[[So sorry for the delay! I've been a bit busy. I used some of Eclipse with the headlines I think the Volturi may pick up vampires that way too.]]
"The larger the city the more likely they are fighting over it," Aro explained. "They can remain unnoticed in larger cities, but draw enough attention to make us have to step in. When to many humans begin to disappear or are killed it can cause a problem and suspicious among the humans. Something we cannot allow for long." Aro would not allow the humans to find out about them. It was the first thing Aro did when he took control of his power. Humans were not allowed to know they exist. They could never know. Any who did were to be destroyed there was no other option unless they were to be changed. A rare option that was. Most were destroyed when they were no longer useful.
"It is easy to pick up where the vampires are. Headlines in the human world can help. Unexplained deaths or disappearance help us track down where they have been hunting. But they have been moving from city to city. They are aware they we will stop them if to much attention is drawn to the South." Aro explained. It would be difficult to track down the vampires when they moved from city to city. If they could figure out which city they were fighting over that would be the most help. Perhaps name the cities that had been attacked and figure out if it was close to a large city. It would take time, but once found they would be destroyed. No questions asked, no second chances.

Deline nodded some as he spoke. That would make sense. She did not know what the homicide or MIA rates were in cities at the moment, but they had spiked some most likely. She guessed that it would most likely be Austin, San Antonio, Houston or Dallas that they were fighting over. She knew that Houston had been the biggest, then San Antonio, then Dallas, and then probably Austin. That would make them most likely. Though, she did not know for sure. So pursued her lips for a moment. The South was not a particularly safe place, it never had been.
"I see. The four most likely cities four be Houston, San Antonia, Dallas, and Austin. Dallas is the most northern, and when I lived there it was not rare for people to go missing or die for no reason, especially in South Dallas." Deline explained. She had never really gotten into the Crime and Investigation thing to much, but had learned enough with newspaper headlines. She wondered what would happen if humans found out. They couldn't possibly kill every human in the world, and change them? If they did that, there would be no blood sources left for them.

"Most likely there was vampires in that area. Perhaps we should visit," Aro said the last part to his guard as he turned toward them completely. "Dear ones it seems we have several locations to visit." Aro wanted to quickly find these vampires and have them destroyed. They could not allow them to exist for much longer they were drawing to much attention from the human world. Something Aro would never allow. None of the humans knew about them at least none that Aro was aware of. If there was he would have them destroyed. He wouldn't even reconsider changing them they would be a weakness. Their existence must be kept a secret.
Aro turned toward Deline. "You know this area better than us," Aro liked to include his guard they were important and would do anything he requested. Destroying vampires just be one of those he would soon request. "Perhaps it would be useful to have you with us you could be of help," Aro was simply musing. No one dared to ever turn down something he asked. If he wanted someones help they usually came without any questions. Aro wasn't asking just yet simply thinking it over. It may be easier if he had Deline, but he did have his guard who could would do exactly what he said without fear of them saying 'no.'
Aro kept his eyes on Deline as he thought this over. Going over the pros and cons of this situation. Thinking everything through before he acted. As he always did. Deline most likely would have a response to his suggestion. If she was negative that would not be good something no one ever was with Aro. He had far to much power to irritate to much. To do so could so easily be a death sentence.

Deline could not figure that in her head. Would there have been vampires in the area, lurking amongst humans? That did not seem possible, as Dallas was an extremely sunny place. Heck, the whole state of Texas was. She knew Florida was the sunshine state and all, but Texas was probably one of the hottest places in the United States. Probably second or third to Death Valley, these days. She was never sure whether to believe in the whole 'global warming' concept with Al Gore, since she didn't know if it was heating up in the North or not.
Focusing back on Aro, Deline gave a small shrug to his words. She did know the area probably better than the rest of his guard did, having rarely left it in her human and vampire life. It would always be her home, and vampirism was not going to change that. "It may, or it may not. I would blend better, even at night, with the heat to humans. I've seen humans in worse conditions and they are not approached. Texas is not friendly in big cities." She was aware that was true. Only small town people were kind.

