He felt Bella's arms wrap around him, something he never thought he'd get again. Wasn't she dead? he asked himself. No, she was here. She couldn't be. his arm embraced her and pushed her to the side, he heard them. They were walking this way, they made no hesitation. Alice found her way nearer to them, she was closer and would get here first. Edward stopped breathing, he started in the direction of the alley that lead to the castle. It was more of an entry way then an ally but either way, it covered the skin of all human's in this world, aside from Bella. The darkness his the truth. Go figure.
Edward, at every moment kept himself between the guards and her. Maybe on some level they wouldn't see or smell her. Right, that was a laugh. His frame didn't move, he was a cold statue that's eyes burned in the darkness. He knew Bella couldn't make a run for it, there was no way. If it was one of them Edward might of taken on the challenge but then he would surely die. Where would that leave his precious Bella? They were close, he could see them now, dressed to hide their skin and every lie they held to these people. Yeah, the Cullens lied but they did not have this much power over Forks. This was too far, in his mind that was.
Finally he took a step back to get closer to Bella, but still stand between. This could be the end of both of them. He held Bella, making sure she was okay, looking at her for just a moment to see her beautiful face. This was something that had gone too far. In the end, he was glad he got to see her one last time. He just wished he could get her and Alice out of here and he would be to take the beating that was around the corner... the death.

Bella pushed into his hard chest. She couldn't get enough of his smell, the way he felt, the way he looked at her. She knew the danger wasn't over though. Edward had tried to expose himself and had nearly succeeded. She could feel they were not alone by the way Edward tensed. She kissed him, hard, before looking past him at the approaching shadows.
He put himself between her and she figures. She backed up so her back was against the stone wall of the archway. She could feel the cold stone through her green cotton button down as she pressed up against it. Her dark jeans were still wet from the fountain and her blue sneakers squished under her feet as she backed up. She cursed herself for running through the fountain, but she really wasn't thinking at the moment she did it. All she could see was Edward and his impending death if she did not stop him.
Now, they faced death again, together. Would the Volturi kill Edward for trying to expose himself? Would they kill her too out of spite? Would they do it right here or were they more discrete? She had no idea what would happen next, but she knew this was not over yet. "Edward..." She said in a near whisper out of reflex, though he clearly detected their visitors long before she and her human senses did.

Alice was frustrated as she got out of her stolen car and tried to find her way to the clock tower through the shade of the alley ways; the future was still changing as Bella ran for Edward. It was changing very much and it worried Alice that Bella would be too late. No. She had to have faith in Bella. Her vision were not always accurate, they changed a lot, right? Alice ran at an acceptable human running speed, but slightly faster, as she got closer to to her destination. Finally, she reached them. "Ah! Thank God." She thought. Though she was releaved that Edward was there with Bella, the way he stood infront of her was not a good sign. Alice rushed to the scene at once and stopped a little away from Edward. She thought, first off. The presance of two others was very clear to Alice, though. These had to be those Volturis. Alice had never actually met one before, but this matched the discription.
The two hooded men were very large in size, one taper than the other, however. She didn't know which ones these two were, nor what they could do, if they could do anything. All Alice knew was that they should be feared at some level.

Felix walked down the narrow passage ways and headed for the clock tower, keeping to the shades and his cloak hood up. He didn't like being out in the sunlight, and with the idea of someone breaking rules, this dramatically this close to home, made him edgy. When he arrived on the scene he smelled the human girl and watched her stop the show. Good. Felix still wanted to end this here, but he knew Aro wanted to speak with Edward if he chickened out.
Watching as Edward put himself between them and his little snack Felix grinned. "Perhaps we should take this to a more appropriate venue?" Felix knew Aro would want to talk to the girl as well, and besides, she knew enough to not want Edward in the sun. Which meant she knew to much. Broken laws meant Felix might get his fight, after all. That made Felix grin.

