Runaway (TAG: Any Wolf/Cullen)

It was early morning, about 7:30am or 8:00am. Most kids living here in Forks, were still at home fast asleep, of course they had done way to much 'partying' last night, so that was expected. Today being a Saturday and all, most teenagers were recovering from the night before. It looked as if the whole town was empty, not a single person on the roads. The sun was hidden behind the clouds, but it was a relatively nice day out for forks.

So when a small girl, looking to be about 10 or so, pulled open the large doors to Forks library, she was not expecting to see a few older people scanning the shelves of books. Looks like she was not the only one up at this hour. The librarians were a little shocked to see such a girl, with out a parent, but it was Forks after all. Nothing 'bad' happen in this small town.

Renesmee was not in school, well the story was she was home schooled... seeing as she grew so fast, she was kept at home really. People were not allowed to see her, not until she reached her full growth, so a few more years to go. People would talk if they saw Bella with a baby one day and a toddler the next. Renesmee was aware of this rule, but she just wanted some new books to read. She had already read the massive amounts of books her father owned... she was just ready for something new. Also she wanted to get out of the house. She had awoken up early this morning, and her parents were no where to be found. She was in fact on her way to the main house, but she got distracted, and off to the town of forks she ran. (Well running in the forest, making sure she was hidden, she knew the rules.)

Renesmee like reading. She like her parents read for fun, shocker! Unlike most of her mental peers she finds enjoyment out of reading a good book. So every morning as soon as she woke up, she would grab the closest book and just read until she was told otherwise. It was a little hard for her to read when she was at the main house, seeing as her family never really slept and it could get a little loud in there, and Renesmee was easy distracted she got that trait from her father. Also her parents deserved some more alone time. So she figured she would find her way to the library, the one she herd so much about. Renesmee was a very smart girl, so figuring out how to get there was not very hard. Yeah it was a very long walk... But Renesmee ran part of the way... and if her parents found out she might be locked away forever. Like her father she was fast... faster then any human, yet slower then most vampires.

Renesmee had a large smile on her little face as she saw the rows and rows of books. Her eyes just lit up with excitement. Where could she start? There were so many books... With a little sigh she went right for the first shelve of books, and pulled the first one, it was a child's books. lame! So she placed it back a little disappointed. Well she would try something more toward the back. She figured maybe the reading level got higher the further back you went? So she walked down a few isles and pulled a book of the shelf, it look promising, so she oped to a random page and read a few lines, it looks alright.

Yeah she knew she would get into some big trouble later, but it was worth it, she thought to herself. This place was AMAZING! She has never seen so many books in once place before. Her family's collection was close yes, but still. Renesmee curled up in a little ball in the back of the library with the very book she picked up. She was pretty much hidden from the people here, no one would see her, unless they looked.

Renesmee was in a ten year olds little body, so she could fit in small places. She sat between two shelf's reading. Maybe she would get in less trouble if no one really saw her? So far she was doing well, only one or maybe two librarians saw her, but they did not look as if they knew who she was. So that was good.

Renesmee knew what her parents would say. it would be something like, Nessie, you know better! I cannot believe you would do such a thing. Put our family in danger like that... blah blah blah. Well she was tired of it. She was part human, so why not? Yeah she grew fast, but that was just it. she grew too fast! No human would catch that. no one would make the connection... seeing as she was never really out before. So no one knew her. It was like she was a random child visiting... She knew how to dumb herself down anyway. She could talk like a ten year old. Or well she would try to act like the young people she saw on TV. Shoot, if this be the only time she leaves the house, so be it. No one would remember her, and when she was fully grown, surly no one would make the connection! Stupid humans and all... Well okay so they were not so much stupid, they just did not pay attention to things like that.

Renesmee tried to shake the thought from her mind before beginning to read her new book. It was rather odd, but a book is a book, no matter what it was. It was new and exciting, so why not. there were very few pictures in this book, and the text was small, just how she liked it. Turned out she picked up a book all about the world and different cultures. Perfect! She had always wanted to travel the world, but she knew her parents could not go out in the sunlight, so she was stuck here in Forks, where the sun liked to hide behind the clouds. Oh well. That's life. Maybe, Jacob would take her when she was fully grown. Maybe Jacob could show her the world? Maybe... just maybe.

Bella stood in the large living room in the Cullens main house. She's been there since about 5:30AM when her and Edward had finished spending 'alone time' together. Knowing Renesmee would still be sleeping for sometime, she figured she'd come hang out with the rest of the family. She shot a quick smirk to Edward, who stood across the room, then glanced at the clock which read '8:46 AM'. She thought for a moment, then decided that Renesmee would more then likely be awake by now. "I'm going to get Nessie." She said, more to the rest of the family then Edward; She'd ben practicing more with taking down her sheild so her husband could read her thoughts and did so just moments before announcing that she was leaving, so she was sure that he already knew her plan.

