"No please, No!" Screamed a young man in tears as he attempted to remove the cloth that bind his hands together. "Begging wont save you now!" A deep booming voice echoed off the cave walls, making the voice seem more tyrant. Before the young man could speak again a rather large rock came down upon his head and everything went dark once more. With a bright flash of light coming through the nearby window, it started to awaken the young man. The pain of the rock still stung in his memory. The young man sat up in his bed, covered in cold sweat. Ever since he has gotten back from Iraq the nightmares have haunted him. The young man, Angel rubbed his throbbing head, as he realized just what had awoken him, his alarm from across the room was going off, the sun had not awoken him at all. As Angel got up and crossed his room to his alarm clock he had realized that he has seen these nightmares many times before, way to many times before. With his deep tired old green eyes, the male, 23 years young, looked around his room, trying to come back to the present, and leave the past behind. His guarded eyes landed upon the door that was about a foot away. Through his open door he saw yet another door, which was tightly shut. That room housed his young daughter, sleeping away.
Before he went in to wake her, Angel shifted through his closet, picking out something to wear. He had to go to work, so not like he had a big selection of things to wear, Scrubs, scrubs, or more scrubs. Angle shook his head a little to himself as he pulled out a pair of black scrubs and placed them on his dresser. Just another day at work. He sat down next to his bed, as he fished out his black sneakers. His hospital shoes, which were tightly wrapped in plastic bags. He did not want to bring anything from the hospital home. Standing up and walking out of his room and into the next room. He went into the corner of the smaller room stopping when the crib was within reach. AJ looked over the edge of the crib to see, Charlotte his 14 month old daughter, sleeping away.
After taking a shower, brushing his teeth and changing into the scrubs he picked out not seconds ago, he made his way back into the darken room. Angle kept the light off, not wanting to wake Charlotte. Angel started to pack a diaper bag, full of anything and everything Charlotte would need for the day, including books and toys. Okay so it was more like a box of toys and books, with a diaper bag sitting upon it. Minutes later and everything was packed and ready to go. He just needed to get his daughter ready. But before waking her up, Angle carried the stuff out to his black Chevrolet Traverse, packing it in the back. Going back inside he quickly jotted down his daughters schedule for the day, and a number to reach him at ect. Running back out to the car he placed the folded piece of papers in the diaper bag. Angle already had his work stuff sitting in his SUV. So now all he needed was his daughter. Running back upstairs to his little girls room, he stopped, just looking at his daughter, his most beautiful daughter.
Angel let a little chuckle out, she just made him so happy. Angel reached in the crib, and slowly lifted Charlotte out, and placed her upon the changing table to change her. Angel placed his daughter in a black onsie with little white skulls placed randomly about the onsie. Lucky Angle, Charlotte was still fast asleep. He then moved the little sleeping black hair blue eyed little girl into the car seat carrier next to the changing table. He buckled her safely in before placing a little pink blanket over her Charlotte to keep her warm, he also clipped a pacifier, on her onsie for later. He then proceeded to carry, her down stairs and out to the car, where he placed the car seat in its attachment part, safe and sound. Angel hoped in the front seat and turned on the car, and off they went. It was a bit on the early side, but he had to be at work at 7:45 am, it was now 6:30, the hospital being but 10 minutes away from where he was going. On the way Angel made a quick stop at Duckin Doughnuts to pick himself up a quick breakfast, which he ate on the way to Paul's home. Paul's parents agreed to watch Charlotte while he worked and went to classes. After another 10 minutes of driving Angel pulled into the Moran family driveway. Angel checked his watch and nodded a bit to himself 45 minutes until he had to leave. This was good. Paul would be watching Charlotte for the first couple hours, and Angel wanted to show him how to do a few things. Paul was really clueless when it came to baby's but then again, Paul was the only person who could watch Charlotte. Angel was not far away anyway, plus he had his cell phone on him, so Paul could always call if he had any problems.
