Kristy was just walking along the beach close to the water. She hadnt really met anyone yet, it kinda bugged her but she was just happy to be out of the media's spotlight. She sighed and looked up the beach she could see a few people.
Sighing she sat down far enough from the water so that when it came up it wouldnt touch her. She smiled and then looked around and then laid back on the sand, it was a warmer day in Washington and she was happy. She was wearing a black mini skirt and a green t-shirt. She couldnt remember the last time she had on something shorter than capris.

Seth was chilling at the beach. It was the first day in a week that they had sunshine. So, of course he had to go and run down the shoreline, find a perfect spot to jump in the water, and go swimming. After all that he would go lay down and tan, like he always did on sunny days.
As he was running down the beach he heard something. As he turned his head to the side he accidently tripped over someone's legs. He quickly pushed himself back up and looked down at the girl. "Oh I'm am so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going. Uh sorry." He said, hoping the girl wouldn't be too mad.

Kristy was startled and sat up quickly she smiled and laughed when the boy kept saying sorry, "its alright dont worry about it" she says standing up, "im Kristy you are?" she asks putting her hand out. She was always very polite to people when she first met them. Thats how she had been raised. The boy was very tan he seemed to be fomr La Push she could tell by his coloring.

Seth took her hand and said, "Hey, I'm Seth. Haven't seen you around here before. Where you from?" He looked down the beach. He still had awhile to go before his perfect spot. But, he would take Kristy. It was the least he could do to make-up. Plus, he could bet that she needed friends here. If she was new of course. He was also awaiting the arrival of a new wolf that came from California.

Kristy smiles, "yeah I um moved her like a week ago...From Ohio" she says and looks at the water, "I came out here once when I was like eleven with my foster parents but I havent been back since" she says, "its beautiful out here" she says, glad he didnt recognize her like most people in the big city would.

Seth looked at her. It looked like she was trying to hide something, but what. "I see. Yeah, I've lived out here my whole life. So where you gonna go to school?" He asked. As he said this he started walking, hoping that she would continue talking to him. He was also wondering if she would walk along with him.

Kristy follows him, "I am um out of school" she laughs, "i've been out of school for about four years now" she says smiling, "I havent been to college yet though...Been to busy with my career path" she rolls her eyes and sighs. She looked at the water agian it was beautiful, she hadnt even been close to water in such a long time.

Seth looked at her curiously. She still looked very young. And what did she mean by [i.]career path[/i]. "O I see. Huh. What do you mean by career path?" He started walking more towards the water. Until his feet, were in it and he was walking only in it.

Kristy looked him for a moment and then smiles, "I'm kinda glad you dont know" she laughs and then rolls her eyes. "I was in the Olympics when I was younger...Plus I graduated at sixteen which was the same year I had gone to the Olympics" she smiles. She sighed, "I passed up the ones in China this year but oh well" she laughs again and looks away from him to the sky.

So that's what she meant. Seth thought. "Hold on one sec. This is the spot that I usually dive into because it's so deep." Seth ran to the edge of the water then jumped in., The cool touch of the water felt good against his hot skin. As he walked out, he looked for the perfect place to sit down. After a couple seconds looking around he found it. As fast as he could he ran over to it and sat down. "So, what did you do in the Olympics?" he questioned Kristy, once she caught up and sat down.

Kristy smiles sitting down next to him and laughs a little, "Wow its nice to hear that...I ride horses, I was on the Equestrian team...The Eventing Part at least" she says, "won gold my first time" she laughs, she hated to brag but sometimes things just pop out. She blushes a little she hadnt told anyone this in a long time since everyone usually knew. She was glad.

Seth laughed when Kristy bragged to him and blushed. He always somehow does that too. "So, equestrian huh. Was it hard? What kind of horse? How long have you been riding? Sorry about all theses questions. I do this a lot." He chuckled lightly at himself remembering when he would be a wolf and would do the same thing to Jake. He looked up at her and awaited her answer."

Kristy smiles, "its alright...yeah its hard, ive been riding like all my life...There was a period of like two years when I wasnt because of some problems...But yeah all my life, I rode two different horses in the Olympics my jumper and then my dressage horse. My jumper was Sterling Silver and my Dressage horse was Lightnings Desire...Silver was a black thorobred stallion and Desire was a grey hanovairion(sp lol) mare they were great..." she says going back to the cross country course..." she smiles.

Seth listened as he told her about her horses. "That's really cool. I was in the middle of a jog when I tripped over you. Would you like to join me as I finish it? I need to do a certain amount a day. When it's nice out of course." He laughed. When was it ever good weather in Forks. He hoped up and looked down at her awaiting her answer.

Kristy smiles and nods, "sure...I would usually run a mile each day anyway it will be good to start running again" she says and hops up, lucky for her she was wearing tennis shoes so she wouldnt have to worry about tripping in flip flops. She smiled and waited for him to see where he would go.

Seth smiled then took off on an easy jogging pace towards the pier. "how long are you going to stay in La Push?" He asked starting off with the questions again. He was really waiting for her to start asking him questions. Seth was starting to run out of the things to say. He checked to make sure he wasn't going to trip over anyone as he picked up the pace.

