Aro did not leave Volterra, Italy often. This was one of the rare occasions. Rumors of a Newborn Army had made it's way to the Volturi. When it came to serious matters as the Immortal Children and Newborn Armies Aro wanted to attend to these matters himself mostly. On occasion he would simply send the guard. Since this was in Texas where the mess of the Newborn Armies had started with Benito Aro had wanted to come. Their had been a huge clean up that lasted for about a year. Most were destroyed, others simply fled. There was one rare exception, Maria, who Aro was certain had an army. Each time he had run across Maria she somehow evaded his touch.
It was nighttime as expected they could not be out during the day. Their secret must be kept a secret. It was the reason they were here. Humans would become suspicious if they allowed Newborn Armies to exist. Aro could name a few vampires who may be the cause for this mess. Of course it could be someone new who he still had not met. This area was known for the constant wars. Aro had come here several times since the massive clean-up making sure no one forgot the Volturi would return. They would destroy every vampire if they had to. To ensure there was no more armies. The very reason Aro was here.
Aro was dressed in his pure black robe that stood out for the few guard he had with him. The guard wore gray robes. They all stood out and any vampire who saw them would know immediately who they were. They never changed and never would. They were in power and in charge. And Aro was in charge he loved power and loved when others knew he was the leader. One of the leaders at least Caius and Marcus were just as important. Though Aro was thought of as the leader. He lead everyone. His brothers had stayed back in Volterra seeing no reason to come. They could have just as easily sent he guard. Aro had wanted to come himself and so he did.

Deline crouched in the protection of a rather tall oak tree. Her amber eyes scanned the area around her, looking for any signs of danger. She looked down at the ground, before looking at herself. Her black jeans blended in well with the night, and especially with the dark wood. Though, they made her pale white skin stick out muc h more than necessary. She sighed lightly to herself, and looked at her purple shirt. There were blood stains on it, most fairly new from when she had hunted yesterday. She didn't dare go out in public to find some new clothes, scared she might slip up and show herself to the world.
A chilling wind blew through the night air, though it had no affect on Dede temperature wise. She remained colder than all humans are, her touch giving them a chill. Her firey red-orange hair blew violently in the sharp wind, but she didn't bother to figure out a way to tie it back and keep it out of her face. She merely would brush it back behind her ears a few times, only for it to be blow back seconds later. Deline sighed quietly to herself, and stood up on the branch. She could tell by the temperature of the air that she wasn't all too high up, but was still fairly high. She sighed lightly to herself, and walked on to the end of the branch. Taking a deep breath, she could smell a scent familiar, yet different at the same time.
Del dropped down from the tree, landing lightly on her toes despite the height of her fall. Maybe being a vampire does come in handy, she thought to herself. Her amber eyes scanned around, and she went rigid when she saw them. There were many people, all except for one in gray robes. The one that stood out was in a pure black robe, it was as dark as they sky without the stars or sun. She took a few hesitant steps back, crouching defensively. She wasn't stupid enough to try and attack this many people. She debated whether to be chicken and run of, or confront them. She took a deep breath, before letting her musical voice speak. "Who are you?" She asked hesitantly.

Aro easily picked up the scent of another vampire. The guard stayed close by as always. Uncertain who this young vampire was or what they may try to do. Aro continued to walk the guard stayed in a formation around Aro. His protection. They didn't want anything to happen to their master. Aro came to a stop several feet away from the vampire. Aro had a friendly expression as he watched the girl take a few steps back. Most were hesitant with so many, but his guard was needed. They showed he was in power, in control. Exactly how Aro liked it. He loved to stand out for others to notice him.
"Hello my dear!" Aro greeted as she questioned who they were. "I am Aro of the Volturi," Aro replied. It was rare to come across someone who did not know who they were. A newborn perhaps? "And your name my dear?" Aro question. Even a simple question as this was to be answered. Anything Aro questioned was to be answered it was how everything went. And if you knew who he was you knew what happen. If you upset the Volturi, or even just Aro, you had a chance to be destroyed. They were someone to be feared. But if you had done nothing wrong then you really had nothing to fear. They were about justice and destroying vampires who broke the rules. They never gave second chances.
Aro wonder if this vampire knew anything about the rumored Newborn Army in the South. Even if there was said to be one army there was bound to be a second, and possible more. It was to be stopped. Any associated with an army was to be destroyed. And Aro would know if any were innocent or guilty. It was a quick process, but it was a matter of finding this army. Aro was certain he could seek Maria who may indeed have the army. Or perhaps she would know who did have an army and distract him once again. She often tried to get attention away form her to safe herself. He knew if he was to read her thoughts she would be destroyed. Of course Aro was getting ahead of himself he needed to find out if this vampire before him knew anything about the supposed army here in the South.