Action! Demetri was on. Aro had ordered him to fetch Edward with Felix. Of course Demetri was only all too happy to obey. Felix lead the way, as they walked with out a word through the narrow passage ways and heading right for the clock tower, where they would find Edward. Ah Edward, Demetri knew him all too well. This was not their first meeting, nor would it be their last. Demetri must admit, this was rather exciting. Demetri did get a lot of action, seeing as he often lead the other guards, but this was a different fun. The Cullen's 'little' boy, misbehaving, and protecting a human girl. How interesting.
As the two of them got closer and closer to the clock Tower Demetri quicken his pace so he was next to his 'brother', his fellow guard Felix. They walked swiftly, yet silently. Demetri could already smell Edward, and his human. He could not help his eye's when they flashed, he was thirsty, oh yes he was, but he could manage. He had many many many years under his belt, so he knew self control all too well. Demetri lifted the hood upon his robe, to make extra sure the sun could not reach any part of his skin. Demetri could see Edward now, he was protecting the girl, why would someone such as Edward waste his time with a human? Demetri would never know, but now was not the time to think about it. He had a job to do, and you know darn well that he would complete this job. Before he got too close he took a nice big whiff, making sure he got what he needed to track if needed.
Felix spoke, and Demetri felt the need to add on to that statement, so Edward did not get the wrong idea. He did not want this to turn into a fight. At least not here. There were far too many humans around. Demetri did not mind the fight, no he would fight any day. He just wished to do so away from the humans. "Felix merely meant to point out the proximity of the sun." Demetri said looking to Edward, and the little coverage they really had. The sun would only rise, and they would have even less shade to stand in. "Let us seek better cover." Demetri added holding his hand out to his side slightly as if to show the way.

Jane had heard that Edward was here and requested death. But she didn’t think he would actually try to be destroyed. He had, was out in the sun ready to expose them all. This was where Jane was heading. Felix and Demetri were already there, she had also heard Alice and some human was there with them. Jane hadn’t known why the human was there with two vampires but she knew that Aro would not allow it at all. Because if the human was there with them it would have to have known something about vampires, and this would not be allowed.
Jane made her way down the one of the passage ways. This one wasn’t as narrow as some of the others. She knew that the other Volturi guard members would have taken the narrow ones. So she decided to take the big less narrow one. It didn’t take long until she got to the end of the corridor; she only had to turn one corner before she got to the group. Jane turned that last corner to see Edward standing in the arch with the human girl covering his chest. If she had stopped him from reveling his skin she had to have known something.
Alice was there also standing close beside them. Felix and Demetri stood behind them one the same side as Jane was. Jane waited a couple of moments for them to finish there embrace. Felix and Demetri had spoken and already said they showed move. After all they were standing right in front of a bunch of humans. "Follow Me," Jane said her voice a monotone. She waited until they looked at her and began to make her way to the main chamber where Aro and the other guards and leaders were. Hoping they followed behind, If they hadn’t Felix and Demetri would have made them.

Edward couldn't ever get enough of Bella's loving embrace and even if he was tense, knowing that this might be his last, he still payed attention to every movement and memorized how every way she touched him, felt against his rock hard body. She was everything to him and he vowed to be her defender, when he approached her for the fist, second, third and so on times. When he started dating her it was more then just a defender, it was a Guardian.
She moved back and placed herself against the wall just as Alice approached them both. He could sense her coming from mind and smell although his eyes didn't move a single glance left or right. He took those two steps back to be sure he could still feel Bella there, weather it was the heat radiating of her body or the feel of her skin against his cold surface.
Edward knew how much trouble they both were in and in a small sense regretted putting Bella in this positions, to even have ever told her about vampires in general... to even have confronted her in High School. It wasn't just a small regret, it was a huge one. Even if he never saw her again, he wanted her safety. He knew that he couldn't be greedy in a time like this.
Once he knew that the guards were for certain coming after them, by their tones they knew what was coming up, in there minds... they wanted so much more then to just give them words. The bigger one wanted a fight, hell Edward was ready for that but he would rather stay by Bella's side or put himself in the middle to be sure she was and would always be safe. He would die before they had a chance to touch her. That was a mental promise.
Jane, one he had scene before entered their small little scene which had attracted a few human eyes to see if there was brawl coming up. From sight, people would assume Edward looked like the one to fight with guards, he was sure acting that way to a bare eyes that had no idea what was coming or the dangers of those out there far worse then this group.
Edward looked coldly at the direction they were assigned to go. Bringing out more denials wouldn't do them anymore good. He looked back at Bella and Alice for the first time since the others had approached, his hand grasped around Bella's. He knew Alice was in touch with how things were going but did Bella think that between Alice and Edward that they could take these three down, Jane being fairly small as it were. Edward said nothing, he tugged gently on Bella's fragile hand and started walking, his expression defeated.

She wanted to say something to him, tell him how much she loved him and how sorry she was that she had jumped off that d*** cliff and gotten them into this huge mess. She glance up at him and gripped his hand tightly. She cold hand closed around hers as they walked. She was so happy and relieved to see him alive, but scared now. Scared that this would be the end after all that.
She could sense Alice was next to them, but she was afraid to look at her. She felt like one wrong move and they would all be dead. She was also ashamed that she was so afraid. Alice and Edward seemed to brave even facing the Volturi guards, and she had fear written all over her face. She kept her eyes on the cobblestone street, letting Edward guide her toward an unknown location. 24 hours ago she never would have guessed she would be here, in Italy nearly watching her Edward die and now walking toward death again for them all.

