☥ Eleazar Denali ☥ Eleazar had been a vampire for about a month. He was a Nomad, completely unsure of what to do with himself. He did know he hated being alone. he had been a very sociable person while human, and now missed conversation and interaction as a vampire. He'd been watching this coven for about two days now. They seemed to be very powerful, yet there were so many of them and all located in one area. It was fascinating. He wished to speak with the leaders of this coven, to ask about them and study there ways. Using his gift he soon realized that all of the members were highly powerful vampires. He knew that his skill would be highly valuable to to this coven, and s he made his way, from his hiding spot toward one of the entrances he'd seen the hooded figures entered. He made it through the halls, surprised that he hadn't run into any other vampires on his travels. There was a large chamber at th end of the hall, the doors were shut tight. He didn't try to open the doors, just knocked a few times and waited for a reply.

Aro sat in the main chamber with his brothers Marcus and Caius. There was still so much to be done. A couple vampires had been causing problems Aro was choosing which of the guard to send to fix this problem. The vampires would be destroyed without any questions. The humans were becoming far to suspicious and soon may discover the truth. This was something Aro would not allow. Aro had decided on three guard members. They would easily dispose of the vampires and make sure any vampires in that area would know the Volturi would not allow anyone to break the rules. It was the most important rule keeping the secret. Something all vampires must obey. Marcus and Caius excused themselves as they decision was made.
Aro sat in one of the wooden thrones deep in thought. He wanted to gain more power there had to be some way to do so. Some talent Aro had yet to discover. There was so much he wanted. Talents that made them seem even more powerful. It was a matter of finding such talents this was the task. Aro had sent several guard members on searches before sometimes this was successful other times it was not. Aro's thoughts were put to a stop as a knock came. Aro order one of the nearby guards to allow whoever it was in.
Aro smiled as he saw the young vampire enter. He loved meeting new vampires allowing them to know who he was and the one in power, in control. "Hello!" Aro greeted enthusiastic as always. Aro stood from where he was of course the guard members were Aro's shadow never allowing him to be alone. "I'm Aro of the Volturi," Aro introduced. "Might I ask who you are and what interest you have in visiting us?" Aro questioend. A simple question, but a question expected to be answered. There were very few people who did not answer Aro's questions. To do so was not tolerated and would displease Aro. Something no one wants to do.

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥ Eleazar was a little shocked when he was greeted with a smile and a polite hello. He could see that this vampire was older, and he was obviously someone of power in the Volturi, the coven he had found. "It is a pleasure to meet you, sir." Eleazar said stopping a few feet away from the throne. "I am Eleazar Denali, a nomad of sorts." He introduced himself "I have observed your coven for a few days now and have noticed that your members all have, extraordinary abilities." He began, "I can see the powers of others, vampires mostly but I can also see the potential that humans hold." He stopped and looked at Aro wondering what he might be thinking at the moment. He knew that if Aro touched him, he'd find out all about him, every thought. What an interesting power, something he could see being very useful to person of power in such a coven as this. "I was hoping to be of use to you, to join your guard and learn your ways. " Eleazar told him

[[Kind of short. Sorry!]]
Aro smiled at the vampire as he introduced himself. "Ah, Eleazar how wonderful to meet you!" Aro was always enthusiastic when meeting new vampires. Aro always wanted other to know who exactly he was that he was in power and in control. To some extent he wanted others to fear him to know what could happen to them if they irritated the Volturi to much. Aro had come across a few nomads and some had even come to visit curious about the Volturi. There was really no reason to fear the Volturi if you have done nothing wrong, but all the same they were a coven to be feared. Aro was instantly interested as the vampire told him he had been observing the Volturi. How very curious.
Aro smiled when Eleazar told him about his power. "Splendid!" Aro exclaimed excited by this vampires' power. To able to tell what power a vampire had even humans. So much use this could bring him. The possibilities to even know humans to change them and know for certain they will have some talent that would be of use. "You will be most welcome into the coven. With such a talent there can be endless possibilities! You can know for certain if a human will have some talent that will be of use? Are you for certain about this?" Aro questioend. His voice rang with curiosity. He wanted to know everything about this vampires talent. An easy way would be to read his thoughts he would know everything. It just took on touch just for a few seconds he would have what he wanted.

