Deline wandered around in an unfamiliar forest. She had no idea where she really was, and was utterly and completely lost. She clicked her tongue a few times softly to herself out of annoyance at her own self, for getting lost again. She could use a map, and possibly a newspaper or two to keep up with things better. The world was changing so quickly lately that it got confusing, especially if you were lost in the wildness. She sighed, and tapped her foot out of impatience at nothing. Her thoughts were rather slow, as she tried to answer the questions in them.
A owl hooted in the night, causing Deline to jump. She had not expected anything to be awake around midnight, or what ever time it was. She knew it was late at night, but had been probably only for a few hours. She had forgotten completely about noctural animals. She bit her blood red lip, and jumped hearing the snapping of a twig. Paranoid much? She thought to herself, and rolled her eyes. She had been on edge lately, jumping at the slightest surprise. She shook her head gently to herself, and looked around to see if anyone was there.
"Hello?" Deline called out. She didn't think a human would be out this late at night in the middle of nowhere, but possibly a vampire. She wondered if they knew the date, or where they were. If they did happen to know that, it would be a great help to her. If she didn't, that would truly suck even more. "Is any one there?" She called softer, hoping secretly that it was some one. She hated being alone and lost, especially at this hour. Not that anything she knew of would harm her randomly.

Jane walked though the forest looking around smiling and thinking to herself about nothing. She was in one of those moods when she felt like being her true self. She didnt have to hide anything while she was in the forest. She didnt have to be her evil self. She could be just plain Jane. Because she was by herself and not around any of the volturi.
Jane finally decided to stop running and stand be side a tree. Which was something she could easiley do since she was in the forest. Jane slowed down into a slow walking pace and picked the tree she liked most and leaned againset it. It was like every other tree in the forest it have a tall brown trunk made out of wood and green leaves.
Jane looked down at the ground. The were lots of leaves, twigs and bugs. Jane laided her eyes on a twig with a spider on it. She put her foot on it and squished the spider making the twig break. Jane wasnt scared of spider she just didnt like them. She had been scared of them when she was human and still was a little bit.
"Hello?" Jane heared. It sound like a females voice. "Is any one there?" The small voice said. It had came from behind the tree she was leaning against. Jane walked around slowly to the side of the tree. To see a female facing the other way. She had short orange kinda of hair. "Im here" Jane said with a grin on here face. She was hoping she scared the female.

Deline jumped, hearing a voice respond to her previous words. 'I'm here.' The voice was high, and she easily recognized it as belonging to a girl. A beautiful girl came from behind the tree. Her skin was pale as snow, that seemed to gleam in the moonlight. Her hair was a light shade, it was long and straight. It reminded her of her younger sister. This stranger was also rather short, probably an inch or two smaller than herself. Looking down to meet eyes felt rather odd for her to be doing. She was small and used to looking up at people.
"And who would I be?" Deline questioned, placing her right foot up against the tree. She leaned casually back against the tree for support. It was much more mental that physical. Her paranoia was really getting on her nerves. She would jump at the smallest thing, even if she expected it. She pressed her perfectly full lips in a thin line, particiakky wanting them to curve up in a warm greeting smile towards the girl. She could tell by her eyes it was a vampire. She wanted to go up and touch her skin for just a moment.
The longing to see if this vampire had a special ability was hidden rather well in Deline's dark eyes. They were now open as she looked carefully at the girl. She looked extremely young, much to young to deserve the pain of the transformation. She jaw clenced at the memory, as it caused her to remember her final night as a human. It had been nice, up until seeing her friend's life fade from her eyes. She could feel her snowy white hand at her side curl into a small but powerful fist out of pure anger.

Jane stood against the tree waiting for the female to turn around and notice her standing there. Jane still had the grin on her face she really hoped she scared the female she got joy out of scaring people. It was quite mean and that why people called her a frighting little monster.
The girl finally noticed and Jane watched as she jumped. Jane laughed at her, She was quite easy to scare. "And who would I be?" The female said. Jane was surprised she didn't know who she was. She wouldn't normally have to introduce herself to others. Because they would already know.
Jane noticed that the female was a vampire as well and smiled at her. "Jane of the Volturi guard" Jane said smiling. She was hoping she would know what the Volturi was and what there importance was. So then she would then know how Jane was and she wouldn't have to explain to her.
But Jane always like telling new people about her because then she could scare them away. By telling them of her power. "And you are?" Jane said being smart and narrowing her eyes at the female.

