Bella couldn't believe Edward had made Alice take her hostage and make sure she didn't run off to La Push. Which she probably would have done as she had made plans with Jake that she had to cancel now. And the only reason Alice was doing was so she could get her yellow Porsche, but wasn't just for this time it was for every time he went hunting. Bella could only imagine what Alice had in store for her. Bella got out of the car as they pulled into the garage.
School had just ended and Bella hadn't been in a good mood all day. Since Alice told her this morning she was not going to make this very easy for Alice.

Alice parked the car in the garage and got out quickly. She wore a great grin on her face as she went into the trunk to get Bella's sleepover bag and quickly going around to walk with her. Bella didn't look very happy, and hadn't said a word on the car ride there after she found out that Alice was basically going to hold her hostage. Her mood obviously hadn't changed. "Oh cheer up, Bella! It'll be fun, you'll see." She encouraged.

"Fun," Bella repeated in an unhappy tone. Bella stepped out of the car. Bella knew how Alice liked to dress her up like a doll doing her hair, cloths, nails, everything. Bella knew Edward had done this because he wanted her to be safe, but she would have been safe in La Push to.
Bella walked into the house it was always bright and open as always. The one place they didn't have to hide as Edward had said one time. Maybe it wouldn't be to bad considering she being held against her will.

Alice shot Bella a quick glare before walking into the house. "I'm not going to torture you, Bella! Just think of this as a slumber party." She tried to keep it lighter as she got to the foot of the staircase and turned to face Bella. "I'm just going to go put your bag upstairs, unless you want to do it yourself. You'll be sleeping in Edward's room, by the way." The tiny vampire informed the human.

Bella smiled at Alice, "Who's definition of torture?" Bella would attempt to have fun, but didn't think she would succeed very well. Of course Bella figured it couldn't be as bad as she thought. She would attempt to have fun, but probably wouldn't succeed very well. Great she would be sleeping on the couch. Not that had really expected anything different they never slept.
"You can," Bella replied trying to a bit more cheerful. "Do you think I could use the phone," Bella asked. She needed to cancel some plans that she had planned with Jacob.

Alice rolled her eyes at Bella. "Actual torutre. You'll see, you'll have loads of fun." She assured the girl infront of her with a smugish expression.
Alice nodded. "Ok, I be right back. Don't try anything silly, I'll see it coming." She tapped her temple with her finger. She turned on her heals and startedto climb quickly up the first staircase, but coming I a halt at the landing ontop. She looked down at Bella. "Ya, sure. My cell's on the table. Don't go calling the cops -- well your dad -- or anyone else to come and get you." The short vampire warned before heading off, up the other flight of stairs and into Edward's room. There, she placed Bella's bag on the large bed they had placed in the room for her. Edward wasn't going to let her sleep on the couch or the floor, of course.
Dashing back downstairs, Alice went into the living room, turning on the television and sittingdown on the sofa; she was going to leave Bella some little bit of privacy on the phone.

Bella simply nodded her head as she watched Alice run up the stairs. Bella grabbed the phone and dialed Jake's numbers. As always he was happy to hear her, but she had bad news. He asked her if he wanted her to bail her out as tempting as that was she had to decline. She had been looking forward to spending time with Jake this weekend, but Alice wasn't going to let that happen.
Bella walked into the living room and took a seat on the couch. Now that she had her plans canceled and was being held hostage she looked at Alice. She knew she was doing this for her own good, didn't they understand she would be just as safe in La Push? Bella tried to keep her face cheerful, though her mood was anything but happy.

Alice was actually happy that her and Bella were spending time together, she was like a sister to her and one day, Alice hoped, she would be. I was highly probable, Edward was so inlove with this girl and vise versa. Alice understood, and hadn't tried to stop them. Nothing could keep true love from taking its course. And Edward had gone through 90+ years without a single female interest, it was fate, Alice thought, just like when she met Jasper.
Bella walked into the living room after hanging up on Jacob -- cancelling plans, Alice had heard a little involontaraly -- and came to sit next to the small vampire. "This reminds me, you can call him, you know. It would pout his mind at ease if he knew you were actually here." She stated to the human who sat next to her, reffering to Edward. "Leave him a message; he's hunting, he won't answer right away." Alice said all this without even looking away from the television and she flicked through the channels.

