OOC: This takes place in the first three months that Bella is a vamp. i.e. before Irina's visit.
Edward ran into the forest hearing his wife close behind him. Knowing how well she was adapting to this new life of hers he would not be surprised if he suddenly saw her overtaking him. They were racing through the forest heading towards the clearing. It was time for another lesson for wife in the art of Vampirism. He could not deny that she was making the whole teaching thing incredibly easy but he wanted to make sure the basics were covered as soon as possible. Todays lesson blending in and avoiding daylight.

Bella followed Edward with ease, it wasn't difficult to keep up with him. Her new vampire body was still new to her she was still amazed by the simple things she could do. Her sight so much better than her humans weak eyes. She was faster and much stronger, even stronger than Emmett. She loved this new life, it's what she's wanted for so long. And now she finally had it. She was right behind Edward they were having another lesson today, the lessons were usually easy for her.

Edward burst into the meadow the sun automatically turning his skin to diamond sparkle. He stopped abruptly and lifted his head towards the sun languishing in the feel of the warm rays. It was unusual for the sun to shine at this time of year and he planned to make full use of it. He turned around ready for Bella to enter the meadow as well longing to see her once again sparkling in the sunlight. He had always found Bella attractive. Her vampire form however was beyond compare. He waited for his vision to appear.

Bella walked into the meadow the sun was shining. Once again she was overwhelmed by how beautiful Edward looked even more so in the sun. His skin sparkled as the sun's rays hit him. Bella tore her eyes away and looked at her own skin sparkle in the light. She moved her hand watching the sun make it sparkle it was really beautiful.
She looked back at Edward with a smile. She ran over to him so she was by her side. She was excited for this lesson, just as she was for every lesson he gave her.

And then his Angel was there, sparkling as if in a heavenly glow. He took another step closer all thoughts of training momentarily leaving his head. He touched her cheek as he looked into her red eyes the strange electric current flowing from the points where skin touched skin. Her scent had changed, no longer making his throat burn with hunger but still as enticing as ever. He breathed deeply his cheek close to hers. They so rarely got time alone with each other during the daylight hours. He closed his eyes his lips moving lower, Why were they out here again.

Bella was dazzled once again by Edward. No matter how many times she looked at, or how many times he touched her it would never change. She could feel the electric current pulsing between them. She could forget all about the reason they were here with him so close, she could care less about the lesson. They were actually alone and didn't have to worry about the others. She stayed in her spot looking into his beautiful eyes smiling brightly at him. She loved him more than she could even say. Words couldn't describe what she felt.

After a while of 'distraction' Edward remembered why they had come out in the first place. He lifted himself off Bella and leaned up on one arm. His hand supporing his head while his other hand played with the marble of her arm.
"You really are bad distracting me like that." He complained half heartedly. Now that Bella was a vampire he tried to remember why he had put up such a fight to keep her human. He leant in for another kiss and then was up on his feet again. "Now lesson avoiding sunlight whilst blending in. You ready for this?"

"You're just as bad," Bella said with a smile. His velvet voice more wonderful than she was human, she didn't think that could have been possible, but it was. Everything was enhanced so she clearly see his perfection.
"Avoiding sunlight," Bella repeated refocusing on the reason they were out here in the first place. "Sounds easy, let's get started!" Bella said ready for her lesson. She would have to really focus on it and not concentrate to long on Edward while he taught her like she always did. He seemed to distract her so easily during these lessons, and apparently she had the same affect on him.

"You would think it were easy, I mean with how quick we can move." Edward moved over to the side of the meadow as he spoke. To a human it would have been a blur, however a vampire could easily see his movements. "Avoiding sunlight is easy. However to do it while you are trying to act like a mortal human."
He moved again this time in slow motion matching a human speed. As he moved he sparkled each time the sun hit him drawing attention to himself. "It's not so easy to hide. Blending in with the human world is one of the most difficult and most important aspects that we have to learn. Surely you've felt how weird it feels to not move as you would naturally?"

"You make it look easy," Bella replied. He had experience with blending in it was difficult for her not to move quickly, well quick for a human. It was hard not to move natural he was right, this was going to be a tough lesson. "Maybe this isn't going to be so easy," Bell commented.
Bella walked over to where Edward was trying to be slow, but knew she was being way to fast to be around humans. Bella stopped again, and walked very slowly it was so slow to her. "Do humans, did I walk this slow?" Bella questioned as she came closer to Edward. She didn't like walking this slow she crossed her arms. "Am I going to slow?" she asked a bit hopeful she was she felt like a turtle going at this speed.