'Jane of the Volturi guard.' Deline nodded slightly to herself. She knew what the Volturi was, as she had came across Aro once before. She was not sure if this young appearing girl had been there, because they had all had robes coverig their faces. It was not exactly good for blending in, as in Texas people often wore tank tops and short shorts. Then again, at the moment, they were not in Texas. She had only wondered outside of it a few days ago, and it had been a boiling hot summer. Where ever they were, it was closer to the North.
'And you are?' Ahh, Deline thought, she's smart. It was always smart to get to know the other, especially before they run off. She knew that she could easily take off running, as she was one of the faster vampires alive. She could outrun a werewolf, who were suppose to be faster than she was. But, she was not stronger than the average vampire as far as she knew. She might even be weaker. She had never had to fight one before to see. She did not plan on it any time soon.
"My name is Deline." She spoke in her high, musical voice. She held out her hand for her to shake. It was the perfect way to see if this girl had a special ability that other vampires did not. It would look like a perfectly natural and polite thing to do, especially to outsiders. From previous experiences, she knew that the other vampire would have absolutely no idea that she was learning their ability unless they were a mind reader. She had a rather boring ability, so she thought. You had to have physical contact for anything to happen, if something happened.

Jane watched the girl stand there against a tree. Her orange hair blowing in the wind. Her red eyes staring straight ahead. She wasn't a vegetarian vampire. Jane thought she had seen her somewhere before but just could not put her finger on where or when she had.
"My name is Deline." The female said in a high, musical voice and putting her hand out. Jane looked at Deline's hand and narrowed her eyes. She wouldn't normally take someones hand for no reason but she took it any way and as soon as she shook it she took her hand away.
Jane wiped her hand on her black cloak. Which was behind her back and couldn't have been seen unless you looked behind her. Jane didn't like this female vampire very much. She was too happy for Jane liking.
"And your talking to me because?" Jane asked rudely before sliding down the tree and sitting down. Jane pulled her knees up to her chest and hugged then. It wasn't cold or anything it was just a habit Jane had.

Deline kept bag the smug smile when she took her hand. She nearly looked at Jane like she was some sort of psycho maniac. She could inflict mental pain on some one at her will. That was just odd. This girl must have really been evil to be able to do that. She did not seem that evil, at the moment. She wondered if she would put in that pain. She hoped not, and that she was not evil enough to do that to someone she had just met. That would really suck, on her part at least it would.
'And you're talking to me because? Rude much?! Deline thought sarcastically. She knew that she, herself, could be quite the female dog but she rarely asked a question like this. And she knew that she never talked to a stranger like this. This girl seemed just plain rude. She knew she shouldn't be a hypocrite like she was at the moment, because she acted like this at times. This girl was really starting to bother her. She would love to beat the crap out of her, but she did not want to get on her bad side with her ability.
"Because I'm frickin' paranoid." Deline responded to her question strangely smugly. She was not sure why she was so smug at the moment. She should not be, for the sake of her mental health. Though, with her past, real pain did not seem to hurt as much. She remembered welcoming pain at one point in time, not long before she went off to college. She internally shuddered at the unpleasant memory. She could remember her scarred arms as if they were from yesterday. But since she was changed, her skin was perfectly smooth as if they had never been there.

Jane looked at the female vampire whose name was Deline. She had a smug smile on her face. Jane watched Delines face as she shook her hand. Her face looked like she was scared. Jane smiled she didn't know why she looked scared. But it was good enough.
"Because I'm frickin' paranoid."Deline responded to her question smugly. Jane narrowed her eyes at the red head. It was quite a strange reason to speak to someone for. But the female did look a bit different. Not in a mean way but in a happy sort of way.
Jane pushed her hair out of the way. "Paranoid of what? Jane asked smiling. She was starting to get interested in the female she had only just meet. Jane smiled at the female and rocked herself for no reason.

[[ OOC: Sorry it's so small. I have no muse and want to post before so leave. ]]
'Paranoid of what?' Deline could think of many responses to her simple question. She chuckled quietly to herself. She was just plain weird. She was perfectly aware of that, though. She was also proud to be so unique and different. It made her different from most peope she knew. This girl seemed odd and unique also, but coming from Dede that was a compliment and not an insult. She also definitely did not want to get on the strangers bad side.
"Everything." Deline said with a grin. It was true, she was paranoid of everything. Though, over the years, she was starting to get used to it. That was a good thing. She was tires of being so paranoid and jumping at some of the smallest things. Frogs even freaked her out. She knew they could not even hurt a human, but she was still terrified if them for some reason. They just creeped her out completely. She knew back when she was a human, most of her friends would walk straight up to the frog and pick it up. But she never would.