Confusion flickered across Deline's face. Who were the Volturi? She felt as if she should know, but the name was completely unfamiliar. When he asked for her name, her eyebrows furrowed. She searched through her memories, trying to find a time when she had been called by her name. It took a few moments to remember. She wondered if she should say or not. He had told her his name without hesitation. She guessed that it would be all right to say hers. She bit her lip, still in slight in-decision. "D-Deline." She said softly, still surprised by how musical her voice was. She did not use it often, not wanting to be crazy and talk to herself.
Her thoughts flashed back to the Volturi. She looked at all of the men and women in the gray cloaks, warily. One by one, she felt a sense of dread crawl over her. She knew by their protective stances around the one called Aro that he was someone of high importance. What was so important about the Volturi? Why were they here? Questions flew through her head faster than she realized she could even think. She pressed her bright red lips in a thin line as she thought. She decided to start with the simplest question she had.
"What's the Volturi?" Deline asked in a quiet voice. She wondered momentarily if she was rather stupid to be asking that, as if she was one of the only people that hadn't heard of them before. She brushed back her firey red-orange hair, it was almost as dark as her eyes when she wasn't thirsty. She relaxed her eyebrows slightly, which she had realized where still furrowed in confusion. Once again, she glanced around at all of the vampires in front of her. It frightened her, being so outnumbered.

Aro waited patiently watching the girl closely. She seemed confused Aro was unsure why, but would find out. That much was certain. Aro smiled as the girl said her name. "Deline it is wonderful to meet you!" Aro loved meeting new vampires. Having others know exactly who he was. And finding talents was something Aro also enjoyed. He loved collecting valuable items. His guard, their talents rare, was something he loved the most. Each one rare and unique it was rare to have vampires join the guard. But when the offer was given it was rare to have one deny that opportunity. Of course he was not here to collect more talents he was here for business. A rumor of a Newborn Army was here and it must be taken care of.
Just as Aro had suspected the girl must be a Newborn asking who the Volturi were. "You are new to this life? I assume," Aro questioned. She was probably scared with so many close by. She appeared to be alone and most likely not apart of a Newborn Army, but then again she may be hiding something. Aro could never be to sure with others. While he appeared friendly and enthusiastic he was always planning. Ways to gain power, options he could take, or simply advantages he could take. There was to much to think about when you were in charge. And one had to be cautious of others, though that was hardly a problem. He had his guard close by if anyone tried anything. It would be a stupid mistake something that would get you destroyed.
"The Volturi my dear are often considered the 'Royal Family' by most vampires," Aro answered. "We have an important role in the vampire world. We destroy those who break the one rule that must be kept. Keeping our existence a secret. This one simple rule can be broken down many ways," Aro had seen and hears far to many ways this rule was broken. So many vampires destroyed over the centuries some crazy reasons, but all were taken care of. "That is why we are here my dear," Aro said getting to the point of his presence. "There are some forbidden actions that are result in intimidate death." The Newborn Armies being one the other Immortal Children something that would be far more sever than Newborn Armies. "A rumor of a Newborn Army is said to be here. Something we do not allow."

Deline listened carefully. She nodded slowly after he spoke. She wasn't ignorant, despite the fact she was abandoned. And she wasn't actually sure. She hadn't interacted with society since she was changed into a vampire. She had felt like she had been out here a long time. But, she supposed, compared to eternity she might as well have been born yesterday. Aro seemed offly...prep-ish to be here on such an undelightful occasion. She wondered how, and most important why he would be so cheery. Once again to relaxed her face, clearing all signs of confusion. But her eyes were too expressive for her liking.
"I see. I don't know if I'm a 'newborn.' I've avoided humans, except to hunt, at all cost. I don't know the date. I have not interacted with other vampires, either. Therefore, I have not heard of a Newborn Army being created. I just woke up alone from immense pain, and figured everything out." Deline explained, her voice getting softer with hints of sadness in it. She was having a hard time remaing standing, and not breaking down in tears. She had seen her closest friend die right before her eyes, and had to deal with it for her whole life.
Dede repeated his words again in her head, taking them into account. It made her think of her human life a bit. Her family had been related to an old king in Scottland, back in the thirteenth century. Then she realized something. He had said 'destroy.' Was it possible to kill a vampire? She had not thought so. She had tried some old legends she had read in folklore, but nothing had worked. She eventually just stopped trying, and dealt with the fact that was a vampire. It was a hard thing for her to have done, but she did.

