Storming into the house Emily her cheeks bright with anger and betrayal went to find Sam. He was in his study when she found him. She knocked open the door and paced in front of it shaking with anger, she held her stomach in her hands as she did so. "SAM! How could you not tell me!" She shrieked, "I'm on the way to get dresses for our wedding and suddenly Ray tells me Leah is LEAVING TOWN FOREVER!" Emily still clinging to her anger, held back her tears as the news hit her again like a bag of bricks. "My Maid of Honor, my cousin, my friend, my sister, my OTHER HALF!" Emily yelled she was about to start crying and that wouldn't do, she needed to go to the source for although she was majorly angry with Sam. She was WICKED pissed off at Leah. Stopping for nothing even as she was sure Sam was following her, Emily hopped into her Bug and drove to Leah's place. She parked at an angle barely stopping to turn off the car she raced forward and pounded her fist against the door. "LEAH ANNABELLA CLEARWATER! I WANT TO TALK TO YOU RIGHT NOW!" Emily yelled at the top of her lungs. She waited fuming outside the Clearwater house, not caring who saw her acting like a crazy person at this point. She just NEEDED to talk to Leah. Although on the outside she was planning on ripping Leah apart, she was secretly horrified at the thought of losing Leah. Emily was about to go for the hidden key under the little rock next to the door when she heard movement from inside. She put on a glare that she hoped would stop Leah in her tracks, Emily didn't glare much, if at all. She liked to be in control of her anger but this time with her hormones all out of wack from the baby, she was a little insane.

The sound Emily hear from with in, wasn't Leah coming to the door, it was Leah falling off her bed and then refusing to get up. She could guess why Emily was here, she had told Sam a few days ago that she was leaving La Push and going away for a while. A long while. With her mother dating Chief Swan (UGH!) and Seth was planning on joining her. Seth seem to believe she needed his happiness to some crap.
Leah didn't move from the floor, just lay there on her belly with one hand under her head and what little blanket she had over it, waiting for Emily to go away. She was moving on and getting past things, the last thing she wanted was Emily tossing the wedding in her face. She had Sam, she needed to go be happy with him and leave her to her bitterness! Leah missed Emily like crazy, and still loved her more then she should for someone about to marry her ex-dream guy. But somethings she couldn't forget.

Sam was hard at work when he thought he herd a knock came at the door(though it was really just Emily walking to his study, darn hard wood floors). He was about to tell whoever it was to go away, but no such luck. She let herself in, and Sam turned to see Emily, more then upset, 100% heated. Sam looked uttly shocked. "Emily?!" He asked almost frighten at her anger. What had he done?! "Baby I--?" Sam began but Emily went on. "I'm sorry!" Sam said getting up and moving around his desk to go too her, but she took off. "Emily come on... Relax... you'll upset the baby!" Sam yelled after her. "No don't drive! Not while you upset!" he added as she jumped into the car it was much too late. Sam just phased and off he ran after the fast moving car. and within seconds he was in front of Leah's home. With out caring who the heck saw him he phased back, slipping on the cut off shorts he held in his mouth(no time to tie them to his leg), and ran to the door, just as Emily screamed for Leah.
Sam let out a sigh, placing a loving hand on Emily's shoulder. "Emily please!" Sam said trying to get to her. "Please calm down.. Your going to hurt yourself!" Sam said in more of a whisper, looking more freaked out then anything. He looked more worried, more freaked out, more out of his element. He was honest worried for her, freaked the hell out that she might hurt the baby with her anger. He did not know much about pregnancy, but he figured if she was this mad, the baby might just pop out as is. "Emily come on... count to ten something?!" He pleading with her, attempting to hold her, thought he was pretty sure she was going to throw him off. As Leah blatantly ignored her, or this is how Emily had made things out in her mind, and Sam tried to comfort her, Emily's rage grew to it's boiling point. "LEAH don't you dare ignore me!" Emily shrieked, she turned and glared at Sam as if to say 'If you don't back the Hell off I swear to God-" She had reached a point where almost anything Sam did would just piss her off all the more. She didn't care about hurting herself, she worried about the baby, was scared to death for that baby, but she gave a damn about herself. Emily knocked the little rock away with one foot and struggled to open the door with the key that lay hidden there. Her hands shook so badly it took her three tries. "Leah I am NOT going away. So you better get your ass down here before I come and find YOU." Emily was absolutely out of her mind. She was angry at Leah for not telling her to her face that she was leaving, she didn't care about the wedding but was Leah seriously just going to leave and not tell her? She was hurt and angry and scared. Leah was leaving and she would be out in the world, not safe and close where Emily could be sure Leah was still alive and well. It's not like she'd be getting phone calls or letter's from Leah, so her leaving took away all the interaction they had. All those insults and hurtful comments were at least something! Emily preferred that then silence, and the unknown. She stopped thinking of this and concentrated on the anger. She was pissed, she was going to freak the Hell out, or continue to any way.

