Challenge Twenty-One: They Mated For Life Aro's mate, Sulpicia life can have more meaning
Aro had slowly begun to form his coven: Aro, Marucs, Caius, and Didyme. Aro wanted the power the Romanians had. He had met them and talked with them. They didn't suspect anything from him. Simply another curious vampire new to this life. Aro would slowly gain their trust find out everything he could about them. It would be a slow process and take many years he was sure. He needed a little time away from Romania they all did. Where they could talk without worrying if others would hear them. They needed a plan. They needed to figure out what to do. How to overthrow the Romanians. They were so large, but not everyone was loyal to them. Marcus' talent was useful. They knew who take out first those that were loyal. Others were simply forced to be there or simply wanted to be apart of the power. Aro could care less about their reason for joining they would all be destroyed and quickly. They would need to gain power of their own this would take time.
Aro had decided to go hunting alone. It wasn't rare for him to do this. He sometime preferred to be alone. Away from Marcus and Didyme. Away from Caius who was always disagreeing with him. He doubted that would ever change. After the hunt Aro would probably think about what he was going to do. What plans would be best. How to overthrow the Romanians. It was during this hunt he spotted a human. A different human. She had golden hair her dress was light in color a soft lavender. Her scent did make his throat burn, but he didn't want to harm her. He hated the idea of any harm coming to this mortal. She was beautiful, but she was human. Aro shook his head he wouldn't hunt her, he couldn't. He couldn't talk with humans they were weak and were to suspicious. Humans were aware of vampires she would probably yell for help that would be unwanted attention. Something Aro was trying to avoid.
Aro walked, or rather ran from the human. He was thirsty he could kill her on accident. Something about killing her pained him. He didn't want this human to die. It was so strange why should he care? It was a human nothing more. Aro hunted killed a couple humans until his thirst was satisfied. Aro began walking out of the town there was woods not to far off. He was deep in thought. He needed to think about power, but he couldn't. His thoughts were on this human. This insignificant human. Why did he not want any harm to come to her? Thoughts of anything happening to her pained him. He didn't want her to be hurt he wanted her. A human! Aro slowly, for a vampire, made his way back to his coven. His 'brothers' and sister. Didyme was his biological sister she knew him better than anyone else. Even though Aro kept his expression calm she knew there was something wrong. She attempted to find out what, but Aro was not going to talk about it. It was weak.
It was a weakness to care for a human. Humans died all the time. They were killed by natural causes, accidents, or even other vampires. The thought of another vampire killing this mortal angered him. He didn't want anyone to harm her. Mortal or Immortal. He would not allow it, but why? Why should he care about this human. She was weak, but she was beautiful. She was special. Aro felt the urge to find her to change her himself. It was a thoughtless act, but he had to. He would not allow her to die. His coven had to hunt on occasion what if they came across her? Aro looked outside it was still night, but the sun would rise soon. Aro knew her scent he could find her easily. Aro quickly and quietly went back into town. He didn't even tell anyone he had left or bothered to tell them where he was going. He needed to find this human. He wanted her. Strange and unusual as it was he did. He never wanted anything more, aside from power of course, he wanted to know more about her. And he would so very easily with one simple touch. And he would know very soon.
It appeared she was better off than most humans. Aro didn't pay that much to what humans had or how much had really changed. He had been a vampire for several years a lot has changed since he was human. It seemed humans were always changing where Aro remained the same. Never changing. But this girl was a sudden change. This human made him act without thinking. It was foolish and not at all like him. Aro was growing more excited as her scent became stronger. He easily found the human. It was late at night. When he had first spotted her it had been early humans were still up, but getting ready to rest for the night. The human was sleeping. He didn't even know her name but knew she was different. Knew she was for him. Aro had never understood Didyme and Marcus bond even reading their thoughts he didn't see the relationship. Seeing this human it changed everything. Change was so rare for a vampire when it came it was swift. He was changed by simply seeing this human.
