Emily and Tanya had met once, by chance on one of her shopping trips in Seattle. Now they were going to meet again, on the very edge of La Push. Emily liked Tanya, she seemed to live a very exciting life style, she was fun and she had this way of making ordinary things seem so much more extraordinary.
She wore a pair of jeans, a turquoise blouse and a pair of black Mary Jane's. She had her long black hair down and it swirled around her gently in the light breeze. She loved the feeling of having her hair down, she couldn't wear it that way when she was cooking so she enjoyed it when she could wear it down.
She parked her Bug enjoying the friendly little beep when she hit the lock button and went to sit down on the hood.
She knew Sam probably wouldn't like the fact that she was meeting with a vampire, but he wasn't around enough to find out. Or at least she hoped today wasn't the day he decided to spend some time with her.
She pushed those thoughts away and sighed, it was beautiful today, not sunny in the least but the air seemed to carry a warm breeze.
She wondered if Tanya was having difficulty with her family, would they be less than thrilled that she was spending time with an imprintee of the wolves?

 Tanya parked her new motorbike. She had decided to get one when she saw one in the Cullen's garage since she had broken her last car through exuberant driving. She pulled her helmet off and let her blond hair fly around her head in the wind before pulling it into a ponytail using a length of ribbon.
She glanced around and saw, some way off, a cute little Bug. Although Tanya liked fast cars, she wouldn't mind one just because of how retro they looked. Sitting on the hood of a car was a figure: Emily. Tanya liked Emily because of how brave she was and how adoring to every thing. It was a are occasion when her hair was down.
Tanya's mouth widened into a huge smile as she walked towards the russet skinned girl, a bit too fast to be considered a human pace.
"Does the wolf know I'm planning to kidnap you?" Tanya laughed, sitting down next to Emily on the car, careful not to dent it.

Tanya appeared kind of sudden like but Emily had trained herself not to jump at such rapid movements. It wasn't easy not to though, it was her bodies natural reaction to be startled.
When Tanya took a seat next to her Emily wrapped her arms around her for a quick hug.
"Oh I'm so glad to see you!" She cried, a smile touching her lips.
"Thats new, I like it. What happened to your car?" Em asked, a half smile on her face. Knowing Tanya she'd probably worn the poor thing out.
For a moment the breeze lifted her hair and it covered the scars on Emily's face. For a moment she was that wild, young, beautiful girl that she used to be. She was still fairly young, and beautiful in her own way, but the wild sided had been forced down with worry these recent years.
Today Emily was all about the fun.
She held out both wrists to Tanya, as if she were going to handcuff her.
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him." Emily replied a wicked little smile on her lips.
She did care about what Sam thought. She knew he wouldn't like her hanging out with Tanya but Emily knew she could trust Tanya and wasn't going to give up her friend ship because Sam didn't trust her.

Tanya smiled widely as Emily hugged her. Tanya was careful not to break the girls bones because that would certainly ruin this fun day. "I'm glad to see you too."
When Emily made a mention about Tanya's car, she laughed slightly although if she was a human, an embarased blush would have creeped onto her cheeks. "Yeah, that." Tanya giggled lightly as she looked at her Ducate. "It's my new baby. My last car was a bit of a crash and burn...literally." Tanya laughed as she remembered her car spinning off the road as Tanya tried to make it go faster then cars really should.
Tanya laughed as she had a silly thought of Emily creeping out of her house all in blac as if a robber in one of those stupid children's cartoons. Tanya held onto Emily's wrists. "So, does this mean that i have you all day?" Tanya smiled, showing off her brilliant white teeth. "Just what i wanted!"