"It doesn't matter if the cities are friendly or not. Humans mean nothing they are weak and are only here to sustain us. They have no other reason other than being to suspicious of us. Something we cannot and will not allow." Aro knew vampires were far grander than humans could ever possibly imagine. They were completely unaware of them and that's how it would remain. Even when Aro was first changed he knew he was better than any human ever could be. And he had always thought his opinion on humans would never change.
The guard had tracked down countless vampires he doubted that Deline could do any better than them. After all that why he chose them. For their talents and their ability to help him find those that broke the rules. It was only a matter of narrowing their search. Trying to find the exact location of these newborns. He had given the South more than enough warnings. Maybe he should just destroy all vampires in the South. But that would be unjustified to the ones that had not or would not do anything. There would always be the chance that a few would escape. And that would be of no help at all.

- - - - - - - - - -His words angered Deline some. She did not agree with that opinion at all. That couldn't - shouldn't - be the only reason for humans. There had to be humans before vampires...right? Because if there were not, what would they have fed off of? There wouldn't be anything, that she was confident in. She managed to stay looking calm, and not to glare at him or lunge for his throat. That certainly would not be a good idea, with all the vampires there to protect him. Warily, her eyes glanced over his guard. There were way too many for her to fight off.
"I see. Though, I do not agree with your opinions about humans. If they were only here to sustain us, why would some be changed instead of drained? Loneliness, I suppose you could say for the first vampire. But he could easily just change one, and that would be the end of it." Deline said, trying to make it not sound like a rant. She thought she had a valid point, but was unsure if he would.

"Their are few humans who will be lucky and be changed." Aro would agree with this to some extent. He himself had changed several vampires who were now apart of his guard. His most prized guard members were Jane and Alec he had run across them as humans. Their talents even as humans had been noticeable. The humans in the village had thought them witches Aro had the village destroyed afterward, but he did have the twins changed. "But the majority of humans have very little use." Aro had never really liked humans after he was changed. They were weak. His opinion on them would never change. There were not many who were changed and countless who had been drained. Their was no point in paying that much attention to them.
There was danger to allowing the humans know about them. It made everything so much more complicated in hunting as well as surviving. Humans were becoming a danger to the vampire world if they were to find out about them. The secret must be kept there was no other option. Aro has said this before many vampires when they had thought the Cullen's had an immortal child. Aro would have enjoyed taking many of the talents they had that he wanted. Caius had been displeased and still was he claimed Aro had taken to long. Of course there was nothing that could be helped about that now. Aro was certain he would come up with something, some plan as always, to gain what he wanted. And he would soon and quickly.
"But nevertheless I think the guard can get into the cities just as unnoticed as you can. If not better." Aro said returning to the subject at hand. The Newborn Army. Aro was confident in his guard that had much experience over the centuries something this young vampire did not. She was still new to this life and may not be as helpful as he would like. "We have been around for well over three thousand years." It had taken time to overthrow the Romanians and gain his current power. A task that was easier than he would have first thought. They had the entire coven aside from the two leaders destroyed as well as their castle. Leaving no evidence that they had even existed. "It would be easy to move around the humans to remain undetected. We do not even have to enter the larger cities. We can easily pick up the scents of vampires if there has been any in a particular city." It would still take time. Aro could be very patient he didn't rush into many things. And always thought over his actions before he did act. Unlike his brother Caius who did not.

- - - - - - - - - -Lucky? LUCKY?!?! It was not at all lucky to become a vampire, to Deline. They were damned to Hell in the end, and they never got to grow old or live there life. They would never be able to become truly successful, as they'd have to fake their death after a couple of years without some crazed rumors coming around. She did doubt that vampire would become one of them, but you never knew these days. Some reports might end up obsessed with some vampire books like 'Dracula' or 'Interview With A Vampire.' You never knew.
Deline refused to believe his opinion was correct, though a voice in her head was whispering that it was. They could persuade humans easily, so it seemed. The speed and strength did come in handy, along with the enhanced senses. What was she doing? She knew he couldn't be right in her unbeating heart, but her brain did believe it. She couldn't believe it. She wouldn't. She refused to. It would not become her new opinion, despite how accurate it did seem.
Get in better? Deline held back her chuckle. She had been to the big cities in Texas, and lived in the smaller ones. No one pale got by, even in some big cities. Though, they couldn't go during the day. Night was dangerous for any humans, and since they had to appear as humans they couldn't do anything with revealing their existence. "I see your point, though I do not entirely agree with the statement. Not to sound rude anything, but what I've caught most of those years have been locked up in a castle. I know humans and their reactions much better." She had a feeling that wasn't the smartest thing to say, but said it anything.

