.:Look:.^{"She was beautiful in an exotic way–perfect copper skin, glistening black hair, eyelashes like feather dusters"} Leah has long think black hair, that hangs straight. Tan skin, and think eye lashes over her black eyes. When she begins to phase, she takes on a more muscled looked, and gets taller. While not as tall or as big as the males, she dose stand out from normal girls. It makes her looks almost butch and she tends to take on the persona to fit it.

As a wolf she is smaller (yet still horse sized) grey wolf. For her much later looks, Leah begins to embrace the wolf in side of her, her hair gets cut short and her begins working out in order to work out her anger.

.:Basic Personality:. Leah is a stand strong girl. While she is still a typical girl with the emotions and temperament of one, she has the confidence and boldness to stand out, and hold her own. While the 'change' first took her she became bitter, and cold. When she followed Jacob away she learned to relax and have fun again. Sassy, classy and very sarcastic, Leah also has a mean streak which has been known to stop people in there tracks. Leah can be kind and gentle when she wants to, and feels up to it. But being the only female wolf, then only girl among men, she tends to try to stay meaner. Also, very protective of her little brother, Seth, who is also a wolf.

.:History:. "Wanna race, O fearless leader?" Leah had the normal childhood for a girl growing up on the reservation. Played in the woods, the beach, went to school, and watched the oh so pretty boys grew to men. When Leah got into high school, she found one man she could spend the rest of her life with. Sam Uley. He was everything she wanted. Leah was happy. Then came the changes...

"Thank you, Captain Obvious."

Sam disappeared for two weeks, and left Leah and his friends and family frantic and worried. Finally Sam came home. Leah was so happy, so relived and....hurt... Sam was not normal. He was withdrawn and keep to many secrets. To many lies came between them. Leah, however, stayed beside him, prepared to deal with anything and everything in order to have Sam. Live moved on for a few months and Leah finished high school.

"This is making me sick."

Her best friend, and family member Emily, came to visit and it was that event that would start Leah's spiral downfall. Sam left her for Emily. It was easy to see how happy they were together. Leah gritted her teeth and put on a brave face. When Emily asked her to be a bridesmaid Leah said yes, but the bitterness started.

"That is easily the freakin’ grossest thing I’ve heard in my life.
Yuck.
If there was anything in my stomach, it would be coming back."

It would not be until the day her own change came that Leah would understand. Imprinting, changing....and mind links. It was hard. It hurt to see herself though all the guy's eyes. The pitty. Sam's pity and guilt. It often made her lash out at them. Thinking of things to make them hurt. Glad they hurt and stopped thinking of her. She became a pain in their ass. She made her's become the worst thing about their change.

"Despite my best efforts, I’ve seen you naked before – doesn’t do much for me."

When her Father learned of her change, it gave him a heart attack and that would be what killed him. It only made her bitter. Hard. Cold. Things got worse when her baby brother joined the pack.

"Shut up, Jacob. Oops, I’m sorry – I mean, shut up, most high Alpha."

Jake would be what saved her. Ironically. When left disbanded from the pack over the bloodsuckers, she thought long and hard and then left with him. She became happier and easier to live with away from Sam. She could finally heal, forgive her self, learn to move on (If not become nicer to Jake at lest). She understood where Jake was going, understood the long dark hole of bitterness. Her and Jake would become friends. After Quil Ateara and Embry Call join their pack, Jacob names Leah as his Beta.

For my thread taking place 'way back when'. Before Sam left her, before her father died, before Emily was something other then her best friend. While she was simply a happy slightly spoiled, Daddy's little girlly girl.