Edward chuckled and put his arms around her giving her a quick peck on the tip of her nose. "Actually love you still are going a little quick. Guess you'll just be one of those speedy humans for a while."
He gave her a wink and then stepped back. He walked over to a back pack he had brought along with him and left at the edge of a clearing. He picked it up and walked back to Bella. "Most of the time we can avoid being around humans when the sun is out, however this is not always the case. So of course we have accessories."
He glanced at her and then smiled answering an unasked question even though he couldn't hear her thoughts. "Yes Alice went shopping again." He pulled out a light weight cotton long-sleeved top and a scrunchable wide brimmed hat. "Luckily humans have become concerned about Skin Cancer in recent years so it makes life for us easier."

Every time Edward touched Bella she forgot what she was doing at the moment. She always felt the electric current that followed through when he touched even in the most casual way. She was 'dazzled' once again, but quickly snapped out it replying to her still being to fast. "Quick?" Bella questioned she had felt like she was going incredibly slow, how much slower would she have to go. Humans were way to slow, she didn't realize how slow they really were.
"Alice always goes shopping," Bella said unsurprised. Alice was always going out shopping if not for herself than for her family she was always buying new clothes and accessories. Bella smiled she remembered when they gave her their cottage although at the moment she didn't even look at the cloths she was still amazed at how much she manged to fit in there. It was huge, and she hadn't worn much of it that would last for years and years and Alice was still buying cloths for her.

Edward chuckled at Bella's comments as he still held the clothes out to her. He raised one eyebrow and waggled his hands slightly making the clothes moves. "So you going to try these on Bella, or am I going to remain a clothes horse for you?"
His darling wife was so easily distracted. Course had he said that when she was human her cheeks would have become rosy. Somethings he would miss.

Bella laughed, "Sorry I got distracted." But Edward had probably already figured that out. She needed to learn to multi-task, but it was hard especially in her knew body everything was so new, so amazing it was hard to focus on one thing at a time sometimes.
Bella quickly grabbed the shirt and that hat she quickly put them on. "How do I look?" Bella asked looking at her husband. She liked moving fast, well it wasn't really fast to her it was natural. She would have to get use to moving as slow as human, she didn't realize how hard it was until she actually tried.

Edward looked at his wife admiring how the loose cotton top seemed to be fitted to her frame. He wondered how Alice always managed that with clothes. It must have been the fashion design course she took two decades ago. "Darling Bella, you always look beautiful."
He did really well to remain focused this time otherwise the clothes she had just put on would soon have come off again. He took a step away from her just in case. "Now this time when you move try to make it so the shade from the clothing covers most of the skin."

Bella would have blushed at that statement if she was human, it was strange. Bella groaned at the next lesson, maybe this wouldn't be harder than her last one.
Bella tugged at her sleeves making sure they covered as much as the could. She adjusted the hat so it would be the most shaded. Bella walked once again very slowly like a human, she had to practice. He tried to keep her hands within the shadow that was about the only thing she had to worry about. She kept walking very slowly she glanced at Edward wondering if she was going slow enough for a human and if she was doing well in this lesson at least.

Bella was an interesting creature. As a human she could barely walk across a flat surface without tripping over herself. As a vampire however she was the epitome of grace, even putting Alice to shame in his eyes. She took to things quickly, listening and absorbing comments and suggestions with ease. So Edward was not surprised that she took to hiding her skin from the sun so well. He did find it amusing that if anything were to draw attention to her for being anything other than human it would be her new speed and grace. She did however slow down enough this time, though she did appear slightly awkward doing it. He grinned maybe this could work straight away.
"Do you realise how wrong all this is Bella. You are not meant to find all this so easy. Not yet at least."

Bella looked at Edward when he said how wrong all of this was. She wasn't suppose to be getting things so easily. But she was and there was really nothing she could do to change. It was as if she was made for this life, the life of a vampire to be with Edward forever, was much more than she had ever thought to deserve.
She walked back to Edward at her normal pace, the pace that was natural much to fast for a human. "Perhaps I was made for this life," Bella responded saying her thoughts. "I thought it would be so different. I would want nothing but to satisfy my thirst. But I want other things, things I didn't think I would want for many years. Like you, I want you more than I could have ever wanted you as human. My family as well, I was expecting everything to be so different.