"A wise thing to do my dear," Aro replied. It was wiser to stay away from humans to not draw attention or suspicion from the humans. There were countless vampires destroyed for that very reason. When humans found out to much about vampires they along with the vampire who revealed their secret were destroyed it was as simple as that. Most vampires were smart enough to not be told the one rule that must be kept. Newborns in particular were harder to control and when their creator leaves them, as in Deline case, it is rare to have them not reveal themselves.
"I trust you are telling the truth," Aro stated. This could be a lie, but Aro was certain it was not. He could find out easily, but for now he would take her word. It would take one simple touch and he would know everything. He liked knowing everything the entire story. Aro was here to destroy any armies and their creator. While it was pleasant to meet new vampires he had a job to do. "Newborns are vampires new to this life. They are stronger than the more mature vampires, but are usually hard to control." Aro explained what a newborn was to clear everything up. She was unsure of how long she has been around. Aro was certain Deline was not a newborn. She seemed in control of herself.
Aro kept his eyes on Deline watching her. He could never be to sure, but he was certain everything this vampire had told him was the truth. She seemed to not know anything about the Volturi or Newborn Armies. Waking up alone and having no one explain anything would make sense. "You have not seen others in this area?" Aro questioned. He needed to find out everything. Make sure there was no other vampires in this immediate area. Deline might have seen a vampire or two in this distance, but stayed away from them.

Listening carefully to watch he said, Deline nodded a single time. She had assumed it would be the safest thing to do, for the human's sake. She did not like having to murder the innocent, but figured it would be a better way to keep more alive. Though, she did live near a rather large city, so it was less noticeable when someone went missing and never re-appeared. She knew that it would be more noticeable if she hunted in a small town, because they tended to be close-knit. More people would search, because most likely more people would know them.
To his first words, Deline merely gave a single nod. She wasn't one that liked praise much, and usually tried to ignore it. When he spoke again, she pressed her lips in a thin line. "Of course. I realize it is best to be honest with numbers greater than your own. I'm not am idiot." That was most certainly true. She had had practically perfect grades in everything besides English. Her grades were exceptionally high in science, which is why she had planned on getting a medical degree. But, now that she was a vampire, she could not.
Deline's facial composure went back to nearly emotionless, her lips pressed in a thin line once again. His third words made sense. It was like being a baby all over again, starting your life. Except, in her case, she was alone with no one to trust and no one to help her. It was horrible for her to go through. She felt as if she could remember the dry burn in her throat as she woke up, confused and disoriented. She brought herself back to the real world. "I have met no other vampires, but caught scent of one or two."

[[Short post sorry. I'm just to tired to think of any more.]]
"Yes, but some lie to attempt to save themselves," Aro replied. There were several who tried to talk their way out of being found keep their secrets. Maria being an example whose thoughts he still has not read. Perhaps she is the one responsible for this Newborn Army. "It doesn't help anything to lie. We have ways of knowing everything," Aro always read vampires thoughts to see if they were innocent or not. Aro wanted to know everything when he was faced with another vampire and he always got his way. There was very few incidents when he did not. Maria once again came to mind. If he was to read her thoughts he was certain she would have to be destroyed, but these thoughts could wait till later.
"Do you recall how long ago this has been?" Aro question curiously. Aro like always wanted to know everything. Of course if she didn't know when she had picked up the scent of a vampire he wouldn't be able to find out in her thoughts either. It was a problem not knowing, but something that could not be helped at times.

Deline pursued her lips in thought. "Lying is stupid, anyway. Karma will catch up with you in the end." She noted. She knew from experience how stupid lying could be. She nearly winded up in jail from a simple lie. Then again, she would tale jail over where she was and what she was any day. She was not a big fan of being a vampire. It made her feel so guilty. Her last words to her little sister had been 'I hate you.' Now, she could never go back and apologize. Guilt washed over her thinking about that, so she shoved the thoughts away.
"I could not say exactly. Probably the summer or fall of 2006, and spring of 2007." That was the best Deline could do. She hoped her years were accurate, or at least the years had passed. She did not know. She should probably go out on a cloudy day and buy a paper to catch up one what had happened. That might come in handy some time, especially if a human came across her that she did not kill because she was not thirsty and they did not know her secret.

"Yes," Aro agreed. Of course there were several vampires during the centuries that had tried to lie. "But some want to try if only to extend their life a little longer. Several have, but all have the end result of being destroyed." The Volturi were not to be lied to. Aro would know if you were telling the truth or not with one simple touch. It was a powerful gift and allowed him to know everything. However, there were some vampires who did give him problems. Maria being one. Her thoughts he had read only once when she was innocent of creating a Newborn Army. Aro had not read them since their first encounter. He was certain she had an army and several since then. But she had always evaded his touch not allowing him to know her thoughts. She would be destroyed if he was to he was certain.
"That has been nearly two years my dear," Aro frowned slightly. "Such a long time the vampires you had picked up may be long gone by now. If you have not picked up their scent recently. Whoever has this army is probably aware we are looking for them. It may be more difficult to track them down. But they must be destroyed along with the army." Aro was uncertain if this vampire would be of any help with his search. He needed to find this army before he did anything else. It was something that must be done and quickly. "So much to do. Action must be taken quickly."
The Volturi while did not exactly keep up with the years was aware of what was happening. Aro was only aware of what the year was because he had been keeping up with how many years had come between the time of the discovery of a half-breed to the present. It still amazed him. A half-human, half-vampire. Thinking about it still needed to search for Joham who has been making half-breeds. This was another task they needed to start. Where to start was the question. He would need to do some research track down records of half-breeds until he found him and destroyed him.