Leah reached up and grabbed the pillow from the bed and put it over head head, but the sounds of the key in the lock made her groan. Emily was coming up and by the voice with her so was Sam. Great. Just want she wanted to top off her day . . . which had not even started yet! Come on guys! Leah pushed off from the floor and stood up. She was in PJs which amounted to boxers and a tank, and she wasn't about to change for their comfort. She was going to go down there, take the key away and lock the dead bolt before going back to bed and sleeping until her patrol later tonight.
Her hair stood up in random places, and her eyes were only half open as she went down the steps slowly, hoping they would go go away. She paused by the door, as Emily opened it, and she just glared at the intruders. "What?!" She snapped, as she reached over and pulled the key from Emily.

But not even a minute of him trying to calm her down he got a death look, and it freaked him the hell out. "Alright!" Sam said taking a step back, his hands help out in defeat. He looked at Emily for a moment, man the baby was killing his soon to be wife! FOR REAL! this was not Emily. Sam watched as she attempted to break into Leah's home. Sam was not okay with that, but he was not about to say anything. He was not about to help her break in, nor was he going to stop her, for she really was going to rip his head off. And Sam knew it too, So he had no choice but to step back and wait, wait for Emily to scream it all out, and pass out from being so tired. Sam would be there when she fell, but that's all he could do for her. Be there when she falls. That's all she would let him do anyway. Sam just stood there. "Hey-!" Sam was about to scold Leah for snatching the key from Emily's hand, but he stopped himself. He did not want to put more fuel in the fire. And Emily was on fire. Shoot he almost fears for the baby, and he really did not want to put the baby in danger. A second miscarriage would just KILL Emily, break her in more then one place. So he just stayed out of it. He stood there, saying nothing, no emotion(besides concern) on his face. Sam took a step behind Emily, standing in the door way, so Leah could not close it, Sam would break the door if she tried. Then she was fucked. but whatever. [/blockquote][/color] ((OOC::All credit goes to Aro from MP for making my posting layout, Signature, and Avatar!. What would I do with out him?!))

Emily for the briefest moment let her eyes fill with love for Sam, she didn't want him to run off cause she was acting less than her usual milk and honey self. She didn't want him to see her like this but there was no telling him to leave so he'd have to deal. She grew so filled with Rage at the sight of Leah looking all rumpled form sleep before her. "I bet you sleep like a baby, nothing phases you Leah." Emily growled. Sam had began to protest as Leah grabbed the key from Emily's hands. She didn't address that but suddenly realized how bad it would be for him to see this. Emily was expecting a full out war with Leah. He better not try to defend Emily, she was madder than she had ever been and was perfectly able to defend herself at the moment. "You should have moved it if you didn't want me here." Emily countered, "Your mom said I was welcome here when ever, shes my family too." Emily wound her hand into her long hair, not exactly pulling enough to cause her pain, just enough to keep her angry. "What?! What do you mean what? You know perfectly well why I'm here!" Emily's voice grew very cold, this was her normal reaction when she was angry, all that yelling wasn't like her at all. "What! Don't what me Leah! If you wanted to stay all nice and cozy in your bed you should have stepped the Hell up and told me. TO. MY. FACE. That you were leaving." Emily had been pacing in a short angry line but stopped and looked at Leah now. There was still only complete vexation coloring her face as of yet, she wouldn't let them see that she was just covering her intense anguish that she wouldn't see Leah for who knew how long. "I cannot believe you Leah! What were you just going to mail me a post card from God knows where saying 'Not coming back. Fuck you Emily.' or would you even allow me that courtesy?" Emily had never said that word in her whole life, not to someone not about a situation, and the word seemed so harsh on her lips. Thats exactly what she wanted however and she would not apologize for using it.

Leah stood there as Emily and Sam burst into her home and wished she had put on some clothes. For some reason, when around these two she always felt naked. Being in her PJs shorts and a tank made her feel very naked. "I bet you sleep like a baby, nothing phases you Leah." When people aren't banging on my door, sure. "You should have moved it if you didn't want me here." Just give me time. "Your mom said I was welcome here when ever, shes my family too." Not to self-have talk with Mom. "What?! What do you mean what? You know perfectly well why I'm here! What! Don't what me Leah! If you wanted to stay all nice and cozy in your bed you should have stepped the Hell up and told me. TO. MY. FACE. That you were leaving." Leah shot a quick annoyed glance at Sam, assuming he was the one who told Emily about this whole thing. Leah had planned on talking to Emily, she even had told Sam she planned to do so when she told him she was leaving but just had gotten the time (Nor courage) to tell Em her self. EMILY! Not Em. Em had been her sister, Emily was Sam's . . . . hmmmm. . . . .
"I cannot believe you Leah! What were you just going to mail me a post card from God knows where saying 'Not coming back. Fuck you Emily.' or would you even allow me that courtesy?" Leah's eye brows raised when Emily talked about the postcard, and the look on Leah's face suggested she was considering doing it. Then she looked down at Sam's feet which blocked her from evicting them both and gave a deep sigh. "Yeah, I guess we are sort of past starting out conversations with the pleasantries." She said sarcastically as if she had not really heard a thing Emily had said before turning to walk deeper in the house.
Not far from the door was a couch, and over that was a pair of jeans, still wet from being in the wash, and Leah grabbed them and sat on the arm of the couch to put them on. Then she sat there and looked back at them. "What do you want me to say, Emily?" She wasn't about to defend her self. She had done nothing wrong, at lest not this time.
When she had meet Sam on the beach that day, she had told him she planned to see Emily, maybe even lie to Emily and pretend things were ok, or getting there before leaving town.
{Who jumped the gun and told Em, again? Rachael?}

