The Volturi, a group of gifted vampires who keep control of the vampire world. Always alert, making sure no human finds out about them, that no vampire causes them any problems. Most of the vampires that reside within their underground temples never leave. That is except for the truly useful vampires to their masters. Alec and his sister Jane were both easily considered useful. They were favorites, so of course they were allowed to leave often. They sometimes were even given permission to leave when they simply asked for a family hunting trip for just the two. Other than that though most of the vampires were happy staying underground. Of course that meant they grew hungry. So random members of the guard were asked at different times to bring in dinner for the entire guard. Everyone would meet together, and they would all feed at once. Somehow this was relaxing, most vampires did not have such a large coven, excluding the Cullens, so they did not experience the joy of sharing a meal with so many of their own kind. It was... rewarding.
This particular hunting trip Alec was asked to fetch the meal. He was assigned a partner, for usually two were sent. One male and one female, that way they attracted an even number of both sexes for the meal. The two would use whatever tactics they choose to lure a large mass of willing humans underground for the guard and family to feast upon. The normal and most effective method was that of a tour, one Alec had used many times with Jane as his partner. A change was to be made this time though, for Jane was off on another errand for Aro, so Alec had a different partner, Heidi. She was an excellent choice for a partner, especially on a task such as this. Her ability to show people what they most desired would cause for an easy recruitment. He smiled when Aro told him the details, for this would be even easier than it had ever been. Alec quickly set out to find Heidi and ask her when she would be willing to go, he was sure that she had already been given her orders for she had already been here, and Alec had only just returned.
Another member of the Volturi directed Alec to where Heidi had last been seen and he followed their directions easily enough. Personally Alec got along with most of the guard well enough. He was quiet and kept to himself, he really only ever spoke in front of Jane, but Heidi, she intrigued Alec. Her talent was interesting, the idea of toying with the humans with their desires was unique. Finding Heidi was simple enough and he saw she turned when he walked into the room. He gave her a small grin, Heidi, my dear, are you ready to go? Or would you prefer more time?" Although Alec had been changed many years ago, and at such a young age he still preferred to talk from his era, but he had learned that not everyone appreciated it. Sadly he had modified his talking slightly, but it didn't matter too much. He so rarely spoke aloud. He glanced around him and saw that mostly everyone was wearing their red clocks today, and he had donned his black one. Going out into the outside world required him to be noticed as little as possible, and red was such a bright, powerful color. People were drawn to power, but also feared it. No reason to fear what they hunted, better to blend in. Alec truly enjoyed the hunt, the predator in him thrived on simple tasks such as this one. [/blockquote] [[Tag: Heidi!]]

Heidi has been the first of the guards of the Volturi and of course she would remind this to anyone who even dare to try and act as if they were better then her. yes her power was useful but other guards had came and join the Volturi and some of them had the most amazing power. Such as Jane and Alec. Brother and sister. She didn’t really mind Alec. but for some reason she didn’t really like Jane. it was maybe because she was the female favourite. but of course Heidi never complained about it. there was no need to and it would simply get her into trouble. and the last thing she wanted was to be in trouble with Aro. And as Aro was their leader she didn’t want to get on his bad side. if he ever got bored of her, he could haave her kill in a matter of minutes. So she kept her mouth shut and did her job the best she could.
Like today. she had been given the tast to come back with the meal. they always sent them in team of two. Apparently it was to get an even number of male and female. Heidi knew that she could easily bring both sexes to the table. she had done it in the past. But she didn’t mind a partner. and today she had been teamed up with Alec. they hadn’t often went hunting together and she figured that today would be interesting. she was sitting alone in her room waiting for alec to show up. She was always ready for a hunt. she liked the trill it gave her. she like to choose the people one by one. making sure to simply get the best of the best. for her it was more like a game then anything else. she enjoyed the trill of it. But more then anything she enjoy having the meal with the rest of the coven. there was a lot of people within the walls of her home and it was hard to get them all together at once but when it came to dinner, most of the time everyone would make an exception and move into the main room.
Heidi had been able to smell Alec before he even spoke. but that was the thing of being a vampire; you had more powers then human. she turned around and smiled at him with a thooty grin. “Well Hello Dear Alec. I’m ready to go.” she told him while standing up. “How are you doing today?” she asked him politely. Heidi even thought she was a ruthless killer was still polite and lady like. But only with the people who deserved it. Or the people she was currently playing with. As for Alec, well not only was he part of the coven but she also respected him. “Let me just change real quick.” She told him as she looked down at what she was wearing. She quickly changed into something more bait like. She now add on a tight almost painted on skirt and a blouse that was low cut and put her advantage on display. “where did you want to go?” She asked him as she was heading down the corridors.

