coming from her pale skin, though it would only look like she was glowing if a human saw her. Vampiers could pick out the individual lines that made up her shock. "well?!" Kate asked with a sly smile on her face. Like he thought he could get away from her! YEAH RIGHT! he better think again!

Garrett smiled when Kate approached. She looked angry and when she crossed her arms he just about lost it. Her scolding him made him smile. It was cute to see. If she was really really mad though he'd have a much different reaction. The sly smile made him think she wasn't an angry bomb needing to be defused.
He stepped toward her with a lopsided grin on his face. His arms held out to her. He didn't wait for her to step into them though. Instead he began to rub circles on her arms. Her skin shocked him but he resisted the sting and continued to hold her.
"I'm not doing anything." He replied, trying not to have a smart ass remark. She was probably sincerely worried under all that scolding.
"I wouldn't risk losing you woman." He finally responded
He took one hand from her arm and put it on the side of her beautiful face.
"You don't have to worry so much." He added
Then feeling like this conversation was getting a little too emotional grabbed her around the waist and pulled her closer to him. He buried his face close to her neck and gently bit her a couple times.
"Or maybe you do." He whispered, "You taste good."
Then all at once he pulled away from her and shot toward the direction of the house. Leaving nothing from his quick pace to show he'd been there at all.

"Sure your not!!" Katrina said her eye's getting a little smaller, not looking to happy, but it was mainly an act. She could never really be mad at her Garrett!!! She just loved him too much to really be mad at him! "Sure sure Garrett!" Katrina said shaking her head. "For all I know you were off getting hitched with another women... though, the women would not have lived long enough for the I do... nor would you have lived that long!" Kate said with a laugh. " My point is, don't you ever leave me like that! I was worried!" Kate said with a small smack on his arm, just enough so he felt it, not enough to do any damage. "Oh Garrett!" Katrina said shaking her head, just as she was about to push him off her, he took off running. "I'm not gonna follow you!" Katrina called after him, her arm's stood on her hips, and her foot tapping the floor lightly, just waiting for him to come back, oh and she knew he would, he had to, if not he was in for a whole lotta pain. If she had to find him, he was gonna shock the hell outta him, make him regret leaving her for even a moment! So he better get his ass back here and in the next minute or his ass is GRASS!!!

Garrett sighed, so she was really that upset. He couldn't just joke his way out of this one. Okay well he would try one last thing to try to make her laugh. To make her forget that she was angry.
He raced back to her and fell to his knees in front of her.
Then he took one of her hands, it hurt, like Hell she was really pissed, but he held on in order to kiss her hand a couple times.
"Katrina your my one and only, and you will always be the only woman for me." He looked up into her eyes, his hand holding hers stung quite a bit but he wouldn't let go.
"I would not get down on my knees for anyone but you Kate, and only cause you knock me off my feet." He gave her a cocky grin, his joke was stupid but the meaning was very serious. Garrett was so prideful he was always hiding behind his witty remarks, but now, right now for her he was on his knees in the snow. Garrett was insanely in love with her.
"I shouldn't have worried you." He said his voice all sincere "But when you get that wrinkle between your eyebrows, you just look so beautiful." He stood quickly, still holding her hand and kissed her right between the eyes.

Kate just waiting. Counting the seconds as they passed. Good thing he got back after a few seconds, becasue if he was not in front of her in that very moment, and SHE had to go get him, he would have paid for it! Katrina would have put him right on his back. Made him hate it! But he came back so all was good. Katrina's face turned a little. Into a small smile, a happier one. That was sweet, major points for that. When she was kissed she wrinkled her noes a little with a small laugh, before wrapping her arms around him. "Don't you ever run away from me Mr.!" Katrina said with a small giggle. "I'm the one who does the running!" Katrina said before giving him a nice little kiss, then took off running as fast as her little legs could take her. She giggled loudly as she ran, knowing he would be right behind her. He always was. And she loved it! She loved that he was always there, in her shadow. Just waiting for her to need something. God what would she do with out her love?