She made her way for the door then began running at full spead to jump over the river. Today was the perfect weather for her. No sun but no rain. . . Today's going to be a good day. She thought. She smiled at the feeling or the wind blowing through her hair as she ran; Ever since she became a vampire, running has become one of her favorite passtimes.

Bella slowed as she approched the steps of the small cottage that her and her small family lived in. She made her way through the front door and to her daughters bedroom. When she found she wasn't there she turned to the (unused) kitchen. . . . the bathroom. . . . Her and Edwards room. . . . But Renesmee was no where to be found and Bella began to panic.

"Renesmee!!" She shouted through the house. No answer. Quickly she ran out of the cottage and search its perimeter, shouting her daughters name and again, no reply. "Renesmee! . . . Renesmee!!" -- Nothing.

Her mind went wild with thought. What if it was the Voltri?.. But what reason would they have to kidnap her?.. What if it was some other vampire we upset somehow and never knew it?.. If Jacobs behind this, I swear I'll kill him!! She thought as she ran through the woods searching for her daughter.

Renesmee was clueless to what she was doing to her mother. No note, no nothing. She had just left. She was planning on going to the main house to look for her parent's but she got distracted. Something spooked her, and she just ran off to the town. And once she got fur enought away from her home, she came across Jacobs scent, and she went to follow that. But like her father she was no good at it, and somehow, she ended up here at the Library. That's not what she was planning on doing. She went looking for her Jacob. She never dreamed of finding such a place. If she knew the library existed, she would have left a note, taken her cell something. But she honestly left the house thinking she was going to the main house. But no, she went off looking for her Jacob and ended up sitting in a back corner of the library. Book in hand.

She was just so lost in her 'worlds' book. Just looking at some pictures of places she has never seen, and never would. She was amazed at how humans lived in different place's how they ate different foods. How they had different clothing, ect. She was just in shock her little mind absorbing every little word of this large old book. Renesmee looked up, for a second. She had an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach, but she could not figure out what it was, or why it was there. The fact that no one knew where she was did not cross her mind. She did not see herself as doing anytihng too wrong. She just went out to get some books. It was all just a mess. Renesmee having a larger mind she could think of so many things at once, which caused her a little trouble. she got into things and ran off sometimes, but she was still a child, a child who got distracted, that's all. But none of that mattered, she just wanted to learn more about the world and she could do that here.

She never realized what she was doing. She never figured out that being out here was bad. That she was still growing, that she looked so much like Edward and Bella, yet she was so old, so she could not have been their child. The humans would talk, which would make them move at some point. She never figured her mother or father would come looking for her, only adding that much more supervision into the mix. For if you see Renamees mother and herself sanding side by side, there is no mistake that Renesmee is Bella's baby. It's the same way with Edward. This was going to be interesting.

Jacob was going to surprise Nessie with his presence this morning. So, he took off through the woods in his wolf form towards their house. He left his house at 7:00 a.m. After running through the forest for a couple hours, he heard someone yelling Nessie's real name, Renessmee. Jake took off at the speed of light for the voice which he recognized as Bella's after getting closer to it. Upon finding Bella, Jake started running right next to her.

Wishing that he could do what he does with his pack, he just looked at her, puzzlement shown all over his face. Where is Nessie? Did someone hurt her? Did she runaway? Why are you just running through the forest and not driving through Forks? Where are the rest of your family? But, of course that wouldn't get to Bella, she couldn't read minds like Edward could. She wasn't apart of Jake's pack so that they could talk to each other in their heads. Jake wasn't going to turn into a human, he wouldn't be able to match the speed of a vampire that way.

Bella turned and began running tward the house, now with Jacob at her side. Although Jacob couldn't speak to her at the moment, nor could she read his mind, she knew he was wondering what was going on. "Well at least now I know shes not with you. But I think I'd rather that, then this." She said and leaped over the river. "I came to get Renessemee this morning"..She went on to explain. "and she was gone." She stoped abruptly and spun around to look at her wolf bestfriend. "Jake, we have to find her. If anyone figures out--" Her voice cracked and she trailed off. She knew if she could cry, the hot tears would be streaming down her cheaks as she spoke.

Bella knew how much her daughter looked just like her and Edward. And she knew that if anyone in Forks took a long enough glance at Nessie, they would instantly make the conection; Which, in a normal, more human-like life, that would'nt be any problem and people would love to meet the happy newlyweds, new baby. But when the child appears to be around ten years old when her parents are only 17 and 19. . . Well people will talk, to say the very least.

And even worse, if people started to suspect anything about the Cullens, they would all have to leave Washington before the accusations got to out of hand. Which ment Bella would be leaving her father, Renesmee would be leaving her Jacob and Bella, Edward, Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmette would all have to start over again as freshmen in high school. Something they've done about a hundered times, but Bella only once; as a human. Bella shuddered at the thought.