Alice was still relatively new to all there was to know about the Volturi. She knew the main things she should know as being a vampire, but she didn't know more details, like what powers each possessed and which was which. Alice figured she ought to be extremely careful -- even more so. She had to if she wanted to get back to Jasper.
The two hooded men before them spoke shortly and an other vampire walked into the alley. This girl was no taller than Alice, but had the child-like face to match the height. Why everyone seemed more tense around this little girl seemed odd to Alice, but she did nothing to show her knew otherwise. The little hooded vampire told them to follow her and turned off. Alice did not need to look at Edward to know he was starting to follow, with Bella in tow. Alice stood where she stood until Edward reached her with Bella, then she walked with them, 'guarding' Bella's other side. The two men held up the back of the group instantly.

Felix winked at Edward's little snack (human) when they walked by. Jane leading the way. Felix had been inching for a fight, and had been hoping Edward put up a bit more of a fight. Not were so many humans could see, but maybe a bit deeper in the shadows. Something to amuse, Felix, and help him please Aro.
As Felix and his parented brought up the rear of the group, Felix noticed they seem to be going slower. Letting out a heavy sigh a few times to everyone knew him annoyance at walking at human speeds--Not even human speeds, slow human speeds! If that Edward didn't look so protective, and Felix not in a hurry he would have fought him and taken the girl, carrying her over his shoulder rather then walk so slowly.
Felix let out another sigh.

It was like clock work. Jane had showed up just in time. Making sure Felix, nor himself lost control and started fight right where they were. How so very fun that would have been. Oh well. What Jane say's goes. Jane was one of Aro's very favorites, being a favorite, meant many things. for one, you have more power in the little community, so to say. Demetri was sure Jane was not here on her own wishes. Aro had sent her, which made it all the more important that they all got her safely. With no slip ups on the way. Demetri walked behind the small group, sticking close to Felix. Walking at human speed was so very boring, but the human, could not walk so fast, and Edward seemed unwilling to carry her, how strange. As Felix started to get visibly upset by the slow sped, Demetri felt the need to step in. Keep everything.... friendly. "Felix. Not here. Aro would simply like to speak with Edward again." Demetri said, nudging Felix with his elbow, to keep him from speaking up once more. "Lunch will come later." Demetri said smiling at Edward, then looking to Bella. He knew that he would never be aloud to touch the girl. If she became lunch, it would surly be Aro's lunch not his. And Demetri did not want to deny Aro of his lunch, now did he? No no he did not. So they walked. Demetri's eyes kept on the back of Bella's head. As hard as it was to restrain from attaching her, he knew he must. Though it was feeding time, and he was, thirty. Oh so very thirty. And it showed. But Bella was out of his reach, he would be punished if anything happened to Bella before Aro could meet her.

Jane smiled to herself as she continued walking. She had heard there footsteps from behind her. Felix seemed to be angry she could hear from the way he was walking and the loud sighs of annoyance. Jane knew that they would follow her nobody would want to mess with her, and she knew Felix and Demetri would follow her orders. As she was much farer up on Aro’s list then they were. She was indeed one of his favorites along side Alec of course. He couldn’t have Jane with out Alec that wouldn’t be right for either of them. They stayed together and would always be that way.
Jane stopped on the spot for a moment as she knew the other wouldn’t catch up with her just yet. As the human seemed to be slowing them down just that little bit. “Felix. Not here. Aro would simply like to speak with Edward again. Lunch will come later." Jane heard Demetri say to Felix. She wasn’t ear wigging she was more of waiting to see what was happening. Plus she knew they wouldn’t have known she was listening. She continued walking until she met up with someone at the doors. Jane knew there would be someone waiting at the entrance of the main chamber there always was.
- - -
Alec smiled as he heard his sister’s foot steps. She always followed through with Aro’s orders which made Alec happy. If she hadn’t Aro would not have been very happy. This he knew for a fact well he hadn’t seen it but he knew that was the way Aro was. He moved from Aro’s side and towards the door. Making his way through them and past the guards guarding the door, giving them a nod each as he past them. He took a few steps forward waiting for his sister to arrive near him. Jane soon rounded the corner putting a smile on Alec small face.
Alec heard the other’s footsteps coming closer, but very slowly as they did. They were far away but not that far away. For a human they are but for vampires they weren’t, As vampires were faster then humans. This came in handy with many, many things they had to do. ”Jane, Aro is waiting for you and the others in the main chamber.” Alec greeted with a small smile. He knew she already knew he was in the main chamber although he just wanted to make sure. Alec watched as she nodded and moved into the room behind him. He didn’t go in after her as he needed to wait for the others.