Garrett grinned, seeing his Kate with a smile on her face was something he lived for.
"I'm not stupid, running from you would be the most idiotic thing I'd have ever done." Garrett replied
He wasn't surprised when she kissed him, but it was always shocking at how wonderful kissing her felt. He would never admit to it but Kate had him wrapped around her little finger. it wasn't something he was used to and he didn't think he'd ever want it before now. Now he had Kate and she had him and he loved being hers.
"And I am always behind to catch you!" Garrett let out a playful chuckled and chased after Kate. Being shorter than him he could usually catch up to her although he had more body mass then she did and she had a head start.
He caught up to her eventually reaching for her and pulling her down on a place that was covered, so the snow couldn't reach it.
He propped himself on his arms and looked down at her. She was so beautiful he couldn't believe that she was his.
He pushed a strand of her hair out of her face and kissed the end of her nose.
"it's new to me you know, this diet and I don't like not being in control of myself." He was surprised at how truthful he was being. He was showing her his true feelings and that wasn't something he did often.
"You help me control it Kate. Every time I smell a human your face flashes before my eyes. I'd never do anything to risk losing you." He touched her cheek. His hands were rough, being a nomad meant living a more natural life and he hadn't had smooth hands since his childhood.
Her face on the other hand was so soft and smooth.
He pressed his own cheek against hers for a moment feeling the difference in their skins and then he kissed her her lips were soft too.
So strange his rough, ruggedness and her smooth, softness. He enjoyed the feel of her even when her very skin was shocking the hell out of him, he'd always love her.

"You better believe it would be!" She added to his comment on running away. Shit if he even though about going too far, and Kate knew about it (And with Edward on her side, he was sure to tell her of Garrett's plains on running) Garrett would not get too far, with out being knocked out! Kate has only once knocked Garrett out with her power, the very first time he touched her. She remembered that day well. When he was curious, the very first time she saw him, and loved him in the same moment. he wanted to know what it felt like to be shocked by her, so she turned it up and out he went! That was her very best memory, and the day she met her love! Kate giggled all the way down, only stopping a little while after being kissed on the nose. Of course she wrinkled her nose a little when she was kissed, but that was normal. Just a little cute thing she liked to do. "Aw baby." Kate said knowing it was hard for him to show her his feelings. "It's okay to slip up! We are only well vampires! It's natural. I know it hard. Oh believe me I know!" Kate said her arms wrapping around him. She laughed a little at his kiss. "I could never leave you even if you don't choice this life." She said knowing that he was just trying this Veggie thing. He never said, nor did she expect him to stay a veggie. She hoped, it would be so much better, but she would love him even if he did suck humans dry. She would still love him.

Garrett's face became a huge smile. She was laughing, well giggling really and the sound was fantastic to hear.
She began to talk to him about the diet and he was a little surprised by what she said.
"Kate I don't like to fail at things. I'm trying this and I want to succeed so I will not be happy if I fail at it. I know if I'm a veg, then it will be easier for us and I want to be with you." He said
He was one of those people who hated to lose. If you won something against him he'd try his hardest to get better at it and beat you. It may have been one of his down falls but it was who he was. It wasn't as bad as it used to be he actually enjoyed losing to Kate in games, but it was still there under the surface.
He tickled her ribs hoping to make her laugh again.
He thought back to what it had been like living with out Kate. He was surprised that he could have lived with out knowing this happiness before now.
"I know you'd never leave me cause if you did I'd follow and knocking me out wouldn't stop me for long." He grinned at her and hugged her close to him for a moment. Then he picked her up into his arms and started to run.

"Awww... I know baby!" Katrina said with a mock sad face. Well she was still kinda sad, but she just made it look like crazy sad. She just wanted him to laugh, lighten the mood a little. It was fun times, not lets talk about serious things time. "It would be easy... yes but even if wanted to chump on humans.. it's only natural! I'm complete fine with it! I don't even care if you... say... joined Aro and his gang, I would still stick by you.. I don't care what you do as long as your happy! That's all I care about love!" Katrina said stroking his face lightly. Yeah she loved him, and would follow him EVERYWHERE!! She could care less what happened, just as long as they were together. All the tickling got him was a nose wrinkling. When she was human she used to be VERY ticklish, but now, not so much. Okay so that made her giggle, when she was picked up, and when he ran she giggled. But why not have some fun with it, so she kissed him as he ran. She half wondered how large the path would be, Garrett was bound to hit SOMETHING as they ran, no way he could concentrate on where he was going while she kissed him the way she did. Or maybe he could... she was about to find out. "Where we going?" Kate asked between smaller kisses.