[[I'm not completely sure if Aro reads humans thoughts when he feeds, but I think he does. I think anyone he touches he reads their thoughts. If not I could edit my post. Kind of short I'm to tired to think of anymore.]]
Aro kept his expression calm, but he was not to pleased with Deline at the moment. "My dear, you are new to this life. You are young and are forgetting who exactly you are talking to. You have never heard of us before I had come across you. We are capable of being completely unnoticed by humans. It is our job to make sure our world remains a secret from the humans. If we are not able to get past a few humans then we wouldn't be succeeding would we?" Aro was confident in his guard. They had gone to countless cities before getting rid of any vampires who would cause problems. Deline underestimated them. Not a wise thing to do.
"We do know humans reactions I have seen them myself even recent ones. I know exactly how humans react." Aro had read many humans thoughts anytime he fed he had to touch them and in return knew their every thought. He knew humans better than this vampire before him. "If you have already forgotten I can read one's thoughts. I know humans far better than you ever will. Humans are pathetic. It's really not that difficult to sneak past a few. I do believe we are capable of doing so. And I know you will not be any better." Aro knew the Volturi were better and superior to this young ignorant girl. She knew nothing compared to what the Volturi knew. Human nature was easy to predict and easily controlled. If they caused to much trouble they could easily have them killed.

- - - - - - - - - - Was she coming across as arrogant at the moment? Deline was aware how very possible that the answer to that paticular question was yes. This didn't always happen, but it would if she got slightly annoyed or mad at some people. In this situation, she was slightly annoyed. She did not like to be underestimated one bit, though it happened a lot with her size and age. She may underestimate others a bit, but she didn't realize it.
"I can see you point, mainly. But I still have human memories and thoughts left, and I highly doubt that you do. I may be young, but it would be unwise to underestimate me. I know exactly what a human would think if they saw you. Heck, even when I saw you I thought of Dracula." Deline stated, keeping her expression fairly calm. Not the easiest thing for her to do, but she managed.

"Human memories fade I do not remember any of mine. It's been over three thousand years. I do know humans were far different and behaved differently than when I was human. They do not compare. Humans change so frequently it can be difficult to keep up at times, but that does not mean I do not know their reactions. It is not that difficult to predict how humans will react." Aro did not care for humans and never would. He didn't give that much thought about how they would react, but did now. He was not going to let this young vampire think she knew more than him.
"There is no point in trying to figure out a human's reaction to us. Our secret must be kept. If a human was to know about us they are to be destroyed. There are no other options." Humans were so weak and at times served no purpose but to sustain them. If they were to find out about them they were to be destroyed. That was for certain. Of course there was no point in having a conversation about humans reactions when they were going to be remain hidden from humans.
"My dear you are far to young for us to underestimate you. You are still new to this life still learning. It is you that is underestimating the Volturi. You should keep in mind who you are talking to. Not many are as bold as you have been. You should learn quickly such actions could cause you to be destroyed so very easily." Aro was reminding Deline who she was talking to. There was far more important things Aro should be doing than explaining himself to this ignorant vampire.

- - - - - - - - - - Deline held back the small smile that threatened to crawl across her face. She was not quite sure why she would be about to smile at a time like this, but did not put much thought into it. She had much more important things to think about at this moment in time then why she would be smiling. She listened to what he was saying, before speaking back up again.
"Exactly. Their time changes so quickly. They could easily snap a picture on a camera phone and send it too hundreds of people in a matter of seconds. Things with humans pass on quicker than you might think. People in Australia could know about you within a minute of one person seeing you." Why Deline chose Australia, she knew exactly why. She had had a fairly good online friend from Australia, and they had been fairly close.
Aro was probably right about that, and Deline knew it. She probably was underestimating them, while she was worrying about them underestimating them. She smiled deviliously. "I am perfectly aware of who I am speaking to. That does not surprise me that you have come across few as bold as I. I could be considered a 'wild child', as I never gave much thought to authority."

