Your challenge is to research the time your muse is from. (Even if it's just them 90s), and see what styles, or events your muse would have seen in there life time. Edward, in Twilight, talked about how music had changed over the years, and which time frames he liked and disliked. Now pick a topic, or topics and tell us your muses opinions on them. Humans Are Constantly Changing

Life is primitive during this time. The life Aro grew up in. Life for humans seemed to be so simple, but of course they believed in everything. They were well aware of everything. Aro soon found out why when he was changed. The Romanians did not believe in hiding their existence. Humans were slowly advancing, but they were still weak, slow. After all they are just humans that is how they always will be.

There is little reason to focus on humans at this point in time. We, the Volturi, have far to much to focus on. We have just overthrown the Romanians. We must make all vampires aware of us. Make them realize we are in control. Aro does not want humans to know of the existence of humans. This is a task that will take centuries.

A.D.

1 - 500

Aro has been aware of the humans in his country. They have formed a world empire. The Roman Empire. It shows how much superior we are. How much better people from this location is. Not only do the humans have complete control, but so do the vampires. And how far the humans seem to be advancing it is so very curious! So much knowledge we are gaining and how powerful we are. Of course this is cause for concern. With our immediate area becoming so popular there is need for planning. We can't allow humans to know about us anymore than they already do. We must secure our city.

As quickly as the humans rose they have fallen. It proves how much grander vampires are. How much better we are. Aro will not lose his power he won't allow it. He will keep his power at any cost. Nothing will bring the Volturi down. Nothing will make them fall. The Volturi will remain powerful. Even as the Romanians try to take their power back we prove once more that we are better, grander.

1400 - 1600

As the humans had fallen in their great empire they cause just as much problems for themselves. They even allow invaders. Completely ridiculous. Humans are weak they can't even protect their own land. Our land. Aro is so very protective over his city, Volterra, this is his main concern. They cannot allow any other human to take over this city. They cannot allow this ancient city to be destroyed. So often when humans battle they destroy entire cities. They cannot let this happen to Volterra. We may influence others to leave this city. Have several of their men die or disappear. All dead because of them. Italy we are concerned, but not as much as our own city. Italy does survive we do still have our land, our city. That's all Aro cares about. As long as Volterra remains the same as long as no one tries to overtake their city, even mere humans, there shouldn't be any problems.

1800

Aro observe the humans, but doesn't give them to much attention. He is aware how much their land is changing. Becoming united to form to officially be called Italy. Volterra, however, remains untouched. Aro will not let his city change. After all they must keep control over their city. The humans believe there is no vampires in this city or anywhere else. Humans finally think they are nothing but a myth. Which is exactly what Aro has wanted for centuries. Since he gained this power. There is still so much to consider. So much to think about rather than humans.

1900

Aro watches the humans. All they want to do is destroy themselves. They create items made to kill themselves. They are constantly fighting. Constantly a danger to themselves. How long can this really go on? The weapons they create become increasingly dangerous. Aro watches curiously as they do this. Centuries turning to decades. Their knowledge quickly grows, but they are starting to present a danger to us. Our kind. We are immortal but they have created such items that can destroy everything. They are a weak species, and yet they continue to create items to destroy themselves and others. And maybe even us. This has been a dangerous century. There is much to consider what to do next. Focus on power naturally not pay to much attention to humans, but there is reason for concern.
