It was the worse idea in the history of bad ideas.
How could Sam allow things to come to THIS!
Leah was in an odd mix of emotions. Anger, because that one was almost her normal emotion now days, but also because of the events. Guilt came before the anger. This was her fault, and Jacob had saved her ass. Gratefulness was last, because there was at lest a doctor out there who could help, but that one didn't really count in her mind because the anger at the only doctor they could trust being a leech was greater.
Earlier they had fought a vampire army. They had been good, working as a team, and following Sam's orders. Almost flawless. . . . Until Leah got to bold, and Jacob had saved her, causing him self to get crushed int he process. Leah had heard a few of the thoughts, and when they were all human, she had seen the looks shot her way.
Her fault.
It was raining now, and Leah was standing out side of the Black's house, hearing all to well everything going on inside. Jake's pain, the doctor's clam voice. She wasn't going to leave until she knew Jake was safe from the vampires. Everyone seemed to suddenly trust the Cullens, especially the gentle leader, but Leah wasn't going to let her pack down twice in a day.
She stood in the rain, just listening to the going ons inside the Black's house. When she heard someone come out side, she looked up. She knew here, she was dangerous ground, if she lost her temper, Jake would lose a doctor, and she could cause a war to start up again. Right now, things looked oddly peaceful for their future. She also knew, the doctor was on dangerous ground as well. He was in werewolf's home, out numbered, and seemingly alone. Leah wondered if he felt nerves being here, or was as calm as he always looked.

Today had been a difficult day.
After the on going fight with the newborns, making sure everyone was alright, Carlisle almost was exhausted. Of course, that was inhumanly possible. He was a little sore though, the fight had been extremely violent. Violence was something that he was strongly against, and it was only the last circumstance they he would ever fight. He had done it to protect his family, naturally, and Bella. He truly did love Bella like she was his own daughter, and was happy that Edward had found a soul mate after nearly a century of being alone.
Of course, Carlisle could under stand his pain completely. He had gone nearly three whole centuries without his precious Esme, whom he loved so dearly. He would have died for her, or anyone else in his family out on the battle ground that night. He knew that he was much too compassionate for his own good, and didn't mind it at all. He was a doctor, so he couldn't exactly be cruel or heartless like some nomadic vampires had been. Like Victoria had been. He knew, though, if someone killed Esme he'd have the same reaction.
Which was why he put up with the stench of wet dog as he treated Jacob Black.
Truly, Carlisle knew he didn't smell to great to any of the wolves out there. They were just too worried about their pack member, who should have been the alpha, to even care about his 'sickeningly sweet' scent. In his opinion, they smelt quite similar to a dog that had just jumped in a pool or something like that. He didn't notice it as much as he didn't notice the scent of blood in the hospital, but he ignored it mainly as it worked over. He examined some of the things that had been broken. It'd take up to a week (?) to heal at max, but it would heal.
Keeping cool and collected as always, Carlisle gave a nod to the wolves that had been waiting for him to treat him. He knew they were probably not happy about him being on their land, so he left with his black bag in hand. He looked around his settings outside, and wasn't surprised to find Leah standing their. He approached her at a human pace, but made sure to keep a few feet off. He didn't want to anger her, and spoke in a neutrel tone. "Leah, Jacob is going to be fine. You already know that it was foolish of you to do what you did, but you should also know that your pack isn't going to hold that against you."

Was Dr. Dead-Not-Sleeping, really being bold enough to speak to her, much less give her comforting advice? Was he a doctor, or a psychologist? Leah closed her eyes but only so he wouldn't see them roll. Her hands shook but that was an almost natural state for her. Bitter, angry all the time. Life was so unfair, and she had cause to much damaged. Some of her was not her fault, but some of it, she didn with pleasure. Still, damage was damage. "I think I know my pack, allot better then you." The teenage boys would rip into her for being careless, she knew it. Jacob had even thought about it, when they were dragging his furry but to the house. Leah wanted to know how Jacob was but it took so much effort to open her mouth and force the words out. "What's the verdict?" She asked about Jacob.
Good thing that leech didn't bite him, that would have added another death on her plate. Another life gone due to her.