Bella looked at the phone when Alice told her she could call Edward. Bella started dialing and put the phone to her ear. The phone rang followed by a beep their was no message. "You are in trouble," Bella emphasized each word. "Enormous trouble. Angry grizzly bears are going to look tamed next to what is waiting for you at home." Bella snapped the phone closed and handed the phone to Alice.
"I'm done," Bella said looking at Alice. "So what are you going to put me through now?" Bella questioned. She could think of a few things Alice would want to do and would attempt to have fun, if only for Alice. After all it wasn't her fault it was Edward who was being over protective as always.

Alice faught a smile really strongly, but couldn't contain a little giggle; Edward was going to get an earfull, apparently. And to think of Bella being more agressif than a irritated grizzly bear. She took her phone back, putting it in her jeans pocket. "Well, I thought you would like to maybe relax a little after school. But, if you want to do something, we could do our nails or something." She suggested, a little exsited at the end, her eyes were alit, bright.

Bella figured she might as well and let Alice have her fun. She was like a sister in many ways and she liked for her to be happy. It wouldn't be that bad and she would probably have some fun. She would just have to ignore the fact that she was being held against her will. "If you want to do nails, then we can do that," Bella replied. She knew Alice would have fun and she didn't want to deny her that seeing her all excited her eyes bright. It wouldn't be any fun not letting her have her way.
Edward on the other hand was in enormous trouble. She was going to let him have it when he got back. Bella pushed those thought in the back of her mind and decided to attempt to have fun with Alice.

Alice smiled widely, Bella was getting into it -- as much as she could get into it. "Great!" she clapped her hands once. "What colour did you want?" She asked getting up. (mega short, ubber brainfart. )

Bella couldn't help but smile at Alice. She was always happy it seemed and sometimes it was hard to stay mad at her. "Whatever color you think is best," Bella figured to let Alice have all her fun choosing which color. At least she wasn't taking her shopping he knew how long that would last.
Bella tried not to think of Edward or Jacob. She was furious at Edward why didn't he trust her she would be safe in La Push. And Jacob he wasn't to pleased that their plans had been canceled. She put this in the back of her mind focusing on Alice and what she was planning.

Alice grinned at Bella; she loved spending time with her. "Ok, great!" She chirped. The girl went off to get a few bottles of nail polish and quickly returned, sitting back down on the sofa again. "You can do mine too, if you want. I feel like I'm always playing with you like a doll." Alice commented. Bella never complained -- much -- when Alice dressed her up and did her hair, and such, but the petite vampire thought that maybe Bella would like to do something too. Like painting nails -- even if the paint would wear off in about an hour, like contact lenses did -- or doing hair.
Alice looked at the colours and shades of polish she had placed out on the coffee table; bubblegum pink, glamor orange, ruby red, evergreen, navy blue, limegreen, plum purple, golden yellow, blue lagoon, sunny peach, etc. Trying to pick which one would be best for Bella.

Bella smiled at Alice as she replied happily. "Oh, I feel like a doll," Bella replied still sounding happy. "If you want me to I will," Bella added she didn't care whatever would make her happy. Bella looked at the nail polish she had laying out who knew which one she would choose. But she would attempt to make this a good experience for both her and Alice. She couldn't say it was completely torture yet and it wasn't Alice's fault that she had to kidnap her.
She would save all her anger for Edward when he got back. Angry grizzly bears would be nothing compared to her when she saw him. Though she said that now when she saw him it might be a different story. She missed him she really did, but she was still angry.

Alice giggled at Bella's moquery. "You would feel less like a doll if you were like normal girls, who have sleep overs with friends all the time and do their nails and so on." Bella was very different from normal girls, but what could she do. Looking at the colours for an other moment, Alice picked the vial of evergreen. "I think this one would suite you."