"Humans will not see us," Aro repeated. Aro did not care much for human items. He knew of them, but did not waste his time trying to figure them out. He had far to much important things to worry about like gaining more power. Trying to gain talents he wanted the Cullen's had many he wanted and he would gain in time. He was also wasting time that could be spent on searching for the Newborn Army. This was his reason for being here. He was growing tired of the vampire she was incredibly annoying and not worth his time. He could simply leave or even have her destroyed which was sounding like a good idea.
"Perhaps not, but I'm certain any other authority could not have you killed like we can. Even now it would take one word, one signal and your life could end. You do not irritate the Volturi unless you want to die. Very few challenge us and those that have are all destroyed. You should take this into consideration when speaking to me." Aro did not like being spoken to as this girl was she seemed to be challenging him with every world. He didn't mind challenges, but she had better be careful with her words. If he became to annoyed he could have her simply destroyed and he wouldn't have to put up with her. Though that would go against what they did. It's not like anyone knew this vampire she said it herself she is alone there her creator left her and she has no one. No one would miss her to much.
"It's not like anyone would miss you," Aro said thinking about destroying this annoying vampire Aro turned his eyes to his guard that were close by. It would take one signal for them to destroy Deline. "Or even anyone who really knows you." Aro continued turning his eyes back to Deline. "But you haven't done anything to wrong besides annoy me. Not the wisest thing to do I assure you. After all I have the power to end your life if I so desire." Aro enjoyed having others know how quickly he could have their life end. It could take a matter of seconds to destroy a vampire, or he could make it last much longer, much more painful. "We can be quick when killing a vampire it'll only take a few seconds. You may have some use if we don't destroy you. If I was you I would be careful with my words."

- - - - - - - - - - Aro's words didn't frighten her. At this point, she would welcome death. Her previous authority had had the ability to kill her, but they could also get arrested. If these were the leaders, she doubted that they would get arrested or anything. That would make absolutely not sense to put away your leaders. It'd be absolutely pointless.
"I do not fear death, anymore. At this point I would welcome it. I know no one cares for me anymore, let alone know me. I doubt your self-conscious would bug you about it, since you've obviously killed others before. End my life, if that's what it really is, if you must. Annoyance is something many people have learned to put up with. I'm surprised you haven't just dealt with it at your age.
"Yes, I may have use if you let me 'live.' But, I may not. As you said, your guard can probably do just as well. I probably shouldn't be this arrogant, I am aware. But it might take a few hours before I loose my attitude." Deline said, and realized that she was rambling slightly. At this point, she hardly cared that she was rambling.

"You are right it wouldn't bother me at all to kill you," Aro replied. Aro had killed countless vampires, or at the very least, had his guard kill them. It didn't even faze him to have a vampire destroyed it was who the Volturi were. There were always a few who did irritate the Volturi or break their rules and were forced to be destroyed. That was how it always was. It was rare when there was not some vampire who had decided to get destroyed. They all know better than to do anything to hasty around the humans, and yet they still do it.
"Perhaps annoyance is the wrong word," Aro replied. It was when the Volturi started to be challenged. The Volturi had been challenged by the Cullen's. Their half-breed, Renesmee, so very interesting. Yet they were forced to leave there was no reason to destroy them, and he would have. Had the fight been a little less even. Aro was not going to risk being defeated. "Being challenged is a better choice of words." Aro was a bit tolerate when it came to such simple things she was only one vampire, but Aro was more careful still planning. He would take what talents he wanted and he wanted several of the Cullen's. Alice was one he wanted more than any the ability to see the future would be wonderful! Aro could imagine it now it was something he wanted and he would have.
"No you should not," Aro agreed. It was not the wisest thing to do. Aro's guard could do a much quicker job and probably more efficient than this young vampire ever could. She was young and still learning, but perhaps she would learn to be a little less ignorant in time. Most vampires did not think of even challenging the Volturi even less saying they could do something better. If she had some sort of talent it would be different. That was what Aro was always searching for a valuable talent. He knew were several was that he wanted, but those would have to wait. Aro would have to find some way around their shield, Bella, or even kill her. But what an addition she would add to the Volturi!

- - - - - - - - - - Of course it wouldn't bother him to kill. With his 'job', he probably was totally immune to it. Deline thought, slightly bitter. She guessed if he hadn't had to do that, that the world would be running amuck with many vampires and humans would know all about it. That certainly would not be a good thing. If that many people knew, who knew how the incline or decline of vampires would go world wide. That would be very, very bad.
Deline raised her eyebrows slightly. That, she had certainly not expected. She did not feel like she was challenging him, and that would be stupid. "Well, you may feel that way. I may not be exceptionally bright, but I am not stupid enough to challenge you." She said calmly. She was smart, but she knew they were probably a lot smarter. But, she wasn't stupid either. Or at least, she did not think she was stupid.

