Edward had been away hunting for a few hours. It was nice on occasion to get away from everyone and simply be alone. And certainly to not have to listen to the thoughts of his family constantly. It could get quiet annoying having thoughts go through his mind constantly but Edward had grown accustom to his talent. He could easily ignore thoughts though some were harder than others. It really depended what the thoughts were focused on and who was thinking the thoughts. Edward had been hunting his favorite mountain lion. Edward had gracefully finished off the lion the burn in his throat becoming much more satisfied as he drained the animal. Edward would usually go hunting with Emmett or even one of his parents as he consider them. Esme and Carlisle were his mother and father in every sense of the word. He could not have asked for better parents he was probably undeserving of them. They accepted him even when he had rebelled against their life style. But he had quickly returned and they accepted him regardless of what he had done.
It had been a few hours that Edward had left the house and his family. As Edward returned he easily picked up the thoughts of his family, but Edward also picked up two more thoughts. Edward quickly read the thoughts that surrounded him coming to realization that Alice and Jasper, to vampires he had yet to meet, were wanting to be apart of their family. Edward was most displeased with Rosalie's train of thought. He didn't have to be far to read know her thoughts. Of course she would have been pleased for Alice and Jasper to move into his room. Rosalie would do anything that would annoy Edward. It had always been that way from the very first time Edward met Rosalie she was annoyance just as he was to her. He knew this was something that would never change. Edward was uncertain about having two more join their family. They didn't even know these vampires from what Edward gathered they pretty much made their selves right at home. Already among the family.
Edward could easily tell where Alice and Jasper were even without reading their minds. Their scent was easy to identify as they were the only one's he had not met. Edward entered his bedroom that Rosalie had so kindly suggested they take. It was easy to tell Edward was not in the greatest of moods. The first thing Edward noticed was Jasper's scars it was always something be weary of. It looked as if he had been attacked over and over. This made Edward a bit more cautious but he could read his thoughts and knew there was no immediate danger. "Hello Alice, Jasper." Edward greeted them. Edward could quiet literally kill Rosalie why would she offer his room? To annoy him of course that answer was quiet obvious. Edward was sure to get back at Rosalie for this as he always did. They would often do things that would annoy one another simply because of their dislike for each other.

Alice was amazed at how easily everything was going. Yes, they had had a rough start; Rosalie was probably going to distrust Jasper for a long while seeing as she didn't seem interessted in getting to know him, yet. Let her think what she did, Alice knew her husband better than anyone else there. Emmett was more trusting, perhaps he didn't think Jasper to be a threat to him. At least Esme and Carlisle were there, they had pushed their first impressions aside and welcomed them. It was nice. And even though Rosalie was weary about Jasper, she was kind enough to Alice, and the little monster was going to use that to help Rose see that her husband was harmless to them.
Much sooner than to be expected, the Cullens accepted the transitioning couple into their family and their home. Rosalie was kind enough to even show then to a room -- obviously the room was not for actual sleeping. The room was small enough and completely bare, the furniture that occupied it before had been moved to the garage, Rose explained, with a promise that it would be refilled soon enough. To Alice, just the thought that they already got a room was exsiting.
Rose had left and Alice looked at Jasper with a smile. Things were going so well. Looking around the room again, her looked out the enourmous window at the view. "This is nice," She said as a remark to the whole situation and not just the view, that was gorgeous! The Cullens really had a beautiful home and it was in a great location. Great lucious forests, in deep evergreen colours with chocolate brown trunks... It was just as she had seen it, of course.
It didn't take a vision to know that Edward was coming upstairs, even though she had gotten one anyways. Half a second after she had forseen his arrival, Alice turned on her heels and saw Edward walking in. She smiled as he greeted them by name, perhaps Esme, Carlisle or the others had told him about them. "Nice to meet you Edward!" Her high-tuned voice sang.