Emily smiled when Tanya hugged her back. She was surprised at how good she was at gaging just how much Emily's human bones could take.
"Awwww poor car!" Emily said, picturing her own precious Bug all smashed and on fire. She patted it gently as if to tell it she wouldn't risk doing anything like that to her baby.
"Well this hopefully will survive you." Em joked looking at the bike.
Emily giggled when Tanya's hand's went around her wrists making an unbreakable hold.
She shook her head at Tanya, a grin spreading across her face.
"All day." She agreed with a small giggle.
"What do you have planned for this fantastic stolen day?" Emily asked
She felt almost giddy with impatience, it wasn't every day that Emily Young got to be childish and wild, she was going to live it up.

Tanya giggled, pating Emily's bBug gently too, hopeing she ddn't dent her dear frends car. Tanya knew Em loved her Bug more then abything, except her wolf of a husband. Hell, maybe she would take the car over him any day.
Tanya glanced at her new motorbike and laughed. "I'll be careful with driving this time. I love him so much I'm tempted to name him." Tanya laughed. "Yes, It's a him." Tanya dared Emily to question her sanity.
Tanya released Emily's wrists and took her hand. She tilted her head to the side and made a big deal out of 'thinking.' "Well... There's tonnes of things we could do. It's overcast today." Tanya stated, smiling. "What do you wanna do? Shopping?"

"I think if I were you I'd have broken some cars as well." Emily allowed with a small shrug. As if a car was no big expense
"Your car insurance must suck." She added with out thinking.
She gave Tanya an apologetic half smile.
"Awwww so it's a he!" Emily cried with a wild little laugh, "Mine's name is kitten." She looked at Tanya with one eye brow raised.
"Don't judge I got her in high school. That and cup cake were my favorite pet names." She smiled thinking about the old days. Leah had loved driving her Bug.
Emily looked up at the sky, her blue black hair failing around her like a pair of dark wings.
"It's always over cast." She said with a small sigh.
She took a deep breath, the scent of the world after a fresh rain. She could stand it for that reason alone.
"Shopping?" Emily asked, sitting up quickly a smile lighting up her face.
"Shopping is fun." She said trying to act nonchalant after her excited reaction of before it pretty much failed.

Tanya made some non-committed shrug. She wasn't about to tell her friend that she didn't drive with insurance. It would be far to complicated. A small smile met her face as she suppressed a laugh.
"Your Bug's a kitten?" Tanya grinned. "I'm not judging. It's cute." Tanya considered what to call her bike. She loved using normal, human names and she generally named her cars after people (or vampires) she knew. "I think I'll call mine Ace. It was a guy i use to know ages ago." The name suited her Ducate. Ace meant the best, number one.
Tanya laughed as she heard Emily's comment and her expression as she said it. Tanya adored the Olympic Peninsula because it was always cloudy but she always found funny the human's wish for sunlight. Tanya did love the sun but it prevented her from going outside. "Plus, shopping meas there's shelter if it starts to rain." Tanya said brightly. But Tanya loved the rain. It was always so pretty and she never felt the cold that came with it since she, herself, was much colder.
"Although I'd love to go cliff diving sometime. I heard some of the pack talking about it before." Tanya hinted although she doubted if Emily would want to join her atop the high cliffs. Vampire's had a great advantage in the water.

"Yeah she's my kitten." Emily allowed, sighing as she looked at her car. She hadn't been able to drive her for awhile because Sam was back and he was a little on the over protective side these days.
"Ace fits him." Emily said "Hopefully you liked this Ace person and you won't feel the need to crash him into a tree." She teased
"Your right. It might be a bad idea to do...outside things. I'm all for dancing in the rain until I turn into an Emcicle." She said with a giggle.
When Tanya mentioned cliff diving Emily couldn't help but wince. That might be pushing Sam to his breaking point, and Emily didn't have a death wish.
"Uh I don't know about that. I'm not as unbreakable as you and the wolves are. I think Sam would kill me." Em frowned a little, it did look like fun but she remembered what happened to Bella when she jumped. Jake and Sam had, had to save her.
"It might be fun to watch you jump one day Tanya but I doubt I'll be joining you." Emily smiled at her friend.
"So shopping, where, and with what transportation?" Emily asked