Kristy jogged easily with him, sometimes she thought running was second nature to her she smiled, "Um well hopefully for a long time...its where I plan to pretty much settle and live my life...There is the nicest little stable about five miles out of town so once my Olympic career is over I plan on going and instructing there" she says.

Seth looked back at Kristy. "That's pretty cool. It Must be a huge weight off your shoulders not having to worry about going to school anymore. Am i right?" He drifted over so that he could run partially in the water. He couldn't wait for his friend to come he was supposed to come sometime today but he wasn't sure. Seth was still waiting for him. He looked back at Kristy as she answered his question.

Kristy nods still keeping pace with him, "yeah its nice not having to wake up anymore that early for something no one wants to goto" she laughs rolling her eyes. She hopped over a stick that was in her way, probably looking like an idiot in the process as she slightly tripped over her own feet when she landed. When she recovered she was jogging again.

Seth stopped jogging and busted up laughing when Kristy tripped. That was the funniest thing he'd seen all day. "Sorry I am laughing. I haven't laughed for weeks. But, THAT was funny." He managed to say in between his laughs. He stopped laughing by biting his lip, but his lower lip was still quivering from trying to hold back a laugh that was in his mouth. He looked at her with a pleading look that said please don't be mad.

David had been told a little earlier, by Seth, that he was going for a run and he could join him if he wanted to. Now an hour later, he decided that would be a good idea. He drove his truck to the beach and parked it. David stood on one of the benches and spotted Seth running with a girl. He knew Seth had already imprinted and who it was. So, he knew that they were just friends.
David ran down to Seth and the new girl. Once he saw her, he knew he was in love. That's how it was with imprinting. Even if you didn't know the person, you instantly fall in love with them. That's it. "Hey, Seth. What's up?" Once Seth answered, he turned to the girl. "Hi, I'm David. One of Seth's friends. Who are you may I ask?" He stuck out his hand.

Seth had just started to laugh again when David came up. "Nothing much." He answered. He saw how David's eyes were full of love for this girl. Great, he imprinted. Seth thought, but happily. He was happy for his friend. David had been through ups and downs and maybe a girlfriend would cheer him up. he wondered how he was going to break the news to Kristy and how he was going to.

Kristy was rolling her eyes with another guy came up. This must have been the guys Seth had talked about. She smiled and looked at the Ocean while they two talked and then looked at David and took his hand and shook it.
She was blushing slightly she didnt really know why so she smiled, "Im Kristy its nice to meet you" she says with a warm, soft tone that she rarely heard come out of herself.

David heard the way Kristy's voice got softer and saw the way she smiled. He gave a little chuckle. Then, turned to Seth. "How much running to you have left?" He asked hoping that Seth would say at least another mile. But, he was disappointed when he heard that he was done. "Well then, let's go and lay out on the beach or run in to the ocean. Because I don't know if you guys can feel it but it's hot." He put on a smile that used to charm his old girlfriend. They had broken up because they could never agree and they always argued.

Seth chuckled at the same time as David. David and Seth had always almost been on the same wavelength. "Sorry, but we are finished. maybe we could all do something else. Any suggestions." He looked at the ocean then back at David as he gave suggestions. "I say the ocean then go chill. Is that cool with you? Oh and I have to leave pretty soon my mom said I have to be home before lunch. We haven't eaten together since the fight." Seth looked at David. Only the wolves and their imprint's knew about the Cullen's and the big fight that had happened.

Kristy smiles and laughs a little how they laughed at the same time, she sighed and nodded, "sure that sounds cool" she says looking at the water. She probably wouldnt swim because the Ocean was a little menacing to her and she didnt know why, she would most likely stand in it maybe ankle deep. She looked at Seth when he said something about a fight, she was a little confused but she had guessed it was something with his family and didnt ask any questions.

David ran into the water, then did a dive. This feels so good He came up and looked around Seth was a couple yards away so he decided to douse him with water. He turned and looked around for Kristy then saw that she was on the beach. Only up to her ankles. He got out and came over to her. "Why don't you come in. It feels sooooo good." He started laughing when Seth came up to the side of him and had seaweed all over his head. All of a sudden he heard a beeping then Seth ran off and got his phone. He said that he had to go. "Okay, well i will talk to you later. Bye." Then he turned back to Kristy and awaited her answer.

Kristy laughed when she saw Seth with Seaweed all over his head and rolled her eyes, "Its kinda cold and im a little impish when it comes to the Ocean, I havent swam in an Ocean for awhile...I mean dont get my wrong the Ocean is a great place, I just aint used to it. I usually swim in pools" she laughs, it sounded so snobby but she couldnt help it. She sighed and walked out a little farther up to her knees, she knew she would eventually goto her waist but she wouldnt swim.
She looked at David and smiled, he was so nice and so cute. She was lucky and glad she had met him.

Seth jumped in right behind David. He knew what David was going to do as soon as he put a smile on his face that looked like he was up to something. So, Seth obliged when David pushed him under. Seth saw David get out to go talk to David. So, he also got out. When Kristy and David turned and started laughing he said, "What?" When David pointed to his head, Seth shook it and seaweed went all over the place. Once he gave a little chuckle he heard his cell. He took off and grabbed it. It was his mom. Seth walked back over to David and Kristy and said, "Hey, I'm sorry, but my mom wants me home NOW. So talk to you all later." Then he took off for his car and drove home.