Things in Jasper's life had taken a dramatic turn. But for once, in this case, it was for the better. First and foremost, he had met Alice. The most amazing person -- or vampire -- in his life. He had not been expecting something so wonderful to exist, nor did he think he deserved her. But she had explained so much to him, and while he would always have that feeling of how she was too good for him, he would always remain with her. They were married now, and a nice small wedding with just the two of them was exactly what he had wanted, and conveniently it was precisely what she had wanted for the time being as well.,
She was the first factor in his life that had altered it completely. The next . . . were the Cullens. Jasper still didn't know how he felt about this entire situation. Alice seemed to trust them, and Jasper trusted Alice which included her visions, but he felt a strong sense of displacement. He could tell he did not belong in this family. Carlisle and Esme had welcomed them, and their emotions were so soft and kind -- something Jasper was not used to being around, until he had met Alice -- and these days there seemed to be more and more vampires that he was associating himself with that shared these less sinister emotions. Then, there had been Rosalie and Emmett. He could tell that Rosalie especially did not trust him, and she had reason not to for his scars could tell a vampire quite a bit without using words. Emmett seemed like a more laid back vampire; all he could feel from him -- besides the obvious protectiveness he had over his mate -- was fun, and joviality.
And now came the last one they had not encountered yet: Edward. As soon as he came in to view, Jasper could tell he was not happy . . . perhaps it was due to their arrival. He could also tell that the vampire was wary of Jasper's scars, and once again, he could not blame him for this. It was a natural instinct for a vampire to see Jasper and wonder what the source was of so many scars . . . and be cautious of him. Yet Alice had been the only one who had not concerned herself with them, and her being here right now was the only reason Jasper was staying. He looked at Edward, standing close to Alice, already feeling helpless without her. He did not say anything. He just stood there, watching Edward, wondering what he was going to do when he was not in the best of moods.

Edward was aware that Jasper nor Alice knew this was his room. Rosalie had just been kind enough to offer them room. How nice of Rosalie. He was going to get her back that much was certain. She was more of annoyance than anything the very reason he annoyed her with every chance he got. She was never of any help really. Or so it seemed to him. She could be nice but that was simply not like her to show. Unless it happen to annoy Edward like today. Edward would expect nothing less from Carlisle and Esme to allow Jasper and Alice to stay. But Edward was a bit uncertain they already had so many he didn't want to draw to much attention to themselves. Edward had been uncertain of Rosalie joining as well. Yet it had worked out some way. Perhaps the same would be true with these two though Edward was still uncertain.
Edward paid attention to Alice's thoughts. No one had told him they were here he expected they did not know of his talent to read minds. At times it could be a real annoyance but others it was quiet useful. He could always make sure no humans were to suspicious of them when they settled at a location this happen from time to time but Edward was always there to warn his family. They would move rumors would simply disappear and no one would suspect anything unusual. Humans had such short memories it wouldn't take long for them to forget them. They had just recently moved to Forks Edward wonder just how they would get along with Jasper and Alice. If this would make things more diffiuclt or not. "It was so kind of Rosalie to offer you my room." Edward's tone was a bit sarcastic. Edward could easily tell my Alice's thoughts she loved everything about their house but Edward did not want them to have his room.
Edward knew he had nothing to worry about with Jasper. Even with his scars he meant no harm. Edward wonder just why exactly Jasper and Alice had come to meet the rest of his family. It was not everyday they came across their own kind. Perhaps on a few occasions but it was still rare and let alone for them to join them. They would have to adapt to their lifestyle of course. Edward wonder if they knew of this and this is why the joined or not. Edward could not tell by their current thoughts. "If you don't mind me asking how is that you came across my family?" Edward kept his tone polite as he often was even if he was in a bad mood it wasn't their fault for what Rose had done. She simply wanted to annoy him. It was a reasonable question certainly they would not mind having been asked a question such as this. If they were to be apart of his family he would like to know more about them be more trusting of them. By reading thoughts it was easy to tell right away if they could be trusted if they were friends. Edward was pretty confident that they would be just that.

It was nice to finally meet everyone in the Cullens' coven. Soon all first impressions could be worked apon so that they could all get to know each other in a little more depth. Things were looking great for the future -- no visions needed to tell Alice that much. The Cullens were accepting -- for the most part -- and very pleasant.
When Jasper came to stand next to her, Alice unconsiously took his hand. She was so used to having him around and near her all the time, it was hard to be too far appart. They had spent a long time together, just the two of them and it was very natural for her to constantly want to be by him. She didn't know if she could be away from him, or be alone for that matter. 28 years of solitude had probably gotten to her a bit as well.
Edward seemed very tense about something, and his sarcastic reply made it all clear. Alice's friendly smile fell and her eyebrows raised in a shocked way. She couldn't help be grin a bit, lightly embarassed by the situation. "Oh my! I am so sorry about this, we had no idea!" Alice giggled a little nervously. Didn't see that one coming. It was his room. Rosalie must have been well aware of this, did she and Edward have a rivalry? Alice just felt bad about the whole thing. Obviously, Edward would have his room back, there was no way Alice would feel right about 'staying' in his room.
Edward's voice seemed less strained when he spoke next, which made Alice feel better, not worried that he disliked them because a simple room mix up, so to say. Alice grinned, again, it was so odd having to explain herself, having to explain her ability. After being with just Jasper for so long and having him already being aware of her preminitions, it felt odd for the person to whom she was speaking to not already aware of this already. But there was so much that had led the pair to coming to see the Cullens. It went back to the day they had first met. However, Alice was going to keep it simple. "Because of my visions," She announced proudly enough.