Angel got back out of the car, unattached the car seat from its base, he lifted the car seat, Charlotte still sleeping away in it from the car. Angel softly closed the door, only to hear Charlotte make a little sigh like sound. Angel froze for a second looking down at Charlotte, who was still sleeping. She must be having a dream or something. Angel walked up the side walk to the front door, knocking on it lightly, hoping Paul was already up. Angel lifted the car seat up a little, looking at Charlotte, still fast asleep, He would have to wake her up to feed and change her early. Paul would need to see a master at work. Even know Paul knew nothing about the young girl, Angel still trusted that Paul would do the right thing. anyway he had Rachael and his parents if all else failed. Paul heard a car approach and wondered if it was Rachael's . . . but after glancing out the window and seeing not trace of her very obvious blue bug, he recognized the car as another friends: Angel Adams. Paul waited a few moments before hearing a faint knock on the door. He approached it, opening it immediately and giving Angel a bit of a smile. "Hey," he greeted, keeping his voice a little low for the noticed his daughter. Uh oh. His daughter. Now, Paul did not have anything against children, he just didn't know what to do with them. Angel would bring his daughter over at times, but Paul's parents were usually the ones to take care of her. Unfortunately . . . they were not home, and Paul was. Oh dear.
"Whats up?" He added, already uncertain how he was going to care for this child, considering the fact that he was completely incapable to do it all by himself. He would have to call for backup if necessary . . . which he was definitely thinking it was.

"Hey Paul!" AJ said with a smile as he stepped inside the home. "Nice to see you again. I trust everything is well?" Angel asked looking around for Paul's mother. Who did not seem to be home. Which was sort of expected. He just figured Paul would have known he was coming over. His parents seemed to forget to tell him. Not like this was the first time. "Nothing really. I just got work, then school. But other then that, nothing." Angel said putting the car seat down, next to the sofa. "How's life with you? And what are you doing up so early?" Angel asked, as he knelt down, so he could adjust the blanket covering his daughter. He really did wonder why Paul was up at such a time. Paul was young, younger then AJ, yet still, he did not expect seeing Paul up. But to each his own. Then again, when he was Paul's age he was still up at this time. Kinda staying up all night, sleeping all day. He would have most likely continued that sleeping habit, only an unexpected surprise came about. An unexpected surprise, yet the best surprise he could have ever wanted.. As he knelt there, he also adjusted the straps and such, trying to make it more.... comfortable for his little girl. Or well he did the best his could. A car seat was nothing like a bed. Then again, a mattress in a crib, was not so soft, rather hard. But that was expected. "I can see your parents are not home... Do you think you could watch Charlotte, until they get back?" AJ asked with a shrug. "If not, I could try and take off work..." AJ said, looking at the watch he wore upon his wrist. He could try to take off work, but he was not sure he could. His daughter was sick not that long ago, so it might not work, seeing as he took off quite some time not long ago. who knows. He would figure something out. He just had to.

Paul had not slept all night. He was tired, but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle. He would use the excuse that he was tired even if he slept for a full day . . . if it meant that he wouldn't be left alone with an infant. "Not a whole lot. Just working and hanging out," And spending a lot of my nights phasing into a wolf to protect La Push from blood sucking leeches. He still waiting for when he said he would have to leave his kid here. Paul was dreading those words. He watched him fiddle with the car seat, making his daughter more comfortable. If there was one thing Paul was impressed with, it was how well Angel took care of his daughter. Being a single father couldn't be easy, and that was part of the reason his parents helped him out as much as they could.
And there it was. The words he had been dreading. "They are gonna be gone all day. They went to some picnic type thing out of town." Shoot! Shoot! Shoot! Paul couldn't tell the guy to take the day off. Even judging from his tone, it sounded like an option that would be difficult. Besides, he probably needed the money to support his kid. Too bad Paul wasn't working today. Otherwise, he could have used that as an excuse. "Nah, its cool," he told him, staring at the child before shifting his gaze back to her father. "How late you working today?" How many hours would he have to watch her for?!

