It had been many months since Eleazar had seen the girl run off safely into the woods of Sweden. He often found his mind wandering back to her lovely face and thick brown hair. This was causing issues with his work. Hardly ever able to concentrate when it was needed. He'd go along on a trip and look everywhere for her face. Once stopping someone in the street and calling attention to his obsession of finding the girl. He knew that he was completely in love with her. Never before had he believed in love at first sight. This was a myth, a fairy tale for children. However Eleazar could explain his feelings for the beautiful girl in no other words. He loved her. It was not only lust, for of course there was a little of that too. His love for her over powered all he did. He'd be working on a project for the Volturi but his heart wouldn't be in it. He was so lost to thoughts of her. What was she doing right at this moment? Was she safe? How could he find out if she was safe? Would the other members know? Would he survive asking them? So many questions tumbled though his head. Her. She was the center of his world now. He wondered if the leaders were beginning to notice his strange obsession. He was pretty sure Aro knew. Aro had to read his thoughts all the time. There was no hiding how he felt.

Aro was well aware of Eleazar and his thoughts. It was a problem and there had to be something that could be done about this. Aro had let the girl go in exchange Eleazar was to remain with the Volturi. No matter how useless he was becoming. He had better learn his place perhaps he loved this girl, perhaps she was even his mate but it made no difference to Aro. Mates in the past had made difference to him and he made sure that situation had been taken care of. Marcus had unfortunately lost his mate, Aro's own sister, though no one knew of the truth behind this nor would any ever find out. This would only prove how power-hungry Aro was and mates certainly was not an excuse to not concentrate on the Volturi. Of course Aro loved his wife, Sulpicia, deeply and he would not want to lose her. He was selfish in wanting her and power but they all knew he would give her up for power. That choice had not come and he did not think it would ever come. For what reason would he ever have to choose between his wife and power?
Regardless if this girl could be Eleazar's mate it was no excuse for him to not focus on his work. He was a guard member, he was apart of the Volturi. He was expected to fulfill his duty and do anything Aro or any of his brothers requested of him. To not do so was not acceptable. Aro wanted Eleazar to focus on the Volturi to focus on what it was for him to do. His talent was far to vaulable to lose the very reason he did not destroy the girl. The girl had caused to much problems with how Eleazar was perhaps it would have been better to destroy them both. Eleazar was not doing what he should but Aro would not give up this talent. It was far to useful it allowed Aro to gain more talents to allow the Volturi to become that more powerful. After all Aro would do absolutely anything for power there was no question just how far he was willing to go. There would not be a price to high for power. Eleazar was a guard member and he would remain as such. He will start becoming of more use to the Volturi Aro would make certain of this.
Aro was in the main chamber his brothers were elsewhere in the castle. Aro glanced at one of the guards and order they bring Eleazar before him. Aro wanted Eleazar to fulfill his duties. His talent was very important. It allowed the Volturi to gain more talents Aro would not risk losing this talent. He was far to vaulable the only reason he had not had that girl destroyed. It might have been for the best anyways Eleazar would have acted the same but he would not be with them. Chelsea's power would no longer work on him and it was very frustrating to know this. Chelsea's talent always worked but not this time. Eleazar may be aware of just how displeased he was with him. He had better be at the very least aware of this it seemed he knew nothing else around him. Aro kept his appearance calm and calculated. It was easy to tell he was trying to thinking something over. Aro was not sure what he could do about Eleazar there was much to consider. Perhaps if he had a small 'chat' with Eleazar he would know exactly what to do.