Jasper did not like Edward's tone. It was sarcastic and Jasper found it rather rude, especially when directed to his wife. He looked at Edward, not quite glaring but it was a bit of a stern look. This Cullen was not like the others . . . he was not as hesitant to allow them in, but as previously concluded in Jasper's mind, he did not like this vampire's tone and the way he was speaking to Alice. If it continued, he would be forced to interfere, with either his powers or by saying something for the first time since he met him. However, for the time being, he would just watch him very, very carefully. Alice should not have to apologize for accepting something that was offered to them. The fact that Edward's comment made her do just that made Jasper less relaxed, and more displeased with Edward.
When Alice revealed that she had visions, he slightly tightened his grasp on her hand. Nothing that would hurt her, but it was done in more of a protective way. His expression at Edward also intensified a little. He was giving him a look, as if to warn him not to judge or give Alice a difficult time about her special gift. Despite the fact that they were guests here, Jasper would not hesitate doing whatever was necessary to protective his wife. It was natural for him as they had spent a significant amount of time together, and though it was only a couple of years, it felt like a wonderful lifetime. But for now, he would stand close to her, and keep an extremely close watch on the unfamiliar vampire that was in their presence.

Edward was aware they had no idea this was his room. "I am aware of this. Rosalie is completely to blame if she knows something will annoy me she will happy to do so. You caught her in one of her better moods." Though they did not know of his talent. Rosalie wasn't exactly a rival more of an annoyance. "Rosalie isn't a rivalry she is merely an annoyance. She will do anything to make sure I stay annoyed." Of course this also applied for Edward when he got the chance to annoy Rose he jumped at the chance. Edward's eyes flickered to Jasper at his thoughts. He obviously didn't like his tone that much was obvious. Edward would have been able to tell even without knowing his thoughts. But as it was he could read his thoughts and know everything he was thinking for the moment. Alice had constantly brought up visions in her thoughts and Edward was not completely sure what exactly she meant with that. It was rather confusing and frustrating. Jasper's thoughts on his talent caught his interest slightly.
Perhaps Edward would not be the only one with a talent. It was not strange for Edward perhaps a bit out of place. It could be annoyance especially with Rosalie around. She could annoy him with her thoughts all she thought about was herself and her logic didn't always make sense to him. There was also uses for the talent he had.Edward turned back to Alice as she stated she had visions. Edward had been paying close attention to her thoughts trying to understand these visions. Her thoughts made perfect sense with the the word 'premonitions' so Alice could see the future? That was an interesting talent and made Edward feel less out of place within his family. Perhaps these two joining would not be as bad as Edward had first assumed. But he could not be certain right now. He needed to know more about them before he would be trusting of them. There was much he did not know and would like. "You had a vision of being with my family?" Edward question understanding Alice's talent but not sure just how it worked.
Edward's eyes once more flickered to Jasper with his thoughts. Why would he judge Alice? Or even Jasper. They all had talents not something Edward was use to. For the longest it had only been him. "I am not going to judge Alice or you for your talents." Edward had no right for he too had a talent as well. Edward wonder just how this would affect their family. It seemed the others were unaware for he would have read them in their thoughts. Then again he had not been paying a great deal of attention to the others thoughts. Mostly focused on Alice and Jasper. He was more trusting of Alice than Jasper. Jasper was not exactly fond of him or his tone that he had used. He was merely annoyed with Rosalie it did not mean he was annoyed with these two. But with Jasper that could quickly change he did not like how he was thinking. Why was he acting protective over Alice? It was not like Edward meant any harm or to say things so rudely.