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥
[thats okay my last post was short as well] Eleazar wasn't surprised that Aro was interested in him. He knew that his powers would be extremely valuable to this coven. "I do appreciate the welcome. To be honest being on my own wasn't something I enjoyed very much. Being of use, thats something I am glad for." Eleazar was kind of shocked by his own honestly, but why wouldn't he tell the truth. Aro, if he wanted could with a touch know this and far more if he wished to. "My power to detect human abilities is very true sir, although it takes a lot of concentration and is easier with some than others." Eleazar explained He knew he didn't have to exaggerate to sell himself to Aro, by the way he was smiling Eleazar was well aware of what the older vampire was thinking. He could look at humans, who would be no use besides for nutritional purposes and show them that they could be so much more. He could look at a vampire who might have been a threat other wise and tell Aro exactly what this vampire could do, making the situation far more under control than if they were going about things in the dark. Aro would have a fully stocked guard with amazing powers, with Eleazar's help that would be far easier than going about it without him. It was like they had there very own scent hound. Eleazar could bring out the things Aro needed, he didn't know that this also meant being obedient as a dog. His observations didn't let him see the exchange between master and pupil only that of the guard itself. He had no idea what he was getting into.

Aro loved to collect rare items and more importantly talents. If this vampires talent did exactly what he was telling him there could be endless possibilities. Not only for acquiring talents while that was important there could be so much more! If faced with a coven Aro could know how the leaders was simply by the bonds that Marcus felt and with Eleazar he would know what talents each member had. If there was anything that would be of use. They had faced several covens before during the centuries. Many have broken the rules some more dramatic than others. And not everyone was guilty of breaking the rule. They would on occasion allow those that were innocent to leave and watch as they destroyed the others. The Denali's came to mind. He destroyed their creator and the Immortal Child. There have not been any Immortal Children in centuries Aro hoped to keep it that way. If it was to happen again they would be destroyed immediately.
Aro smiled at Eleazar he was certain he will adjust well. Aro would make sure this one stayed. He had ways to do just that. Chelsea could easily make him feel loyal bond to the Volturi. There were a few ways to break this, but it would be difficult and rare. Why would anyone want to ever leave the Volturi? They would have power and be used in the Volturi. Otherwise, their talents would be of no use at all. It's best to use your talent in a way that will better serve the Volturi. "I am most certain you will enjoy your new life within the Volturi. There is much you can do. Thinking about the possibilities your talent can do to help us. It's splendid!" Aro loved gaining new talents and even more so when the vampires offered to join his coven. It really made his day to have this happen. Any talents were welcome, though if it was a useless talent it may be denied. They can only have the rarest of talents and everything but be used to their advantage.
"Humans can be used to sustain us or can be changed to help us." Humans were weak to Aro and he could care less what they did. As long as they satisfied his thirst. "There is very few we do change, but perhaps with your talent this may change slightly. You will know what talent a human will have exactly? How powerful it may be?" Aro questioend curious. He wanted to know how much he would know about a talent before he before he changed a human and know for certain it would be powerful.

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥ "I am most glad that you need me. I believe my life here will be one far more worthwhile then if I was on my own. I am in debt to you for accepting me." Eleazar commented He was a little worried that he wouldn't be able to live up to the expectations of the Volturi and Aro himself. His ability was usually right on, with vampires it was easy. Their powers were easy to see, as if some one was saying what they could do directly into his thoughts. "I can see the power humans will have if I concentrate. I can tell what their power will be. I can see what they will be able to do. I cannot always tell exactly how powerful they will be however." Eleazar was having a very difficult time trying to explain what he could do. Exactly how Aro seemed to want to be told. He really didn't know how it worked, it was different with every human, and therefore very confusing to him.

