Location: A small island (about one square mile) in Lake Ozette.
Today was going to be a bad day. The pack had a new member, they had only been a phasing a week and a half. Today was their first day human since he phased for the first time. He had a high temper and could go for round two at any moment.
The worse part of it, Mikka and Dyami were on the island with him. Dyami knew this was going to be a bad idea, but he had promised her a romantic lunch of just two, and when he got here, he had picked up the scent. He had not known the boy would pick this island to run lose on. (When they got new pack members, the smaller islands were almost no one lived on where the best places to run lose). "Mikka, we should pick a different island." They had just gotten out of the boat, and he was carrying the food, as he looked around. "It might be to wet to find a place to sit." He used that as his reasoning.

Things with Dyami were going oddly well. She found herself greatly enjoying the time she spent with him...way more than she had expected to. Things were no longer awkward between them; they had gotten past all that, and now she felt in a comfortable state with him. She had worn something a little more simple today; a short, spaghetti strap dress with a simple silver necklace, and hoop earrings. [Mikka's Dress] One of the things that she added to her dress (that she would not ordinarily) was a white pashmina which she had draped over her to cover her bare shoulders and arms. She wore this to put Dyami's mind at ease, since she knew from the days he met him that he didn't like her wearing clothes that were too 'revealing'. He was way too old fashioned in her mind, but.....she planned to update him, and welcome him to the modern way of life.
She was walking alongside him, trying to be as poised as she could since she was wearing her infamous heels, even in the less than practical outing. "Why do you want to leave? This place is beautiful! Besides, we're already here...the other islands are going to be just as wet. I'm sure we'll be able to find a dry place to sit. Its so nice here...look at the view." She took a moment to appreciate it before she continued walking, trying to find the perfect spot they could sit at so they could enjoy a nice romantic lunch...just the two of them (or so she thought).

Dyami looked down at her for a half moment before turning back to scan the woods not far from the beach. That kid better hear people and get the hell off the island. That was the rules! But the kid was new. How much did Dyami trust him to obey? Still, there was a spot here, very hidden from the world type spot. It held a gazebo, that not many knew of anymore. Vines almost covered it, making it perfect for two people to be romantic. Still. . . . was it worth it. "Just stay close then." He said reaching back for her hand and not taking his eyes off the words. He wasn't going to risk her life to be romantic. If he could still hear the kid on the island, in ten mins, he would make some excuse up. Say he had a bad feeling or something wasn't right, and drag her off the island.

She continued to smile. She loved how protective he was...it made her feel safe and secure. She held her grip on his hand, not thinking much of the reason as to why he didn't want to go to this island. Mikka did not think into things that much; probably the obvious of Dyami. He was very analytical, or just plan intelligent was more like it. Another reason she liked him; he was smart, and not one of those no future morons who bummed around.
"So where are we going? Is there a place in the woods where we can sit? Wait, have you been here before?" She tended to ask a lot of questions, more than her mind could process at once...but she couldn't help it. She knew that Dyami would give her answers, even though he was a generally quiet individual; she talked enough to make up for the both of them.

She asked allot of questions, and Dyami tended to answer everyone now days, but in a more simple way. "Middle of the island." Next question, "A bench and table." Next question, "Yes." They never sounded harsh, more like he was openly answering them. He held her hand as they walked, it was only a quarter of a mile, but when with her talking he could hear the boy walking around. Not closer, but not leaving yet. Why was he not leaving? Dyami almost growled. Breaking the rules would get humans killed or expose them wolves. The boy better leave, or Dyami was going to have a heart to heart with him, real quick. "It's up ahead." He said after they had walked a ways.
The gazebo was almost hidden, as the vines grew so thick around the poles and fell in curtains around the tops. It made anyone inside, almost invisible as well. He wished he had put her back in the boat. After seeing this place, Mikka would want to stay. He knew her well enough to know that. It was romantic.

Mikka thought Dyami's answers were hilarious...at least he answered the question though. She liked to know that she was being listened to. Some guys would just give generic responses to pretend like they were listening, when really, they would zone out and tune everything out. Not Dyami though. He listened to her and he made her feel like she was the only woman in the world. Things like this, was what made Mikka like him so much.
"Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed when she saw the gazebo. "Its beautiful And you wanted to leave this island, when something like this was here all along?!" How could he have wanted to go somewhere else. "This is perfect! I bet none of the other islands have something like this." She wanted to run up inside of it, but kept pace with Dyami. It would be more romantic if they both walked in it together.