"Oh." Alice said simply. Could it be a coincidence that Edward was reasuring them that Rosalie wasn't a rival and that there was no rivalry between the two of them. Alice really saw no other explanation -- she was still new to eveything in the vampire world. Of course, Jasper had told her a lot about who they were and such, but now she really had to get used it all. It wasn't just her and Jasper anymore.
Alice felt Jasper's hand tighten around hers after she had told Edward about her visions. She looked up at him and saw his expression. With a little frown, she palced her free hand on his arm. She wasn't 100% sure what was going on through his head but he seemed a little unpleased. Looking back at Edward and a small smile came to her face. "Not exactly," She started. "I saw that we would meet you and your family... but the future holds many variables... and everything fell into place, you could say." Alice tried to make as much sense as she could. Hopefully it would make sense to Edward.
Alice was a little confused afterwords. Though she was glad that Edward was saying he would not judge them for their abilities... How did he already know about Jasper's ability? Had Rosalie or Emmett told him? And where had that come from, his declaration to not judge them? Obviously, Ed's words were aimed at Jasper. Alice looked up at her husband, a puzzled look on her face. (My 500th post! Yay!)

This entire encounter was make Jasper more and more uncomfortable. First, he had presumed that Edward was in a fowl mood based on his sarcastic remark . . . but now, he was answering questions that Jasper had not even asked out loud. Had he vocalized that? No. Jasper was more careful with his words than to blurt out every question or comment that came into his head. Did Edward know about his gift? Had one of the other vampires told him? Jasper could not be certain. He could feel the lack of trust from him, and it was mutual on Jasper's part. He felt Alice's confusion and wished he had some answers to give her to alleviate her of that. But right now, he was just as confused. He did not want this to last; he wanted to know as much information as possible.
Although he felt Alice's gaze on him, he kept his eyes locked on Edward. He did not flinch, he did not blink, he remained completely stationary. His expression would not give any of his emotions away though he did not know that Edward had the ability to literally get inside his head. "What do you presume to know about us?" It was the first thing he had asked . . . in fact, it was the first thing Jasper had said upon meeting Edward. It was a question that demanded answers, and his voice was toneless when he asked. He did not like being left in the dark. That being said, he began to use his own ability to eliminate the annoyance Edward was feeling, and replace it with feelings of calmness and relaxation, so that he would be more likely to answer Jasper's question -- and any Alice may have -- without hesitation.
Two could play at this game.

Edward listen closely to both Alice's response and her thoughts to completely understand Alice's gift and how she came about to find his family. "You can only know something will happen not how that something will happen?" It would strange to see the future but so was reading minds. Edward wondered if it was annoyance to be able to see everything that would happen. Or did she see everything that happen? "You knew you would be apart of our family? You didn't even stop to think about who we were or why you would be apart of us?" Not that Edward was not unwilling for them to be apart of their family but why they wanted to be here. There were very few vampires who were willing to give up the blood of humans and to simply drink that of animals. There was only a few others they knew of Kate and her family.
"No one told me of Jasper's ability." Edward stated clearly. Edward had not even spoken to any of his family. They were all aware he was here he knew this simply be reading their thoughts. Not like he could not read their thoughts he could ignore and at times he did. He tried to give them privacy when he could but that was not always possible. He would always hear their thoughts. "I as well have an ability." Edward supposed it wasn't really fair that he knew of their abilities yet he had not told them. His talent had given him this advantage. "I can read thoughts. I know exactly what you have been thinking since we've been talking. That is how I know of Jasper's ability." At times Edward's gift could be quiet annoying but most of the time it was quiet useful. He could understand someone sometimes easier by reading their thoughts than by words. That is how he knew Jasper was not someone to be weary of though Jasper was displeased with Edward this much was certain.
Edward knew Jasper was using his talent as the thoughts slipped through his mind. Edward did feel calm, relaxed even. No annoyance at all at Rosalie any more. "Your talent is interesting. To calm someone as you have done." Edward was usually annoyed most of the time with something and Jasper's ability had made his annoyance leave. It was strange and not something Edward liked. "I only know what you two have thought. I have not spoken to my family though I have picked up on their thoughts." There was not to much Edward really knew about Alice and Jasper. "You have recently been married correct and been together for a couple years?" Edward knew this was true but he made it sound more of a question. To further prove he could indeed read their thoughts in case they had any doubts.