There was much to consider. Young Edward had requested death Aro certainly did not want to destroy him. He had such a talent! Such a useful and convenient talent as well. Aro would simply love to have Edward in his little company. To not have to touch others to know what they were thinking. How very convenient! But Aro would not know everything he wanted to know the whole story behind everything. Aro had been able to know everything about Edward and his most talented family. Alice would be a wonderful addition! Such a talent! Aro had never dreamed of such a talent to know what will happen. So many advantages that could present. Aro wanted her talent. He wanted more than anything. Aro was power-hungry and would do anything to gain power. And what he wanted most was Alice her talent could open the possibilities for so much! And young Bella if changed he could just imagine what good she could do. He had not seen a talent so promising since he had found Alec and Jane. So many talents, so many possibilities! Ah, but he was getting side-track wasn't he?
There was still the fact that Edward will be forcing their hand not something Aro entirely liked. He would hate to destroy Edward not only for his talent, but because of Carlisle. He didn't think Carlisle would approve of this. He was quiet surprise to know how well Carlisle has down. How much it pleased him was a surprise as well. He had thought he would have weaken over time, but he was wrong. It was often when Aro was proved wrong and most of the time he didn't like it. However, it did please him to know he was wrong. To know his good friend had thrived in his lifestyle and has created his own coven. Each one having the most interesting of talents. Talents Aro craved. Talents Aro would have. And soon.
Aro had sent Demetri and Felix to take care of Edward to keep a watch on him as he left. He didn't want him to do anything to hasty. They could not afford to have their existence revealed. Not in their city and most certainly not today. Today was an old celebration that they themselves have created. The day the humans thought Saint Marcus rid the city of vampires. Humans would believe anything and this they had. When they had believed they were real. The Volturi had even come up with human materials that could destroy a vampire. Complete nonsense, but it did make the humans feel more at ease. Aro was not going to let Edward reveal what they were. He had read his thoughts he knew what his plans were. And to think it was all over a human girl. And even more it was a la tua cantante! Such a gift and yet young Edward has wasted it. Carlisle had a most unusual family all living off the blood of animals and having so many talents. Aro would be sure to gain those he wanted.
Aro smiled as he picked up the scent of several of his guard along with Edward and a couple others. Aro would be most pleased with Jane. It appeared she had brought Edward alive along with a few others. So very curious! One was obviously human. There seemed to much to tell. Aro was so very curious about what has just happen. Aro quickly rose to his feet in obvious delight as Jane entered the main chamber. "Ah, Jane, dear one, you have returned!" Aro was most pleased to see his dear one return and to have brought much more than young Edward. It pleased him greatly. Jane was one of the most valuable guard members. And this just proved one of the many reasons. She was very reliable and loyal. Of course Aro made sure all of the guard were loyal. They had ways to make one feel bond and Aro was never hesitant into using Chelsea to make this happen.

The thoughts the were coursing through Felix's mind drove Edward insane, he wanted to turn around and take Felix to the ground but decided on not pursuing fight unless in defense for Bella's safety. He would know when Felix was going to attempt his move, it was on the top of Edward's mind and reflexes were very fast in these situations. He kept his glance forward, watching Jane's heels as he walked and then straight up, ignoring her completely as he looked on.
He heard Demetri's voice talking to Felix but that wasn't something he was focusing on, aside from Felix's thoughts that is... he was secondary focused on the guard ahead. If his old senses were right from just a short time ago, this was Alec, Jane's... other half.
Edward put a gentle squeeze on Bella's hand, hoping to break her concentration. He knew she might just be wallowing in fear and if he could sidetrack that for just one second it would make her all the less scared later, hopefully. He took as long of a look at her as he could and as they came to a stop to talk to Alex, Edward eyed his sister in fear it would be the last time seeing her as well.
The group started to carry on through the doors. Once in the Chamber he knew Aro was about, he felt his thoughts and stopped before Jane even considered stopping to heel at her master's front side. In Edward's world, vampire leaders were no more then a master with dogs on the end of each leash... Felix included.

{OOC: Sorry is took me so long to realize I was up! I've been busy starting the new branch of my business and totally flaked out. Bella doesn't have much to do yet though... so it will be short anyway.}
Bella felt Edward squeeze her hand lightly and she felt slightly more assured knowing he was there with her. His cold hand enveloped hers as they walked. She glanced quickly to check that Alice was still on her other side. She could feel that the other vampires were looking at her, wondering who she was and why she was there.
As they came up to the huge doors of what she assumed was the main chamber she inhaled deeply but quietly as if she was about to plunge into the water and would have to hold her breath. The doors opened and she could help but be in awe of what she saw. A large room that looked ancient but still well polished and new, much like the vampires within it. She could tell they old, very old but they still looked strong, powerful and dangerous. She lowered her head and looked over at Edward under her hair squeezing his hand.