Sam was trying not to pay too much attention to what Emily was saying, for he did not want to get upset. It was not his place to stand up for Emily, not here not now. this was Emily's fight. This was something Emily had to be able to handle. Sam also did not want to double team Leah, that was unfair to her. And he already hurt her so bad, hurting her more would only hurt him. So he knew he needed to back the heck off. Though when Emily threw out the F bomb. Sam was SHOCKED! his mouth hung open for just a moment, as he just looked at his love. Wow. she was really upset. Sam was almost frighten with her. He had to wonder, if he put her up to this in some way. Of course it was his fault, for breaking Leah's heart, and if he never did that, Emily never would have been mad like this. But there was nothing he could do about that now. Sam was just at a lost. Though when Leah just walked away Sam shook his head, that was not the right thing to do. That would only make Emily that much more pissed off. which was not at all good for the baby. Sam let out a sigh just watching Emily. Waiting for something horrible to happen. He could almost hear her heart beating double time, which hid the tinny baby's heart beat from being herd. Seeing as it was beating as fast as the babies. So Leah never would notice. then again, Sam was so in tuned with Emily, he could hear everything. So Jacob might not have been able to pick up how fast she was breathing, but Sam could from across the room, it must have been part of the imprinting, but whatever. Sam was still worried for her, and the baby. But more her then the baby. (then again if anything happened to the baby, Emily might just kill herself. No way could Emily live through another lost. Though she was strong, Sam was not sure she was that strong.) [/blockquote][/color] ((OOC::All credit goes to Aro from MP for making my posting layout, Signature, and Avatar!. "Don't look at him! He's not a part of this." This only provoked Emily all the more. Leah hadn't even said anything yet. Emily didn't bitch people out often- well ever really and it was beginning to annoy her that for once she had the nerve to fight back and Leah wasn't playing along. Emily's face grew hard as she saw the look on Leah's face. "Am I just giving you ideas now Leah?" Emily spoke through her teeth. She was getting to the point where she was going to go insane if Leah didn't say something already! "I can read your face Leah, don't think I haven't forgotten you." Emily paused taking a breath and looking away for a moment, not a good idea to think on the past, she had to stay angry. Leah's words helped a lot. "What would you like to hear? Hey, Leah how are you? Heard your leaving town from the freaking grape vine. kind of wish you had the decency to tell me yourself but oh well there must have been some good reason why, I mean there was that NAP you needed to take and everything." Emily spat leaning on the door frame with her arms crossed for a moment as Leah went toward the couch. She remembered when they were younger getting yelled at for jumping on that very couch. She bit her lip and focused on now. "It's not something I want you to say to me now. I wanted you to tell me yourself, before you left and didn't return for who knows how long! Why the Hell would you tell me last Leah? How come everyone seems to know this but me?" Emily's voice was cold but a hint of her hidden sorrow leaked through at the end of her question and she had to look away. Now she was angry with herself. Way did she care so much? It wasn't like Leah was her sister any longer. LIE that was a lie, she was no matter how much Em wished she could shut Leah out, she couldn't. "Why are you acting so calm! Don't you care at all? Why wouldn't you fight back? You've always had such ~lovely~ comments for me and now what? You've got nothing to say? Am I just not worth the time? Obviously not, I mean you couldn't even take the time to tell me." Emily slowly, so as not to freak Sam out, sank to a seated position on the floor, her back leaning against the door frame. "Why don't you tell me now so I can pretend to act surprised and try to forget that you thought so highly of me as to 'forget' to tell me you were leaving." Emily hissed She was running out of anger, she needed Leah to fuel the fire, otherwise Emily might just have nothing left but her miserable love for Leah. She didn't want to show it and she was pretty freaking sure Leah wouldn't want to see it.
{Hmmm I cannot seem to remember my mind must be slipping. It's a bad idea to try and hide things from Em. Ha ha ha}

"Don't look at him! He's not a part of this." Fine! Leah turned her face to shoot the same glare as she had for Sam at Emily. Wasn't there a phrase that fit this? Something about careful wishes? "What would you like to hear? Hey, Leah how are you? Heard your leaving town from the freaking grape vine. kind of wish you had the decency to tell me yourself but oh well there must have been some good reason why, I mean there was that NAP you needed to take and everything." Yeah, cause running around the woods for ten hours a day was totally MY idea! "Why don't you tell me now so I can pretend to act surprised and try to forget that you thought so highly of me as to 'forget' to tell me you were leaving." Be careful what you wish for! . . . .OH! There was my quote from a moment ago! Leah gave a short chuckle at her thought then dropped her smile as laughing at this point was going to get her ass kicked by Emily's guard dog behind her.
Why was Sam here? Sue Clearwater might have told Emily she was welcome any time but Leah was willing to bet that invite did not extend to Sam on a normal bases. Then again, everyone eventually turned evil and betrayed her so why not her own mother. "Fine." Leah said in a calm but very slightly annoyed tone, as if Emily had asked her to take out the trash in the middle of a good movie rather then spill her guts.
"Emily," Leah stood up and faced Emily, looking her dead in the eyes. "I am leaving town, and I am not coming back. After you storm out of here in a huff, I am going back to bed. Then after a few hours, I will get up, shower while thinking of Jared Padalecki, then get out, dry off and dress in something simi clean. After that I might eat something and then go back to patrolling the woods so you sleep safe in your FRIGGIN' BED TONIGHT! Do you want me to continue to clear my every move with you?"

