The time it took them to travel to locate an ideal spot was not long at all. Though Jasper had none in mind . . . the one they had found was everything that he would have expected and loved in the location they decided upon. There was no one else here . . . though it looked like a nice beach, and one that people often traveled to -- when they were able to climb the cliff -- . For them, no distance was too tiring. Their speed prevented that.
Her happiness at the sight before her made him smile in return. He was filled with her excitement and so, this place was perfect for him too. "It is better than I imagined it to be," he told her truthfully as he continued to smile and -- with her by his side -- began to go deeper into the beach so that they would not have to look at it from a distance.

Alice grinned as Jasper agreed with her thoughts. Then, they began to head down the cliff, and to the beach it'self. It was so perfect. So what she wanted. After the couple jumped from the small cliff to the silky white sand below, Alice began to slowly run towards the beach, her hand still in Jasper's. The sand was slowing her down, for she wasn't used to having her weight slide all over the place.
Strangely, she still managed to safely glide over the ground, almost as if the sand weren't there. But the lack in her speed was a clear give away. Slowing down as they neared the water, Alice turned to face her husband. The water lapped gently around her shoes, but she didn't bother to take them off yet.

Jasper allowed Alice to lead him -- as he often happily did -- to the water. He allowed the cool liquid gently splash against his feet. His height did not allow the water to reach a great height . . . it was not even ankle deep. Yet, he enjoyed the cool sensation. Or perhaps it was the atmosphere . . . and the fact that he was completely alone with Alice. She was often the sole person who existed in his world, but now . . . it was so much easier to simply look at her with no distractions, no people around to struggle to compose himself with . . . no one and nothing. Just him and his wife.
He gently pulled her into a hug, wrapping his arms around her as he closed his eyes in this completely perfect moment. He felt there was nothing that could ruin the perfection . . . not when everything else was still and quite . . . and peaceful. "I do not know how I ever existed before I met you," he said smiling at the thought of their first meeting. Though he said it with sincerity, it was not a line he meant typically . . . since perhaps it was something commonly said from a man to his loved one. He meant it literally.
"Thank you Alice. For everything." For taking care of him . . . for introducing him to these possibilities that he would never be able to understand or encounter without her. Though the comment of gratitude also referred to the current situation -- of comforting him after such a horrible incident -- he also was speaking generally. Because for the last 50 plus years, she really had been the only thing holding him together. . . his one strength that he could always rely on.
[Sorry for the cheesy post. I am still bitter losing my last one.]

[ not cheesy]
Alice was pulled into a hug by her husband, and after a few seconds, she found herself hugging him back, her arms wrapped tightly around his lower back. Nothing could spoil this moment for her. The short woman's head laid on Jasper's chest, turned to the right, and eyes closed. There was no much love in the atmosphere it was easy to get carried away at this point. But Alice stood, grasped in his hug, unmoving. Perfect.
Slowly, Alice turned in his grip, raising up on the tips of her toes. Even at this, the woman had to almost turn her face all the way up to the sky to reach his lips. Alice parted her mouth as her lips brushed against his. Not really a kiss, but it was a very romantic moment. Alice's sweet scented breath blew against Jasper's face slowly. All the while, her eyes remained closed.
Waiting for a reaction from Jasper, Alice remained still, her face not far from his. Their lips were mear millimeters away from each other when Alice said, "Me neither. And thank you, for staying with me that one afternoon by the diner."

Jasper made the intimate embrace less of a strain for her, by lowering his head. He never regarded the height difference as an inconvenience. He felt all the more protective over Alice because of their size difference. He returned the kiss . . . gently, and yet passionately. They were not the kind of couple to engage in public displays of affection, but it was different when they were alone. He felt more at ease . . . more relaxed . . . overall more comfortable when it was just Alice and no one else.
He did not prolong the kiss when she pulled away, but he did not create more of a distance between them. He kept his eyes closed and lightly rested his head on hers, softly kissing the top of her head. Not removing from that position, he proceeded to speak to her. "You have no reason to thank me. It was my honor and pleasure to remain with you from that moment . . . to now." And longer, since he had no intention of leaving. He was far too attached to her. Though, it was more than a mere bond that kept them together. She was a part of him . . . one that he would not be able to live without. Whatever humanity he had once lost in his past . . . he had regained when he met her.
He changed his position, looking at her once again . . . the distance between them still small. He placed his hand on her cheek and softly caressed it. He said nothing, but just looked at her with pure affection. Sometimes -- especially with Jasper since it was not particularly easy for him to vocalize his emotions -- expressions spoke more than words.

