[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Look:. Demetri has a pale, chalky complexion. His hair is light brown and runs slightly passed his ears. He has a narrow face, high cheek bones and a bit of a pointed jaw. His eyes vary between black when he is extremely thirsty, and crimson red when he has just had a meal. His posture is often extremely straight, a little too straight for at times, it appears that his chin is up in the air which shows his superiority mindset he has towards others. His is usually clad in a smoky gray robe, as it is part of his uniform as a guard, however his normal attire is often sophisticated and proper. He holds an English accent and is very articulate in his speech.

[/u][/center][/size][/font].:Basic Personality:. Polite. Reasonable. Proper. Superior. These are the main characteristics of Demetri. He speaks politely to others, appearing to be patient with them, though it wears thin at times. He speaks very properly, demonstrating his high education and sophistication. He is reasonable in the sense that he tries to react in a situation most logically, rather than become irrational and force everything to unravel in unanticipated ways. He is reserved when need be, and this may cause him to look a little uptight. He engages in physical discourse when it is required of him. As a guard, he possesses the ability to fight with skill, however it is not his strongest skill as a vampire.
Demetri has a superior attitude towards others, the Volturi vampires being the exception. He feels that he is more intelligent and educated than most other vampires and obviously humans. He respects the Volturi, especially the leaders, and obeys every command he is given, but any vampires outside of this group, he feels are beneath him. He is filled with pride over the fact that he is a Volutri guard, and that he possesses a special ability which makes him the most skilled at tracking. He enjoys intimidating others, but not in obvious ways for he does not go out of his way to do so.

.:History:. Demetri was born into a very prestigious family in 1532, Athens Greece. His father was of Greek descent, and most unusual at the time, his mother was of English descent. He was the middle child of five; four sisters and one brother. His brother and him would be in constant rivalry to prove to their father that he was the better son, and Demetri felt that more often then not, he was the successful victor. His family was extremely rich and he was given many privileges that came along with money and status. Education was a priority for him, and so he was taught in the comfort of his home. He was taught mathematics, science, literature, philosophy, etc. He excelled in his studies, enjoying acquiring knowledge for the way he spoke and the amount he was educated was a status symbol and he would make no secret of this. And as greek culture emphasized, he was also required to learn one instrument and so chose the violin. Because his family was so rich, they had hired help, otherwise known as servants, to work basic domestic duties in his household. All his wealth and status, Demetri felt he was superior to most others. He spoke as an educated person would, dressed as a rich person would, and acted as a wealthy person would.
Because his mother was originally from England, he would often travel back and forth between the two places. He tended to spend more time in England because his family needed someone to maintain the estate there, and so he would gladly volunteer to prove that he was mature and educated enough to run an estate on his own. His sisters and brother mostly resided in Greece, even after all of his sisters were married.
One of Demetri`s favorite hobbies was hunting. He started hunting with his father at a very young age, and as the years progressed and he became more experienced, he became one of the best hunters in Greece. This was yet something else that Demetri often boasted about, and created more of a superior ranking between him and a commoner. It was one particular time that Demetri was hunting that would change his life, or end it. He was out in the rural areas, in the concealment of trees and woods where he began his hunt. He was chasing a particular animal when his tracking skills began to follow something much worse, and far more menacing. He spend hours following the sporadic trail and when he finally caught up with his prey, Demetri quickly became the victim. The creature did not waste any time with him and before he knew it, Demetri was lying on the ground, feeling the blood being drained, or sucked rather, from his body. Had a group of other humans not distracted the very on edge vampire, Demetri would have been dead. But he more lucky than that, or more unlucky, depending on how one would see his situation.
Demetri stumbled to a concealed area where he spent the next several days in absolute pain stricken agony. The memory of these days left him shortly after they ended, and once he became conscious again, he felt the vampire instincts consume him. His search for blood was short, and with each victim he consumed, came relief void of any regret or shock at what he had become. He spent the next several of years alone, fulfilling his thirst as his knowledge of this vampire world he had been forcefully introduced to became more and more familiar to him. Once his new born instincts began to diminish, he saw hunting for humans as something that came far too easily to him. For that reason alone, he decided to turn each hunt into a game. He would follow a victim, no matter how far overseas they went; in fact to him, the further the better. The further they went, the more of a challenge they were to catch, however distance become little of an issue and Demetri found that even this challenging hunting game was far too amateur for him.
He made no attempt to contact his family. News of his death reached back to Greece, saying that he was killed in a horrible hunting accident. Demetri did nothing to disprove this rumor, and continued on with his life, traveling the world, searching for ways to occupy his time as he continued to strengthen his tracking skills which had become exceedingly enhanced, soon deeming him an expert at this particular ability. His skill began to become known to the vampire world, as he came across others of the same species. It did not take long before the Volturi expressed an interest in him, and it took even less time for Demetri to accept the offer they granted to him. He was bored of traveling alone, with no challenge in his life and so accepted to be part of the Volturi guard which would give him status, and new ways to occupy his time. He was trained to be a fierce fighter, though it was not Demetris greatest strength, he still became fully trained to qualify as a guard. He now remains extremely loyal to them, obeying every order, and using his unique ability to the Volturis utmost advantage. [/blockquote][/blockquote]