"Perhaps it will remain that way," Aro replied. This vampire was still fairly new to this life and still learning what she could and could not do. Aro suppose the girl wasn't that important she had no talent and therefore wasn't worth much of his time. Nor did she have any information regarding the Newborn Army. Even if she says she can get past the humans better Aro does not believe she can. The guard have done been around humans countless times to find a vampire. It was not difficult and there was no chance they would get caught. It was still night the sun would not cause many problems for them. Deline had been useful and suggesting a few cities. Perhaps that would help narrow their search. "You have mentioned several cities that we must search. Finding this Newborn Army is important."
Aro glanced at his guard they should be moving on regardless if this vampire stayed or not. As long as she stayed out of trouble perhaps they would not run into each other anytime soon. That didn't mean Aro would not return to Texas there was bound to be another army eventually once this one was destroyed. "Although I'm certain there is more than one army we must find and destroy." Aro turned to look at his guard addressing them, "Dear ones it appears it is time to be leaving." Aro smiled as they replied 'Yes, master,' as they always did. "Deline, my friend, we must leave. It has been a pleasure to meet you. Perhaps we will meet again!" Aro called anyone he met his friend even if they were not. Whether he was to come across this vampire or not Aro did not care it was how he always did things. He appeared enthusiastic hiding his motives. He could be deep in thought, but his appearance would reveal nothing. Aro smiled at Deline it had certainly been an interesting meeting.

- - - - - - - - - - "Yes, I can tell. There's also El Paso, but I haven't been to eastern Texas in a while." Deline said. She could tell it was important to find the army. She didn't necessarily want humans to know either, but thought it might be easier. They wouldn't have to hide or anything, but she knew that would be impossible to deal with. There was no point in even hoping for that to happen. She bet she could probably be killed just for thinking that.
Friends? Pleasure? Deline held back her laughter. She ran her fingers through her hair, purposely scratching her neck to hold it back. "Pleasure wouldn't necessarily be my word, but nice to meet you to." That was a total lie, but she said it anyway. She didn't want to say she thought it was horrible to meet him or anything, but she didn't like lying either. Oh well, she went with the second choice. It was probably the better one, at this moment.
- - - - - - - - - -(( One of the guards could accidently brush against Deline as they pass. She doesn't know about her ability, and it could just be a randomly gifted one and she'll like stagger back and stuff and be like 'omg!' I don't know, that's my only idea to keep it going. ))

Aro simply nodded taking the city into consideration. They didn't have enter the cities to know if there were any vampires or not. Vampires had enhanced scent and could detect the difference between vampires and humans. It would not be difficult to figure out if there were any vampires in a give city. Locating the army was the most difficult part because there were several places they could hide. It would not be difficult to defeat the arm or even if they were to find one vampire they would have to make sure they had not destroyed their army. Many had tried that destroying their army when the Volturi arrive it never worked and never would. Aro would know with one touch if one had ever had an army or not.
Aro smiled at Deline as he made his way past her. The guard as always were close by Aro keeping a watch on the vampire. She wasn't stupid enough to try anything as she had said before, but they were always careful. Aro started planning on the best way to find the army and once they located the army or the creator what would be done? They could not allow this to continue it seemed every few years there was another army. This was starting to become tiresome coming here constantly. It needed to be put to a stop and quickly. Aro could have all the vampires in the South destroyed, but that would make the Volturi look bad. Something Aro could not have he would need to think of something grander. Something that made the Volturi seem justice in their actions.

- - - - - - - - - -Deline turned slightly to watch them walk away. Why, she was not sure. She was not planning on leaving the forest for a few more...years, or even decades. She was going to remain here, except to hunt. As she was turning, one of the man hooded figures bumped accidently against her. She opened her mouth to apologize, but when there skin brushed to fell to her knees.
What had just happened? Deline had no idea. There was an intense throbbing in her head, and her hands were at her temples. She somehow they that this person could -insertpower-. She cursed under her breath. What was happening to her? The throbbing was starting to fade away know that their hands had disconnected, but she could still feel it there. She remained on her knees, but merely looked up.