"I've never been normal," Bella replied smiling at Alice. She never had been even before she moved to Forks. She never really fit in Phoenix and while she did fit in somewhat here she never did really belong. She was always going after dangerous things, getting herself in trouble. She could never imagine anyone calling her normal.
"You have better taste than me," Bella said. There were so many colors laying out in front of her, she honestly wouldn't know which one to choose.

The tiny vampire giggled warm-heartedly as she shook the vial of nail polish. "I guess not. But it's what makes you so great, and unique." Bella had never been very normal, and Alice never thought she would be. But it's what made her her. Alice unscrewed the bottle and took Bella's hand, applying the evergreen coloured paint onto her finger nails delicatly and perfectly with little need for concentration. "Yes, I do. Your sense of style is all wrong for you, Bella. You could look so beautiful if you tried -- not that you aren't beautiful already, but you get my point." Alice ranted as she started on the next hand.
When she was finished with the painting, putting the brush back into the vial, screwing it to a close again, Alice looked at Isabella curiously. "So, worse than an irritated grizzly, eh? Have you ever seen one?" She teased the human girl who sat next to her.

Bella flushed when Alice told her her being not normal made her great and unique. She didn't think she was that great, but she had never really seen herself that clearly Edward certainly told her that over and over. "And that's why I got you," Bella replied when she said her sense of style wasn't good. And it probably never would be, but she would let Alice dress her up as much as she wanted. She always had fun doing so.
"I've never seen one," Bella admitted. "But he'll be wishing he was facing and irritable grizzly bear," Bella replied with narrowed eyes. Bella sighed she missed him so much, but she was angry with him. He didn't have to have Alice kidnap her and every time he goes hunting. It wasn't fair. Jacob could keep her safe just as much as Alice could.

Alice flashed a smile at Bella. She turned back to the table full of nail polish bottles and took a light gray colour before turning back to Bella and taking her hand once again. "Well, who else would help you look like you should." Alice chuckled lightheartedly as she traced tiny, complecated patterns at the ends of Bella's nails in the light gray paint quickly. "You look like you work at as a janitor in a truck stop half the time." The petite girl shook her head, but shot a joking look up at her.

Bella watched as Alice started making complicated patterns on her nails. Her thoughts went back to Edward and Jacob. She didn't see why the two couldn't get along. It was something that would always bother her. She knew Edward was just trying to protect her, but she would be safe in La Push Jacob wouldn't let anything happen to her.
Bella laughed lightly at Alice's comment. "I don't think I dress that bad," Bella didn't have a great sense of still and compared to Alice's it probably was like a janitor in a truck stop. But of course to Alice's critical eye it was hard to please her with style when you didn't have much of one.

Alice finished off with the patterns on Bella's last nail and once again put the closed bottle of polish on the table. The vampire grinned. "Well, ok. Maybe not that bad, but you could try a little harder, Bella. Just a tiny bit." She plead the girl. Isabella could look a lot better on her own if she tried a harder.

[[Kind of short sorry.]]
Bella didn't really mind how she dressed and didn't want to change it. "Not everyone can dress up as well as you," Bella reminded her. She had a great sense of style and it was hard for anyone to match up with her. "Just think if I did dress better," Bella said looking at Alice. "Then you'd have no one to dress up." Bella knew Alice enjoyed dressing her up despite how much she didn't like it. She let Alice have her fun she would probably try dressing her up in several outfits during this 'sleepover.'

The pixie smiled at the girl's complement. Alice did have a high quality sense of style and fashion. "Wrong, Bella. If you dressed better, then I'd have someone to take shopping with me and not complain." Shesaid in a serious tone adding a little giggle at the end, of course.
"I don't just what you around because I like to, as you say, use you as a doll. I like to have you around because you are like a sister I wish I had, really. And you are very fun." Alice couldn't remember her sister and what kind of relationship they had had. She liked to think it was a good one.

Post by bella on Apr 15, 2009 23:53:15 GMT -5
"Not complaining while shopping?" Bella asked. "What a shock that would be," Bella laughed. She had to admit it wasn't so bad being here. She was enjoying herself and having fun with Alice it made it more bearable.
"Dressing me up is just a perk of having me around," Bella replied. She knew Alice was like a sister and she was important to her. Even though he hated thinking about when they left she had missed them all everyone single one of them. They were all important to her. And to hear Alice reassure her that she was important to her as well made Bella happy.