Their surroundings were very bizarre, Aloce had been expecting something with a more cold feel as they got out of the underground path. The last thing she had expected was that there would be an elevator, a long hallway resembling that of an office and then a reception area. It all seemed out of place. Once they walked into the main chamber, things seemed closer to what Alice had expected, though she had seen this room in her visions before.
In the chamber, Alice felt freightened even though she consealed it well. She recalled the promise she had made her husaband, Jasper, on the phone while she was in Forks. He had made her promise that she get out before a fight would break out, if she saw one to come. How could she have been so naive, get out of this chamber would be impossible if you were no suposed to be getting out. She felt terrible for telling him that -- for lying to him, but it was the only way to keep him from coming along with her and Bella. Alice did not want to recall the visions she had had of what would have happened if Jasper had come along. She shook those thoughts aside, thinking only of making it through is, and coming out in one piece. For Jasper.
The vampire who spoke to the little Guard member -- Jane -- was the leader, Alice assumed. But he was so keyed up and happy. It was disconserning. While she had the time, Alice thought through the events of the pas couple of days so that Edward would know what had happened before all of this. And she was also going to give him heck about the whole thing later on, that was for sure.

Once they were inside the Volturi hall Felix seemed to relax allot. He let his hood fall back and he seemed less in a hurry. Mainly it was being out of the sun, and knowing his job was almost done and how pleased the Volturi leaders would be of his job well done. Once he was in the feeding chamber he would relax more.
Or not, His eyes moved over to Edward and Felix grinned. Oh this could turn out to be a very promising day. If that one's temper got the better of him, Felix would be the one called to fight him. Felix loved nothing more then a good fight. He would crush the vampire like a human, and then make him watch, maybe, as the Volturi leaders drank his mate. That would cruel, yes, but he broke the rules.
Once Aro was in sight, Felix relaxed but at the same time became eager, and stood taller. Excitement building over the coming actions.

Like his 'brother' Demetri, let his hood fall back, off his head, as soon as they were safe and far from the sun. Demetri was excited like the rest of the Vampiers here. He was on a high so to speak, ready to track, ready to fight, ready to just have some fun, and take some of the FREAK'S off this world. He was not a fan of the veggie's or whatever they call them selves now. It was not natural, and he hated it, but he would never tell anyone that. Demetri was far to polite to say that to anyone's face. He was far to kind, on the outside for that. but just because he would never say it, does not mean he would not think it. Only Aro knew Demetri's true personality. Demetri was always on edge, with his thought's Now that the mind reader was her, he knew to think only polite thing's he had an image to uphold. Demetri could feel the excitement oozing out from every member here, wanting to be the one to kill, to hurt the veggies here. Wanting the honor of Aro calling upon them to fight. Demetri was sure Felix would be called, to fight Edward, as for the other girl, he wondered who would be alloud to fight the pixie. As for the human, well she was a snack for Aro or his brothers.

[[Yeah I failed big time in my post before and missed out a part I wanted to put in so I’m going to change it a bit hehe]] Alec smiled as Jane ran back towards him before Aro could say anything that was. Jane had always meant a great deal to him even before they were turned they were each others best friend and they usually did everything together well the things that they could. Alec smiled again and reached out for her, Jane took the gesture and embraced him as that was what they usually did when they saw each other. They were always doing something else and normally away from each other, since Volturi castle was so big. They enjoyed the time they had together and took advantage of it.
They then kissed each others cheeks on both side’s as usual. Alec then turned to face the others who were just rounding the corner. ”They send you out for one and you come back with two… and a half.” He noted looking at the human. ”Nice work,” He spoke to his twin, Jane. Alec always liked that Jane and him were so close they got along well and both had rather good power to help Aro. ”Welcome back, Edward, You seem in a better mood.” Alec greeted him with a smile. He then held the door open for Jane and waited for the others to walk in behind her.