Emily smiled as Leah glared at her, she felt relieved. The smile was one that Emily had never really used in anger before. It was evil and satisfied like a hungry little devil just beginning to be fed. Emily's eyes narrowed as Leah laughed at her. "Don't hold back on my account, Leah Annabella Clearwater." She didn't know why she kept insisting on using her full name, but it made her feel better for some reason. Then Leah agreed, just like that, to talk to her. Although it wasn't what Emily was expecting...that was for sure. Leah stood and faced Emily, Emily being shorter than Leah on a normal basis let alone the fact that Emily was sitting on the ground and had to look up at her made her intensify her glare to make up for the height difference. As Leah said it looking directly into Emily's eyes she felt it like a knife from her chest was being pushing in just a little bit further with each word. The knife was poisoned but slow at killing the person, Emily could feel the beginning affects start to take hold. Emily's eyes began to fill with tears but she refused to look away from Leah's eyes, to do so would be to lose. She rolled her eyes at Leah's assumption that she'd leave her 'in a huff' Emily was not herself she was so...so PISSED off. She wanted to leave here with the same satisfied smirk as before. However she knew that even if she did accomplish that, she'd break down and cry later, where Leah couldn't see. Emily's mouth curled into the slightest of smiles as Leah mentioned Jared Padalecki but it quickly became a tight angry line as Leah taunted her about 'protecting' her while she slept. "Sure you make it safe from me, you probably see a vampire with the most thirsty of expressions and send it right on it's way to me. Wouldn't that be fitting sucked dry because of your love for me. Oh but Leah darling who will protect me when you are gone?" Emily taunted right back. It was disturbing that Emily was like this, she wouldn't be like this with anyone else. Leah was special. She loved Leah more and didn't want her to know that and therefore covered it all with anger and vicious remarks. Her love for Leah was the most painful thing she'd had to live with, up until a couple months ago that was. Losing that baby had changed Emily. She was a little more afraid of losing the ones she loved now, life was so very temporary, even for a shape shifter who stayed young for years longer than humans. "If it kept me hearing from you then yes." Emily snarled. However this was slightly helpful, she had admitted to the fact that she would need to hear from Leah to keep from going insane with worry. She'd most likely be haunting Sue Clearwater for information, if Leah was not willing to send it to Emily directly, which she severely doubted, and wasn't holding her breath on. Her eyes still locked with Leah's fought to hide how she was feeling by tightening into angry slits. She was inside angry with her self. What had she done to Leah? She had destroyed her. It wasn't Emily's fault that Leah was a shape shifter, but she still blamed herself for Leah's need to leave La Push. Emily had invaded her home and took everything that should have been hers. Emily let out a frustrated growl and looked away from Leah. She couldn't hold eye contact, not with the way her thoughts had turned. "Aw Leah now was that so hard?" Emily asked her voice cold and angry again. "I don't see why you avoided this. It's obvious that you care little about telling me and now it's off your chest, you can run off and leave and never come back-" Em stopped for a moment unable to speak, "-meet new friends and start over." She ground her teeth together looked back at Leah and waited for her retort.

"Oh but Leah darling who will protect me when you are gone?" "Better hope your pack is as good as mine, I guess." She said under her breath not sure if Emily would hear her or not. Then again, Leah didn't care, she had meant it to annoy Sam more then she did Emily.
Leah was getting annoyed and in her annoyance her anger picked up slightly. Her fingers started shaking, then her hands shook very lightly. Trimmers really, but she balled them in fist and they stop as she was learning to control the small ones. Stop them. She couldn't stop the big ones from hitting. "I don't see why you avoided this. It's obvious that you care little about telling me and now it's off your chest, you can run off and leave and never come back-" Pause "-meet new friends and start over."
Oh Boo Friggin' who! Leah's voice betrayed none of her anger this time, it was calm, emotionless. "Emily. Jake made me his second in command, and at this moment, he is one of the few people I can call friend. When he leaves, with the Cullens, to stay with Ness I will leave with them. I don't want to live here any more. I want to move on with my life, stop phasing, and get a real life."
Leah's eyes looked down at the ground, and anger burned in them as she thought things in her head. This time her voice showed the anger, "Stop making every decision I make in my life about you!" She snapped out, her eyes coming up to glare at Emily again. "With in the matter of a few months, my life took more then a 360 degree turn! Everything I took for granted was gone! I've dealt with it my own damn way! It might not be a good way, but it was mine! You make this all about you! Leah you didn't tell me this! Leah your hurting me! Leah! Leah! Leah! Damn it Emily! I killed my father!" Her hands and arms were shaking now. "I couldn't go to his funeral because I had not learned to stop being a wolf! My baby brother is a wolf! My normal human friends, I can't see because I'm dangerous to them!"
"Yes! I want to move on! I don't want to stay here were everyone only knows me as Bitch Leah, or how everyone knows my life story! I want to be away from the pity looks! I want to get out of mother's life and let her move on! I want to get away from YOU were I can go full days with out remember every time we had sleep overs, or cakes or shopping trips! I want to get away from memories of--" She waved her hand at Sam "--and away from memories of my father!"
Leah opened her mouth to keep going but snapped it shut and turned away from Emily, staring at the wall while pinching the bridge of her noise. Control Leah! Get control!