Two years? Wow. Deline was surprised. Time passed slowly being alone. Then again, for her time always seemed to pass slowly. She was not a patient person. She would have been twenty seven years old. She would have had friends that loved her like her family never did. She would have nearly graduated college to become a successful and rich doctor. She would have had a life, maybe even a boyfriend or husband. She could have had a family. She had never thought of that before. But now that it was gone, she yearned for it. Too little, too late.
"Whoever it is, they most likely are not in Texas. I stay in state, but have traveled all over it. They will more likely be in Mexico." Deline said. She wondered if the vampire who had killed her friends before her own eyes was a part of the army. He had taken everything away from her. She for some reason wanted to now kill them, get revenege for taking her friends and her own lives. Her hand tightened into a fist by her side, and she pressed her lips in a thin line. Now was not the time to growl.
Closing her eyes, Deline took a deep breath to calm herself. Calm down Del, she thought to herself. She did not need to loose control, throw an unnecessary temper tantrum. She curled up her toes for a moment. She told herself to calm down again, think happier thoughts. She released the breath. She then uncurled her toes, and opened back up her eyes. She was now in control of her anger, which when got the best of her was not a good thing for any living thing near by her. When she lost control, people tended to get rather injured.

"My dear that may be correct," Aro replied thinking about it some. "Of course we have just started our search we will find who is responsible for causing so much trouble. I rarely leave Volterra and when I do I expect to find the one responsible. They will be destroyed along with their army." Aro was not to fond of leaving Volterra it was his home. His guard remained with him as always. Marcus and Caius had stayed back they did not see any point when they could simply send the guard to do their work. Aro disagreed this was a serious matter and needed to be taken care of by the leaders themselves. Aro would find who this vampire was whether it was Maria or not. Perhaps he wound run across her gather some information.
"Angry?" Aro questioned noticing Deline's fist at her side. "At what my dear?" Aro questioned sweetly. Of course she would have to answer him there had to be some reason for her reaction. Did she know more than she was letting on? Aro kept his expression friendly, but he would know everything. Find out if she was keeping secrets she would not be able to lie about anything. She had no reason to get angry with his questions. He could find them out out by simply touching her which may be the simplest thing to do.
The guard reacted to Deline's anger that was visible. They would not allow anything to happen to their master. Aro was aware of them and allowed them to react. Maybe show Deline that she should be careful with her emotions learn control. One slip and it would be her death. It was something you did not do attack the Volturi or oppose them even. Every vampire knew this aside from newborns. And this one had told him she had not heard of the Volturi she did not know. They did not give second chances. Perhaps she should learn this now before she does anything that would end her life. "You know my dear I have not told you much about us, the Volturi. You do not anger us. We are a powerful coven in control of everything. To do anything against us would result in immediate death." The guard kept their position even after Deline had seemed to calm down. It was better to be careful than sorry.

Crap! Deline thought when he noticed her anger. What could she say? She did not want to seem pathetic or anything. She watched the guard crouch defensively around him. When he explained it made more sense. Their job must be to protect him, she thought. That would make more sense. She did not plan on acting him. She more likely would have thrown a few trees, maybe snapped one of two of them. She had never been good at controlling her anger. She wondered if that was why she had been signed up for counselling by her parents many times.
That thought nearly caused Deline to have to calm herself down once again. She thought about what to tell him about her inner temper tantrum. She could just tell him the complete truth, but she was not in the mood to be laughed at. That might just set her off. She had learned that lying was never the answer, but would something this small come back to bite her? She did not believe that would get the a death penalty. If it did, that would just be very suck-ish. Not wanting to talk about personal life was not bad, was it?
"Umm...please don't call me dear." That was not the reason, but Deline had been called that by many people she thought had loved her. "It's..." She struggled with what to say. "...nothing. It's nothing." She said, trying to get herself to believe it. She shook her head, as if to clear it of all the foul human memories that she clung on to so tightly. She honestly did not want to let them go. That would just be like giving up. Deline would cling to them as if they were dear life. She would never let to.