Jane walked through the door and waited for the others to come, she knew they weren’t very far behind. They would have been closer if it wasn’t for the human with them. Felix and Demtiri seemed to be getting tired of how slowly they were moving and they were starting to get hungry which wouldn’t be good for the human. Just as Jane had entered the room Aro rose straight to his feet. Jane listened carefully to his words before answering she didn’t want take his words in the wrong way and say something completely of topic. That would have been embarrassing to all of them.
”Yes, Master” Jane smiled, her expression made her look like an angelic child. ”I brought him back alive, just as you wished.” Jane added. She wasn’t sure as to why the human was here or why Edward wanted to be destroyed or even why the little pixie like vampire was here. But they had to be there for a reason. Well that was what Jane had guessed as there was really no point to come all the way from Washington to Italy for no reason. Jane turned around to face the others standing close by Aro to make sure nothing happened.

"Ah, Jane you are such a comfort." Aro knew he could rely on Jane to bring Edward back alive. Edward would be such a valuable talent within the guard. It would be wonderful to have him join them. His talent was so very convenient to be able to read from a distance. Aro would give anything to have that talent. To know what everyone was thinking at that exact moment. Not needing physical contact. Of course Aro was power-hungry he wanted all the talents he could get. And those that would be of great use to him. The Cullen's seemed to have many useful, powerful talents. Those that would be of great use and add to the Volturi. To his small collection.
Aro looked over at Edwards as well as Bella and Alice. How wonderful! "Alice and Bella as well! This is a pleasant surprise. Wonderful!" Aro wanted Alice within the guard as well. He had never thought of such a talent. To be able to read the future to know what will happen. There were so many possibilities! So many advantages! "Felix, be a dear and tell my brothers about our company." Aro was certain they would at least want to be present. After all there were so many talents that would be of much use. "I'm sure they wouldn't want to miss this!" Aro was certain his brothers wouldn't be as thrilled about this as he was, but they should be here all the same. It was a chance he did not want them to miss. Even more so if they were to gain these talents. It would be wonderful if they did.
Aro was absolutely thrilled to have so many talents close by. Talents he wanted. Talents he hoped to gain. Perhaps young Edward would reconsider his offer. He had his doubts, but it would be most wonderful if he did. "You see what, Edward, what did I tell you?" Aro questioned looking at Edward. "Aren't you gald I didn't give you what you wanted yesterday?" Even if he had destroyed him he wonder if young Alice and Bella would have come anyways. Alice would have seen that he was destroyed would they have even bothered with the trip. Aro could not be certain. Aro was most pleased Edward had not tried anything sooner. Aro would have hated to miss the chance to meet Alice and Bella. Alice had such a unique talent something he wanted. And Bella why he could only imagine what possibilities she could have. Aro was quiet curious if Bella was immune to his talent as well. that would be something he would want to find.

He heard them all, all of their sly and sincere to each others remarks. He wanted to turn on anyone who thought of his Bella that way but there was so many of them and it wasn't promised a fair fight. Felix was at the top of his list one who to kill tonight if it came down to that. He saw Jane and Alec, ignored them because it was them who's minds were on killing them at the moment, at least not as close to Demetri and Felix were. He held Bella's hand a little tighter but made certain not to crush her.
When they approached the destination, so it seemed, Edward knew that veering off to the side was no option, he would simply be asked to take the front and center again and that would just cause more attention, the attention he didn't necessarily want at all, hell he didn't want any of this. So Jane called him Master, how nice. At least Edward knew he had a family to count on. His view turned to Alice in the process. His sweet but yet annoying sister and aside from Bella, she was one of his absolute dearest friends and it saddened him that either of the girls had to be here. Emmet would have been grinning head to toe during the whole thing. It was mean to think but in all honesty he wished Emmet was here besides the girls.
He looked back over at Aro, which was now wasting his time with trying to make Edward look at the good side of things. Even if Aro was a slight bit correct that he was glad he hadn't taken his own life for no reason. He was glad Aro had rejected him but then again he knew what extremes he would have to pull in the future to follow his Bella to another world. "Yes, Aro, I am glad. For that I thank you." He added not taking his eyes off Aro. He didn't need words to keep a concerned look on his face for what was about to happen to them. He was just going to die anyways.

After the emotional day one would think she would be tired, but Bella Swan was wide awake and too afraid to even this of sleeping ever again. These were the vampires Edward and the Cullens had warned her about, the leaders. While she would be forever glad that had not granted Edward's request, Bella was wondering what they wanted from him now.
Aro was not as scary looking as she thought but his calm cool and collected air about him made him seemed even scarier. Bella looked over his skin and noticed how much whiter it was then Edwards or the Cullens, or even the vampires around him. She held onto Edward as everyone watched them, and Bella was to aware of how every vampire must be hearing how fast her heart was going. Her fingers dug into Edward's shirt when Aro sent someone to fetch his 'brothers'. The others.