Alice had gotton exactly what she had wanted from her act of brushing his lips with hers. He had closed the distance, and the couple shared a gentle kiss. Then Jasper put his chin on her head, and kissed her again. Smiling at this, Alice nestled her face in his neck, then turned to the side, resting her left side of her head against him.
After a few minutes, Alice raised her head and said, "Forever." Then, she was pulled into a gazing position while he caressed her cheek. Alice's suddenly curious expression changed quickly to a gentle smile. Her wide eyes stared into Jasper's, love spilling out of her was her main emotion, at this point. "I love you." Alice whispered, still gazing at him. Slowly, she inched closer, and placed her lips gently on his again. He was her world. And her life. Their love was reserved, private, and Alice liked it that way. It made things all the more romantic. Reluctant to pull away from this kiss, Alice just stood there in Jasper's grasp. Her eyes now closed.

Forever.
That was the perfect word to describe how long he wished to with her . . . forever, and longer if it was at all possible. At her verbal expression of her affection, he needed no invitation to further demonstrate his love for her. He allowed his lips to touch hers, and deepened their kiss, tenderly and affectionately. He slid one arm around her waist, gently pulling her closer to him, and his other hand he kept occupied by allowing it to remain on her cheek. He felt the softness of her skin with both his lips and his hand.
Moments like these made him feel as if there was nothing wrong with the world. They permitted him to forget all of the horrible things he had done in the far past, and more recent past. He did not know what he had ever done in his life to deserve someone like this woman standing before him. He knew he would never entirely deserve her love . . . but he would spend an eternity trying.

Alice no longer needed to talk. In this case, actions spoke much louder than words. Immediately, she was pulled closer to him, and their kiss became a bit more intense. Alice made no attempt to resist. Why would she? Slowly, Alice loosened her grip on her husband's lower back, and pulled her hands through his grip on her. Then her fingertips pressed lightly against his jaw-line, and left them there.
Alice then began to slowly press against Jasper, in an attempt to knock him over. Her lips, though, were still locked firmly on his. Alice's leaning weight pressed her closer to Jasper, and she began to slowly trail her fingertips down his neck, still gentle and lovingly. It was moments like these that Alice felt the world stopped, just for them. To give them a moment longer to enjoy each other's company that they would have for eternity.
It was a happy and satisfying feeling, to not only be told, but shown how much Jasper loved her. For she felt the same, if not more towards him. Alice never wanted this kiss to end, it was so perfect. So beautiful. There were few other words to explain something so heavenly. While thinking all of this, Alice began drawing her arms over his shoulders, and interlocking them behind him. With this, she hugged herself closer in another attempt to knock him to the ground.

Had Jasper's heart still been beating, it would have accelerated to an impossible rate. Though he had spent several years with Alice . . . each moment of extreme intimacy was never the same as the last. It never became old . . . it never became familiar . . . he never -- and knew he would never -- grew tired of it. His world was solely focused on to her. There was nothing else in existence and right now, it seemed impossible to believe that there was more to the earth than simply the two of them.
He did not ignore her slightly less that subtle hint as to where they would position themselves next. It took him a few moments however to act on it . . . as he was distracted by their current physical state. He did not want to break away from the closeness he was experiencing with her. Jasper had enough control to not let it go further than what it was right now -- since they were after all in a public area -- but that did not mean he had to be so quick to break this seemingly perfect moment in time. After everything that had happened today, he needed to be reminded of this hope he had once been overwhelmed with . . . the hope he felt when he first met Alice. He needed this reminder of why he was still alive -- as alive as a vampire could be -- and why he struggled every day to maintain his diet. When he was in any state of despair, one moment with Alice, whether it be for seconds or hours, was all he needed.
He then began to act on her silent request. Though he could move quickly, his motions in this case were slow and careful as he began to bring his body to the ground, keeping one of his hands wrapped around Alice’s waist . . . gently bringing her down with him. All this while, he kept his main focus on their kiss, not allowing it to lessen in passion in any way. As his back lay on the soft sand, he changed the position of one of his hands. He moved the one rested on her cheek to the back of her head, gently pressing her closer to him for only a few more moments.