[[For the power you could choose Demetri (tracker), Renata (shied: repeals physical attacks), Chelsea (manipulate relationships) those are a few I thought of that we could use.]]
Aro smiled as he made his way from Deline. Aro had 'enjoyed' this little meeting it hadn't turned out quiet as he expected, but was nice nonetheless. Now he could focus completely on finding the Newborn Armies he was certain there was more than one. What reason would a vampire have for creating an army if there was no one to fight? Unless they were simply warning others that they would fight for which city they may have claimed. Of course the reason didn't matter they were soon to be destroyed. It was only a matter of time. Aro usually sent his guard to take care of matters as simple as this, but Aro had wanted to come along this time. It was not rare for him to do a few things on his own. After all he was close to the Cullen's not that he would go see them. He would gain what talents they had soon. He craved power and theirs would soon be in his grasp there was no doubt in his mind.
Aro turned as he heard Deline and saw her fall to her knees. Aro raised an eyebrow curious as to what had happen. His guard knew better than to attack, but he didn't think that was the case. "Deline," Aro said turning completely around to face her. "What has happened?" Aro asked curiosity was in his voice. He was always curious and wanted to know everything. He wanted to know why Deline was on her knees he knew none of his guard had done anything he would have seen it and he did not order them to do anything. Something had happened, but what Aro was uncertain.

- - - - - - - - - - Deline heard his question, but wasn't sure how to answer. She didn't know what happened herself. She just felt this pain in the back of her head, and some subconscious voice of hers was screaming that whoever brushed up against her was a tracker. She didn't understand what had happened at all, but guessed that the guy was a tracker.
"I-I don't know..." Deline stuttered honestly. Was she losing her mind? Not possible, you've already lost it, she thought humorously. She had lost her mind, or at least she believed she had. This wouldn't have been the first time something odd has happened to her with the same feeling, as the exact same thing happened with Aro. What was going on?

Aro looked at Deline curiously waiting for an answer. Aro smiled making his way back to Deline. He wonder what had cause this he knew she didn't want them to stick anymore than they were. He had many other matters he needed to attend to. The Newborn Armies being at the top of his list, but even after that he had much to do. He needed to return to Volterra there was always something to do. Something to plan. Aro was never bored not for a moment he was always planning and often curious. And Deline had caused him to stop and wonder what had happened.
Aro held out his hand. "Perhaps I can figure out what has happened?" Aro questioned waiting to take hers. He was curious as to what had just happened as he so often was. Aro was certain he could figure out what had just happened as he often was able to. It was rather strange for her to fall like this and Aro was growing increasingly curious as to what had caused this. Aro glanced at his guard there were none that could have done this with their talents. Aro turned his attention back to Deline waiting for her answer. Aro wanted to know everything and figure everything out. And he would the Newborns could wait a little while longer just long enough to figure this out.

- - - - - - - - - - The question of her own rang out in Deline's mind. She had lost her mind a long, long time ago she believed. She had always been on the odd side, but she had always taken that as a good thing. She was starting to regret admitting to being a freak around those she knew, and those she didn't know. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down.
Deline glanced at his hand. She was Aro probably had a better shot of figuring out than she did, being a lot older and all. She raised her hand, and met his. Hopefully he would know, because she was utterly clueless with ideas. She waited patiently while he tried to figure it out.

[[The best way I could figure this out was to use another guard. I chose Renata because she is probably always with Aro when he is away. I think in BD it said she was his personal body guard she was always touching him to protect him I think.]]
Aro smiled at Deline as she touched his hand. Aro read over her most recent thoughts paying attention to only what had just happened those were the ones he was curious about. It appeared Deline knew Demetri's power and yet Aro had not spoken a word about his guard's talents. Curious. Aro released Deline's hand. "Very curious!" Aro exclaimed amazed at what he was certain this girl had. Who he thought was not important or even special in any way. He was quickly having second thoughts. Perhaps she was able to know what talents others had. It would be must useful in his guard. So many possibilities! This was a simple guess and had to be confirmed.
"Renata my dear," Aro said sweetly looking at one his many valuable guard members. "Would you please come here," Aro requested. Aro turned his attention back to Deline. "Deline I am quiet certain I know what has happen, but I must make certain of this. Would you be so kind as to simply touch Renata. Tell me what her talent is." Aro waited demanded. He was certain this was her power, her talent that he would most certainly like to have within his guard.

