When human, Cassidy was a very sweet, fun-loving girl. She knew how to defend herself and was very smart. She didn't put up with bullies or anyone who was mean, and was quick to make friends. Cassidy loved sports and music. She could play the violin and knew how to play many different sports well. She liked to keep up an appearence, but knew how to get down and dirty. Cassidy loved little kids, and one day dreamed of having a little girl.
Most of her friendly ways disappeared after she changed. She no longer cared for innocent things and would kill without hesistation. She doesn't feel bad about walking into an elementary school and killing everyone and everything in sight. Cass lost interest in music for a while after she changed, but slowly she is coming back around, and is currently missing her violin. She still loves to have fun, but her idea of fun is much different now. She drinks almost every night and travels often.
The discovery of her power has had an impact on her personality as well. She has loosened up a bit, and likes to play around with her food. She had become cruel and lovely at the same time. She has little respect for anyone besides herself, but then again she hasn't met anyone important since she was turned. Cass loves a good fight and prefers war over peace. But, since her first dowsing vision, Cassidy has more of a split personality. Her choatic, cruel personality is her main one, but weakness and hunger can pull out a defenceless, scared little vampire more like a little human child than a blood-thirsty, newborn dowsing one.

Cass's type of dowsing is basically like having a vision of where an object is. When she's having the visions, Cassidy's eyes flush from crimson to purple. To find people, Cassidy has to have seen, heard the voice of, or possess an item that belongs to that person. Descriptions and pictures will not count. The downsides to her power is mostly power drainage. But most specifically, after major visions Cassidy is momentarily blind, dizzy, and depending on what the vision is about, may need blood immediately.

Cassidy has only been a vampire for four years, and she is already forgetting many things about her human life. She had been born by the beach, taught Tae Kwon Do from a young age, and had a little brother whom she used to live with. That is all she can recall; and even those memories are dull and fuzzy.
The night Cass was turned, she was out to a movie with her friends. On the way out to the parking lot, Cassidy had been trailing behind; it was late and all of her friends were quietly leaning against their boyfriends while they walked to their cars. Cass didn't have a date and wasn't all that tired, but she didn't want to break the silence. It was then a man wrapped his arm around her and covered her mouth. Before she had time to do anything, he yanked her to a dark corner with inhuman speed and bit into her neck.
Cassidy's scream was muffled when another man's hand took the place of her drinker's; firm and determined. Her thrashing died down and the man instrucked the first to stop. After a few moments, he obeyed and the two swept her up and ran a red truck. The threw her in just in time for the screaming to start, accompanied by writhing pain. In-between screams the men slipped in and drove the truck to a forest where no one would hear her pleas for help. Sobbing, Cassidy laid on the forest floor for three days. The last thing the men said to her before they left that night was, "We are giving you a gift. Immortality, my dear. Enjoy your new life."
After the three days of agonizing pain, Cassidy emerged a blood-thirsty, crazed vampire whose first thought was not of her creators, but of the nearest blood-filled human she could eat. With new speed, Cass found her way to a playground not far from the forest. School was out and there were a few middle-schoolers hanging out by the elementary playground. Without thought of secrecy or stealth, Cassidy charged over to the nearests boy. When he looked to greet her, his eyes bulged and she bit into his neck. After finishing him, Cassidy tracked down the other two kids whom had not ran far enough to escape. It was a bloody scene, and the cops blamed it on animal attacks.
After that, Cassidy left the city. Her personality had been split and changed by the transformation, and she thought only of the convience a more rural area would give her. Cass traveled down to North Carolina, and stayed in the houses of families she'd killed and used for feeding. She no longer cared for the weak as much as she did human, and therefore felt no guilt from killing humans. Soon after her move to NC, Cassidy discovered an amazing power she did not know she had. The newborn vampire was able to touch things of the houses she stole and see in her head the bloody, dead bodies of the objects' owners. The next few years consisted of experimenting with her power and discovering its drawbacks. Although she is not considered a newborn anymore, Cass never really saw a need to control her thirst. Although she has control over herself most of the time, she does not hold herself back much when human blood is present.