Jane sat on the ground looking at the bugs they were ugly things. Which brought back a memory from her childhood. Jane and Alec use to always pick up bugs and make little farms out of bark and dried grass. They never done that since being turned and truthfully Jane forgot about it and Alec probably did to. Jane made a not to herself in her head and turned her head back to Deline.
"Everything." Deline said with a grin. This vampire was strange indeed how could you possibly be paranoid of everything. Jane raised an eyebrow at the red head. Jane didn't know what to say about that she wasn't going to be rude and say she was strange because she wasn't in the mood. But she did want to be alone so she decided she would have a conversation with the female and then she would eventually be alone once again.
"Everything ey?" Jane said smiling at Deline. She couldn't possibly be much kinder even know she wasn't being kind. Which Jane was never kind and wasn't planing on it anytime soon. She liked her evil ways and always would.

'Everything eh?' "Yup." She popped on the 'p'. Deline gave a single nod to what she considered a question. Most people probably would not consider it a question, but being the odd person she was she did. Her finger twisted in her fiery hair, letting the wind blow it around. She did not mind, in the past few years she had gotten quite used to it. A crack of thunder filled the air, but oddly Del did not jump. She was surprised with herself, as she was extremely paranoid. That's off strange of me. She thought, pursuing her lips for a moment.
Deline let her eyes wander to the sky. She had not noticed earlier that day the bundle of gray clouds starting to cover it. She assumed that it would rain soon. It's not like it really mattered for her. She had gotten used to the warm rain water pelting against her skin, and even the hail bouncing off or shattering at the impact. "So, what brings you to this neck of the woods?" She asked curiously, her eyes falling back onto the other girl's. A small smile was on her face, just enough to be polite.

"Yup." Deline said and popping on the 'p' and gave a small nod. Jane watch Deline looked up at the sky the clouds were gray and it looked like it was going to rain. A small crack of thunder blow though the air. Jane expected Deline to jump but she didn't.
"So, what brings you to this neck of the woods?" Deline asked with a small smile on her face. Jane didn't actually know herself she just went for a run and ended up in here. "I just went for a run, Why are you here?" Jane said answering the girls question and adding her own.
Jane let a small sigh fall though her lips. Jane didn't mind when it rained but sometime she did. She stood up from the place on the ground and wiped the dirt off of her self something she always had done. She pulled the hood of her cloak up on her head. So her hair wouldn't get wet.

"I just went for a run, why are you here?" Deline was not quite sure why she was here. In fact, she did not know where here' was. She did not know if she was in North Carolina, or all the way up in New York. One of her failures had always been navigation. She had never owned a compass, and only knew which direction everything was during sunrise or sunset. She also had never learned that trick where you lick a finger, and can tell which direction everything is by the wind. She had tried it, but never understood it.
"I'm not quite sure." Deline said softly. Most of the branches covered the rain from her, the leaves fanning out in every which way. She could still feel it, some sliding off of leaves and others falling right through the thin canopy. She did not mind the rain at all, in fact she quite enjoyed it. Slowly, her hair darkened from the wetness, making it wavier and stick to her pale neck. It was now warm, as the rain water was definitely warmer the her cold skin. Most water that she had felt as a vampire was much warmer.

"I'm not quite sure." Deline said softly. Jane laughed at her it was just the way she said it that made it funny. It wasn't nice to laugh at other people but Jane wasn't a nice person and she wasn't going to change any time soon. For any one or any thing. Jane looked up at the sky again the clouds were getting darker. If that was even possible.
"Well that very helpful isn't it?" Jane said to the female. A drop of water hit Jane on the forehead and she wiped it of. Jane didn't think she was in a rain forest so it was all good. Jane sighed again and lent against the tree behind her and let her eye lay on Deline and smiled.

'Well that isn't very helpful isn't it?' Deline merely shrugged at that. She crossed her legs Indian style, ignoring the raindrops pelting against her skin. "I suppose it is not. But not everything in life has a reason for being, does it Jane?" She questioned, raising her eyebrows. She had to admit to herself, she had a very good point. She was not one for many wise saying to come out of her mouth, but she had some smart moments like that. She brushed back her fiery red hair that was now darker because of the rain water.
Deline positioned her elbows on her knees, and rested her head on her hands. She could feel the warm water being pulled d own because of the force of gravity, leaving a trail of warmness down her cool skin. The wind was not able to blow her hair as easily, as the water was weighing it down too much for it to fly as freely in the wind. She did not mind. She could tell by the temperature in the air at the moment that it was very possibly for hail to come down, but she would not mind it.