- - - - - - - - - - Apparently her small little theory was correct. Deline was glad that he had figured it out, because if he hadn't she probably would have strangled herself trying to figure out what it was. Well, not literaly stragled herself. But you get the point, she would have tried very hard to figure it out. She probably would have gotten very frustrated, also.
Deline nodded at his request. She touched Renata's hand, and managed to stay standing. It still shocked her how she could do this. "She can shield physical attacks." She said softly. She wasn't sure what was happening, or how she knew this. She just knew that it was true. Which, naturally, confused her deeply.
- - - - - - - - - -[[ I looked it up on the Twilight wikipedia, to learn a little more about her. She appears like she is always touching him, but she really is just outstretching her hands to wrap her shield around him. ]]

Aro smiled as Deline said Renata's power. "Wonderful! I am curious does it work on humans as well? Could you possibly tell what powers a human could have? Aro was very interested in finding out these answers. First he had to acquire Deline get her to join the Volturi. "Such a talent could have endless possibilities so many uses!" Anytime Aro came across a talent of use he wanted it. He would love to have Deline in his guard. To have go about find potential vampires and if worked on humans well how splendid that would be!
"What a shame my brothers could not be here I am certain they would be interested!" Aro said still thinking about Deline's talent. "So much we could do, so much we could gain." Aro was well aware that Deline would probably refuse. He woudln't dare think of destroying since he discovered this talent. Int time perhaps he could gain this talent. Such a talent should be put to use. Within the Volturi it would most certainly be used. Aro had a few guards who could do something similar, Eleazar, came to mind. He had left the guard Aro did not make him stay.
"Deline you would most certainly be welcomed within the guard. So many possibilities! If there was a talent Aro wanted he would gain it eventually. He wouldn't force anyone, but he did have ways. Chelsea's talent could make her loyal to the Volturi she would want to join to be apart of their 'family.' Aro would be pleased if she was to join this trip wouldn't have been only to destroy an army but acquire a useful talent as well!

- - - - - - - - - - His words nearly made Deline want to squirm. She certainly did not want an ability. That made her feel ever stranger than she already probably was. Apparently it was a good thing, by his reaction. She guessed this meant not every vampire had an ability, and it was rare to. But still, she was not feeling very grateful about it.
Brothers? Deline was not used to people quite as preppy as he was, or at least she wasn't anymore. There were too many humans with preppy attitudes, and most of them just annoyed the heck out her. Of course, they ended up consider her 'emo' and 'goth.' She didn't really care what they said, because she had just thought of them as a bunch of snobs.
Aro's offer nearly made Deline gape at him. The offer did sound great, only because she wouldn't always be alone. But still, she had never even been out of the US except for driving through Canada to Alaska. "As kind as that offer is, I'm going to decline." She said quietly, not exactly sure of how he would react. She doubted many people declined.

[[Aro doesn't force vampires to join unless he had Chelsea then he could make them feel loyal, but since we don't I suppose this thread is going to end in the next couple of post.]]
Aro continued to smile even when Deline declined his offer as he had expected. "Well there is always later. Perhaps we will run across each other once more. It would be so very interesting to have you within the guard. So many possibilities. So much we could find out!" Aro would not force Deline to join the guard that was something Aro tried to avoid. However, he could use Chelsea if she was with him. Make others feel loyal to the Volturi that was often how he tried to gain others if they were a bit unwilling. It was an easy task one he had used several times even on a few important members of his own coven. Of course Aro didn't dwell on the past for to long.
"If you must decline then we must be leaving. I am curious if your gift works on humans. Perhaps you will find out in time!" Talents were rare and even harder to know if humans had such talents. Deline may be able to perhaps she will run across a human while hunting in the future. Aro could still imagine so many possibilities that talent could bring him. Talents were rare and Aro was determined to collect the rarest of them all. The Cullen's often came to mind they were still out of his reach. Soon he would gain them he would figure out some plan, some way to do so.

- - - - - - - - - - Deline was surprised when he continued to smile after she declined his offer. Maybe he gave out the oppurtunity to many, and many declined it? She did not think that was the case. It seemed rather unlikely for someone to decline, even with all of the power they would get. She might just be young and even more foolish to not except, but she didn't think much about that.
That did make her curios, if it would work on humans. But she doubted she had the restraint to not kill the human, and Deline couldn't just let it walk away knowing that vampires existed. She was always doubting herself nowadays, it seemed. She pushed those thoughts away. "Okay then. I suppose this is good-bye, for now." If the newborn armies continued in Texas, she knew she'd probably see more of Aro.