[[short, sorry!]]
"With such a talent of course we would accept you. It is amazing to be able to tell the talents of those around you. How useful you talent could be!" Aro replied excited with the possibilities this talent could bring the Volturi. To be able to know talents of vampires they faced. Of those who broke the rules. They could know what talent those opposed them have or if the Volturi were simply trying to gather more power. It would be so easy to find out if a vampire would be of use to the Volturi or not. And even humans! That alone was amazing. To almost know for certain if a human had a talent or not. Aro was certain Eleazar would be a great addition to the Volturi. His talent was certainly rare. He would remain loyal the Volturi. He had come willingly to join the Volturi he would remain loyal. Even if he did not Aro had Chelsea she could always make him feel loyal. It was an easy task. Everyone in the Volturi were made loyal. Nothing would ever change that. Aro would never have anyone who was not loyal it would cause many problems.
"Talents are rare to find," Aro explained. It seemed Eleazar was having trouble explaining. "I suppose it is possible to see humans talents. The talents as humans intensify as a vampire I believe." Aro had seen this a few times. They had changed a few humans who seemed promising some where some were not. It all just depended. With Eleazar it would be different. He would be more certain if a human would have a talent or not. "It is rare when we change humans, but perhaps we will change them a bit more with your talent." It was sometimes a hassle changing a human. Taming newborns. He allowed his guard to take care of this. It took about a year before they were in complete control of themselves.

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥ Eleazar nodded "I will do what I can for the Volturi. I have seen what you do. Keeping the peace is something I believe is very important as well." Eleazar bowed his head a little at the comments Aro was making. He did realize that he would be valuable but he wasn't exactly sure what was expected of him. What was the protocol for the Volturi and would he be responsible for doing? He figured Aro would be able to tell him but wasn't sure if he should ask questions. Finally he decided to risk it and asked Aro a question. "What would you have me doing here, if you don't mind my asking. It must not always be busy, is there something you do when there are times such as these?" He vaguely wondered if Aro might assume him a spy but after talking to him Eleazar doubted his ability to say never mind and get out. He was far too involved now.

"Keeping out existence a secret is of the utmost importance." Aro replied. Keeping their existence a secret to help make things peaceful, but it didn't last to long. There was always some vampire who wants to end their life or gone crazy, Aro was never sure which and honestly didn't care, that would have to be destroyed. Aro sent the guard to take care of these vampires. They could not allow anyone to reveal what that were. It would cause difficulties. The humans were only there to sustain them a few may be changed, but that was rare. Even then they had to control themselves as newborns. The creator would have to ensure they did not reveal what they were. If they did they would be destroyed immediately. They haven't ad to many problems with newborns and Aro planned to keep it that way. Something they had aimed to prevent since they took control.
The Romanians had ruled much differently from the Volturi. They had allowed humans to know of their existence. Times were a bit different a few centuries ago. They would never allow humans to know about them. It wouldn't be to much of a problem if humans were to find out. In fact humans did know. It was difficult to make humans think they were not real. They were still aware of vampires and would be for some time. Volterra was thought to be rid of vampires. Saint Marcus Day was created to remember this. Over time perhaps the rest of the world would be like this as well. Or even better not thinking anything of vampires thinking they were nothing more than legends. It would take many more years, centuries even, but it would happen. Aro would make sure they were a secret. Humans would not know about them in time.
Aro smiled at Eleazar as he questioned what he would be doing. "We are always looking for talents that will be of use to us. That will allow us to gain more power." Aro could never have enough power he would always want more. He would always be searching for more powerful, rare talents. With Eleazar it would be that much easier. He would know exactly who had such talents and even a few humans. "There are times when we are challenged. We are never defeated and quickly overpower those that oppose us. With you this will be that much easier. We will know if the bonds of the coven is weak or strong. We will know what talents we may be facing. If there is a powerful enough talent we may want to acquire that talent." Marcus' talent was very helpful it had helped greatly during the overthrow of the Romanians. They knew who was loyal and who wasn't. Who to take out first. How to weaken the Romanians. They also had Chelsea who would make others loyal to the Volturi. It was an easy process and Eleazar would be a wonderful addition to their 'family.'