Sam just stood there as Emily and Leah shot remarks back and fourth. Sam really wanted to stay out of it. This was not his fight. Emily and Leah needed to yell it out, then maybe they could become friends again, maybe. Maybe that's just what they needed. Sam stayed quiet even when Leah said something about his pack. Normally he would defined his pack, but again this was not his fight, so he should not get involved. so he just stood. watching. But when Leah's hands began to shake a little, he got nervous. At them mention of her father, Sam had to step in. "No one blames you for that Leah!" Sam spoke up, taking a little step so he was more in the convocation now. He was standing a little in-front of Emily. Leah's arms began to shake, and that was a very bad thing. Sam would just have to keep Emily from doing anything rash. "I'm sorry I made your life a living hell, but Really Leah.... You did not kill your father, you did not make your brother change. It's cruel what life dealt you..." Sam added, in a attempt to keep her calm, but he was not sure he was helping any. He hoped he was. He just hoped he could keep Emily under control. Hoped he could keep Emily from going over to Leah. Getting too close to Leah now, was dangerous. [/blockquote][/color] ((OOC::All credit goes to Aro from MP for making my posting layout, Signature, and Avatar!. What would I do with out him?!))

Sam's voice which had always been one of Leah's favorite parts of Sam, was so sure and strong that it made you want to believe it. Leah put one hand on the wall before he as he spoke in effort to hold it still and not have it shaking. She had not wanted to blurt all that out, but she had. She wanted to believe Sam, but she couldn't. Her father would be alive today had he not watched his baby girl rip apart and turn into a wolf. Seth might be human, had he not grown so mad at the wolf he saw near his father's body and exploded in tot he same form. Her fault in a way. The wolf in side her's fault.
[Sorry short but I wanted her to react to Sam]

Emily didn't say anything as Leah made a remark about 'her' pack. It wasn't like that to her. Yes they were separate packs but each one she loved the same and she wouldn't sit there and try to figure out who was 'better'. They all did something she never could, and that made them all incredibly brave and wonderful in Emily's eyes, even Leah. Emily's eyes trailed down to Leah's hands as they began to shake. She stayed where she was an eye brow raised in question. Emily was not stupid, she wasn't going to say anything too horrid as to make the other side of her face as clawed as the one. She knew that Leah if she wanted to, could kill her quite easily. However she knew that even in Leah's deepest hatred of her, she would never kill Emily. "Thats understandable." Emily allowed barely able to control her voice. It was better if she stayed quite, maybe a nod or something? This was beginning to become a rather bad road. If Leah continued to say things like this, Emily was royally screwed. She knew that Leah knew this. She had in the past used this skill to make Emily feel bad and do something for her. 'But Em, you know I can't go without you, and that would leave me here. Alone. Bored out of my mind.' and Emily would sigh and agree to be dragged along, most of the time glad she went at the end of such an adventure. Leah's angry outburst calmed Emily considerably. Maybe it was because she felt there could only be one person completely out of control at a time, but she took a deep breath and listened as Leah went off. She watched as Sam stepped in front of her and her eyes grew a little darker, before she heard what he had to say. She waited in silence until he had finished, she watched Leah brace herself against the wall and she knew she'd never get that image from her mind. It would be burned there and every time Leah was mentioned she'd think two little girls with long black hair, closer than close, Teenage smiles, anger and betrayal, and this Leah the one who hated what she was and blamed herself for her fathers death and her brothers phasing. "Leah it wasn't you who did this. Jacob phased in his house in front of his father too, Sam phased in front of me, they didn't turn out as badly as yours did~ Leah it's this blood. The blood that runs through all of us that did this to your dad. His blood. Fate dealt you the most horrid of cards Leah. I don't know why, but I think it's because your the only one who could handle all of this. You are the strongest person I know Leah. Time after time fate has struck you down and you've always gotten back up and slammed it back in it's face." She stopped and after covering her eyes with her hands for a moment sighed and got ready to tell Leah the truth. "I won't lie to you Leah. I am being selfish because I know you deserve more than this little town, you always have. I just don't want to let go." Shocked she stopped for a moment, had she just admitted that out loud? "Leah I'm never going to be able to stop loving you. No matter how much I may want to at times. No matter what you do, you could never kill it. Even I am powerless to stop it, no matter what I do it won't go away. So I will miss you. Even if you think of yourself as how you believe this town has labeled you, I know different. Your going to make a difference in the world Leah, touch others lives like you have mine and you will be happy. You deserve to be happy and I'm not going to try to hold you here. I may be acting selfish, but secretly I'm not." She didn't care if Leah became angry, or disgusted, or distant and annoyed, she had done it. She had finally told Leah how she felt. She didn't think they would part hugging and promising to write often, like they may have had none of this hideousness taken place, but they may part on good terms. Who knew anyway, maybe if this hadn't have happened something else would have split up her and Leah. She did finally realize what she had known and hidden from herself for all this time. Leah and Emily would never be the friends they used to be. Family, yes. The closet of friends, no. She may still think of Leah as a sister, a part of her, but even sisters went their separate ways.