Alice shook her head at Edward's questions. Obviously she had done a terrible job in explaining her ability. Edward was off course. "I see the future, want is to come, but not everything is always set in stone. It's constantly changing, some are more blurry than others because of undecided people or decisions changing, and sometimes that causes the background of things to blurr as well. Thing is, the weather is probably the onlything that I can predict that will stay the same. However, everything else is constantly shifting. One slight alteration in someone's choises and I get a new sight if the future." Alice hoped this was very clear for Edward.
"There have been many different visions about you and your coven. Each different in it's own way. But they stayed very similar as well... Almost every one showed me that we would meet your coven. I never imagined that we would be accepted into your coven so quickly, or at all. But I learn a lot from my preminitions... Like names, and such... Along with what you fed off of because I was very curious about your yellow eyes." She paused. "Subconsiously, I guess I had decided I was going to ask and thus I found out." It was very deep, she had never actually thougt about her visions that greatly before. She just hoped it made sense now for she had no idea how else she could explain it to him. Those visions had led her and Jasper to gradually adapt to animal blood, now being at least a week without human blood -- their eyes were still transitionning from a darkened red to a brown.
If no one had told Edward about Jasper, then how did he know his ability? Alice was very confused... And a little afraid. Afraid because she couldn't see what was coming, the vision wasn't important enough to come naturally to her. The unknown was scary. She was probably even more confused when Edward announced he had an ability to read minds. Could vampires have those kinds of abilities? Mental ones? She knew Jasper and her own did not effect the mind but she hadn't met other vampires with abilities besides her husband. "Really?" She said, slightly baffled. It was making sense to her, now. How else could he had been so coincidental? "What is that like, may I ask?" She was curious now.
Alice watched Edward entirely relax. She knew it was Jasper right away. But she couldn't help but still be slightly amazed by how effectively his ability worked on people. She always wondered how it must feel to have an emotion be suddenly set for you. Jasper had never changed her emotions, nor would he ever, she had a strong feeling about that. He had basically told her so the first day they met.
Alice smiled as Edward stoke and asked about them. Their wedding was right up there with the first day she met Jasper, both were very happy and special for her, as was every other day she got to spend with him. She looked up at Jasper with a genuine smile on her face. Perhaps she should let him talk a bit, and the subject of their relationship was definately one that would make him seem less... threatening?

As Edward asked so many questions regarding Alice's power, he thought back to when him and Alice had first met and he had bombarded her with questions as well. Her gift was intriguing, but Jasper was making sure Alice did not feel any irritation at answering so many questions, and from what he could sense, she was only too happy to explain herself. He too listened attentively to how she described her premonitions. Though Jasper had a good understanding of it -- as much as anyone could without actually experiencing it themselves -- he still listened to her quietly, while waiting for Edward's reaction. And then the truth was revealed: Edward had a gift. A rather unique one -- as were they all -- but this particular one put Jasper even more on guard. So he knew all their thoughts . . . whether they wanted him to or not. How much control did he have over this?
It was then that he sensed Alice's fear and confusion . . . he looked at her for a moment, making sure she was okay, not wanting her to be afraid of anything. Her question would settle Jasper's curiousity as well, but he still looked at her, as if to speak to her with his expression rather than asking if she was alright, out loud. His gaze shifted back to Edward when he commented on his gift. He was aware that he was using it, which did not surprise Jasper. Most vampires could tell . . . to some extent . . . that there was something abnormal occurring with their emotions. Humans were less suspicious for many were still sheltered from the paranormal world of vampires. Though he could sense Edward's dislike, he did not cease using it . . . not yet. Not until they had asked most of their important questions. In the same way, Jasper was certain Edward was searching through their minds, looking for potential threats, and looking for anything that he should be cautious of. For this reason, Jasper pushed away any thoughts about his past, as he was not prepared for Edward to know about this . . . yet.
Then, the mood shifted. The climate of emotions was something Jasper lived with every day, and he picked up on every slight change that someone felt. But now, it was for the better. It was happiness, for Edward had asked about their relationship, and he looked at Alice, as she smiled at him with the beautiful smile she had given him when they first met. It was what had instantly made him fall in love with her. He also knew that he was allowing him to answer the question, for the purpose of easing Edward's distrust for Jasper. He was grateful, but Jasper also was keeping his words to a minimum as he still did not feel comfortable around this vampire who was still a stranger to him.
Jasper looked down at their hands as they were linked together, and spoke while his gaze rested on them. "Yes. We married a little under two years ago." There was less tension in his voice as his mind wandered back to their wedding. Their very small, but completely perfect wedding. "We met in Philadelphia. And since that moment, have never been apart." Jasper felt himself soften a little, as it was nearly impossible for him to be so intense when talking about something so wonderful.