She kissed him while he ran. It was really distracting but it wasn't like he was going to ask her to stop. Running while kissing wasn't exactly something he learned in Vamp 101 so he was training himself to use his other senses. His eyes were a little distracted, by Kate's face. He used his hearing to gage how close he was getting to things. If he heard his clothing slide against the rock ledge then he knew to move a little in the other direction. Mostly he used his sense of touch. His feet hitting the ground, his shoulder brushing by a tree.
"You'll see." He teased when they halted at their kisses.
He finally arrived at the spot he wished to show her. It was about thirty miles from the place they had just been.
A mountain side, looking out over miles of snow. Drops and peaks made little sparkling dunes in the late sun. He brought her here to see the sun set. Lighting the mounds of snow on fire with brilliant colors.
He sat down, Kate in his lap and wrapped his arms around her.
"I found it the other day while hunting," He explained, running his finger's through her hair, "It was so beautiful, it made me think of you."
He moved her hair aside and kissed the back of her neck.
"I wanted to share it with you." He whispered

"Awww... come on love!" Katrina said, her nose wrinkling once more, her eyes locked with his, begging for an answer. Though as soon as she got the question out, they were already here... apparently. Well he did stop running, which was a good clue. "Should I close my eyes?! or something?!" Katrina asked with yet another giggle, as he sat down. But it was a joke, she would look in a second, when he was finished talking. "Aww baby!" She comment after each little sentience. "Well whatever it is I am sure I'll love it!" Katrina said wanting to reward her little worrier. He was trained so well, well he had a few kinks, but so did she, it still worked! "That's so sweet... I love you too!" She added with yet another kiss, a more passionate one. A very nice rewarding kind of kiss. She would look at his surprise in just a short moment. She wanted to see it so bad, but they had the rest of the time for her to view it.

Garrett just laughed as Katrina seemed to wait for his surprise. He wasn't going to ask her to stop kissing him. What guy would?! Someone who wasn't Garrett, he'd never get over how much he loved kissing his Kate.

"Kate when you wrinkle your nose like that it's hard for me to say no to you, and unfortunately you've figured that out huh." Garrett teased.
He had a difficult time saying no to Kate anyway, adding that extra cute expression only made it ten times harder for him.

He spontaneously pulled her closer for a quick second pushing her hair away so her ear was uncovered he whispered,
"You have to look away now, to see what I've brought you to see." He told her. Teasing her by running one finger along her collar bone.

If she didn't look soon though the sun will have set and then the magnificent colors would have faded to blackness. It would still be beautiful to look at, all that black with silvers stars lighting up the snow drifts.

He wanted to show Kate the fire though, the fire that had reminded him so clearly of her fiery spirit.

Katrina giggled slightly. Oh course she figured it out. Of course she knew what to do and what not to do, she knew what he loved about her, and what he wanted from her. Kate just knew what he needed. "Oh course!" She responded. She knew everything about him, or so she though. She did not want to look away from him. He was gift enough for her. And she could seriously sit here all day and just watch him, just get lost in his eyes. It would be easy to do to. She was about to get lost in his eyes, when he just out of the blue pulled her closer and whispered in her ear. She smiled lightly and turned around to see the beautiful site. "Garrett!" She said her voice a little higher. "That's so beautiful! thank you my love!" Katrina said, her eye brows wrinkled together a little. She almost sad, because it was so pretty. "Thank you!" She said looking back at him, and snuggling up to him real close. She looked back out at the sun set, just holding her Garrett, just being with her one and only love. He was so sweet, the most amazing man in the world.

Garrett chuckled as his Kate said she knew, he probably wouldn't have told her that her cute little expression had such an affect on him, but because he could tell she already knew, he figured what the heck.

When she finally looked to see the sight before them Garrett laughed a slightly cocky look on his face. Yeah he knew his woman, knew she'd love this.
He didn't expect the look on her face though, her eye brows all pulled together.
He ran a hand along her forehead, tracing her eye brows with his finger.
"What caused that face babe?" He asked, did his surprise bring up some horrible memory he hadn't known about? He hoped not, that certainly wasn't his intension.

She thanked him again and he figured everything was alright.
"Only the best for my woman." He said, although he meant it.
When she cuddled up to him, he wrapped one arm around her and used the other to smooth back her hair. Her hair was so soft, he liked running his fingers through it along her back.
He leaned down and kissed her forehead, sweetly, softly. He felt so happy, to have his love in his arms.