Another smile spread across Alec's lips with Heidi's politeness. It was almost hard to believe at times that every vampire down here was a ruthless killer. Most of the time they all seemed so polite, except for the select few. Of course those few were not sent on errands such as the one Heidi and Alec were set out to do. "I am well today, yourself?" Her next question came quickly and he stopped for a split second to consider her question. He knew that they shouldn't go far, they needed a large group of people, and that would be difficult escorting so many for a long period of time without going unnoticed. He remembered that there was a small festival going on just above them, nothing to large, just big enough due to some people traveling to visit their wonderful land. His cherry thoughts almost had him laughing, something many didn't see, but he resisted the urge and glanced above him than back at Heidi. "Today is a perfect day to work you magic."
Alec was well aware that Heidi would have understood what he meant. He knew she would catch on with the glance above him that they wouldn't be going to far today. They needed many people, she understood that. Many of the vampires that shared any type of communication with Alec had long ago learned he communicated more with his actions than his actual words. He only spoke when it fit his mood. Alec gave another small smile to Heidi and he turned around, he stopped his movements to let her catch up before they began walking to the surface. It was a pretty quiet walk, for he was thinking of a way to almost prolong their visit to the outside world. Her talents would get this over with quickly, which usually he did not mind, but he wanted to be outside for a bit today. The second they reached the inside of the clock tower, Alec pulled his hood over his head. He went toward the door, and opened it like a gentleman for Heidi to walk through. His eyes instantly took in the overcast, and he thanked whoever there was to thank for such pleasant weather.
Another thought occurred to him, he wasn't doing this with Jane, so he was unsure exactly how Heidi would want to proceed. "Heidi, how would you like to do this today?" They both were more than capable of bringing in their fair share, he could go off and gather women, and her men, unless of course she had a different approach. It was harder for him and Jane at times, due to the fact they looked like children still. He usually would lure mothers into thinking he was lost, but Heidi's gift of course could make him look different. His thoughts ran through this quickly before turning back to look at Heidi as the two walked outside. His eyes took in their surroundings and he left the final choice up to her. She was more than capable, and he saw no reason to be all bossy. It wasn't his style.

Alec was a kind kid. Well he was not really a child anymore as he was rather old but he still looked like a child and therefore was a child in Heidi’s mind. But it didn’t mean she thought less of him. No she had great respect for the child like vampire. She always wondered what it was like to have been taken at such a young age. Never be able to grow older. Never know what it felt like to have an adult body. She wondered if he was mad about this whole situation. Maybe not because he didn’t know what he was missing so there was no way for him to know if it was good or not. Maybe one day she would bring up the subject but not right now. “Very well thank you and specially now that were are going hunting.” She told him smiling. She had always loved the trill of the hunt. It made her feel powerful, almost alive.
She looked at him knowing what he meant by the fact that today was a perfect day for her to work her magic. She had heard there was a small festival going on. It would be easy to grab a few people, as long as they were not too close. Aro didn’t like it when Heidi brought over food that had simply be hanging around the walls of their home, he said it was too dangerous. Aro was an anxious man in Heidi’s mind. He was careful. He didn’t want anything to happened to him or his coven, he had worked to hard to let such a thing happened. Not that Heidi could blame him. The Romanians had not been as careful as Aro and that had been one of the many reason why the Volturi had been able to over power them. It didn’t really took her long to catch up with him. She didn’t have to run as he had even took the curtsey of slowing down a little bit. After many turns they were finally at the main entrance. Alec open the door for her and Heidi thanked him. It was a cloudy day which was perfect. The last thing she wanted was to sparkle!
Heidi moved a slender finger to her lips thinking. Yes how did she want to proceed. There was no many possibility. She could make people believe anything, Alec didn’t have to look like a child to the humans. This could be most interesting. She turned around to look at him. “there is many different things we could do. We could go with the simple tour guides. I would of course make you look older.” She told him. “Or we could act like a couple who simply want to have fun.” She said. “Or if you have an idea we could of course give it a try.” She told him.