Jane watched as Deline crossed her legs. She didn't seem to mind the rain."I suppose it is not. But not everything in life has a reason for being, does it Jane?" Deline said raising an eyebrow. Jane stared at the red head female she wasn't happy with her response. Jane hated when others acted wise the only person Jane did mind being wise was Aro.Jane was now not in as a good mood as had been before. She was now back to her normal rude, evil self.
"Actually if you think about it everything does Deline" Jane said adding Delines name like she had with hers. Jane had to calm herself down she felt like using her power on her. But decided she would leave it for the moment. Jane would use it on her when she got worse. A smirk grew on her face as this thought ran though her head. With a couple of images of seeing Deline in pain.

"Actually if you think about if everything does Deline." She responded with a shrug, carefully taking in her words. She certainly did not mean to anger her, or have her use her ability on her. That was not on her list of things to do. She brushed back some hair that had been blown in her face as she thought. She was not truly sure who was correct with this, but would like to think she was. Of course, that was mainly because she hated being proven wrong. It was a pet peeve of hers, that was for sure.
"I can understand what you mean. I was never a religious person of any sort, I base everything on the known facts. Why were some people beautiful, and some not? It can create jealously, which leads to war which leads to death. If there is a God watching humans, I doubt he would want that. There is the need for balance in the world, butto me that would mean equal looks and brains. That might create a less exciting world, but it would be peaceful." Deline said after a few minutes of thinking. She was not sure where that came from.

Deline shrugged at what Jane had said. This put a smile on her face for some reason maybe because Deline looked a little stunned. Jane thought that Deline was one of those people that like being didn't like been proven wrong. Jane herself hated being proven wrong and would do anything to get others proven wrong other then her.
"I can understand what you mean. I was never a religious person of any sort, I base everything on the known facts. Why were some people beautiful, and some not? Jane was shocked at what Deline had came out with but it didn't show.
Jane shook her head. "Deline I would not know your the one telling me this information. Jane said to Deline not exactly know how to respond so she decide to respond in a rude manner. Jane's lips turn into a small smirk as she crossed her arms across her body.

"Deline I would not know you're the one telling me this." Del heard her speak. She could tell that she could not think of a better response than that. She pressed her lips in a thin line to keep from smirking like she was. It was not the easiest thing for her to do, and she was pretty sure that it would show in her eyes.
"What's that suppose to mean?" Deline asked in a perfectly innocent tone of voice. She was glad her abilities to act had improved dramatically. Without them now, people would surely know the existence of vampires. That, and she would have died. She really did not want to die yet, especially now that she knew for sure she would not land in Heaven, if there was one.

Jane didn't really know what it was suppose to mean herself. "No Idea" Jane said truthfully with the smirk still on her pretty face. Her red eyes looked at the female now. She was starting to get kind of annoyed by her. Jane sat back down making sure her robe was under neither her.

A smirk finally spread across her face as Jane spoke. "No idea." The two simple words gave her some type of sense of victory, for some reason. Why, she was not sure. She could still feel the rain falling through the thin canopy of leaves hanging above her. She, unlike Jane, did not have a long black robe with a hood to keep her dry. She did not really care though, it didn't matter. Her short fiery red hair did not hold water as easily as it did when she was a human, much to her relief.
"Really? Then what is the point in saying something when you don't even know what it means?" Deline said, a slightly taunting edge to her voice. She was letting her meaner side show a little bit, mainly from annoyance with the girl. She did not like to be annoyed, and was hardly keeping herself from lunging towards her throat. She was aware that Jane was a part of the Volturi, so it was probably not a good idea to try and kill her.