Dyami smiled for a half second as she saw it, glad she liked it but the sounds of the boy walking froze. He had heard her explanation too. Not good. Maybe he would leave now! "I had hoped you would like it." He said as they got closer. When they got their he looked inside real quick to make sure no animals to bugs were there, and then moved back, "Ladies first." He held out his hand to 'help' her up the one step. "The other hand held the basket of food. Enough for three, but he had ate before coming here, so he wasn't overly hungry. He would just eat enough to make him look like a normal hungry guy vs a freak.

She took his hand happily, and went up the stairs, still holding on to his hand when she was at the top, but now, it was no longer for support. It was just because she wanted to. She walked around the gazebo, taking in the beauty of it. "How romantic!" She exclaimed. She absolutely loved it. "We should come here more often Dyami! Its such a perfect little place. Why did you want to leave?!" Though she repeated the question, it was more of a rhetorical one. She didn't really expect him to answer. She was just excited that they had stayed so that they could sit here and enjoy the scenery that this place offered.

Yes, why ever would he want to leave. Dyami could hear the steps of the boy in the woods, pace. Great, the anger was building. Dyami wondered what the boy was thinking, why was making him angry, so he would know what to say or do to calm him down. It would not do for the boy to start coming this way. Dyami knew he should reply to whatever she had asked, but was also trying to tell if the steps were coming closer or getting further, which meant he was paying more attention tot he woods then to her.

Mikka may have had no idea what Dyami was thinking, but she knew when she was not the center of attention. She had strived to be that all her life, and so knew when someone's focus was distracted from her. She looked at up, well up at him, still gripping his hand. "Hey, are you okay? You seem distracted." What she really meant was that he should be paying attention to her since they were on a romantic date on a beautiful island! But she would get to that if he didn't acknowledge her....she was not afraid to speak her mind, even if she was overreacting to something.

Dyami looked back her, his brows bent in slight stress, he opened his mouth to applogize to her but froze, and his head whipped back around to stare into the woods. He heard a crash, a faint thud. The kid had phased and the foots steps were coming this way. Dyami was willing to bet the kid was at the bitter phase where they just wanted to be alone, and thought that Dyami was here to boss him around.
Dyami was gave a faint groan like growl and then spun around to were Mikki was, dropping everything he had carried this way and picked her up quickly before starting to carry her away. He could well imagen she wouldn't like this. With in a few seconds however, Dyami knew it was pointless. He watched as the wolf walked slowly thought the trees closer to them, stalling about a dozen feet a away. Putting her on her feet, Dyami quickly pushed her behind him. "Mikki." He spoke in a commanding tone, "Run."

Everything had happened fast enough for Mikka to not be able to put a stop to it. "What?! Where?! Who?! Whats going on!" She demanded, while he was carrying her. Why did he look so worried?! She had never seen like this before. Usually he was all calm, cool and collected...but now...well, he was not acting like the Dyami she had been dating. "Dyami!" She cried out again. "Whats going on?!" He wasn't answering, he was distracted and Mikka was the kind of girl who preferred to be the distraction.
And that's when she saw it...well, a glimpse of it. She wished Dyami hadn't put her back down on her two feet. Her entire body froze from fear, and her state of trepidation made it impossible for her to follow Dyami's orders. Her eyes widened, her whole body becoming stiff and moving, felt like an impossibility. She couldn't even talk...well, she could barley talk. Was it a bear? Must be. But it didn't walk like a bear. Like hell if Mikka knew what a bear walked like! What else could it be?! It was a beast whatever it was, and Mikka did not want to be running around the woods, away from Dyami, so she didn't move. She stayed close to him, and managed to move a little. She inched closer to Dyami grabbed on to his arm. "Wh-Wh-What is it? It is a bear? It looks...big...what is it Dyami?!" He would protect her. He would save her. She wasn't going to give him a choice.