Leah heard Emily's words and could almost taste the pity in them. Leah did not want anyone's pity! She didn't want them feeling bad for her! She didn't want them thinking 'oh poor Leah, she has it so bad'! She didn't want them to even think of her! If they had to then it should be in envy or hate or some other emotion rather then PITY! "Leah slapped her hand on the wall and turned around as the anger (wolf anger) started to come out. "Oh boo friggin' who on me. You two know NOTHING!"
She wished she never spoke up about her father. She rather them be fighting her, hating her, rather then feel bad for her! "Are you done here, Miss Young, or are you done playing with fire?!"

Emily sighed as Leah got upset. It always happened this way. One of them would admit something heartfelt and the other would reply with anger. Leah usually won but today Emily wasn't going to put up with Leah's bull shit. "Leah seriously? We know nothing? Thats oh so fair." Emily spat back her calm leaving her as quickly as it had come. Today Emily didn't give a damn that she was pissing off a shape shifter. Today it was just her and Leah and they were going to cross a line they had just played at crossing before. She wanted this, she wanted Leah to get angry, to take all that she had hidden from Emily in the past and shove it in her face now. All that bottled up betrayal, anger, hatred, that Leah felt, if it came out she'd be the better for it. Emily was going to try and let her get it out there. She could deal with it, with Leah's anger. Couldn't she? "Lovely. Just LOVELY Leah. I have to admit that Miss Young thing, great touch their darling." Emily gripped the wall behind her, using it to stand up to her full height. Although she was still shorter than Leah was. She didn't remove her hands from the wall. She was using all her strength to appear angry and trying to veil the side of her that was tired and didn't want to fight with Leah anymore. "Don't you know dearest Leah, that I am a pyro?" Emily asked with her eyebrows raised in question. As if she were asking Leah if she liked the color of her dress. She would poke at everything Leah said, make her cousin mad as Hell. Make her say everything she was holding back. She hoped that Leah wouldn't hurt her while doing so, she was scared enough for her liking. She didn't think Leah would hurt her but as long as the baby was okay, so was Emily.

Yeah well bahumbug to you too. Leah thought before rolling her eyes at Emily's comments as if Emily was Claire and just being dramatically annoying. Then Leah gave soft push off from the wall and walked to the kitchen not saying a word, nor looking their way. Once there she opened up some cabinets and looked inside them before pulling out a rather large mixing bowel and a full box of some overly sugared up kids brand cereal and pouring as much in the bowel as she could. Then she walked over to the fridge and opened it.
Leah's plan was apparently to ignore them all until they went away.
Pulling out the milk, Leah mixed it in with the cereal and then pulled out a spoon. She sat on the counter, and ate. She might have been ignoring them but she could still hear and smell them. Why was Emily here? Because she was leaving town? Big deal, it wasn't like they saw much of each other now and they lived a couple dozen miles apart. Besides, absents makes the heart grow fonder.

Sam let out a sigh, as he just stood there, saying nothing, not moving, yet paying very close attention to Leah. She was mad, and that was not a good thing. Not a good thing at all. But Sam just stayed out of it, he said nothing, responded to nothing, just stood there, as if he were dead. As if he were not real. He let out a few sighs as Leah took a different path, she left, left the room, to the kitchen he saw. Leaving Emily and himself standing alone. Now was his chance. But looked like Emily had a different idea, and into the kitchen Emily went, right after Leah. This was never going to end. Ever. Sam had to take charge before Emily freaked anymore."Emily, we are leaving." Sam spoke up as he too walked into the kitchen after Emily and Leah. He had to put an end to this, it could not be good for the baby. So he took Emily's and hand tugged a little, but Emily made it pretty much clear that she was not moving, not even an inch, nothing. But still Sam held on, he would not allow this to continue. So he just acted, before Emily could do anything rash. Sam bend over, and with a single swoosh, lifted Emily off from the ground, almost throwing her over his shoulder, yet he took care not to hurt the baby that she held. Making sure she was even over his shoulder. "I am sorry we barged in your home Leah." Sam said, holding Emily's legs so she would not fall. "Emily, I am taking you home. And I am taking you home now." Sam said with a sigh, he hated to have to do this, but he knew he had to, he knew he had to remove her from the situation. This had to stop, and Emily was not backing down. Leah had already said she was done, by walking away, but Emily, had not had enough. So to prevent Leah from phasing, he knew he had to leave, Emily kicking and screaming as they went. But at least she was alive, and at least no one got physically hurt.