Renesmee flipped the pages of the book, at super speed. Reading the page easily, and rather quickly, so engrossed in the book she did not even realize the time, or anything. Her new worlds book was all she could think about. That is until she flipped the page, and that was it. The last page. Renesmee finished it within a second, maybe to, before she closed the book, looking rather upset. "Its over?" Renesmee whispered to herself, in a high pitched soft little voice. Renesmee closed the book before she walked down the isle, hugging the book, finding the very spot she took the book from in the first place. She put it back quickly, before looking at the titles of other books. She walked before she stopped, more in the children's/young adult section now. This time a serise of 5 books caught her attention. Book's all looked the same, only different color's. Renesmee figured they were together, so this time she grabbed the book's, and carried them back to her little nook, her little corner. She placed the books down, good thing no one saw her, for she held a lot of book's more then one little girl could, or should be able to hold. She placed the little stack of books right next to her little corner, before she climbed back into the nook, and grabbed the first red book. She opened it and off she read. Flipping through the pages. This book too her to a magical world, with a boy by the name of Harry Potter leading her way. Wow. She was focused, wondering if Witches and Wizards really did exist. She hoped so, because they sounded pretty cool.

As soon as Jake went over the river, right next to Bella, the smell hit him hard. Nessie. Jake said his tail staring to wag. He gave a little book and took off, smelling her sent. Of course he had his clothes tied around his ankle, so if he had to go into a city he could just change back real fast. Jake looked over his shoulder to see if Bella was following him or not. It wouldn't matter. He was going to surprise his little Nessie no matter what the consequences.

Turning with every turn that Nessie took, Jake came to the edge of the forest. He quickly changed back and dressed. Then, he looked around where he was standing for a little trail, he knew there was one right around where he was standing. Upon seeing it, he ran over there. When he cam out of the forest, his nose still had Nessie's scent in it. Even though he was now a human, he still could hear and smell like a wolf. "Nessie, where could you be?" He said in a low whisper. Jake turned and started following Nessie's scent again, this time, standing on two legs.

The sent hit Bella at the exact same time. She took off next to Jacob following Nessies sent through the woods. Though she was a bit afraid of where the sent might lead her, she felt a bit a hope for the first time since she noticed her daughter was missing. But it also made her mind go wild again and she thanked god for the fact that Jake could only read the minds of his fellow pack mates.

She wondered why Renesmee would come this way and worse, why would she come this way alone? . . But what if she wasn't alone? . . What if someone forced her to come this way? . . Should she have gone back and got Edward first? . . What if this turned into a fight? . . But who would have taken her? . . Nessie knew better then to go off on her own, she would never put her and the family in danger. Then Bella thought back to when her father had put his whole family in danger by pursuing a relationship with a human. . Nessie was very much like her father. She cursed the fact that Alice wouldn't have been able to see this coming.

Bella stopped for a moment to smell a tree, that she geussed Nessie had leaned on, for one reason or another. When they reached the edge of the forest and Jake phased back, she looked around a bit before suggesting, "Lets follow her sent from here, she couldn't have gone to much farther."

She lead the way through town attempting to keep away from anyone she might know. The last thing she need now was to run into someone like Mike Newton. Finally the sent led them to a small, brick building with a sign that said 'Forks Library'. "Nessie. . ." She said angerly through clentched teeth and made her way for the door.

Little did Renesmee know, her angry mother, and her one true love, Thought he was more of a brother now, were just outside the door. Renesmee was way too lost in this imaginary world, of witches, wizards and what not. She was engrossed in the book, she wanted so badly to be in the book. But as she read, the book just got that much darker, and by the last book, she was pretty much grateful that she was not going to Hogwarts. It was almost too scary for her, thought she would never admit it to anyone. So She flipped through the last few pages, reading it carefully, laughing a little at the names chosen for the kiddos. She must say she liked the book's but off to the next one. So quickly she put the book's back, right were she got them before. She ran her hands across the binds of each and every book she passed, looking for another one that might stand out, and what she found was a book on vampires. Well this would be interesting, she thought. So she took a few of the book's back to her little nook, in the back of the library, in between two shelves and opened the first book. In the 10 or so minutes she's been her, she has read bout 8 books. It had to be some kind of record. And she was already starting on book 9. Though she did not like this book so far. The first sentience, made Vampires out to be bad people. Renesmee was not a bad person, nor was her uncle's, aunt's grandparents or parents for that matter. Who ever wrote this book, clear never meet a vampire. It upset Renesmee greatly, and it showed on her little face. Where was her mother when she need her?

Jake heard Bella say Nessie's name, and he instantly tensed. He would not let Bella's anger get out of hand. The scent lead them straight to a brick building. Jake automatically assumed it was a library. Nessie loved books and she would come here and read and read forever if she could. He waited eagerly for Bella to catch up. He had something to say to her first.

"I don't think it would be a good idea for you to go in. If someone really looked at you and Nessie, they could see a resemblance. If they saw me with her they would just think I was baby-sitting her. let me go in and get her. We will meet you on one of the paths in the forest." Jake didn't care if Bella came or not. He didn't care if she listened to him. Jake oopened the library doors and walked in.