Alice kept her cool when all she felt was fear and sadness. This wasn't going to turn out well, as far as she could see right now, she really hoped that changed. Bella was in much more trouble than Alice and Edward were. And the way Aro seemed so happy to see them worried Alice even more. She had never met any of the Volturi in her immortal life, why the leader seemed to act as if he knew her...

Felix did as Aro bid him to do, always. So even though he wanted to stay and try to provoke Edward, and not miss a fight, he bowed his head and silently when to inform the other leaders that Aro wanted to see them, and that the Cullen was back with friends. He found them separately while annoyed him but he would never say so. He wanted to get back in case Edward snapped and a fight broke out. The human girl was as good as dead now and Felix was willing to bet that Edward would not let her go down alone.
Which meant at lest two vampires would die tonight, maybe even the shorter girl.
Caius left his cambers and followed Felix to get Marucs before going to the main chambers. He was annoyed at having this Edward almost expose them! So many rules they were breaking! Living among humans, and not eating them! They were all walking risks and they should not allow them to survive! They would be more trouble then they are wroth and the actions of this immortal proved it! Caius wanted them to just kill the boy, drink the girl, and sent the short immortal girl back home as a witness to there actions. [Marucs can move all three of us into the room] {Layout By Aro}

Post by Jane Volturi on Nov 11, 2009 18:05:17 GMT -5
Jane smiled when she heard Aro’s words. She always felt happy when he said things like that. She was like a boy trying to impress his father, this was how she was like around Aro. Even though she was female she had a long life ahead of her and she wasn’t going to waste it by doing nothing. This no only made her happy and proud of herself it also gave her something to do. Not that it was boring at Volterra but it did get boring every now and then standing around waiting, waiting for something to happen or to be told to do something.
She gave Aro a nod with a smile on her face and wiped it of when she turned away from him. The human girl wasn’t saying all that much and it was starting to annoy her. She wanted Edward destroyed and she was happy to do it. But she knew the way Aro was he would want to find out the reason and be all calm about it. Jane was never calm about these things it may have looked like it on the outside but in the inside well that was a different story. She didn’t like how Aro always well most of the time talked about the problem before killing them. If it was Jane she would have just killed them straight away.
Jane turned to look at Alec, he hadn’t moved or said anything. Which was normal he hardly ever moved or said a word unlike Jane he was shyer then she was sometimes and then other times it was the other way round. They were twins after all and were a lot alike then most thought. They got along well and both had great powers that the Volturi needed this was something Jane was very proud of. Jane watched as Felix walked out of the room, she knew he was looking for the other leaders and it wouldn’t be long until he came back.
And soon enough some action would come. It was starting to get rather boring Jane wanted something exciting to happen like a fight of some killing would be good. She knew her eyes were going to turn black soon as she was starting to get hungry. But she would hold it back just for a little while as the was a human here and Aro didn’t want them to touch her just yet. The Edward guy seemed to be rather protective of her anyway and she wasn’t planning on getting in the middle of it just yet.