Edward nodded at Alice's explanation. "The future is constantly changing so you can not know for certain if something will happen. Anything can change the future with a simple decision." That was understandable for the future not to be set in stone. What will happen can be prevented if one knows about it. Edward wonder just how many visions Alice had of their family. Of course Carlisle and Esme, his mother and father as he would always consider them, would accept them openly there was very little that could change this fact. They would not turn someone down. "I wouldn't have expect anything less from Carlisle and Esme. They would accept anyone not caring for what they have done in the past." While this statement was mostly related for Edward for what he had done. Edward thought very highly of his parents. They were good people parents he probably didn't even deserve. He could have never asked for two better parents, two better people to accept him with everything he had done. Leaving them and then coming back being accepted so quickly. Because they did love him and thought he was better than what he believed he was.
Edward could tell Alice was confused from her thoughts. He suppose him knowing of Jasper's ability would be confusing. Edward knew there were other mental talents. The Volturi, Edward knew because of Carlisle's past. "There are many other mental talents other than my own." Edward had not actually met any of these vampires but knew they were all very powerful. "Some very powerful more so than my own." Edward's talent could be very annoying and he had no control over it. Edward was paying very close attention to both Alice's and Jasper's thoughts. "I have no control over my talent. I read thoughts rather I want to read them or not. I can try to ignore thoughts but some are harder to ignore than others." Mainly Rosalie when she wanted to try and annoy him. As she often did. "It can be annoying at times I can always hear thoughts it's like a big jumble of people speaking at once. But I can focus on a specific person's thought. I try to give others privacy when I can but at times that can be difficult." Edward tried not to listen to every thought around him it could be an annoyance and he wanted to give his family privacy if possible.
It was difficult to seem angry when Jasper was using his talent. "What questions do you want to ask? What more do you want to know?" Edward was looking at Jasper he was not very pleased with him using his ability on him. He didn't like having calmness surround him like it was. He wanted to be released to able to feel what he truly felt and not have his feelings controlled by this strange. For he truly did not really know Jasper. They may be apart of their coven but Edward did not completely trust them just yet. As annoyed as Edward was he could simply could not appear as he was. Jasper's talents was unique and not something Edward liked at the moment. Edward truly did not know what more Jasper wanted to know he could tell them all they wanted whether he was calm or not. It was not as if he was annoyed with them when he first came. It was mostly at Rosalie. Edward wondered how Jasper's talent work if he could not know why a person felt a certain way. If he could simply know they felt an emotions but not why they felt that way.
Edward was still annoyed and even if Jasper appeared less threatening as Edward had read in Alice's thoughts it did not change his annoyance. Edward read over both of Alice's and Jasper's thoughts about finding each other and getting married. He hoped they were not like Rosalie and Emmett wanting a wedding every few years. It grew tiresome at times. And very annoying as Rosalie always was. "Do you plan to have more than one wedding?" Edward hoped not he didn't want to have to deal with two couples planning weddings. That would be thoroughly annoying. It could be annoying having so many couples around and now with a third not that Edward minded. He simply did not think he was missing anything. For he had never been interested in anyone as the affection the others felt for each other.

Alice nodded as Edward started to understand her ability. Now that she was aware of his to a small extent, she knew that he was still a little confused he could just see some for himself when time came. She grinned as he told her there were many more mentally affective abilities in the vampire world. "Facinating." She was so curious about it now and curious about what other abilities were out there. But she had to focus as Ed gave her the answer to her question. His mind reading was intreaging but also is sounded like it was a bad thing -- even if his tone could not be bitter, thanks to Jasper. "Does it bother you? Reading minds?" She was serious and sinsere. It reminded her of when Jasper had asked if her visions were any burdden to her when they met.
Alice frowned at both boys. Edward wasn't happy to start out with and it hardly seemed like it was going to get better. This was a terrible first impression. She didn't want Jasper to come off as a bad person because he was controling Edward's emotions even when he wanted to be in rage and whatever he was thinking didn't make Ed any happier. She was also sure that Edward want like this usually, how could he? That attitude didn't seem like it would be accepted for too long in this house.
Jasper kept the story short and simple, not revealing too much details... Barely any, really. However, it still made her reminise a bit. She loved everyday she had spent with Jasper, utterly baffled by how she managed to live without him before they met, yet, during those 28 years she was still seeing him in her visions. He was a part of her life, always. She looked at Edward, breaking away from her reverie. "Why? It was hard for us to manage to have the one," They had to find proper wedding wear and other things including money... which they unproudly took from their prey... The only thing Alice had kept from that day was the guertle, it was easy to bring around, obviously. "Besides, I think it was absolutely perfect." She looked up at Jasper with the same smile as before. She saw no need for an other wedding.