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥
Eleazar expected that they wanted vampires to be kept a secret, but humans were not as low and stupid as most thought them to be. Underestimating a human, was a really bad idea. One day it might even cause their demise. "That is understandable, but I could imagine such a feat isn't easy to achieve." Eleazar said aloud, running his finger over his chin as he thought. Eleazar listened carefully to what Aro said and quickly picked out the fact that someone in the Volturi, could see the bonds between coven members. That was an extremely useful tool. He wondered what other powers people had besides the ones he had already seen. He remembered one in particular, a vampire named Chelsea was off with a small vampire. She was a female but posses all the looks of a little child. She was short with black hair and the classic red eyes. She could cause pain to others, but only in there minds. If someone could shield there mind, they would be safe from this girl child's powers. Chelsea had been with her, the whole time using her gift to push loyalty to the Volturi onto the girl child. It was amazing to see, and extremely useful to know about. Eleazar hope that if he fought hard enough he might be able to forgo this Chelsea woman's power. "You must have a very powerful coven here, a very loyal one as well. How do you manage that? If you don't mind my asking." He was interested to see if Aro might tell him about Chelsea. Maybe he'd just side step the question and say that the Volturi had there ways. Eleazar was expecting more of the second answer.
((Longest post to you and I'm sorry about that. I have a hard time being Eleazar in this way. Having to deal with a 'master' and not knowing what to expect. Cause the guard all call him master do they not? Will Aro discuss such rules with him? That might cause my muse for Eleazar to spring forward lol))

[[Um, I got really got in character for this post it seems]]
"It certainly is not easy and is difficult." Aro replied his tone relatively clam. "The Romanians were in power at one time I'm sure you are aware?" Aro's statement turned into a question. Aro was unsure how much this vampire knew about their history or even about them. He merely said had been observing them. Aro could read his thoughts, but it could be amusing to not know one's thoughts right away. "The Romanians ruled far different than we do. They allowed humans to know about us. They wanted humans to fear them." Aro didn't see why the Romanians wanted humans to know about them. It would make everything that much easier if they were a secret. If humans thought they were nothing more than a myth. It would take time, a lot of time, to succeed in this. To make humans think they were nothing more than an old legend. Aro was certain his would not happen anytime soon. Humans were superstitious and would believe anything. Aro, Marcus, and Caius had all made up a few ideas to make humans think they could be defeated. Even creating a day for such an event. Saint Marcus Day a celebration when Saint Marcus drove the vampires out of Volterra. Ironic yes, but it worked. The humans believed them.
"Humans are far to suspicious and it will take years possibly even centuries before they believe we are nothing more than a myth. We destroy any who openly reveal what we are. Humans often 'hunt' vampires, but they usually end up killing their own. It's ridiculous with all the ideas they come up with. We did help with that slightly, but they have added so much useless details it is rather humorous. Humans will believe in anything." Aro did not care for humans. They were simply there to sustain them and nothing more. They could be very annoying and to suspicious of them. However, it was different in Volterra. Humans really believed Marcus had run the vampires out of their city. The will indeed believe in anything. It can be helpful and annoying. It would take many more centuries before humans believed they were nothing more than a legend some made up story. How wrong they would be to assume that, but this is what Aro was aiming for. To know for certain humans did not know of their existence. They could add whatever story they wanted as long as they didn't believe in it.
Aro smiled as Eleazar said 'powerful' and 'loyal' of course those were words that were the Volturi. They were the most powerful coven and would remain that way. "We most certainly are powerful. And always gaining more power. We must remain powerful and never appear weak. We are never to be challenged or irritated. To do so would result in being destroyed." Aro loved his power and he loved to talk about it. Any who broke the rules or challenged them were usually destroyed. Some challenges were not always destroyed it often depended on this situation. "Every one in the guard is to be loyal. If not then their is the possibility to be destroyed. I'm certain I won't have this problem with you." Aro was simply warning this vampire. He was going to be apart of the coven and he would be loyal he would make sure of this. Loyalty was needed and expected. He could not have anyone become disloyal. It would cause unwanted complications. And why would anyone risk being disloyal? To know you had a good chance of being destroyed. Of course if they wanted to leave Aro may allow that, but why would anyone want to leave? There were very few Aro would willingly let go. He hated losing power. He wanted to keep what he had and gain much more.
"We have ways on keeping one loyal." Aro replied on the how part. There were several different ways Aro could make one loyal. He knew their every thought he knew everything about each of his guard. He would have to know everything before he allowed them to really be apart of this guard. Make certain they were wanting to be apart of this coven. Aro would have to read Eleazar's thoughts eventually, but for now he could wait. Chelsea would have to make sure this vampire was loyal to them. With Eleazar's talent he probably already knew of this talent. If not he would eventually find out. "It is important each member of the guard is loyal. We will make sure everyone is loyal and will remain loyal." With Chelsea it was rare to not have someone be loyal to them. Chelsea would constantly tighten their bonds to the Volturi. Make them feel obligated to the Volturi make them want to be apart of the Volturi. It often worked when they wanted to gain talents that were unwilling to join.