She shrugged at Bella's fake shock. "It would be quite amusing to have someone deliteful to take shopping -- do not tell Rose I said that, please." She muttered flutterly. "I guess it isindeed a perk, though I enjoy just having you here. The dressing up part is just for my own delite of seeing you in the apropreate clothes you should and could wear." She admitted as she pushed the vials of muticoloured polishes into their box. When she looked back at Bella, she grinned mischiviously. "And the fact that you let me do it is a great bonus, an even bigger one if that you do not start doing these things on me in return. I get to dress you up and you let me. Only downfall is your grumpiness.
"Are you really mad at Edward for telling me to watch you? Do not blame him, Bella." [/blockquote]

"I'll try to be a little happier about it," Bella replied smiling at Alice. She loved to dress her up and while Bella didn't really like it she didn't mind to much. She wonder what she make her put on tonight hopeful something not to horrible. But she would try to not make a big deal over it whatever it happened to be.
Bella sighed of course she was upset with Edward. "I don't see why he doesn't trust me. I would be just as safe in La Push as I am here," Bella replied. She was confident in that. She knew Jacob and the others in his pack wouldn't let anything happen to her as they did when he wasn't here. She hated thinking about that lonely time when Edward had left her. But it was true. If it wasn't for the werewolves she wouldn't be here. Laurent would have gotten her if hadn't been for them. "He should be able to trust them I don't see what the big deal is." Bella had heard over and over they are natural enemies they can't get along, but she didn't believe that. Couldn't they just get along?

She flashed a great smile at Bella. "That will do. Thank you." At least Isabella was going to try and enjoy herself, perhaps that would lead her to actually having fun. Alice didn't want to be very pushy tonight though, Bella didn't seem too pleased with Edward and too much could be bad for her.
"It is not that he does not trust you, Bella. He just wants what us best for you. And he trusts me in keeping you safe, I was all willing to help. You are like my sister now, so I told him I would gladly do it... Plus he promised me a car. How could I turn back on my decision, then?" She explained and rambled on a little.
"Bella. They are werewolves, we are vampires. They are our worst enemies and we are theirs. Edward does not want the love of his life in the hands of his enemies."[/blockquote]

Even though Bella was trying to have a fun time she didn't like how things were. So what if they were werewolves and vampires they were all the same to her and she didn't see why the couldn't understand that. "I'll be just as safe in La Push as I would here," Bella knew that was true she didn't care why they were making such a big deal about it. Couldn't she be friend with all of them?
They were natural enemies she had heard that over and over. She was tired of it. "I don't like how things are," Bella said crossing her arms. This was something she didn't want talk about right now. If she was going to try and have a fun time she would need to focus on something else.
"Let's not talk about this right now," Bella suggested uncrossing her arms and trying to smile and be a little happy. Edward better be prepared when he got home.

Alice sighed lightly as she thought of what she could tell Bella. "Perhaps, but Edward has been in those dogs' heads, and he does not seem to like it at all. Trust him. You know Edward only wants the best for you, no matter how extreme, he finds way to keep you safe and ease his mind." She explained, her dark butterscotch eyes looked at Bella with a pleeding gleem. "Plus, if you were with them, you would come back smelling horrible. And I think Edward would rather come back to find you exactly as he remembered you: in one piece, smelling very good and not revolting." The little vampire grinned hopefully to the human.
"Also we get to spend some time together and I get a car out of it." She mumbled in a barely audible voice, for the last part. Again, she sighed but this time with a little more annoyance. "Well Bella, I am sorry. But look at it this way, let's swap places. Let's say you were a vampire and I was a human." She started. "If Jasper asked you to, as you say it, take me hostage for a few days so that I would not be with your worst enemies, what would you do?" Alice hoped that would help prove her point.
"Alright, we will no longer talk about it." She granted Bella this one request.
