Jasper had no idea what he was doing here. He should not have come, as he knew full well that vampires were not welcome in this reservation. They were not welcome in any reservation, and Jasper was completely content with that ostracizing. He should not have let Leah talk him into this. He could make her feel fearful of the place and that would force her to want to leave . . . but Jasper did not use his powers so recklessly. He would not manipulate emotions unless it benefited the other person, not him.
"Leah, we should really be on our way," he told her, standing at the edge of the cave. The scenery was in fact beautiful. From the cave's view there was a waterfall, and very lush green trees. How did they end up here though? They had just kept walking and walking, and now, they were residing in another area where legends of vampires being their enemy were strong, and their aversion to them great.

Leah walked around the small cave with her noise in the air. Being she was human, it made her look odd. She was doing it, the way animals stick their noises into the wind to get a better scent. "I didn't know Makah had wolves!" Leah said her voice a mix if excitement, shock and humor. She was trying to smell out how many wolves their might be. She had at lest three for sure. Maybe another one. "I think," In hale, "That they meet here," In hale more, "and they haven't done it for a day or two." She paused her walking, her noise in the air as she caught a scent, then after a moment she started walking around the cave again. "Or the tide might wash the scent out. . . .fade it."

"I could smell them from the moment we trespassed on their land, now can we please leave before they welcome us in a less than hospitable way." Jasper did not care how long ago they met here, or how their scent was washed away. Either way, he was not comfortable on their land. He wanted to go back to Forks, where he knew he would not get attacked by a random wolf, and would therefore, nor have to engage in a fight.
He stood at the edge of the cave, looking at the distance -- that was not too great for a vampire to overcome -- between the water and land. "How much longer do you plan on staying here?" He asked her, not interested in seeing her show off her tracking skills . . . if that was what in fact she was doing.

Leah was about to comment on how long she planned to stay, when the wind picked up. Huh-Oh. It carried a scent with it. It had been blowing the other way, which meant it had carried 'Human girl' and 'vampire' closer to the town. Now that it swirled around, it carried the town's scents to them. . . . and of the wolf coming their way. "I don't think a welcome, in hospitable or not, is on their mind." Pause. "You might want to run."
"La Push is closer! You need to get to the border line, and cross it. The scent of the other wolves might make him pause!" Leah said as she bolted and ran that way.

"How many wolves are in the pack here?" Jasper was getting ready to leave. He did not want to stay here a moment longer, nor was he going to run like a coward. Of course, he was not student enough to engage in a physical battle with the approaching pack of wolves. "How long do you plan on staying?" What was she even doing? Did she want to meet and greet with the other pack? Should she not leave as quickly as him? "They may not allow me to cross La Push." It depended on who was patrolling. Some of the wolves would grant him passage; others would have far too much fun with the situation of two wolves on either side of a vampire.

"I dunno, I'm not psychic!"
"Your the one stalling!"
"That's because, last time they let you, you ran away from the army about to come kill us all." Leah snapped more from the stress of 'get Jasper away from vampire getting wolves' then being annoyed with him. She followed closely as they headed for the border, since they were finally running now. From then scents she was picking up, "I think only one is behind us, but that don't mean the others aren't following!" They were not far from the La Push border. Who was working the patrol today? She hoped someone young and afraid of her.