Her suggestions were... interesting and that was exactly what he had wanted. He wanted something different. He wanted to try a different approach, something he had never been able to do before, not until his pairing with such a unique partner to work with. The possibilities were endless, and he enjoyed that, he, for once without Jane by his side, could not hide his smile. What approach did he want to take, be older and see what kind of reactions he could get out of humans? Now that would be interesting, he never had the chance to grow up, he was forever stuck in the body he was in now, never to know what he would have looked like if he had grown up. Finding out the reactions from the Hyman's might satisfy something he had been missing. But than again, appearing as a couple with someone, that was something else he had never attempted, which made him want to.
Alec had never ever been interested in girls. All he had ever needed was his sister, but at the suggestion of appearing as a couple, his mind began to click. He was older than most creatures in this world, but of course him and his twin did not look it. They were young, in appearance. He had been told it was not Aro's intention to change them at such an early age, but the twins had given him no choice. They were demon child, even back then. He smiled at the thought, and thanked whoever it was he was to thank once again for his twin sister. She was the only women he probably would ever truly care about and love. Alec brought his attention back to Heidi as the two continued to walk further away from the clock tower. "Well, which ever you would prefer. It's your talent, I am here to assist you in any way possible." He gave Heidi a friendly smile and awaited her answer. For the first time Alec did not know. He just did not know what he wanted. It was a strange, but exciting sensation to be undecided. It made him feel... alive. Maybe he should start spending more time with Heidi when he wasn't with Jane. He liked how she made him feel.

She looked around wondering where they should start. As this would be a first she wanted to make sure she was not to make any mistake. There was no time or place for mistakes. It was the first time they were partner up together. And as Alec was one of the favourite of Aro, she was pretty sure Aro would want to know how it went. “well first I will project the idea that you are a grown man.” She told him as they had reach a part of the city where it would be easy to take some people off the street. It was all better now. Alec looked like Heidi imagine he would look if he had had a chance to grow up. He clearly was good looking and Heidi had to remind herself that he was only what she had wanted him to look like. She clearly couldn’t fall for her own creation this would be rather pathetic.
She smiled at him. “I will make this my call, but if you ever want us to do this together again and have an idea about what you might want. Let me know.” She told him warmly. Alec was a great vampire. Well to her at least. She knew he was not that way when other vampires might be involved, specially then one that had went against the Volturi. And with humans he was probably even worst. But humans were worthless so it didn’t really change anything now did it? Humans were used to be feed on and that was it. Soon enough Heidi saw a couple of couples that looked to be around 25 years old. Perfect. She liked her meal to be still in youth but still old enough. She could already see the one she wanted. Maybe she could even play with him a little if Aro allowed her. sometimes he didn’t want her to play with her food. “I was thinking we could be this hip couple that are throwing the best party in this abandon house, they will be overly excited and soon enough filled with fear, the taste will be exquisite.” She told Alec. “what do you think my dear Alec?” she questioned.

To everyone around him he looked like an adult, and he craved to see what his appearance looked like to everyone around them, but he resisted asking Heidi, and instead just smiled at her next comment and nodded. He appreciated how she was not trying to take full control of the situation to show him how good she was. She was being helpful, and wanted to work as a team. Something to be admired. His eyes than moved to the couple that she had first spotted and he agreed with her choice in cattle. That was all Alec considered human's- cattle. He smiled, and bared his teeth, him throwing a party? He wanted to laugh, but her idea was perfect. Human's so loved the thrill of a party, and a young couple that lived here in this town were sure to have an awesome. . . what was the word. . . pad?
Looking at Heidi and nodding, Alec wrapped his arm around Heidi's waist as the two walked toward the couple. He gave the female a killer smile, that he somehow just knew would melt her heart coming from an adult version of himself. How he knew that? Even he didn't understand, but he was sure it had something to do with Heidi's reaction to his projection earlier. He whispered underneath his breath, loud enough for only Heidi to hear. "I do think that that is a most perfect plan." He gave Heidi a squeeze with his arm and motioned for her to do the talking. Human's tended to respond better to females for some reason, one he had no desire to ever understand. [/blockquote]

