Tia's thirst was great, and it was apparent in the pigment of her eyes. They were darkened, perhaps as dark as they got when one was on the edge of starvation. She had restrained herself for the whole journey but now, she was feeling weak. It was late at night and she removed the veil that concealed her face so that her once red eyes would not be seen by humans. They would have their misgivings indeed and Tia had not needed to eliminate any of their suspicions in a way that would grant her great satisfaction for it would satisfy her hunger...but that was then, and this was now. In the dead of night there were few humans around. In fact, there were none. She was not familiar with this land, so she felt lost in the rural area that she was traveling through.
She was alone. Benjamin was not with her, and she had grown so used to depending on him that when they were separated, she found herself at a great loss. She did not feel safe without him; she did not feel secure without him; she did not feel protected without him. And here she was, in a completely foreign land as an alien. She felt as if she could cry in this moment. But she was trying to remain strong, and waiting for that one break which would come when all hope seemed lost.
She fell to her knees, resting her hands on them. She looked down at the ground, trying to control her emotions before she suffered a breakdown. The hunger was not helping her situation it either way. All this to visit the Olympic Covens. Benjamin would meet her soon though, and that was the only thought that slightly calmed her. Perhaps that would be the last hope she needed. But for now, she just remained on her knees, in the dark, in the middle of no where.

Picking up an scent of another vampire in her area, Maria hissed in annoyance and quickly started tracking down the knew comer who's scent she did not know. She had a smiled plastered on her face and a evil tilt to her head that one might not recognized unless they were well used to dealing with Maria.
What she found however, was not a powerful intruder. It was not the mighty or powerful. There went her entertainment for the day.
When she had believed she was in for a fight, she was annoyed and now she was annoyed there was no fight, but such was Maria. "Tsk Tsk, my little tan one." Maria spoke softly, "You not only trespass but from look of it, you become the first lost vampire in the history of vampires. . . . Not a very promising day is it?" She smiled as if she was teasing. She had even sounded as if she was, however the ones who knew her, of her, would know it was no tease.

When the scent of an unfamiliar vampire filled the air, Tia felt a wave of hope that there would be someone willing to help her at such a desperate time. Tia stood up off her knees, and lightly brushed away any of the possible dirt on her dress, though it was clean. "I apologize if I have trespassed on your land. I did not realize it was the home of another vampire. Forgive me." She did not recognize this vampire, nor did her scent strike any familiarity in her.
"Since you must be familiar with the land, would you be so kind to enlighten me as to where I am?" She took a step closer to the female vampire, and extended her hand. "I am Tia Ibrahim Pasha Badawi."

This put Maria slightly off guard.
Has this one just apologized for trespassing? Maria didn't pause on the out side, but on the inside she was confused. "I might forgive you." Maria said with a smile, "I do not bother with worthless human last names. I am called Maria, and you are the state of Texas, in America." Maria watched her closely, "Where are you from?"

Tia was naive enough to believe that she had not earned the forgiveness of this particular vampire. She hoped to eventually. Her remark about trivial last names made Tia a little sad, for she had great pride in her last name, and who she was when she was a human . . . not to mention who she still felt she was, regardless of her vampire identity. She did not argue with her though, for she knew that right now, she was at a disadvantage and it would be greatly rude to argue with someone who's land she had imposed herself on.
"It is quite nice to meet you Maria. Do you have a coven here in Texas?" She wondered. Was it just her, or were there more vampires in the vicinity? "I am with the Egyptian coven, but I am afraid that I have lost contact with them while traveling on my own. That would be my first mistake." It would always be a mistake for her to travel on her own.

Maria wondered why the woman could not simply just follow her scent back to where sh came from. Granted, the close pines and trees here might confused the scent, and if she had moved in circles she could not know which path to follow but still! The first lost vampire?!
"I have a few covens," Maria replied with a chuckle. "I lead many." She had gone though many, many covens. She did lead many at one time, large covens, of about 20 sometimes more. Always change members, the way some little girls changed shoes. Unlike the little girls, Maria didn't wear a shoe twice. . . She might make a exception, for her favorite, should she find a way to make him come back, but she wouldn't wear it, until it wore out. She would kill it before it became tiresome.

"You lead a few? That sounds like quite an acheievement." Tia wondered how there could be multiple covens, led by one vampire. Then again, she was not used to the customs here so anything could be possible. "May I inquire as to how many covens you have here in Texas?" Was she planning to witness for the Cullens as well? If she led so many covens, perhaps she would be able to convince them to join them in their search for others to stand with them. Tia would not ask right away; she did not want to sound like she was pressuring the poor vampire in front of her.