Tanya laughed. "I would never do that to my new baby. This one's a keeper...until I get a jet plane that is." Tanya imagined her Ducati in a tree, on fire and she shuddered. Tanya had a very lfe-like imagination.
Tanya snorted quite un-attractivly. "Emcicle?" Tanya rolled her eyes, laughing. "I'm always an Emcicle...well, a Tancicle." Tanya adored the rain so much. Everything about it lured her in. Although singing in it would definitly be fun, she didn't want to be ripped to shreds by the wolf for making an 'Emcicle.' "Good idea."
Tanya pouted. "He'd never kill you because you got him whipped, hon. It's me he'd kill and not just figerativly." Tanya wondered how amazing it would be to have someone, even a wolf, so compleatly dedicated to her. But imprints didn't always just mean pros.
"Can you imagne yourself sitting on Ace?" Tanya countered. "Anyway, I wanna see you drive your Kitten. If i drove, you'd see first-hand what my last car looked like wrapped around a tree...except my last car was a different colour."

Emily tried not to wince as she pictured Tanya flying around in a jet plane. The idea was slightly frightening, not because she was worried for the plane, more for Tanya although she knew Tanya would survive an accident, she still couldn't help but worry for her friend.
Emily giggled, "Well I didn't think of that miss Tancicle." She said smiling.
The thought of Emily having Sam whipped made her eyes grow big in surprise until she broke out with a rather loud laughing fit.
"Whipped? I don't think so. He doesn't like me to risk my safety and so is very over protective. It seems to me that he's the one in control." Although being controlling was bad, Sam did it for the best reasons and Emily wouldn't say anything but she liked it when Sam got all over protective sometimes.
When Tanya said Sam would kill her, Emily instantly stopped laughing, her face completely serious.
"I would never allow that." She said her voice harsh and utterly unlike her.
Emily was a protective too, over the ones she cared about. She was almost never mean or angry, unless you threatened someone, even an innocent stranger.
Which got Emily into trouble at times, especially with Sam.
Emily looked wide eyed at Tanya. No way was she killing her baby!
"Okay, so where are we headed? Somewhere like vaguely close by or more toward Seattle?" Emily asked eyes alight with the possibility of the day.

Tanya rolled her eyes. "What ever you want to think Miss. Young. No matter what, he'd come running home to you with his tail between his legs. Literally." Tanya giggled lightly, winking. "The woman is always in control of her man."
Tanya smiled at Emily, her eyes glowing. "Well, if you don't want us to start a fighting match, we better disapear...can't be having any Emcicles can we." Her tone was joking but Tanya truely appreciated Emily's protectiveness and love for everyone.
Tanya considered what to do, opening the passenger door and sliding on the seat. "We-ell." She stressed the word into two syllables. "Seattle surely sound good. I mean, I was considering a road trip across America." Tanya teased. "Wanna go to Vegas and get married? Could dress up like Elvis!"

Emily rolled her eyes at the mental image of Sam, in his wolf form, coming home to her tail between his legs. Emily never wanted there to be a reason to see that in real life. She never wanted there to be a reason for Sam to be sorry. She shook her head to stop the unset of bad thoughts and smiled at Tanya again.
"Well we all know any man you have miss Tanya is completely under your command." Emily said, wicked green lighting her face. As Tanya got into her car, her kitten, she smiled and slid into the drivers seat. Pulling out a pair of completely pointless sunglasses and slipping them on.
"Vegas huh? Oh you know your perfectly lovely Tanya but I already have myself a man." Emily said with a giggle, holding up her left hand and engagement ring.
"Plus those Elvis impersonates give me the creeps." Emily added, shaking her head.
She turned the car on, her kitten purring to life, and music blasted from the speakers.
Emily smiled apologetically at Tanya and turned the music down.
"Sorry I was sort of dancing along." She said