Aro looked at Deline questioningly he had not come across anyone who had not opposed him calling them 'dear.' He did not do many request this was a small one yes, but still unusual. "Not one has ever opposed to me call them 'dear.'" Of course most knew who exactly he was and what he had the power to do. If he called them 'friend' or 'dear' they didn't oppose even those two were far from what they were. "It is unusual having someone oppose what I say even if it is small." Aro was not upset at all his tone was friendly. He was just not use to giving into request. They've had a few request that he has denied and some he would agree to.
Aro doubted it was nothing. He was certain. "Deline you have told me once before you would not lie and here you are lying to me. I have ways to find out everything." Deline probably did not know Aro's ability she didn't even know about the Volturi. "Were you angry about telling me about where the vampires may be or something else?" Aro's tone changed from friendly to demanding. He would find out everything. "Or shall we make this all much more simpler?" Aro mused taking a few steps toward the vampire.
"I have a powerful gift, Deline." Aro said as he came to stand closer to the girl. His guard followed him ready to protect him if Deline tired anything. The slightest hint she was thinking of attacking she would be restrained. Aro offered his hand to take hers. "I can know every thought you have ever had." Aro's gift was powerful and allowed him to know everything. He would be able to know if anyone was lying, if they were planning anything. Every little thought was his once he touched someone.

Deline was okay being the first to say that to him. She hated the word dear after being called it by her self-loathing parents for years. As for the unusual, she did not mind that either. She never claimed to be normal, and never would. She knew that she was insane and could be considered a psycho-path. After so many years of being called that and many worse crude names, she was used to it. She had even learned to except it, or most of the names. She knew for sure that she was not a stupid person.
That was correct, Deline was aware she said that she would not lie. She cursed mentally at herself. She knew that she was most likely too hard on herself, as usual. She got mad at herself now, but concealed her anger in an emotionless mask. She released a breath silently. "It's not that. I'm not to..." She searched for the right word. She could say proud, which was true. She regretted being aneroxic, high, drunk, and suicidal. They were all bad to her. "Fond, I suppose, of my past." She said with a light sigh. That was putting it simple.
Deline backed up into a tree with a single step as he walked forward. Dang, she thought. That was one interesting power. She did not even realize vampires could have special abilities. She doubted that she would have one. She was normal, despite her craziness. She looked at his hand for a moment, hesitating. Slowly, she took a step forward and met his hand. She felt a slow prickle up her skin, and somehow knew he hadn't lied. She had not believed he was lying, but she knew it was true somewhere in the back of her mind.

Aro looked curiously at Deline. "Most of us don't recall much of our human life." Aro couldn't tell you much if anything about his. He never had any reason to he was far grander than any human. For anyone to say anything else would not be true. Vampires were stronger, faster, their senses far powerful. Of course Aro had come across several who thought different. Who thought humans shouldn't be hunted. The Cullen's were an excellent example of this. They did not hunt humans it was strange even after reading their thoughts. He did not understand them and probably never would.
Aro smiled at Deline as she placed her hand on his. He closed his eyes for a moment reading all of her thoughts. Focusing on them. Her human life was meaningless it did not tell him anything he wanted or needed to know. Only how she was changed. The vampire had left her. Unusual and strange as that was it was not his concern. As long as Deline would understand the one rule they had he would have no reason to do any more. Her human life seemed to consume her thoughts something strange for most vampires he had come across. Though most he did were to be destroyed or came to him for some reason a request or simple curiosity.
Vampires were often out for revenge when something was taken. Aro had seen this several times more times than one would ever know. Many were destroyed for getting to close to the humans. Losing their control. Aro did not see Deline doing anything that would cause him to destroy her. Aro released her hand and stepped back. "You have done nothing wrong as of yet." Aro was careful with his wording. She had not thought or done anything to cause Deline to be destroyed, but that could change very easily. "You hold tightly to your human thoughts. I have come across several who have. I don't understand why. We are far grander than humans. Be sure you keep away from humans and don't reveal what we are. The one rule all must follow. Our reason for existing we make sure that rule is kept. " Aro wanted to make sure Deline understood to keep the secret to follow this rule. Otherwise she would be destroyed as anyone else who broke this rule. The reason he was here because of a Newborn Army.

Deline found that odd. She clung on to her human life, trying not to forget it. She knew it could not be good for her mental health. She did not care if the hatred got to her head one day. Maybe death would be the better option. She had wanted it so badly when she was bitten. It still did not seem like such a bad option. Sure, she would probably end up with the devil. She had no doubt in her mind she would end up down there, as she was damned regardless. She wondered now if it would be too bad.
The prickle in her mind intensified as he read Deline's thoughts. When he released her hands, she staggered backwards. She pressed her right hand against her forehead, and her left hand was on the tree to keep her from sliding down to the ground. Her unnecessary breathing was ragged, but the prickle was thankfully gone. She had no idea what had come over and managed to stand up straight. She took a few breaths, and shoved her hands in her back pockets. You're getting crazier every day, she mentally scolded herself. She was officially insane.
Yet? The dreaded word, Deline thought bitterly. She had a good feeling she would not reveal her existence, as any humans who came across her pat or had where dead or going to die. She rarely came across humans in the middle of nowhere, but hated it when she did. That made her more and more of a murderer. "I am not sure why I cling, to be honest. I would love to forget, but every time I murder it all comes back to me. I've ended up liking the memories, in a twisted way." A very twisted way indeed.

