The little powder blue bug drove safely thought the small town of La Push. It had little daisy on the windows, and blue lay from Hawaii around the rear-a-view mirror. It was a happy looking car, that often made people point, and then try to hit each other in the world classic 'Punch Buggy' game.
The driver, was not as happy looking, as the car. Rachael Lana Black was of course, glad to visit her home, but the memories of what she had left behind where not so cheerful. It had been a mess and she had left La Push trying to out run her feelings. It was a childish thing to do but it was something she had felt at the time that she had to do. When her mother died Rachael the eldest of the Black children had taken on the role of mother. She had helped cook, clean so laundry, help with home work, and everything that needed to be done. In high school she had been shy and with drawn. When the boy Rachael had loved in secret for years, started dating her prettier twin sister, Rachael had picked a far off college, and not come back since.
Not until Charlie Swan had called her and told her that her younger brother was missing. Had been missing for a few weeks, and her father thought it was just 'silly teenaged boy stuff'. Rachael had packed her bags and headed home only to hear that Jacob had come home finally and everyone was pretending nothing had happened. Rachael was going to find out how far her family had fallen, and she was going to . . . . . . .what? She sighed. Leave again?
She had not told her family she was coming back, until last night and she was currently four hours early. Parking out side of her father's house she looked up at it, and smiled. No matter the memories, she wouldn't let others know how hard it was for her to come. Getting out she walked to the 'trunk' of her bug and opened it. [TAG: Seth!] ((Icons not of my own making. It was a beautiful morning, the sun was up and heating the day. The birds were tweeting and the woods were howl-less. To most people, that meant peace and quiet, to Seth, it meant he wasn't on duty for once. Seth Clearwater strode along the road, enjoying the day. It was the first time in a long while that he'd had any free time. Jake's disappearence had put their numbers down and since the discovery of the Volturi, Sam wasn't taking risks. Everybody except the youngest were running double shifts. It was tiring. And on the odd occasion he had had any spare time, it was plagued by Bella with hysterical phone calls. Seth had wished that she would accept and move on. Then Jake had come back and everything had seemed to be alright again. At least, when he wasn't overreacting about Bella and Edward who were on their honeymoon. Seth was only enjoying the nice day when his walk took him past Jake's house. Normally, he would've just waved at the windows and would've assumed somebody had seen it. That would've been the end of it. But today, there was a blue bug outside the house. This was odd, for Seth knew that Jake had his Rabbit and that Billy didn't drive. The other thing about the car was that it was very feminine. His curiousity captured, Seth ambled up the garden path and to the car revealing a girl who had been hidden from view before. She was pretty, in a heavy-lidded, black-haired way, but Seth's eyes were more drawn to the fact that she looked at lot like Jake and Billy. "Hello," He said brightly, sticking his hand out, "I'm Seth."

Rachael jumped at the sound of a voice, not having heard anyone walk up, and she gave a slight gasp as her eyes met the voice. Rachael wondered how she had not heard anyone of his size walk up, for he was rather tall, and very muscled. Wait, Seth? Rachael had known a Seth a while back. Seth Clearwater. Rachael's Dad, Billy, was best friends with Harry Clearwater who had died not long ago. Harry, Billy and Charlie had gone hunting and fishing allot together and while Rachael had never hung out or played with Seth nor his older sister Leah, Rachael had known them.
The boy before her could not be Seth Clearwater, even if he did look like him. He was very tall, and ripped. "I-I'm Rachael Black." She said, with a slight stammer left over from her shock, while trying to recall if La Push had another Seth. "Seth Clearwater?!" She asked shocked. It had been at lest five years or more since she had seen him. She reached out slowly and took his hand, still rather surprised at who was before her. [/blockquote] ((Icons not of my own making. Rachael? Rachael Black? Jake's older sister? Wow, it had been a while. So she had come back then, it was about time. Actually, come to think of it, Jake never thought about his sisters, so what had bought on her visit. Seth didn't even remember her that well, since he must have been really young when she was last there. Leah would be interested in this. She and Rachael must be about the same age. Perhaps she knew Rachael better than Seth. "Yeah, Seth Clearwater," He smiled an easy-going grin and took her hand. "Nice day for a reunion." He said, unable to think of what to say. They probably didn't have that much in common.

Rachael could not believe this was Seth Clearwater! He had been so young when she left, that seeing him now made her just beyond shocked! "I-I-I'm sorry if I'm staring, but WOW, you grew up!" That was something Rachael was sure no guy liked to hear but she couldn't help it. Rachael had gone to school with Seth's older sister Leah but they had not been friends. Rachael had been the chubby and shy girl who had only one or two friends while Leah had been the school's queen. Leah had one of them larger then life personalities, and she had also been dating Sam Uley one of the more popular guys at school.
At his words of a reunion she blushed, "Yeah, I came home sort of last moment. I don't think anyone knows I am here yet. Not even Dad or Jacob." She wondered if Seth knew anything about Jacob. If no one was home, she could ask Seth and learn what she could before they got home. It was a small town, surly Seth knew something. Rachael wondered how she could bring it up casually, with out seeming like she was being nosey about her brother's life. "Are you busy? So you have a moment to help me carry some things into the house? I can make you my Mom's famous banana sandwiches as a thank you!" Rachael said, and reached in the truck to hold up a bag of bananas! She seemed shocked, but then again, she only knew the legends. Seth was sure it didn't go deeper than that. The crazy growth spurts were something everyone had a hard time covering up at school and it wasn't easy to just lie to people. The fate of the pack could rest on this meeting, if she didn't believe him and found out, she could tell others.
"Just normal growth spurts, Jake's gone up a bit too."
If she reacted like this with Seth, how was she gonna react about Jake? It must have been ages since she'd seen him and now he was all muscular.
"Wow, I have the honour of knowing you're here first," He grinned at her.
Keeping with his vow never to refuse food, Seth picked up a large box and began to walk into the kitchen like it weighed nothing. "Where'd you want me to put this?" He called over his shoulder. Banana sandwiches were a good incentive.

Rachael doubted that Jacob had something as big as Seth. She had not seen her brother in a few years but she had not seen Seth in longer then that. "I doubt I will be as shocked at him as I was with you." She joked, "Your almost triple your old size." Or more! "I beat your sister can't beat you up anymore!" Rachael and Leah had not been close, but since their fathers were, Rachael knew enough to know that while Leah and Seth loved each other they weren't overly close. At lest not when she had known them. Leah had been all about Sam, her boy friend, and Seth had been much younger then.
"I guess just put it down beside the couch." Rachael said, impressed he made it look so easy. "Will one be enough, or are you going to want two. You like like you could put away a house." She teased, as she was getting everything needed to make sandwiches. She would wait until Seth relaxed some before asking about Jacob. Maybe get him eating.