Eleazar knew far too well about the Romanians. He had lost a friend due to humans attacking and actually succeeding in destroying his friend. He didn't think that it was safe to let the humans know about their kind unless it was someone he knew he could trust. Eleazar wouldn't risk his life or others in order to give power to a bunch of helpless humans. "The Romanians were far too careless." Eleazar said his voice tinged with anger.
He stood a little straighter and listened intently about what Aro was saying about destroying vampires who gave away their secret. Eleazar was all about keeping their existence a secret to a point. If it was someone that would eventually be turned into one of them, he didn't mind as much if they knew but he wasn't about to say it aloud to Aro.
"I doubt you'll have any problems with me." Eleazar agreed, he would be useful to the Volturi which was one of the reasons he had decided to try and join. When deciding this he realized that although it would be a gratifying thing to do, it was also dangerous if he were to step on the wrong toes, so to say.
He was also interested in testing his ability further and being in the Volturi, he'd be able to do that. He could see masses of humans and declare if they had power of use. He could try and convince Aro if nessasary the usefulness of someone that might other wise be destroyed.
If Aro said he had ways of making people loyal to him, he was going to believe him. When Aro said things, Eleazar didn't doubt them for a minute. He knew the Volturi was strong, he couldn't wait to see how strong. He couldn't wait to see the Volturi in action.