While Deline did remember most of her human memories it was her vampire memories that interested him the most. Particularly the vampires she has met, Maria. Aro was aware the Deline wanted revenge for the vampires that killed her friends and changed and Aro knew just who was responsible. Maria. Aro knew for Maria had secrets that she kept from him. If he was to touch her to read her every thought. Every lie, every secret would be revealed and she would most likely be destroyed. Aro turned his attention back to Deline he would have to be careful with what he said. He had seen some of her anger for those who changed her.
"Most human memories fade away over time," Aro replied. "Of course if you do think of them from time to time you will not forget. I see no point in trying to remember long ago memories." Aro could not tell you anything about his human life. It was long ago one of the oldest in the vampire world. Three thousand years old and most of that he had been in power, in control. His main focus in life was to gain more power he was certain even as a human he had wanted power. Something he would never give up something he would always want more of.
"While human memories may fade vampire memories do not. They will stay with you for all time," Aro said his tone calm, neutral. "Your first memories when you were changed. A group of vampires. It seems to me they may have been a Newborn Army. Small as the most recent ones have been. They do not want to draw to much attention." Aro watched Deline carefully and curiously. He wonder what her reaction to this would be. Would she get angry again? She had better control her temper around him she could be destroyed so very easily.

Deline had noticed how much clearer her memories as a vampire were than as a human. That did explain quite a bit. Her knew memories were much more defined, which she despised. She could remember each person she killed, the fear in their eyes, their screams, all so crystal clear. She could feel a twinge of guilt once again. Being a vampire would be so much easier for her if she didn't constantly feel so guilty for stealing so many lives. Without the guilt, she could be in a much better position than she was. She might even know the date.
Nearly letting out a growl, Deline nodded. If she ever found this Newborn Army, she would either kill them all or go down trying. She bit down on her lip, trying hard to ignore the anger and the growl building up. I swear to God I am going to kill whoever damned me and took away all of my friends lives. She thought angrily, knowing that it was true. If they did not die soon, she would. The wind picked up again, whipping around her hair. She could only imagine what she would look like at that moment.
Deline could practically see her expression. Her crimson eyes filled with hatred, her expression looking almost murder some. She would dance on their grave when they were dead, such a happy dance. "So I've learned." She merely said in a soft tone. Her hands remained straight, but she could feel they were tenser than usual. Not the type of tense when she caught smell of a humans fresh spilled blood, but the kind of tense where she got angry. If she were human, she'd probably be kicking the heck out of anyone that dare pushed her buttons at the moment.

Aro could easily tell by mentioning those vampires Deline was angered. She wanted revenge and by her reaction to those words he could tell she wanted it badly. More than anything most likely. "I have run across many some who have even escaped me. I'm certain if you were see those vampires once again you would recognize them?" Aro questioned carefully. His tone was calm as always he never revealed his emotions or what he was planning. One would think he was being friendly when he was actually planning on how to use what he had to his advantage. "Your memories," Aro had seen everything, but he wanted Deline to focus on those vampires. Pick out traits that would make them newborns different from mature vampires. Meaning they were indeed Newborns. "These vampires were they in control of themselves?"
Aro was well aware of his guards. They reacted to Deline and her expression. If things were to get out of hand she would be restrained and possibly destroyed. She did not know how to kill a vampire. She could rip these vampires apart, but that would not kill them. No he would not tell her exactly how to kill a vampire. He was certain she did not know how. Aro kept his eyes on Deline watching her very carefully. His guard he was sure where doing the same thing. Watching her waiting for her to make one mistake. That one mistake could be the last one she ever made. But he didn't want to destroy her who knows what possibilities she could bring him! She was young and she wanted revenge. Revenge was something that consumed a vampire they would never rest until they got their revenge. Aro had seen this countless times. Sometimes they lose control and that cost them their life.
Aro was certain Maria was behind Deline's transformation rather she knew she was changed or not he was uncertain. Of course she was probably the reasons he was here. She probably had a Newborn Army and it had caused to much attention. There was probably another army other than Maria's that also needed to be destroyed. So much to do and so little time. They had to take care of this before the humans became to suspicious of them. This would need to be taken care of quickly.

Recognize? Deline was not sure if she would. She knew they would most likely look familiar, but she probably would think they were at least fairly familiar. She relaxed her muscles that had tensed out of anger. "They would probably be familiar, though I would not be able to recognize them immediately. They had better control than the one who changed me, as they did not bother to drain me though they were perfectly aware I was there." She knew that they knew she had been there. She had been begging for them to change her.
That memory was blurry, but the pain was easy to remember. All Deline could remember was the bright light of a fire, with other vampires around it. She had assumed the fire had killed the vampire, as it seemed to be able to kill pretty much everything. "Little devils..." She mumbled, not sure if Aro would be able to hear her or not. She did not really care if he could, as it was not like she had been speaking about him or who he was with. Her eyes scanned slowly ovwer all of the cloaked figures watching her carefully. She assumed they were waiting for her to run screaming.
Deline did not dare meet any of their eyes. They were rather intimidating, making her feel even smaller. There was only one person she could see smaller than her. She wondered how they were able to deal with it all the time. She did not feel small around most people, but now she felt like a child again. Though, compared to these people, she might as well be a newborn. She knew Aro had to be extremely old to have control of all of the vampires currently roaming around the wood causing trouble to humans.