Dyami wished Mikka would just run. He could turn into a wolf and talk to the boy ten time easier then with her clinging to him. "Mikka. Run to the boat." He said firmly again trying to make her understand what he needed for her to do. When the wolf came out of the trees and closer Dyami wondered why. Why here, why now, what was he thinking. Dyami knew there was only one way to find out.
Shooting a irritated glace at the sky, as if to say 'Why now?' he turned to grab Mikka and pull her back to the hidden gazebo. Not hidden from the wolves but while she was in maybe the vines and things would hide the events about to happen. "Hide, Mikka." He then kicked off his shoes and moved closer to the wolf, and out of her site before sending a glare that the young boy who better have a good reason for this and taking off his pants, and shirt. He would just ruin his boxers. With that thought, Dyami phased in to a horse sized white wolf. He fell forward, phasing in mid fall to land on his front paws.

She wasn't leaving! "I'm not leaving!" She exclaimed, in a very loud, very frightened voice. She didn't want to be by herself at all right now....and the fact that Dyami left her in the gazebo, and ran after the creature, scared her nearly to death. "Dyami!" She called after him in a harsh whisper. She stayed crouched in the gazebo, hiding herself, losing sight of him. Great! Perfect! This was just wonderful. She looked into the distance, thinking about the boat, but when she heard noses, her head shot back into the direction of where Dyami had ran. "No way in hell am I staying here!" She said aloud to no one in particular.
She went after Dyami. She started to run a little, but it slowly declined into a very tip toed walk. "Dyami?" She called out, once again in a harsh whisper so that she wouldn't attract the attention of whatever was lurking about in the woods. "Dyami!" She said, this time a little louder, a little more frightened. She heard something....and stupidly enough, she followed that noise. It was then that she saw it...or them. THEM! There were two of them! They were...huge. Massive! MONSTERS! Mikka's eyes widened in pure fear as she saw them, staring at one another. She was hidden behind a tree and a few bushes, as she was oblivious to the fact that their senses were very heightened and they could smell her anyway. Her shock took over though. They were too big....it was abnormal! Now she had never seen a real life wolf before, but she was pretty sure they should only be like a quarter of the size of these two. In the short distance...were Dyami's clothes.
"OH MY GOD!" She hadn't meant to scream out those words...they just came out, in her state of fear and shock and.....more fear. They had eaten Dyami! Now, she was surely going to die! She stared at them, still wide eyed. Every instinct in her body was saying RUN! But all she could do was stay frozen. It wasn't until a few moments after her outburst that she finally had some control over her muscles. "DYAMI!!!" She cried out, as she turned around and ran as fast as her two feet with heels would allow her. She assumed he was dead, and yet, there was still that faint hope that he would miraculously come to rescue her...but he would be naked....oh dear lord, he was dead!
As Mikka ran, she could feel small tears forming in her eyes. Dyami was gone....and she was all alone....and about to be eaten by the same monsters who had eaten her beloved Dyami! She ran to the gazebo, picking up a stick on the way. It wasn't an overly large stick, and it wasn't too heavy (since it was manageable for her to carry), but it was the only thing she could think of. She ran to the middle of the gazebo, holding out the stick in front of her, as if that was the weapon that was going to save her. She sniffed, as more tears made their way down her cheeks. All she could do now was wait....wait for her death.

Now she ran.
Dyami stood there still watching her, trying not to use his alpha control unless he was forced to. He never liked to take free will from living beings. In his moment of distractions the younger wolf moved to stop her from running. Dyami knew the wolf was trying to be helpful, but it was getting old. Now that he could see inside his pack brother's mind he knew it wasn't anger but fear and tiredness of being alone. When Mikka ran, Dyami's first thoughts had been of fear of losing her and the younger wolf was now cutting her off so she could not run far.
Dyami moved swiftly putting him self between Mikka and the young wolf and ordering him to go to the shop and try to calm down enough to be human and enjoy a meal and leave him alone on this island. The order was not an alpha command but still one meant to be followed as well. They stood there, with Dyami in the middle for a few moments before the younger wolf lowered his head and turned to run away.
Dyami waited until the foots steps slowed away before slowly turning to look at Mikka. Trying not to look scary.

Mikka had NO idea what was going on! She was far too scared to conclude that one of the wolves was trying to protect her. She still had tears running down her cheeks. "S-Stay away from me!" As if they could understand her. She watched one of them run off, and looked fearfully back at the one who was staring at her. She was terrified. He wasn't attacking her...he was probably waiting. She was trapped! She couldn't outrun this freakin' huge wolf! She wouldn't get far at all. She took a few steps back. "G-Go away!" She snapped, trying to sound scary and threatening but her voice was shaky and cracked...it was a pitiful voice. It was far from threatening. "Oh god...I'm going to die," she said to herself, since there was of course no way the wolf could understand.
She still had hope that Dyami was alive...or perhaps it was denial that anything had happened to him. "Dyami!" She said, trying to call him again. What else could she do? She was trapped with this HUGE horse sized wolf and all she had to defend herself was this pathetic stick that the wolf would be able to snap in a second no doubt. Her time was limited. "DYAMI!" She screamed once again. Hoping and praying that it would make a difference.

