Year: 1720 Carlisle was curious. It was a very honest curious that lead him from his studies in medicine to this place. It was said a very powerful coven lived in this walls. Carlisle could believe it. He was being lead to a great hall, that look very old. He had told them he was a traveler and just passing though, and after some quick questioning, they let him him and were leading him to whoever lead them. {Sorry this is short, I promise they will get longer, but I really had no idea how to start the thread.} {ARO ONLY PLEASE - For now} |

Aro sat in the main room bored. There hadn't been to much that had happened recently, there bond to be some vampire gone crazy or something he would have to stop or so he hoped. A guard member appeared in front of him and bowed, he motioned for him to say what he wanted. "A visitor has come to visit," The guard said this quickly.
Something new, Aro smiled, "Bring him in! Aro demanded. The guard left and came back quickly. It was a young looking man, but looks were always deceiving. Aro stood from where he sat a smile on his lips. "Ah, welcome my friend!" Aro greeted. "What brings you to our lovely city?" Aro inquired curious.

Carlisle wondered how close they would let him get, but from from any evil planning on his own. "I traveling while studying medicine." He answered, "Trying to learn everything I can in order to do some good in the towns I am in." He spoke honestly, however Carlisle had not meet to very many other vampires. He knew most were not like him, but these vampires seemed civilized. He hoped he could explain his way of life and perhaps if he give them the highlights on it, they would help him spread word of another way of life.

"Well you've come to a good spot to learn," Aro replied always happy to meet others. Aro looked at Carlisle, "How much do you know about us?" He was simply curious, he wanted to know more about this vampire, of course he could read every though he has know his past, which he would probably do. But after he found out how much this vampire knew about the Volturi, how much had he learned about his own kind?

”I do not know all I wish you.” Carlisle confessed with a warm smile. “I know you have lived here and keep order many years.” He looked around, turning slowly to openly admire the home Aro had worked hard to build. “It appears to be a very grand place to spend your life.” Coming back to face Aro, Carlisle held out his hand to shake in greeting. “I am Carlisle Cullen.”

"Carlisle it is wonderful you have decided to come here!" Aro said he took a few more steps closer to Carlisle he did not know much about the Volturi, but he would probably learn much during his time here. "We are always happy to have visitors such as yourself come. We would be happy to accommodate you for as long as you plan on staying. Is there anything in particular you were wanting to know about?"

Carlisle lowered his hand, seeming to see the man would not take it in greeting, not had the vampire offered his own name in return. Was he already supposed to know it? How much was he supposed to know?
"I am not a new vampire, however. . . I know little of the world we live in. The hidden world humans do not see." Carlisle was often amazed with how they seemed to live int he same cites and no one seemed to know. It was fractionating. "I would like to learn more about our histories and life. Perhaps express some ideas to help make it a grander and for filling life. Might I start with, asking your name?"

"How rude of me," Aro replied quickly. He had been far to interested in learning about this vampire he forgot to properly introduce himself. "I am Aro. Along with Marcus and Caius we rule the Volturi, I'm afraid they are busy as the moment. But I'm sure you'll have a chance to meet them during your stay here." Aro wasn't sure where Marcus or Caius were at the moment, but wasn't to concerned with it.