Aro listen to Deline as she answered him. Human memories were often difficult to remember, but this young vampire could remember things so easily. It was different, but not important. He was more concerned with who had changed. Who had been in control of the group of vampires. He was certain he knew exactly who it was. Maria. Over the years it seems Maria had caused him more trouble than she is worth. She should probably be destroyed for her efforts. That is if he can find her and read her thoughts. Without her dodging him eluding his touch. It was troublesome at times.
"The group may have been close to a year," Aro mused. Of course they may have learned some control been trained. "They are probably destroyed by now. That is if they were newborns. Their creator would have destroyed them within a years time. A new group has probably been made. That is if they are indeed a Newborn Army." Aro was here to destroy a Newborn Army and perhaps the very one that changed Deline. There was so much to do and so little time. The humans were becoming far to suspicious for their own good.
Aro was fairly certain Deline had seen Maria. "I recall one vampire in your thoughts. One who may have been the leader of this group." Aro was careful with his words. He didn't want to anger Deline, but if he did it would be her problem. He wanted answers and he wanted them immediately. He was not one for delay. Though he could be more careful than usual. He would try not to get herself destroyed. That wouldn't do him any good right now.

Deline also listened carefully. The sound of thunder filled the air, and she closed her eyes for a moment. She enjoyed the rain thoroughly, despite the lack of it in the South where she had lived most of her life. It always relaxed her, while most of people she knew despised it deeply, as it could stop many events. She could not feel the rain pelting down quite yet, but knew it would be only a matter of time before it hit. She had heard thunder and lightning could happen without it raining, but didn't completely believe it yet.
The moment he had said destroyed, the thoughts of fire came across Deline's mind again. She could remember much to clearly for her own liking the flame burning the vampire that had bit her; how she had compared his death to the pain she felt. A whole year? She thought, slightly surprised. They had only had a year to live. She was almost grateful that they had left her alone, but at the same time angered. She was not completely sure at the moment if she would take death over vampirism, as it was an extremely close call for her.
"I'm guessing you mean the black haired female?" Deline asked, slight questioning slipping through. That female hadn't touched anything, but she could recall her mouth moving and giving instructions. She had been to out of it to understand, but obviously the others had. Plus, while the others eyes had been a violent shade of red, hers were duller than the rest. She seemed to have some authority over all of them, so she must have been the creator. That was the only possibility that would make since in her head, as the rest had done everything without a question.

"Yes," Aro replied simply. "I've run across her several times on my trips here. We have come here countless times to destroy those who have an army. She has always avoided my touch, but your memory are perhaps enough to get justice. Perhaps it is time for her to be destroyed," Aro replied. He was certainly curious if this girl would want Maria to be destroyed. He had not yet said what her name was, but he would wait for her reaction. It was obvious Deline had a temper and may be easily triggered of course if she chose to do something to hasty in her anger it may be the end of her life.
Aro could easily have Maria destroyed. He was sure she had an Army even after all those times she came face to face to him she had lied. She always lied and was to never be trusted. But to destroy to lose the challenge they had formed would be a waste. It could be entertaining at times seeing what exactly she was going to do this time. Acting like the best of friends when they were not, threatening if she was to say the wrong word she would be destroyed immediately. Always careful. Ah, but all good things do come to an end do they not? Well excluding his growing power that would never end, but Maria may indeed end. It would depend if he was to find her and even more if he could read her thoughts. He could force his guard to restrain her to allow him to read her thoughts, but he could also be patient.
Aro could hear the thunder a storm was coming, but that meant little to him. He could care less if it rained or not. It wasn't like he would get sick simply wet and he didn't much care if he was wet or dry. He was going to find this Newborn Army no matter what the weather may be. Of course the rain was nice his wife was fond of the rain as well. But he had better focus on the task at hand and the vampire before him.