Aro touched her cheek closing his eyes for a moment. He knew everything about her. Every little detail, all her fears, her goals, her past. Everything. And most importantly her name Sulpicia. Aro opened her eyes the human, Sulpicia, was still asleep. Her skin was warm against his icy touch. Aro would change this human. He couldn't leave her not now. Now that he knew everything about her and just by seeing her how much he had changed. Aro picked her up she stirred Aro didn't want her to wake just yet. She would be in pain for three long days. He wanted it to be quick and painless, but it wouldn't. Nothing Aro did would ease the pain she would feel. It was always the same. Aro successfully carried Sulpicia to his home. Aro didn't pay any attetnion to any in his coven. He had to keep in control he had to focus on what he was about to do.
Aro laid Sulpicia on the bed in one of the rooms. It was decoration nothing more as vampires never slept. Aro would hate to kill her. He had fed just hours before he had changed his sister it shouldn't be to difficult to change another. Aro moved Sulpicia's hair away from her neck. The girl stirred Aro knew she was about to wake he would have to do this quickly. It wouldn't make the pain any less. As Aro began to drink it was difficult to stop as expected. Her blood was sweet, but he forced himself to stop. He couldn't kill her. He would hate to kill her would pain him. He knew this human already and yet she did not know him she didn't know who he was. She may not have even seen him when he saw her. He had remained hidden. Would she hate him for this life he gave her? Aro would hope not he could not be sure about her reaction. Aro sighed realizing what he had done. He had changed a human for a selfish reason without even thinking about what he was doing. He had known he wanted her and that's all he was concerned about.
Aro's thoughts were put to a stop as Sulpicia began to scream out in pain. Aro knew this would last for the three long days. Watching his sister had not been nearly as hard as this. To see Sulpicia in such pain. He heard her pleas for death. Aro wouldn't grant them even if he could. It would be possible to kill her, but he wouldn't. It wasn't long before the rest of his coven heard Sulpicia's screams as well. Aro turned toward them suggesting they go to a more suitable area to discuss this. Caius was angry as expected. He would use any excuse to be angry with him. Didyme was thrilled and overjoyed to know her brother had found someone. Didyme was always happy it was her gift and it clearly showed. Marcus didn't care much. His thoughts were always surrounded on Didyme. Aro didn't even think about power for three days. His sister was the only one that came to check up on Sulpicia. She had wanted to know everything that Aro knew. Caius had agreed with Aro that his action had been thoughtless, but Aro didn't really care what Caius thought.
The three long days seemed to be endless. Aro stayed by Sulpicia's side for most of it. The one time that he had talked with his family about this was the only exception. Aro wonder if Sulpicia would hate him? He was changing her into a monster. A vampire. But he needed her, he wanted her. There was no way he could deny this. He would always want her this was sure of. For the moment he wanted her more than power, but that would change he was sure. Power had always been his first priority. He cared for Sulpicia he was certain he loved her, but when he was able to focus on power once more would this change? He would want power more this he was certain, but he knew without a doubt he would also always want Sulpicia. Nothing would change what he was feeling. He would always want her, he would always love her. Aro didn't know what her reaction would be once he told her what she was. He hoped her reaction would be good and understanding. Perhaps she would feel the same. Aro looked at Sulpicia as her last heart beat stopped. Aro was completely uncertain about what was going to happen. Not sure if Sulpicia would return his feelings or not. How much time it would take for her to adjust. All would be known soon. Aro watched as her bright ruby eyes opened for the first time looking directly at him.

“Damon spoke without moving. “I’m not like you.” “You’re not as different from us as you want to think,” Matt said. “Look,” he added, an odd note of challenge in his voice, “I know you killed Mr. Tanner in self-defense, because you told me. And I know you didn’t come here to Fell’s Church because Bonnie’s spell dragged you here, because I sorted the hair and I didn’t make any mistakes. You’re more like us than you admit, Damon. The only thing I don’t know is why you didn’t go into Vickie’s house to help her.” Damon snapped, almost automatically, “Because I wasn’t invited!” Memory swept over Bonnie. Herself standing outside Vickie’s house, Damon standing beside her. Stefan’s voice: Vickie, invite me in. But no one had invited Damon. www.vashikaransiddhi.com/vashikaran-kajal-to-make-someone-love-you/