Aro smiled at Eleazar's comment on the Romanians. "Yes they were. The very reason they fell. Why we were able to take control. Why we are in power and are far better than the Romanians had ever dreamed of being!" Aro loved talking about power. He enjoyed being better than the Romanians. One of the reasons he had allowed them to live. He wanted to prove to them they were better. And they were by far. Hiding their secret from the humans was of the utmost importance. They handle everything far different from the Romanians. They wanted humans to know about them. It was foolish and to much of a hassle. Humans were bothersome when they knew to much and were all to willing to believe in anything they were told. So easy to trick, but it was difficult to make them believe vampires were nothing, but a myth. Because of the Romanians it would take centuries to make them think otherwise.
"I most certainly hope not." It was unlikely this vampire would not be loyal. After all he had Chelsea who could strength his bonds to the Volturi. Make him feel loyal, make him feel like he needs to remain. Chelsea was among one of the most valuable guard members they had. She ensured they did not lose anyone that every felt bond to the Volturi. It was important to keep loyalty to make the guard feel a need to be here. As power-hungry as they were they needed the guard. They needed them to ensure they kept some peace in their world. Make certain everyone followed their rules any who did not were destroyed. Aro sent the guard for such matters if he did not have the guard then he would have to do this personally. To much of a job for one person. The guard were very important and Aro would not risking losing any of them.
Aro was interested in Eleazar's talent. "I am most curious about your talent." Curiosity ran in Aro's tone. He was wondering how it worked how close to someone he needed to be. It was truly fascinating to find out more about talents. Even more so about new ones that joined the Volturi. Aro was certain this talent would be of great use. Not only could he detect vampires, but humans as well. So useful! Aro was not to fond of changing humans after all they could never be to certain if they would have a useful talent or not, but this vampire, this talent wold help with this. "Perhaps you could explain a bit more? Is there a certain distance you have to be to another?" Aro wanted to know so much more! He was always wanting to learn and figure out everything.

Eleazar smiled as Aro went on about how much better they were than the Romanians had ever been. he of course agreed with that. From his short time watching the Volturi he learned that they were far Superior to all other vampire coven's who had tried before them to gain power control and keep it. "I agree, just from my short observation of the Volturi thats quite easy to see." Eleazar nodded
"As for my ability, I can use it from quite a distance. I can see your power Sir, it will be helpful, you can just read my thoughts in an instance where I read another's abilities and then there will be no spoken communication." Eleazar thought about it, it really was the ideal situation. If they didn't have to say anything out loud then it would be far more prudent and efficient when others were involved.
"Shall I show you?" He questioned, "Is there someone around that I could read for you?" He couldn't feel or smell any one in the general area but he figured the best way to explain to Aro was to show him. Seeing was believing after all.
((ooc: Maybe we could bring a random not in the book human to pull in and one of us could play as them. Like whatever the fake person says in italics? Or we could ask some one to join the thread? It's always more fun to have more than two you know? lol))

Post by Jane Volturi on Sept 25, 2009 2:00:41 GMT -5
Jane loved it at Volterra, and everyone knew this. Well at least see this, but at times it was rather boring and not all that interesting as it usually was. At times like this she still loved Volterra and wouldn’t change it for the world. She planned on stay with the Volturi all her life which would be forever as she was a vampire and they lived forever unless destroyed. The Volturi were one of the main people who destroyed vampires but this wasn’t for any reason it would have been for breaking there rules. There were many ways they could do this, from telling a human about vampires to making an army.
Every vampire knew this and most didn’t disobey then but others were some what scared of getting caught. But yet they still did it. Today was one of those days were nobody needed destroying well someone did but Jane wasn’t one of the guards chosen to go. Which made her quite unhappy as she now had to stay back and do nothing while some of the others got to have all the fun. Jane decided she would go and have a friendly ‘chat’ to Aro about the reason she was not taken with the others. Sighing Jane moved from the front doors and down one of the narrow corridors.
These lead to the main chamber where Jane had guessed Aro would have been. He spent most of his time there. So she knew he would most likely be there making this her first place to look. Jane finally got to the entrance of the main chamber and past one of the guards who was looking after the door. Doing what most guards did, which was of course guarding. The Volturi were one of the most powerful vampire covens, making them a target from other vampires. Mostly because the Volturi had killed one of there loved ones and wanted revenge for doing so.
Jane burst though the doors pushing both open at the same time and let them slam shut behind her. ”Aro I need to…” Jane started noticing he had a guest and decided to be quite. Jane moved towards Aro and stood by his side with a small smile. She eyed the guest as she done this, as he was someone she hadn’t met or seen before. She gave him a small nod before beginning to speak. ”Hello,” was all she said, she didn’t no what else to say to him as she didn’t even no the reason for him being there.