Deline was slightly glad her suspicions about the women had been correct. She was not the type of person who was used to being wrong about many things, and certainly was not all too fond of the feeling of knowing that she had been wrong about something. When she heard about them perhaps destroying her, she nodded solemnly. She had a feeling if they did not, she would try to kill her. She did like to get vengeance on some things, and this was certainly going to be one of those things were she wanted revenge extremely badly on them.
It seemed to Deilne that this wild woman could most definitely not be trusted by any body. A few rather vulgar thoughts about her crossed her mind, but for once she did not shame herself about them. This woman deserved much more than a few vulgar thoughts that the person who thought them rarely cursed at anyone, even in her own thoughts. She preferred to keep her mind fairly clean, unlike others she knew that had no point in keeping it clean. She was actually glad for once her mind was fairly clean, as she would not want someone to know if it was not.
Deline let a single drop of rain water land upon her hand, and did not bother to flick it off like she did when she had first been changed. She had gotten used to the feeling of being soaking wet, with her clothes clinging to her skin uncomfortably. She watched, almost child like, as it slid down her arm from the force or gravity. She could feel a light trail of warmth from where it had landed upon on her and trailed down, and relaxed her arm again as she looked back over towards Aro.

"It really is a shame you haven't been paying to much attention to others. If so we might have a clue as to where this Newborn Army is," Aro stated. Aro most certainly needed to find this Newborn Army and destroy them. But some creators had their armies destroyed before the Volturi found them. Aro had come across this several times. he would read thoughts of others know who had armies and who did not. Though he had never read a thought that showed Maria with an army. In Deline's thoughts she had an group of vampires who seemed to have some control, that may not be newborns. But something most certainly and he would find out as he always did.
He needed to have another 'visit' with Maria. He was bound to run into her while he was here in Texas he always did. Unless she was away which he highly doubt. She had created a Newborn Army once he was aware of for 'protection' she claimed that she could not leave her home. Aro had felt no reason to rush and he had found out her companion Jasper was the reason. He had the talent to control one's emotions. Jasper was currently apart of the Cullen's who had many talents he wanted. So many rare valuable talents that would add nicely to his collection. And the half-breed as well.
Aro was not getting distracted with thoughts of gaining more power. He really shouldn't get so distracted it was not good. He needed to find the army and soon. "Deline perhaps you can be of some service," Aro said slowly. "You know this land much better than I you would know where places to hide would be. Larger cities is probably what these newborns are fighting for. We need to know everything to ensure they are destroyed. To pinpoint exactly where they are."

That angered Deline slightly. Like it was her fault! She could not help the fact that she had been alone, and not all too aware of things. She could hardly help the fact. He should be lucky she hadn't ran off yet, as she could run much faster than the few vampires she had came across, but they were not located in Texas. She kept her face in an emotionless mask, and kept her hands straight and relaxed at her side. Her toes had curled up slightly, but not enough to show her anger toward him at the moment.
How dare he insult me like that?! Del thought. The might be the royal family of the vampire world, but she was actualy real royalty. She was aware the she had a relation to the Queen of England on her father's side. She ran her log, pale fingers through her hair to calm her self down. She relaxed her toes again, taking her thoughts away from her anger towards him. She knew that he was most likely not the man to get mad at, especially since had had a mass of guards with him that could kill her easily.
"I see. Yes, I do know of all of the major cities in Texas and have probably visited them all. I've been in Mexico once before, but do not know as much about the land down there and their populations." Deline explained fairly quickly, knowing that it was true. She had covered most of the land in Texas, except right near the border with Louisiana. But she still knew what cities where over there.

[[Short sorry couldn't think of much.]]
"If the creator of these Newborns is aware that we are here they may have the army destroyed. Of course they may be completely unaware of us right now. That will change quickly." Aro was certain he would find the Newborn Army soon. It was a matter of finding the creator. He was certain that Maria had something to do with this and if she did not she would know who. She usually told Aro of some other army even if she was the one with an army. Perhaps this time he would read her thoughts. She would probably have to be destroyed. He had given Maria more than enough warnings and she knew his promises were threats. If found with an army you were to be destroyed they did not give second chances to no one.
"Do you know which areas may be best for a large number of vampires. For those to remain hidden and undetected?" Aro questioned. They needed to figure out which cities would be most likely for vampires to hide. Aro was certain of which ones they were fighting over, but that did not mean that's where they were. Other armies were probably in close by cities. But which ones Aro was unsure. If they knew which area they may find these armies.

Dang, she thought, those creators are harsh. She was glad, yet mad, that they had abandoned her. She was glad because that meant she still had her life, and wouldn't have been destroyed seven years ago. She was mad though, because they just abandoned her and left her to figure everything out on her own. She continued to keep her emotionless mask on, those she knew her eyes would probably look far away. One of the few disadvantages of being quite a deep thinker, you always look like you are in your own little world when you start thinking.
"I could come up with a few guesses, but it depends on which cities they are trying to name their own." Deline explained calmly. If they were fighting over Dallas, it could easily be Denton or Tyler. If they were fighting over Austin, it most likely would be Bryan, or possibly Waco, though that was unlikely. If it was Houston, it'd probably be Galveston or even Victoria. If it was San Antonio, it could be Pearsall or New Braunfells. There were so many possibilities of towns they could be hiding in, which was a disadvantage of living in a huge state.