Emily watched as Leah rolled her eyes. She pressed herself against the wall, fighting a wave of nausea as the baby finally protested what Emily was doing. Thank God Leah had walked away into the kitchen, that Sam couldn't see her face. Panic for the baby made Emily blind as she controlled her expression as best she could and followed Leah into the kitchen. The door was in the kitchen, Leah seemed to be just done with her and that was...alright. Emily could deal with that. She loved Leah but she was done forcing her to be around herself and Sam. Then Sam did something really rather stupid. Ordering Emily around that was just.... Emily let him take her hand, but as he tried to pull her along she just stood there. She looked at Leah for a moment, sitting their eating a large bowl of cereal and Emily wished she had brought her muffins or pancakes or something better for her to eat. Cereal wouldn't keep her energy up for a whole night. Although this was rather strange for Emily to think, it made her sad that Leah didn't get to eat a good meal before going out on her patrol. That was one of her things after all, making sure the people she loved were happy and well fed. She had failed Leah on all accounts. As Sam lifted Emily from the ground she yelped in surprise. Her face paled and her cheeks flushed red. This was utterly embarrassing. She felt like she was going to be sick. Never in her life had she felt so inferior, so helpless and childlike. She hated Sam for making her feel this way. For doing this to her in front of Leah. She wanted to hide her face in shame and she wished more than anything that she could make Sam feel like the helpless one for once. The only person who had ever been able to do that, was sitting at her kitchen table pretending to ignore them. Emily looked at Leah. She was going to cry. She could feel it threatening to make her look pathetic. She wanted more than anything to reach out to Leah. Wrap her arms around her and just refuse to let go. She also had the urge to spill that whole bowl of cereal into her lap for just walking away from the conversation for the second time that day. "Put me down Sam." Emily hissed. Anger made her feel out of control again. "I will leave on my own." She added, so that Sam might listen and let her walk out herself. Emily looked at Leah, for all that she was pretending to ignore them, eating her cereal, she knew she was listening. "Leah. Take care of yourself. If anything happens to you. I swear I'll kill you myself." Emily felt tears falling down her cheeks and she rolled her eyes at her own reaction. There was that stupid love again, tearing away all the anger. She wasn't mad at Leah any longer. Nothing was left but the fire that burned through her veins thinking or Leah getting hurt. Leah not coming back. She needed to get out of there. She was going to lose all her self control and she didn't want to do it in front of Leah.

Was she crying? "Ugh!" Low blow, Emily. "Are you crying?!" Leah asked in an annoyed shock. She had bitched until she was blue in the face a million times, and THIS is what made Emily get all emotional and cry? Really?! Leah had said a billion things meant to hurt, and scar, and ignoring her made her cry? Leah watched Sam, and when he touched Emily, Leah's eyes closed for a moment. She hated to see them touch, or be happy. She liked to think of them---ok, she hated to think of them together but when she couldn't stop the thoughts from breaking in she thought of Sam the guilt ridden loner, and Emily the scared up unhappy house wife, and she felt better about being the bitter ex.
When Sam touched Emily, cared for her, and tried to protect her. When he make his loyalty clear for Emily over Leah, then she couldn't stop the truth from hitting her. The one one dramatic or unhappy here was her. "Maybe you should take her to a bar," Leah suggested to Sam bitterly, "Get her a strong drink, that will take the edge off!" She joked, about it. Leah meant that a strong drink will help Emily deal with all this.
Leah wondered how things would have been, had they ended different, but pushed the thought away. Sam might have been her knight in shinning armor, might have been her prince charming. But Emily was his princess, Leah was in the role of ugly step sister or something now.

Sam just stood there, Emily over his shoulder, like a baby. Just held there, still, or as still as Sam could keep her. Sam let out a sigh as he listened to Emily plead to be put down, but he knew he knew Emily would not leave. He knew Emily would not just leave, but he knew she would have to fight a little more. Have to fight back, do something. Emily would not just leave it as is. "Emily. I will not put you down." Sam said, stern, and in control. "I will not have you so stress, Your doctor said no stress, it'll mess with the baby." Sam said, unaware of Leah not knowing, about the baby. He did not really think about it. Sam let out a angry sigh as he looked to Leah, but said nothing, he just shook his head, he almost felt sorry for her. Almost being the key word. It was one thing to be bitter, but it was another to be a bitter bitch, and that's just what she was. So with Emily tossed over his shoulder, Sam began to walk away, walk away, towards the door. He knew Emily hated him, and he knew Leah wished him dead, but he had to break this up. The stress would end up hurting Emily more then ever. Both Emily and Sam knew that losing another child would kill them, physically and mentally. Sam would not see Emily how she was. Sam would live happy with his love, and future child. Emily would thank him later, maybe. But for now, he felt he was doing best for his baby. If Emily had not been preggo, then he would have let this go on a little more. But not now. He had to think of the future. He had to protect the baby. He had to make sure this pregnancy went perfect and so far, Sam was not doing a very good job.