Eleazar wasn't surprised to find a member of the guard come to him, telling him that Aro wished to speak with him. Aro was not unaware of Eleazar's increasing devotion to this girl. For as his devotion for her increased, his devotion to the Volturi seemed to fade away. Seeing as Aro had to read his thought quite often as was necessary to the job Eleazar preformed, he knew all about what was going on in Eleazar's head. All those moments where Eleazar should have been focusing , being the dedicated servant, that were filled of thoughts of her instead. The precious color of her hair, the soft curve of her lips. He could not get her out of his head. He thought he could even, like the vampire Carlisile he had heard so much about, sware off of human blood to be with her. Something extreme like that, anything at all really, to get to hold her in his arms. He longed to trace her face with his finger's, commit her to memory in every way possible. Her scent, oh how sweet she must smell. Her taste...he wanted to know her in every way. Following the guard to where Aro was waiting, Eleazar thought about Chelsea and how hard things had been for her lately. Because of him and his love for the girl, Chelsea's power had stopped working on him. He didn't know if it was because he could see exactly want her power was and how it worked that he had managed to gain a resistance against her. It must have been more than that however, due to the recent way it had stopped affecting him. He sometimes wished her powers would work. Then he wouldn't feel this ache to be closer to the girl, to know she is safe, to hold her. He also wouldn't have to worry about Chelsea dealing with Aro's displeasure that her power was failing to work on one of his needed members. Entering the chamber where Aro sat alone besides the few scattered guards, Eleazar bowed his head slightly in greeting. "You have called for me Sir?" Eleazar asked, although knowing perfectly well what Aro wished to speak to him about. He had started to call Aro Sir again. Only Sir however as Master felt to formal and Eleazar no longer felt this way about Aro. Yes he was older and powerful and of course deserved respect but Eleazar would no longer refer to him as master. He had not called Aro by his first name since that one time he had felt the need to in order to save the girl. In order to let Aro know exactly how serious he was about the choice he had given him. Let her live of I walk. Now he stood before Aro waiting to see what the other vampire would say about the past few months and Eleazar's declining performance.

Eleazar's talent was useful. It was not something Aro wanted to lose. The reason he had not destroyed the girl months ago. Aro never gave second chances and the only reason he had to this immortal was because Eleazar had threaten to leave the Volturi. Eleazar's talent was not something that could be easily replaced. He could sense talents make everything that much easier on him. Eleazar could even sense what talents humans may have this proved to be very useful. It was certainly more diffiuclt but if a human proved to have some sort of talent this would be something Aro would not pass up. He would make sure to have the human changed. Aro loved collecting rare and vaulable talents. His talent also allowed Aro to know of vampires talents. If they were to face a coven or nomad vampire Aro could not if any of them had talents. To know what they were facing and decide if any of their talents would be of use the Volturi. Aro loved adding to his collection.
Aro's eyes turned toward Eleazar as he entered the main chamber "Yes." Aro's voice was completely calm not showing any of his displeasure with Eleazar. What do now? What could he possibly do to make Eleazar become loyal. There was only so much he could do. The girl that consumed Eleazar's thoughts had been free to go. All because Aro had been unwilling to lose Eleazar. But now it seemed that had been of no use at all. He was completely useless. What would be the best course of action? How to regain the former loyal guard member. Eleazar use to be very loyal willing to do anything Aro would request. He still would on occasion yes but not always. There were times when he would be consumed with thoughts for that girl. That girl was the cause of this entire problem. Aro should have destroyed her without considering what might happen if Eleazar was to leave. For he was completely useless right now. If he had left it wouldn't have mattered for the way his loyalty has changed.
Aro was also very displeased with Chelsea. She was trying to make Eleazar once more loyal. Aro had read this in her thoughts but that did not change his displeasure. She should be powerful enough to change Eleazar's loyalty make him want to be apart of the Volturi. Make him want to do whatever Aro would ask of him. To call him 'master' once more to be loyal and obeying. Not have his thoughts clouded with that girl. Aro could threaten him. Threaten to send Demetri to hunt the girl and kill her but this would only make him want to leave once more. "You actions and thoughts are most displeasing. Something must be done about this." Aro kept his tone just as calm as before now showing any displeasure he had with Eleazar. Aro would figure out what to do exactly. He had to figure out how exactly to handle the situation. It was not often when one of the members of the Volturi became disloyal this was a very troublesome matter.