“Really? Then what is the point in saying something when you don’t even know what it means?” Deline said not looking as happy as before. Jane was probably getting to her like she usually did with everyone else. That was the reason she didn’t have friends outside of the Volturi. She annoyed them to much Alec, Aro and Sulpicia didn’t mind it all that much. Jane probably wasn’t even being annoying around them because she didn’t need to be. Alec was her twin brother and she loved him and they acted like best friends and told each other everything. This was before and after being a vampire. Jane looked up to Aro and saw him as her father figure. Sulpicia was more Jane’s friend then anything sometimes they even acted like sisters.
Jane didn’t seem to be worried about the fact that Deline looked like she was about to leap across and grab her throat. Plenty of people had wanted to kill her and some even tried but they didn’t succeed with it. Jane just used her power which always came in handy with things like that. Sometimes Jane just used it for her own joy seeing someone in pain because of her sometimes made her feel proud of herself. She had used it lots of times before and wasn’t afraid to use it on Deline if she tried anything. Jane and Alec were the two most powerful in the Volturi guard and were the most useful in most situations. Jane smiled at the female and then returned to her normal calm face. ”Well Deline. Sometimes you just do.” Jane said to the female.

- - - - - - - - - -"Well Deline. Sometimes you just do." Mentally, Deline cursed towards Jane. That she had not expected her to say, which was a slight understatement. She hadn't even expected a real answer, for her to be silent and sulk slightly. That was a disappointment to her, quite a bit. She hated it when that happened; it made her feel and sometimes look like an idiot. She then realized the wrongness in what the young looking girl had said.
With a smirk, Deline spoke. "Well, you just contradicted yourself. You just spoke that it all has a purpose, but what you just admitted said that exact opposite." Would she know what contradicted mean? The redhead was not sure how long the word had been around, nor how old this girl was. It was impossible for her to be sure, but she spoke it anyway. If she didn't know the word, that would probably make her happier.

Jane smiled at the female as she looked disapointed about something most like about what Jane had said But it wasnt a big deal and it didnt get to her. Jane was always confortadant in what she said and didnt care if it didnt make sense it always made the other person confussed or annoyed with her. Jane couldnt help but laugh to herself at the thought. She stopped and her face turned back to having no emotion.
"Well, you just contradicted yourself. You just spoke that it all has a purpose, but what you just admitted said that exact opposite." Deline said with a smirk on her face she obversliy thought Jane didnt know what 'contradicted' ment or aleast hoped she didnt. But unfortanley for Deline, Jane was much older then her and had been around longer then she had.
Jane smiled at Deline and began to speak. "Deline, I may not look it but im older then you and most likely know more things which means i do know what the word contradicted means," Jane said letting Deline know what she was thinking.

She managed not to change her facial expression at the disappointing words, and kept the smirk their. She hadn't been sure about it or not, but managed not to be disappointed about it.
"I am aware. I'm hardly the age to be a mother, if I was a human. I was not aware how long some of my vocabulary has been around, since as you said you are much older than myself." Deline explained with a calm expression. She had some honesty in her words, but not all of it was true. She managed not silp any insulting words in there, for the sake of her mental health.

Jane smiled at her but it wasn’t one of those smiles that were friendly nor was it one of those other smiles. It was just a smiled because Jane didn’t know what else to do.
Jane laid her head back on the tree and looked up at the sky. The grey clouds moved very slowly though the dark sky as the rain fell down. ”Actually you could be a mother, you just wouldn’t be aloud,” Jane said she was being smart she was just being truthful which was kind of strange.

- - - - - - - - - - 'Actually you could be a mother, you just wouldn't be allowed.' Deline was aware that was true. Some people these days were pregnant before they were even out of high school. Some were victims or rape, while others were just...well, she couldn't exactly remember the word. It had been a long time since she had had the need of knowing that word.
"I suppose that is true. But I didn't feel like sleeping with every guy I knew." Deline spoke softly, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly at her thoughts. It wasn't the word that she had been trying to remember, but it did work in it's place.

”I suppose that is true. But I didn’t feel like sleeping with every guy I knew” Deline said softly with a small smile. Jane couldn’t help but smirk she knew there were quite a few people younger then the age of Deline that probably did sleep with every guy they knew and some probably had more then one child each. But Jane knew she would never to such a thing it was something stupid to do ruining your own life with a child. Jane couldn’t have children anyway she was a Vampire and Vampires could not get pregnant.
Jane sighed and then turned her gaze to Deline. ”I too would never do such a thing to my life,” Jane said to Deline with a small smile. Jane decided to stop being so rude and give Deline a chance. ”So.. How did you become a vampire?” Jane asked she didn’t know very much about the vampire standing before her and wanted to know a little bit before she judged her.

It just didn't make any sense to her. No one really wanted to be pregnant at seventeen or eighteen, and it was almost always an accident. Whether good or bad depended on the parents and the child.