"It's just so pretty...." Katrina said with a small sigh, moving so she was more on his lap then next to him. Just getting really close to her one and only. "I dunno... just makes me.... a little sad. I guess...." Katrina confessed. "I guess... I just want...." Katrina said hiding her face in his chest best she could. His chest was so rock hard, as was the rest of him, so it's not like she could do much. But she attempted. "I just never though..." Katrina struggled with her words. "I just never thought I wanted... I never knew..." She sighed. "Garrett I know it's impossible, but I want a baby." Katrina confessed. "I want to see how a child would look, if it were half you half me..." She said almost crying, though in this body she could not cry. Which only made her feel worse. "I never wanted one, I was so happy.... until you. You made me more then happy, your my everything...." Katrina said her face still hidden, her words muffled by his shirt. "and I want a child to show off... someone that is both mine and yours." She continued. "I know it's silly, it's impossibly....and I know I'll get over it... just it's so pretty....I remember someone talking about their child... they said it was more beautiful then any sun set." Katrina just blabbed on and on. "It's silly I know. It's totally impossible... but I cant help but want. I feel ridiculous." She added her arms fully wrapped around Garrett. Hugging him close, though she wanted to be closer. She wanted more, she wanted their bodies to mold together like a human's would. She though did not want to be human, she wanted, things she knew she just could not have.

Garrett waited as Kate tried to get her thought's together. He held her closer as she climbed into his lap and stroked her hair as she spoke.
She wanted a baby. his hand stopped for a moment and then continued. She wanted the one thing that Garrett could never give her. They were certainly not allowed to turn a child. Any teenager they turned would most likely not like the fact that the two of them had turned him or her because they wanted a child they couldn't have. They couldn't raise a human child as there own until Garrett could control his blood lust. He was doing better that was for sure. He had gotten pretty close to the family today and hadn't tried to kill them. Maybe one day they could raise a human child together. They had the means to adopt that was for sure.
"It's not ridiculous Katrina. You know if I could give you a child I would. One day we could adopt a child, if you wanted too. A human child. It would not be part of you and me, but it would be ours." He said, he wanted to see her face but she kept it pressed tightly to his chest. So he just held her rocking her a little in his arms.
He didn't like to see her suffering. A desire you can never have is a truly painful thing.
He kissed her forehead and sighed.
He wanted to give his Kate the world, he would try his best to do so, and she asks for the one thing that would risk both there lives to get.
The Voulturi would be difficult to get around. Unless they didn't have any issues with the child to alert them of his or her exisitnace.
"We could have a human child. Have Eleazar go with us to pick him or her from an orphanage and he could see if they would have a power when turned. if so Aro might leave the child be. Just as a precausion. I doubt the Volturi would find out" Garrett thought about it. He didn't like the idea of the Volturi finding out about there child. He was one to tease and test limits but not when it was his own child's life he was using as bait.
"I don't know Kate. I just want you to be happy." He finished

"But it is babe! It is! I know I should not want a child!" She said wanting to cry so bad, wanting to get rid of all her sadness, but nothing would fall from her eye's. She almost hated being a vampire, almost that is. But he did have quite an idea. "Oh could we?!" She asked letting herself look up to him. "Adopt a human child?" She added, desire in her eyes. Of course they would not be able to do so for year's, not until he got over his human eating. But after that, a real baby, to raise and love, and maybe even change, just maybe. "They would never know!" Kate said nodding her head happy at the though. "We can adopt a human baby, and keep it as our own. Then when they reach their late teens we can change the little guy, or girl." She continued. "Aro left Bella alone.. the will leave our baby alone, as long as we change them when they are old enough. It'll be perfect" Kate continued she could already see it."The child does not have to have a gift, As long as we change the little one, once it reaches early adult hood, they can't touch us." She said hugging her love, a happy I love you hug, no long the I need a shoulder to cry on hug. "You are amazing!" She added with a content sigh. She could wait for Garett to be ready. 20 years down the road, 200 year's she could wait. At least now she had something to look forward too.

"Once I'm sure I can control this thirst Katie, I'm all for getting a kid." Garrett said, enjoying the way her eyes lit up at the very prospect of such a thing.
"Yes we could. Are you comfortable with changing a child though. We both know how painful the experience is." Garrett thought back to when he was turned and fought wincing as he remembered the hideous pain. It was the worst pain he had ever experienced. It was utterly excruciating.
When she hugged him, he hugged her back, closer, tighter than before. He wanted to protect her from any sort of pain or worry. Having a child meant constant worry, and if the Volturi did find out, if they came and demanded the child be destroyed, he didn't want Kate to have to deal with that. Hell he didn't want to get all attached and have to deal with that himself!
She said he was amazing, but was he? Was this idea a safe one?
He didn't express his worry to his bright eyed, happy love, instead he hid it with teasing.
"I'm amazing?" He asked kissing her along her collar bone, trailing a finger along the collar of her shirt.
He loved to tease her, his Kate.