Heidi didn’t think that Alec would want to see what he looked like. She was use to things like that and she had forgotten that Alec was not used to it. if he had been to ask her, she would have gladly showed him. She really liked him and if he wanted to change something she would have done it easily. She figured it might be nice for him to be able to change into what he would have like to look if he had been given the change to grow. The couple of course had no idea what was going to hit them. It could have been unfortunate but Heidi didn’t care enough for it to be unfortunate. They were at the wrong place at the wrong time but them but clearly at the right place at the right time for Heidi and Alec.
It was strange to feel Alec’s arm around her waist. Heidi clearly had not expect him to pick things up so fast. Not that she didn’t trust him but simply that well he still was a child in a way. She knew he had never been interested in women. He seemed to only be interested in his sister mostly. But not in a sexual way. No the bond they seem to share was deeper then that. It looked like it was stronger then the soul mate thing some people seemed to believe in. Alec was perfect in his role, it was almost as if he had done this forever. The female part of the couple was already under his charms. “How are you guys doing?” She asked in a hyper voice. Both of them were doing great but looking for some excitement.
“well isn’t this funny?” Heidi exclaimed. “My boyfriend Brandon and I were currently thinking the same thing. You see we have rented this amazing pad and we want to throw the most awesome party ever!” She said. “Would you care to join us?”

Alec hid his true emotions from everyone watching, and put on a fake mask as well, but at the mention of his fake name, his eye twitched. Brandon? Such a common name. . . eh. Only Heidi would have noticed the twitch, but he kept the smile on for the humans. "Yes, Helga and I would love if you two joined us!" He chocked back a gag from pretending to be so excited that the humans wouldn't see. "Maybe you could help us spread the word? We want it to be one of the biggest partys this city has ever seen." He gave them both the most dazzling smile he could and was satisfied when they agreed to help.
The four set off to find the next group or people to trick into coming to the party, and Alec gave Heidi a wink behind the humans backs. The name game was never a fun one. The group walked for a short time before they came upon a group of high school graduates on vacation before the start of their college life. It was easy to sway them into wanting to party, what teenager wouldn't want to experience a party of this magnitude during their last "free" summer. Alec gave Heidi a quiet smile once more and let her pick the next group, they were racking up the body count quicker than he ever had before. [/blockquote]

From the corner of her eyes Heidi had seen the twiched in Alec’s eyes, clearly the boy didn’t like his name. Not that she could really blame him. It was not the best one she could have think of. But at the same time she didn’t want to think too outside the box. Humans were stupid and there was no need to confuse them so soon. Luckily humans would never have seen this quick and sudden change in Alec. And soon enough the humans were falling for them and they agreed to follow them and bring more people. It was kind of funny when you stop and thought about it. Humans were helping vampires to find more humans to feed on.
They started to walk away once they had added a group of teenager to their list. Heidi lead the group to one that consited mostly of tourist. Heidi loved blood that was out of town. The group didn’t speak perfect English but that was okay as they all manage to figure out a way to talk to each other. Soon enough they were up to 30 people. She looked over to Alec to let him know that it was enough. If someone notice them with more people questions would be great. Heidi mentionned to the group they move to their pad and soon other people would join them. She then lead the way back to the castle of the Volturi. Now Aro would be happy and maybe Heidi and Alec would get to work together again. This would be great, she would be able to get to know him better.

The two worked effortlessly with one another. The task was enjoyable, and Alec hadn't even realized so much time had passed before he noticed the large group behind him. His gaze met with Heidi's and he saw that she also felt the same way, and the two began directing the group toward their own home. To the humans demise. The thought of sinking his teeth into one of their throats crossed his mind, and then he quickly let it fade. It was no time to begin thinking about the feast that was bound to come.
Keeping up his part, Alec reached out and grabbed Heidi's hand while the two walked back, he even smiled at her and decided to strike up a cheery, two-sided conversation. "What a lovely group we have found my dear! This will be an amazing party." His eyes turned back to glance at the crowd as they neared the clock tower. Alec broke away from Heidi's grip, and held open the doors for the vampire, and humans to walk through. They were almost there. [/blockquote]