Dyami watched her a moment, knowing the damaged was already done. Dyami forced on the calm human parts of him, and slowly the wolf turned back into the man. Dyami was on his knees, but he quickly stood--either ignoring his nude self, or not realizing it--and moved closer to Mikka. He was not going to play the hesitant modern day man, where he would stand away from her and beg her to understand. Dyami was old school alpha. He was also angry with her actions.
Not bothering with human speed-let her see it all now-he took her by the shoulders and gave her a soft but firmly gentle shake. "The next time there is danger around you Mikka, you are to ditch me and run for your life! Standing around yelling for me could have only gotten you killed!" He paused, his voice softer "Or were you trying to kill me as well?"

Mikka watched in horror as the wolf in front of her suddenly transformed into Dyami. Her eyes were wide and her expression was full of shock. How.....who.....there were too many questions for even someone who talked as much as Mikka did to ask right away. She needed a moment. They say seeing is believing but in this case....Mikka wasn't sure she could believe what she just saw. It was too weird...too creepy. How could her own boyfriend be some wolf?!? What was going on in the world!
Then he came up to her and put his hands on her shoulders....she was in too much shock to realize that he was naked. She stared at his face, and when he asked her a question, it finally pulled her out of her shock and she knew that she was going to start freaking out. "Get away from me!" She shrieked, taking several steps away from him. "What are you?! How did you do that?! Are you even human?!" Oh my goodness... she had been dating a furry white wolf. "You.....how....." And that was when she realized that he was naked. Her voice had been asking questions a mile a second, but now, she quickly spun around, putting her back towards him. "Go put on some clothes!" She demanded. She was really trying to avoid eye contact with him because she felt tears welling up in her eyes. "I want to leave this place!" And she needed him to tell her or lead her out of here because she had no idea where to go....and there was still another wolf wandering around. Wait...wolf...or man?! "Hurry up!" She cried, desperate to get out of here and go home.

She had her father's flair for the dramatics. "Mikka, calm down, I can't take you back until you calm down." There were to many places for her to run to on the main land. On the island, it was just her and him. "When your calm I will answer every single question you have." He knew this was a shock to her, and it could not be helped, but he would handle this calmly and with out all the screaming if he could get away with it. He watched her, not going to hunt down his clothing.
"Yes, I am human. Just as human as the other warriors, I call brothers. We are born, we live and we die, humanly." He explained, "The men of our tribes have been doing it for decades, Mikka. We do so to protect the people in them. We guard them with out lives, as I would have died for you." He also wasn't going to hold anything back from her again. Nothing would shock her later into leaving him. "I am as human as your father, for he was like me in his prime. The genes, that allow us the honor passed from his grandfathers to him." He paused a moment. "To you, Mikka, and though you, to your sons one day." Their shared sons.

"Calm down?! CALM DOWN?! Don't tell me to calm down! I'm the opposite of calm right now! I just saw my boyfriend morph into a human from a wolf!" She wasn't going to be calming down any time soon, and she was going to be all the more panicked if she didn't get the answers she demanded. The phrase 'I would die for you' would have ordinarily made Mikka feel flattered and something she considered incredibly sweet, right now, she was just too shocked and frantic to even comment in that. There were too many other things he was saying that was making her head spin.
Human....protecting....father....wait, FATHER?! Grandfather?.......SONS?!?!
These words only put her in more of a frenzy. Since when was she having children?! Since when was her father... wait, no.......not her own father.......was he saying she was from a family of wolves? What about her mother?! They wouldn't keep something like this from her...would they?! Mikka was not prepared to calm down in any way. "I don't hear you going to get your clothes!!" She cried, only because she was too overwhelmed to phrase her reaction to his other words in coherent sentences. But now, the tears that had slowly formed in her eyes were making their way well down her cheeks. "Go get your clothes!" She demanded once again, this time her voice was more of a high pitched squeak since she was crying, thus forcing her voice to shake.
{I don't think she's going to take this as well as Rachael did }
