Pics of the Volturi!

You’ll have to buy the September 7th issue of People Magazine, as they have some exclusive new pics of the Volturi.

Here we see Jane looking fab with red eyes with Edward in tow, Demetri clenching Alice’s throat and Aro with Caius and Alec in the throne room.

In the article, New Moon director Chris Weitz notes:

I think they’re magnificently scary and at the same time very elegant, so that’s how I wanted to portray them onscreen. I wanted to steer clear of any clichés-Dracula’s castle sort of stuff. When you see their lair, it’s actually quite classically beautiful.

With this released maybe Summit will finally release some more pics of the Volturi. It seems we always get better pics of Jane than any of the other Volturi.

This one looks to be slightly out of place with the books, but still good! When I saw them on nmm.org I thought 'I have to show Aro!' and then look here and you've bet me once again! I hope better HQ photos of these are let out soon!!

I love the red eyes in some shoots. The new HQ photos on nmm.org are awesome! They look just like the ones Aro posted but are much clearer!

On em.org there is a new Seth Clearwater photo! He is so cute in his little boy way. It will such if they make him cut his hair, it fits his little boy self.

Marucs looks almost nothing like I thought he would. I have seen the actor in other things, and I loved him but for some reason with the curly hair and overly piled on robes I just think he looks out of place. Once I see more of him, I might change my mind. I has hesitant on Aro but the more I see of him the more I think it fits him. On MSN the person who play Aro on this site made a good point; Where is Aro's Volturi robe? In the HQ pics, I noticed he didn't have it on either.

I just received the following announcement from Atlantic Records (the record label that produced the Twilight Soundtrack):

The first single has officially been confirmed for the New Moon Soundtrack! Death Cab for Cutie has written an exclusive song for the movie entitled 'Meet Me On the Equinox.' Below is a statement from the band about the song:

"We are very excited to be a part of this amazing series of novels set in our own backyard. It just seemed a perfect synergy that a band from the Northwest would create a song for a series of novels set in the Northwest. We wrote 'Meet Me On the Equinox' to reflect the celestial themes and motifs that run throughout the Twilight series and we wanted to capture that desperate feeling of endings and beginnings that so strongly affect the main characters. 'New Moon' Actor Went Too Far With Kristen Stewart
'Wolf Pack' members describe injury,
aggressive confrontation with Kristen Stewart.

Meraz initially took the stage wearing black sunglasses to conceal an injury received during mixed-martial-arts training for an "Eclipse" fight scene he'll have with Kellan Lutz. "In theory it's a good idea, but I got my eyes beat up," he said. "So they're kind of red. I'm being insecure."

They shared several funny anecdotes from filming "New Moon," including Meraz's embarrassing moment with Kristen Stewart.

"I decided, all right, the Wolf Pack stay up all night looking for who's killing people on the res, so we don't sleep very much. So I thought it would be a great idea if I stayed up for 10 days straight." What should have been a simple scene — a confrontation between Bella (Stewart) and the Wolf Pack — became, in Meraz's mind, his "Brando moment." Wanting to try something different, the actor played the scene overly aggressive: screaming, grabbing Stewart by the throat, hurtling his line at her.

"[Director] Chris Weitz comes off-set like, 'Yeah, I like the energy Alex, but just take it down a little,' " Spencer chimed in: "Meanwhile the producers are freaking out back there."

" 'Cause nobody touches Kristen Stewart," joked Meraz.

Spencer and Meraz also reminisced about the cliff-diving scene, a stunt they performed themselves, though for Spencer, his favorite scene was kissing onscreen love Emily (played by Tinsel Korey). "It was a lot of takes," Spencer said. "It's a hard job."

Aro always beats me! (I know it's not a competition)

Here are my favorite scenes from the trailer:

Firstly, there were times in the first move were Kristin's hair seemed to bother me, I liked it but there were some parts were you could tell it wasn't her real hair, so when I saw her new style I was thrilled! That being said, how dramatic is her face here? I loved this shot for the dramatics's of it all.

I have thread many ideas on -why- Felix and Edward are fighting but I love how they have mystery to the movie. I have read the book how many times? I was ready to go in and know everything that would happen but now I don't! I have to wait and wonder! Chris W. knows how to please us fans! (How mad will Aro be that his steps got broken?)


Because I do so love Billy Burke and Charlie Swan!
He was my favorite in the 1st movie, and I can't wait for more of him!

My favorite pic is right before Aro snaps that guy's neck! He looks so calm I love it!

Oh! And I wanted to pointed out the man on Aro's left in the back. I think that is Carlisle it looks a lot like him. Does anyone else agree? I bet Carlisle disapproves of what Aro is about to do. I am so very curious why Aro killing that man. Maybe a vampire that broke the rules? But I think I read on NMM.org it was a human.

Aro might be upset having to rebuild all those steps! Of course Edward shouldn't have irritated them. I think that's what happen? In the trailer it had Edward attacking Felix and then it showed Felix attacking Ed. Maybe?

I've been trying to figure out who that is behind Charlie. It looks like red hair maybe? Victoria? Though I don't think she interacted with him in NM did she? Of course we don't really know what happen when Charlie went out hunting for the 'bear' or 'big wolves' I think that's what they thought it was at first.

I think it's Victoria. I think she will try to get close but the wolves will move to stop her and they will have to back off quickly in order to not be seen by humans . . . .or Charlie see's some big wolves.

I just LOVE this pic! They looks so proper. I wonder what they are looking at. Leah said they may looking over Volterra like in the painting.

I get excited when more pics of the Volturi are released. There is also a new pic of Caius and one of Jane and Alec. One of what looks like Aro kissing Alice's hand with Edward being held back. They have much more than the Volturi, but that's what I'm mostly interested in.

I wonder if it's the same scene as Itunes gave me today? It was Paul and Jacob turning into a wolf and about to fight. Bella smacks Paul after he laughs at her, and Jared laughs or something behind them, Sam tried to hold Paul back but, sadly we all know Paul. (Loves her Paul).