"Nice. nice." Aj said nodding his head to the whole hanging out thing. Oh how he missed those days. The days when he could just chill. The days were he could just do nothing, nothing at all. He missed when he did not have a small child, who has needs, needs that had to be met before AJ could met his own needs. Then again, Charlotte made his life worth living, so he owned her everything. He would gladly trade everything he owns and everything he had, to be as happy as he was when he was with Charlotte. Yeah he gets frustrated with her sometimes, but that would happen no matter what happened. When you live with someone, no matter who it is, there were bound to be fights. Only Charlotte could not talk back yet... So it was really one sided, or so he thought. He really had no idea, seeing as he can't read his daughters mind or anything.
"Gone all day? Really?" AJ asked, concern on his face. Oh well that was not good. He could not leave Paul here with Charlotte all day. Not alone at least. There was no way Paul could take care of Charlotte for a full 12 hours, not alone. He would never survive, never. Not that he did not believe in Paul or anything, but he knew Paul. He knew there were a thousand things Paul would rather be doing then taking care of his daughter. AJ only hoped that Charlotte would have a good day today. When Charlotte was in a good mood, it was just so easy to take care of her. In fact you just had to set her on the floor, and that was that. Though on bad days, she needed a lot of hugs and reassurance and such. So he just hoped that Charlotte was in a good mood.
"Ah Paul..." Angel said shaking his head a little. "I can't do that to ya. I work for 12 hours today. I can't ask you to watch her that long." Angel said taking out his phone, and searching through the numbers. There HAD to be someone, ANYONE in this town that could watch his small child. "I mean. How long can you watch her? A few hours? I can go in for a few hours. They will understand." Angel said. "They have to." He added under his breath, still searching his phone for someone ANYONE! He really really really really needed to get a day care or something like that. He cannot rely on Paul's parents this much. Today just goes to show that Paul's parents help him out way to much. Man. Angel was really stuck in between a rock and a hard place. A really really really hard place. Great. sometimes he hated his life. Then again this was not that bad. He had experienced worse. Paul could tell that he didn't want to leave his daughter with him for the whole day . . . and Paul didn't blame him. He didn't exactly have a 'kid-friendly' vibe to him, and if Angel hadn't known his family so well, Paul knew he would never consider letting him babysit. "Damn, that's a long shift," he said thinking aloud. Not only because he would have to be watching her. . . it just sounded like a lot of work. Paul watched him take out his phone and desperately search for someone else to watch Charlotte.
"Its alright," he assured him. "I'll get Rachael to come over, she's good with kids and I don't think she's busy today." He HOPED she wasn't busy today. "That way, if I need to pop out for a second," -- Patrolling -- "Then someone will always be here to keep an eye on her. And lets face it, she's better with kids than I am," he told him smirking, though it was entirely true and Paul had no trouble admitting it.

"No, Paul, that's life. Just wait until you get a job." AJ said with a small laugh. You see, he cannot really pick his hours. Well he can to a point. He normally does two or three 12 hour shifts, that way the rest of the week he can stay home with his little girl. If he did 8 hour shifts, he would be working 5 days a week, which was just not possible. He could not leave his child that long. Yeah no matter what he was leaving her 40ish hours a week, but it was better when you did not have to leave her everyday. "That's a good idea Paul. Why don't you go call her...?" Angel asked. "Well, unless its too early. I don't want you waking her up or anything." AJ added, slipping his phone back into his pocket. Though AJ did not know Rachael all that well, it was still an extra set of hands and eyes. "While you call her, I'll go finish bringing in her things..." Aj said, looking down at Charlotte, who was moving around more, meaning it was about time for her to wake up. Aj took the next few steps towards the door. "I only have a bin with toys, and her stroller, if you want to take her for a walk or something..." AJ said before leaving for the car. Seconds late Angel walked back into Paul's home with a folded stroller and a bin filled with toys and anything she would need. (Plus a few extra changes of clothing. You never know.) Aj set it down by the door, before heading right towards his slowly awakening daughter. Aj un-hooked her from the car seat with a small click picking her up swiftly. Waiting for her eyes to open.