Katrina just squealed a little at his response. "That would make me so happy!" Katrina said, wow, the thought of it. To raise a growing HUMAN child, with her love, and change her baby when she was old enough. that would be just so amazing! Her dream come true, someone who had the morals of herself and her love. Yeah the child would not look like her of Garrett but that did not matter. Maybe if she were lucky, she could raise more then one. Only if Garrett agreed, of course. "Well we will give him or her the choice. Tell him or her, all the good and bad, and she'll be old enough to pick for herself. If I can't do it, and you can't do it, then we can always call in Carlisle, He's changed so many, it's like blood is nothing to him." She added softly. "and Of course your amazing.... I would not love anything less them amazing." Kate said giggling a little. "I'm perfect remember, and I need someone more then perfect to stand next to." She went on for a second before relaxing in his arm's thinking of their future family. Maybe she could talk to Alice, see if anything was gonna happen to their little girl or boy. Or if that is even possible.

"Anything that makes you happy, is something I will strive to get, love." Garrett said as the last hint of sun set behind the farest peak.
Garrett didn't like the idea of someone else turning their child, but if it was Charlisle then that was sort of different. For all intensive purposes the Cullen's were just extended family to the Denali's.
He was starting to picture it, watching Kate hold their baby boy or girl, the way her face would look.
That above all things motivated Garrett. He would over come this thirst as fast as he could for her, for that look she'd have holding their human child.
"You are perfect, perfect for me." Garrett said sounded all pleased with himself for coming up with such a saying.
When she relaxed in his arms Garrett rested his head against her, savoring the smell of her skin and hair.
She was so beautiful and if she wanted a child, he would do everything he could to get one for her.

"thank you." Was all Kate could say in a response to her one and only. He gave her so much, that a child was not necessary, she wanted one yes, but some things just are not possible. She understood that. But there was still a lot to do, she first had to figure out how the Voltuir would act, if she went to them, asked them about this. She would have to talk to Miss. Alice first, and well the whole Cullen family. Seeing as Kate was sort of apart of the Cullen family, they had a right to know, for they were surly going to get involved if anything was to happen. Also the rest of her family needs to know. They had a right to know, before Kate settled in on the idea. She had to make sure everyone was cool with it before it happened. "We are a perfect match..." Kate said with a small giggle, before she wiggled her way free from Garrett. She sat on her knees for just a second before she pushed him to the cold hard floor. She settled into him, making sure as much of her was pressed to him as possible. Garrett was pushed so he was on his back, Kate was on her side, leaning on him, pretty much on top of him. Her head rested on his shoulder, closer to his arm, her hand began to draw hearts and random little things on his chest. This was the life.

A kid would take a lot of his patience but he was good with kids, other peoples kids. He wondered how much he could take of the why? questions. He was all set for the rough and tumble part. He'd be able to carry his kid long after a normal human could, the weight of a child in his arms would feel like nothing.
He laughed as Katrina pushed him onto his back and smiled a wide smile.
"If you wanted to play Kate, you could have just asked." he said laughing
She laid almost on top of him, making little designs on his chest. He pulled her so she was directly on top of him and kissed her stopping only to bit her neck gently.
"Kate, do you wanna hit up that Volturi ball?" Garrett asked out of the blue.
He knew most of the family wasn't going. Eleazar and Carmen had...bad feelings with the Volturi. He didn't know about Tanya however.
He pictured swirling his Kate around the dance floor, all eyes would certainly be on her, she was gorgeous.
"You'd be the one everyone was starring at thinking, who's that lucky guy with that beautiful girl?" He ran his fingers along the contours of her face and grinned at her.
Then there was always the option of visiting the Cullen's, they needed to know his and Kate's plans even if they were in the far future.
"Maybe the Cullen's will go, we need to talk to them Kate. If they aren't there a visit to them will be necessary." He thought about it planning it out in his head.