Aro noticed Felix silently leave them to gather his brothers. He was certain they would at the very least be present before their guest. He was so very curious about them he wanted to know so much. Yet there may indeed to be a danger. Their secret was revealed this not something they could entirely allow, but for the time being Aro would not focus on what to do about that just yet. There was so much he wanted to know. So much to find out! Aro knew his brother's opinions on young Edward and his request. It would have been such a waste to destroy young Edward. His talent alone was of so much use! It would be a terrible waste to destroy him. This was certainly not something he wanted. His talent was not the only reason not at all. Carlisle has been a wonderful friend he would hate to destroy someone in his coven someone he even consider a son. They consider themselves as a family. While that was one reason the reason for his talents was the strongest reason not to destroy him. He could think of how useful his talent could be to the Volturi. Not only his but Alice's as well.
Aro smiled at Edward keeping his expression calm, friendly. "How I love happy endings!" Aro sighed slightly he wonder just where this would lead. If he would be able to gain the vampires before him. "They are so rare." Aro would be quiet delighted if he was to gain these talents. He was aware of how powerful, how useful they would be to the Volturi. Alice in particular her talent was something he wanted and he would do nearly anything for. Edward's own talent so much like Aro's was so very convenient to hear from a distance! How wonderful that would be. Aro glanced at the human, at Bella. She seemed quiet terrified and understandably so but Aro was so very curious if he could read her thoughts. It was so unusual for this to occur Aro was very curious if it would have the same affect on him or even one of his guards. So many questions! So many possibilities!
"But I want the whole story." Of course Aro was intently curious about how this had come about how Bella was still alive? It was very curious matter. "Alice, my dear, your brother seems to think your infallible, but there is some mistake?" Aro questioned turning his attention to Alice. Her talent was simply amazing! To be able to see the future to know what will happen it would so wonderful! Aro was looking forward to hearing what had happen. It seemed certain that young Bella was indeed dead Aro had read this in Edward's thoughts. Yet that seemed to be quiet incorrect as here she stood before him clinging to young Edward. Edward's pull to the young human it seemed impossible to withstand yet he did. Not only once but over and over again. Such strength one must have to endure! It was amazing for any vampire to be able to resist la tua cantante it was such a gift! The Cullen's seemed so very interesting from what little interaction he had with them. He was very interested in them and their talents.
Carlisle had been so very interesting! And his way of life it was so unusual he never thought he would have found a coven that willingly went with his way of life. It did please him surprisingly so. And to have so many talented vampires within his own coven. Or rather family as they like to call themselves. It was so very unusual for so many to be in one coven. It was rare many usually traveled alone or in pairs. The Cullen's were not the only ones the Denali's were as well. It was strange perhaps their diet had something to do with this or perhaps it was something else. Aro was so very curious about so much. And most certainly wanted to gain these talents nothing would please him more. He was always looking for ways to gain more power, more talents. And these talents happen to be very powerful, very useful it would be simply wonderful to have them. Such talents would add nicely to their little company!
Thoughts. They lead to nothing they where just endless circles about the same thing. Everything was the same. There was no change. Nothing of interest. Nothing that would bring even an ounce of excitement. Centuries have come and gone and nothing changed. The humans changed, Aro gained power, gained talents. Guards came and went, but really nothing changed. Everything around Marcus changed, but he never did. Nothing would change how he felt, how he acted. Nothing would bring a spark of interest to him ever again. There was nothing to look forward to. There was no reason to think of the past. Never think about the past. Those thoughts were forbidden. Unwanted. Unneeded. They could only bring despair, sorrow and a possibility to show some emotion. Something Marcus did not want.
Marcus was growing thirsty it was around the time that Heidi would return with some 'visitors.' Even feeding did not excite Marucs. Sure it satisfied his thirst, but that was all. It was a simple need that had to be met and was. Heidi was usually the guard that gathered a few humans for them. Marcus was much more aware of everything than anyone thought, well aside for Aro who could read all his thoughts. He gave his opinion on matters to his brothers it was predictable. He didn't rush things what was the point in that? He did however have a useful talent something allowed them to have that much more power. Something that allowed them to know how to strike. It had been useful in several situations. It had perhaps been one of the main reasons they gained this power millenniums ago. Knowing who was loyal was very important. Marcus also kept a watch on the guards around him making sure their loyalty was with the Volturi and never faulted. If it did they could always use Chelsea. This was a constant in his life. Watching relationships knowing who was loyal and who as not.
Marcus knew how much he was needed. How much Aro relied on his talent. Marcus would allow his brother to read his thoughts to know everything. To know who was loyal and who was not. Marcus' thoughts rarely changed. They were always focused on the present. He never thought about the past nor the future. There was really no point. He didn't see much of a point to live. The only reason so he and his brothers could gain power. To enforce the one rule they had set down ages ago. To make sure their secret was kept. Marucs understood why this was important. Of course there was much more to the Volturi to his brothers than enforcing this rule. They always appeared justified in their actions hiding just how power-hungry they were. Power simply did not hold any interest at all to Marcus like everything else. He might have once before, but never again. Nothing would or could grab his attention could make him have an ounce of excitement for it. His thoughts were the same. Unchanging as he had been for centuries.
Marcus turned his bored eyes to Felix young Edward was of some interest to Aro. His talent he suppose could be of great use, but did he really interest Marcus? No not really. His reason for being destroyed was simply not good enough. It was not a good enough reason to be destroyed no matter how painful it may be Marcus was well aware of this. His thoughts did not dare think of the pain of losing a mate brought. Those would do him no good. He needed to remain emotionless not let anything affect him. Give his opinion to his brothers and be aware of relationships around them. Marcus made his way to the main chamber with both Felix and Caius close by him. Marcus turned his attention to Edward and his friends. Marcus was surprised by how strong of a relationship they held. Marcus had no come across to many relationships that were so strong before. It was very impressive. Though his face revealed nothing. There was no reason to show any emotion any more there would never be a reason to show an ounce of interest to anyone or anything. Marcus came to stand by Aro brushing his hand against his palm. This would be of important for Aro to know. To see how powerful of a relationship these Cullen's had for each other. It certainly was quiet of interest. It only took a few seconds to allow Aro to read his thoughts before he drifted to the wooden thrones. Where he sat not focusing on anything of importance. For one there was nothing of interest to him aside from the fact how strong of relation their guest had.