Alice was slowly brought to the ground, and the world seemed to be spinning around her as a small smile broke through her pursed lips, but they did not disconnect. Realizing she was ontop of him, Alice slid her lower-half to the side of Jasper, and squirmed out of her shoes. Curling her toes in, and bringing her heels up to her bottom, Alice felt her head being pressed further against him. She responded by making their long-lasting kiss a more passionate, and loving one.
Slowly twisting her left arm from behind his neck to reach his curly hair, Alice began to gently play with it. She moved her fore-finger in slow cirles, tangling her hand in the blonde-bush. As she did this, Alice snuggled her body that was not ontop of him in close to his chest. Her upper half was, of course at this point, turned ockweirdly to even reach his head, but she did not mind. She was enjoying this time was Jasper, not that she didn't enjoy any time with Jasper, but the special moments were the best ones.

Millions of people could have been flooding into the beach . . . and Jasper would not have noticed. The waves could have been lashing against them . . . and he would not have noticed. The term nothing else seemed to exist was literal to him right now. He followed Alice's direction and as she turned to the side . . . so did he. It may have been an awkward position, but Jasper did not notice either. There was nothing uncomfortable about their state right now . . . not their physical or mental state.
Jasper reluctantly began to bring the kiss to an end. The last moments were -- if possible -- the most passionate, and it filled with an urgency as if he was planning to end it when he did. He slowly parted his lips from her, but raised them to softly touch her forehead. He then repositioned himself so that his cheek was touching the side of her head as he wrapped his arms around her in a hug . . . or somewhat of a hug since the position they were in may have caused this action to not consitute as one.
"I love you too," he said in a low voice, hardly above a whisper.

Alice almost whined when Jasper broke their kiss, and only then did she notice he had turned himself. Alice smiled brightly as he pulled her into a ockweird hug. Her hand fell from his hair to behind his neck. She longed to recontinue their kissing, but she was not going to get greedy with him. So, she merely laid their, in his arms, in her heaven.
Alice was sad when she glanced up at the moon, and saw that it had moved downward since the last time she had seen it. Had it really been all night? It frightened her to think the sun would come up soon on this perfect moment. But she concealed all these emotions well, in such a short time. Alice simply smiled, and squeezed Jasper tighter, wishing the world would freeze, giving them all the time in the world.

Jasper continued to hold her . . . feeling as if he could do this for all their immortal life. He closed his eyes as the serenity of this moment overwhelmed him, but in no way was it negative. He enjoyed it . . . with no humans around, no distractions, no reasons for him to have to struggle . . . he was in a state of complete relaxation. He did not even remember the reason that they had to get away from the house for a little while. His mind was preoccupied from remembering that he had tried to attack Bella.
It was really a shame that the beach was not always like this. Forks was small, but it was hard to find one constant spot which could guarantee seclusion. Often they would go deep in the woods to hunt so that no one else would see them . . . but there was no place filled with such beauty that they could simply sit and be free of all worry. This was precisely why it was nice to get away every once in a while.
He kept his eyes closed as he broke the silence of the moment. "Where would you like to go after this place is robbed of its tranquility?" Once the day commenced, people may start rushing in and the purpose of coming here would certainly be defeated. Jasper knew Alice was far more social than he was . . . so he would not try to deprive her of that. But right now, he could feel she needed a quiet place almost as much as he did . . . or at least a change of atmosphere.

Alice silently, and slowly sat up, still smiling. As the sun began to rise, the lovely atmosphere was diminishing. What a shame. And Jasper began to voice her thoughts, like he always did. "Hmm.." Was all she could say. She had no desire to leave, but the fact that the beach could at anytime contain visitors was nagging at her mind.
"Would you like to go back home?" A sudden longing for home came about at her words. They had been gone for quiet a few hours, and even though they had left a note of their sudden leaving, she still felt like they belonged at home right now. The reason they left, .. what was it? Was it because they needed to hunt? Perhaps. It didn't matter. Savoring the last remaining moments of alone time, Alice laid back down to nestle her head in his neck. Closing her eyes, she wished they could fall asleep like this.

The word 'home' reminded Jasper of why they had come here. Would Bella still be there? Or would she had left by now? She probably would have left . . . she was human after all and she, unlike them, required sleep. Still, Jasper was ashamed to face his family after what had happened. Would Edward forgive him? He knew others would be supportive and reassure him that it was not his fault . . . but it still pained him to have to hear that reassurance. He should not have to.
"We can go home." Alice was obviously a lot more comfortable with their family than he was . . . he did not want to deprive her of that on his account. This time that they had spent together was exactly what he needed, and although he wished he could stay here forever with solely his wife . . . he knew that all good things must come to an end. "Whenever you wish." He would leave that option up to her. He was not sure he would ever be ready, and so preferred her to lead where he could follow . . . this was the system that they so often followed and one that he did not care to change.