"Oh shut up!" Katrina said with a little laugh, as she shook her head. Like she was REALLY going to go, Hey Garrett, honey? Wanna play? That was sooo tacky! No it was not tacky, it was just odd, down right weird.So no she was not about to ask him if he wanted to play, she was just gonna do it. Besides, Kate never knew what she wanted to do, she just sorta did it. A knee jerk reaction? Who knows. She usually just acted. "The Volturi ball?" she questioned. Not sure she wanted to go. Aro and her, did not get along all that well. Then again, it would be a way to tell all the women out there that Garrett was HER MAN! and if they wanted to keep their arm's the would BACK the HECK off! "Oh stop!" Katrina said with a giggle. "But I think we should go see the Cullen's first. Then maybe we all could go to the ball together?!" Kate said with a shrug. "I've wanted to go back anyway, see what Renesmee looks like fully grown and all." Kate said with a sigh, it's been way way way too long. "I mean, I think we should talk to the rest of the family first, they should know." She added softly, as she continued to draw her random shapes on his chest. "This is going to be very hard." Katrina said with a sigh. "If we do go to the ball, we must make sure that no one touches Aro. He will not be pleased." Katrina added. "So maybe we should just keep it between the two of us, until this horrid ball is over." She asked, thought it sounded more like a statement then anything. It would be really important that this stay between the Cullen's and themselves, at least for a while. For the child's protection at least.

Garrett loved hearing her laugh, as she told him to shut up however he took her hand and put it over his mouth as if she was shushing him and then bit her hand. He grinned at her and threading his fingers in her hair.
"Yes the Volturi ball. However montsorous this event shall be it won't be an event at all with out us present." Garrett teased.
He chuckled as she asked him to stop, then became mock serious.
"I will not stop prasing your beauty, ever." He said
She continued speaknig however talking about seeing the Cullen's first and the whole group attending the ball together.
"That could be a better idea, always good to have higher numbers at a ball with the people who think it's there job to rule the world." Garrett laughed joking it off but the Volturi pissed him off, their were sao few of their kind because fo the Volturi and their rules. Imagining that Carmen almost hadn't survived her run in with them made him hate them all the more. They had even destroyed his loves mother right before her eyes! They were a hideous group. Garrett smiled when thinking of the Cullen's little Renesmee, she was sweet back when he had seen her last and apparently still was to this day. It would be good to see her alive and well.
"We should go see the Cullen's first then, see what they think about our child and this ball." Garrett stated
Garrett thought of Aro touching any of them, their were plenty of reasons to touch another at a dance. What if he asked to dance with Katrina. His whole body stfiffened up at the thought.
"No we cannot go. He cannot touch you. Ever." Garrett concluded

Kate just wrinkled her nose a little when Garrett bite her finger. She shook her head a little, he was such a child, but she loved him all the more for it. Kate shook her head and rolled her eyes at him. "Your a child!" She said said shifting so she was sitting on the ground next to him. She gave him a little baby shove, wrinkling her nose once more. "Your so Lame." She added with a giggle, clearly joking with him. But still, he was so lame. "Our future child." Katrina corrected him. They did not have a child yet, and they shall not lead anyone on. It was just a thought. WHOA!! 360!! "What? Wait, What? Garrett?" She asked utterly confused. "Who can't touch me? What?!" She asked. "Your the only one I want touching me baby...." She said fussing over him a little. She had a hand on each side of his face, holding him still, making him look at her. What was going on in his mind. For real, she was beginning to freak out over his little...mood swing.

Garrett laughed as her nose wrinkled into a face he was beginning to find familiar.
"I'm a child, and you love me any way." Garrett responded grabbing a fist full of her beautiful hair and kissing her.
He pulled away after a moment grinning from ear to ear.
He was far too lucky to have met his Kate.
She shoved him and he laughed all the more, his smile increasing as she called him lame.
"I may be lame, but I am your sexy lame man. Your stuck with me Katie." He shook his head as her nose wrinkled again. He leaned forward and kissed that nose.
Garrett rolled his eyes as she corrected him, it was their future child. Alright then not their child their future child. Their idea for the future, his motivation to keep going with this diet only increased as Kate wanted a child. What his Kate wanted, his Kate got.
As Kate assured him he was the only one she wanted to touch her, he shook his head slightly angry with him self for upsetting her.
"No, I am sorry Kate. That ball, their are just too many reasons for Aro to put his hands on you." Garrett's voice got low as his anger at the idea grew. It disgusted him. The idea of Aro touching his Kate. Reading all of his Kate's thoughts.
The ball was something he would be worried about. He wouldn't let Kate out of his sight for a second.