Aro loved meeting a vampire who agreed with Aro even without knowing that much about the Volturi. But of course they were far grander than the Romanians. "As you should. We are so much grander than they ever will." Aro knew the Volturi were even now far more powerful than the Romanians had even dreamed of being. "And you will know just how true that statement is even more so." Aro loved gaining talents and gaining Eleazar would be a wonderful addition. Aro smiled at the suggestion of knowing the talents around him and all he would need is just one touch. No talking. That would be most wonderful. "So many advantages that could give us!" Aro was excited to find out how much use this power would be.
"Jane, dear one, what wonderful timing!" Aro said pleased to see his dear one. Jane was one of the most valuable guard members he had. Aro looked at Eleazar he was so very curious to see how this power worked. Just one touch and he should be able to know about others talents be more aware if he was facing someone who was challenging them or breaking the rules. There was so many possibilities! Aro turned his attention back to Eleazar. "I would so love to see how your talent works exact. Jane is one of our prized guard members." Aro was curious if he knew exactly what kind of talent she had. Aro held out his hand for Eleazar to take. "If you don't mind." It wasn't like Eleazar could refuse Aro he wanted to know exactly how this power worked. Know how much use it would be.

☥ Eleazar Denali ☥ Eleazar nodded. Soon he would know just how much power the Volturi had. He would see it in his fellow guard members, see it in the fear the very name struck into others eyes, and see in as a rouge vampire begged for their lives at Aro's feet. Eleazar didn't react at all as the doors slammed open. He stayed how he was, standing, facing Aro, until the new entry to the room came to stand beside him. She looked young, like a child almost yet she was quite beautiful. Eleazar wasn't naive enough to take her child-like innocence at first glance. He knew right away the power the vampire had. It seemed most devious such a innocent looking vampire, having the ability that she did. Eleazar could see that hers was a mind trick, she just had to barely concentrate on you and she'd create an illusion of pain that would knock you off your feet, begging her to stop. Eleazar knew also that even if it was all in his head, he wouldn't be strong enough to stay standing if her power were to be unleashed upon himself. He in turn nodded to the vampire as she first nodded to him. He did not speak however, he would let Aro say the first words, make the first move. He heard her name, as Aro said it, Jane. Eleazar could tell right away that Aro held a fondness for the female vampire. For her talent and her loyalty most likely but maybe even a little bit for herself as well. Eleazar didn't look at Jane at all as he stepped forward and placed her finer tips at the center of Aro's palm. Eleazar knew he was reading all his thoughts, every single one. He also knew that Aro would hear his thoughts on all the guard members he had seen and other vampires unrelated to the Volturi whom he had met and read, as well as Jane's talent. He waited like that for a moment, once again for Aro to make the next move.
((ooc: I'm so sorry! I hope you haven't been waiting for my reply for long!))

Jane waited patiently for either one of them to reply, she wasn’t normally patient. But Aro was in the room and they also had a guest with them. She didn’t want to ruin the Volturi’s reputation, they had worked hard to get where they were. Ruling all vampires and making the rules for them to follow. And also making sure they are followed and if no them those who broke them were destroyed. The Volturi had a lot of power; this was because of Aro’s need for power which most vampires knew of. They had convinced the humans that vampires were just a myth most believed this. Jane didn’t want to lose all of this in anyway otherwise she would most likely be destroyed.
Aro was the first to speak out of the two others in the room. This didn’t come as a surprise as this was what usually happened as Aro was one of the Volturi leaders after all. ”Jane, dear one, what wonderful timing!” Aro said seeming pleased to see her. Jane smiled at him and turned to look at the other vampire in the room just as Aro had. She listened as he began to speak to him, hoping she would find something out about the male vampire. ”I would so love to see how your talent works exact. Jane is one of out prized members. If you don’t mind.” Aro said more to the vampire then her.
Jane didn’t exactly know what Aro was going on about but she did love the fact that he talked about her that way. She always did, to hear someone say they were proud of them or that they were a prized member was always good. Alec said things like that to her but it was never as good as when Aro would have said it. Jane never really had a father figure as she was turned at a rather young age but having Aro around made her fill that empty hole in her heart. Most children liked to make their parents proud of them, and Jane wasn’t any different from them.
The male vampire had just nodded to Jane in return; he didn’t even say a word. But there must have been some sort of reason as to why this was. Jane watched the vampire carefully, he had looked at her and she saw something in his eyes. For Aro to be speaking with him, he must have had some sort of talent otherwise Aro wouldn’t be interested. ”What! Do you think your doing?” Jane ordered after she realized what the vampire was doing when he was staring at her. She didn’t move as he moved towards Aro but she would if she needed to.

