Missing Jacob

Rachael was stalling. She could have gone on home, but it was early yet and she wasn't ready. She had just finished school at WSU and was supposed to be driving home for the first time in over three years. She had not planned to come home this early but Chief Swan had called her, telling her Jacob had been missing. She had seen his number on the caller ID before, but had ignored it thinking it was a wrong number. When she had answered she got a shock! Jacob had been missing for a few weeks!

Frighten she had called her father who had brushed it off, and told her not to worry. That he 'knew' Jacob was fine. Rachael had decided to come home a few weeks early to see for her self. Still . . . .

She had avoided La Push for a reason. Rachael was walking up the ailes when she saw a familiar looking face. Rachael felt as if she might knew then girl, but couldn't place the face, or give her a name. She didn't even remember were she would have meet her but this close to home it wasn't hard to guess. Rachael stared at her for a moment, before walking closer. "Please pardon me, but, I think I might know you, but I am not sure."