Emily looked away as Leah asked if she were crying. There wasn't anyway she would admit to that, say it out loud. She looked back after composing herself to see Leah shut her eyes as Sam grabbed her up. She hated that more than anything. Causing Leah pain made her sick to her stomach. A drink? Oh yes a drink would fix this. Her mind flashed back to the time the two of them went clubbing together they had, had fake names, Kaya and Shay. Shaking her head Emily bit her lip rather obviously to keep herself from crying all over again. "Take the edge off?" Emily whispered, the edge of what? The anger she felt at Sam for treating her like a misbehaving child, a weakling and someone not strong enough to deal with her own problems or the fact that her very sister was leaving and she'd have no idea if she were safe? "Sam I sware you will regret treating me this way." Emily whispered her voice was low and dangerous, she was failing at hiding how hurt she felt. Then he said it, spoke aloud the words Emily would do anything to take back. He talked about the baby. He talked about their unborn child in front of Leah. Emily wanted to tear the skin from her face. She stiffened in his arms and closed her eyes tight. Seeing Leah's face no matter what emotion played across it was not something she could deal with. She began to cry again picturing what it must be like to hear such a thing from Leah's point of view. It was impossible to truly know but Emily felt like the biggest bitch in the world at that moment. Hurting Leah AGAIN. She wondered if this hideous cycle would ever end.

The silence following Sam's words was only broken bu the sound of the blow shattering on the kitchen floor. For Sam, who's hearing was sharper he might hear Leah's breathing and heart rate pick up.
Leah wasn't moving. She wasn't blinking, she wasn't even shaking from wolf educed anger. It was as if the news had frozen her solid. This was the news she had waited for ever since Sam had left her and started turning his eyes over to Emily. It was the final nail in her bitter coffin she had build. It was the moment that she had often wondered if she was just explode on the spot or die from.
Oddly it was neither. Leah felt nothing. Not bitterness, nor anger, nor jealousy, nor sadness. It was as if she had stop feeling at all.
Leah felt something wet on her slack hands which were in her lap. Her eyes blinked and looked down. Tears. She was crying. When Sam left her, she had cried, but ever since he had started doing around with Emily there had been no tears. Only hate. Bitterness. When her father died, she had been unable to cry, as the wolf anger had been to strong. She had not cried any time she saw Sam and Emily together, nor heard news of weddings. This. This is what did it. Odd, Leah had been begaining to think Emily could no longer hurt her.
When she spoke, her voice was soft but held a strong tone. As if she was very sure of her words, even if they hurt to say. There was no bitterness in her voice. "I had told Sam I was leaving a few days ago, and I told him then that I would tell you my self." She spoke to Emily, "I said to him, that I would lie to you. I would pretend that I had forgiven you and hug you and smile and explain honestly that I had to leave to learn to let go."
"Because I love him. Still. And I hate him for that. I hate you for that even if you can't help it." Leah looked up at them, not knowing if they were even still there, everything had grown so silent. "I had been prepared to give you the good bye you needed to hear. So this is it. I wish you the best," lie, "and all the happiness." that hurt to say. Leah didn't want to stay in a town were she had to watch Emily be the wife in the family Leah had always dreamed of. Leah had used to joke to Jake and others that she was broken (broken hearted) but shattered (like glass). Now, Leah wasn't so sure.
Leah slide off the counter, stepping in the glass not caring it cut her feet. She would heal once she was out side, and running. "This is good bye Emily. The permitted one." With that Leah turned and walked out of the house, praying that she never saw either of them again.

Sam had paid no attention to Emily's threats. He too froze after he realized what he had said. He watches as Leah froze, as everything in the room stopped. His arm's relaxed, and did not even try to hold Emily over his shoulder anymore. If she wished to get down from him, she could. Sam just looking into Leah's eye's seeing the tears fall, just ripped him apart inside. He was the worst person in the world. If Emily did not need him so much, he would have left, gone far far away never to return. But Emily. He was so strongly attached to Emily he just could not leave her, even if he wanted to. It was so quiet. Leah was so still. It hurt him. Even Sam felt like crying. It's not that he missed Leah, or not like he missed what they had, but he missed that time. When all they had to worry about was what they were going to eat for lunch. He missed Leah's carefree spirit. He missed her jokes, her smile, her laugh. Though he'd never want to go back to her. He still wanted her to be happy. He had messed up so many lives by being who he was. He hated himself for it. Hated himself. But there was nothing he could do but stand here and listen to Leah.
When she said she still loved him, Sam put Emily down, and had to grab onto the counter for support. He felt light headed as if he was going to pass out. That's when he realized he stopped breathing. Sam took a breath, but still, he was not sure he could move. The air was bitter cold, and cut his lungs like a knife. Sam watched as Leah left. But he said nothing did nothing, just watched as she left. And as soon as he did, he let a hand cover his eyes. In a attempt to keep him from crying. God he was over her, but truth was he missed her too. Missed her laugh really. He hated to think that Leah was so bitter so angry because of Sam. Sam could have stopped it. If he only some how ignored Emily, then everything would be okay. If Sam never went up to Emily... Leah would still have the smile on her face, and Sam would be the unhappy one. But at least everyone would be happy again. Sam stood up, took a breath, picked Emily up(Bridal style now) And just walked out of this horrid home. He said nothing, his face hard, unreadable, though his eyes held a hint of sadness, and they were wetter then normal. But Sam would not cry over Leah, there was no point. He was happy and that's all that mattered. Or so that's what he told himself. Sam walked, Emily in arms. That is the end of this unhappy story.