Aro smiled as he was able to read all of Eleazar's thoughts. He knew everyone he had met everything he had done. The talents he had come across. What he thought of the Volturi and the talents he had seen during his short visit here. It was truly fascinating! Aro did pay to much attention to thoughts that were of no use to him. He knew them yes, but he did not think about them. What he was concerned about was his talent. Aro broke the contact that only lasted for a few seconds. That's all it took to get the information he wanted. "Wonderful!" Aro was delighted with Eleazar's talent. Aro glanced at Jane a smile on his face it was obvious he was pleased with this new addition. It was truly amazing to be able to know one's talent with out asking or reading their thoughts.
Aro could already imagine the possibilities such a talent could bring. If they were to face a vampire or even a coven with Eleazar Aro would be aware of what they were facing. Know what talents they had know for certain if any of them would be of use. The possibilities were certainly endless! And find talents how much easier that would become! "Such a talent will have much use." Aro was already planning on what to do with such a talent. Aro was certain Eleazar would quickly become a valuable talent. He would remain loyal the Volturi as well. Aro would have to speak with Chelsea soon. He needed to make sure Eleazar was loyal strength his bond make him want to be with the Volturi, make him feel bond to them.
Aro looked at Jane as she order to know what Eleazar was doing. "Calmly, dear one, there is no reason to fret." Aro had enjoyed seeing how Eleazar's power works and would no doubt be using it much. "Eleazar has a very powerful talent. He is able to know what a vampire's talent is. Even humans! Isn't that wonderful?" Aro answered before Eleazar had a chance to reply. He was very pleased having this talent with in his guard. "There is so many possibility young Eleazar can bring to our little household!" Aro was most looking forward to using Eleazar's talent. To be able to know about talents by simply being near them. There were so many possibilities so many uses. Aro loved gaining power and Eleazar would allow them to have that many more talents.

Eleazar stepped back as Aro began to speak. He had clearly read all his thoughts and Eleazar was distracted by thinking about how anyone could possibly handle knowing every trivial thought another had. He supposed rather correctly that Aro was well accustomed to his ability and knew what to look for and what to discard.
Eleazar was quite surprised when the other vampire, Jane became so defensive. Didn't she trust her master enough to know he wouldn't let some stranger harm her? He looked at her for a moment with a raised eye brow before looking at Aro again.
Eleazar nodded as Aro told her there was no reason for worry. Eleazar would not harm another of the members of the Volturi, doing so was to weaken something he was now a part of and was a bad idea, plus he didn't want an enemy.
Eleazar hid his disdain at being called 'young' although he knew he was going to be the youngest member. He didn't feel young.
He listened to Aro talk about him and felt awkward. He was a new toy, hopefully he wouldn't disappoint or break. He had to live up to these new standards and maybe even go beyond them. He wanted to impress, to be useful. He hoped that the Volturi wouldn't be a constant competition between members, all trying to catch the leaders eye. If it was Eleazar was perfectly happy standing back and helping only when needed his ability. He would not cause discord between him and his guardsmen if he could help it.
