---Rosalie really hoped Edward heard that from down the steps! Maybe he would see how he was ruining what was supposed to be perfect! Or close to perfect. Bella's life was at risk but look at what they stood to gain! A baby! Something so perfect and wonderful and perfect!
---Rosalie shot a glare at the floor, and hoped Edward her thoughts as well. "Bella, perhaps with time?" Rosalie doubted it. Edward needed something to control it seemed. "Once the baby is here, how could he NOT love him? How could anyone not love this baby?"

Esme sighed and gave Bella an understanding look. "He'll come around hun," she told her, reaching out a hand and resting it on Bella's forearm. Esme hoped Edward would. He needed to be here for Bella, this was a very important part of both of their lives. Esme rubbed her cold hand up and down Bella's arm slowly, in comfort. "You can't stress yourself out too much Bella."
Esme turned to look at Rosalie, who looked both frustrated and ecstatic. Ecstatic about the baby, and frustrated about Edward, Esme assumed. "Yes, once the baby is here things will change," Esme replied, "If not sooner." She smiled warmly at Bella.

Bella smiled slightly. "He will have to love him," Bella said agreeing. She rubbed her little nudge slightly and couldn't help but to smile. She could feel him and that always brought a smile to her face. She just hoped in time, like Rosalie said, it would bring a smile to Edward's face.
"I hope it's sooner," Bella replied to Esme. It was a long shot as long as she was in danger Edward would be against it. But maybe that would change if he would just unfocused on how she was in danger. She was sure she could live through like Rosalie told her before. They had Carlisle the best doctor around with his help they would get through this.

---"Yes, he will come around, Edward just likes to be in control, and he's not now. Once he sees the baby, or see's it's going to be ok he will come around and fall in love with him. So, until then we have so much to do, and I doubt Edward is going to let us take Bella shopping!" Rosalie complained to no one and everyone, "We will need to much for the baby! Clothes, and toys, and little bitty shoes!"
---Rosalie knew of the little cottage Esme was working on as a wedding gift for Bella and Edward. They would need a baby room in that too! Oh! So much to do and shop for! She needed to spent what time she had learning about baby's, while the other learned about how to protect Bella from what might happened. Rose would try to do both, but she also wanted to know what was best for the baby.

Bella smiled at Rosalie. There were so many things a baby would need. And who knew how much time they actually had to get all. But she knew Rosalie would take care of all of it. She would make sure he baby had that best. "There is a lot that we need to get," Bella thought about all the things they would need. Cloths, shoes, diapers, bottles, the list goes on and on.

Esme's expression brightened, and her smile widening as Rosalie mentioned shopping for baby supplies. "We can do some shopping online," Esme suggested, though she was sure Rosalie had already thought of that. Whatever else they needed Esme would be sure to grab. Esme turned to look at Bella. "You don't need to worry about anything, hun, just tell us what you need and we'll take care of it," Esme told her.

---Rosalie nodded her head as Esme spoke, "Yes, on-line shopping will let us get what we need. It will not be as fun, but it will keep Edward from panicking." Rosalie mentally thought about getting Edward a shirt that said 'proud Father' just to be ironic. She wondered if he heard that.
---"Esme, we should find one that says 'Proud Grandmother' for you." Rosalie smiled, thinking of how the mental image that work 'grandmother' brought up was a old lady. "And I will bee a Proud Aunt one, and Bella will need a Proud Mother one..." Rosalie was thinking of all the fun aspects of a baby. It would be hard to ruin her good mood on this day, no matter how hard Edward seemed to be trying, with his plan to 'save Bella' by having Carlisle get rid of the baby.

Esme's expression brightened as Rosalie mentioned the idea of getting a "Proud Grandmother" t-shirt. "Better be fashionable one," she joked, "Or Alice will never let us out of the house." She pictured wearing a 'Proud Grandmother' t-shirt. She wondered what kind of looks she'd get with wearing it. It was nice to think of the happy aspects of this right now, they would deal with everything as it came. But for now, this worked.
"We need Carlisle to check you and the baby out Bella," Esme changed the subject. "We need to make sure all is well." She pushed herself off the bed. "Maybe I should go get him?"

Bella's faced brighten. She pushed back the negative thoughts of Edward not being apart of this. She knew he would soon, he had to. She smiled when Rosalie started talking about getting shirts for everyone. "This will be fun. I don't know to much about babies, but there is so many things they do need. I'm sure you two know all that we will need," Bella said assured that they would know everything. She had a few ideas, but never had to care for a baby before.
Carlisle would probably have to check on her soon. He hadn't seen checked on her yet and this was something that needed to happen. Not just for her own safety but for her baby's as well. "It would be a good idea to have Carlisle check me out. To make sure I'm doing all I can so that my baby will be healthy," Bella smiled looking at her little nudge.

Carlisle, left the conversation he was having with his son. He worried for Edward. He remembered all to well, sitting with his family in Edward's room after Edward had ran to Italy, in hopes of dying and not living with out Bella. Carlisle's greatest fear was losing both Edward and his newest daughter, Bella.
He walked to Rosalie's door knowing they would hear him approach. He stood there and took a long deep breath.He raised a hand to knock but paused. "Esme?" He asked softly. Bella might not be able to hear, but Esme would. "May I enter?"

Esme's attention turned away from the girls in front of her as she listened to Carlisle's approach. Her smile extended and she made her way to the bedroom door before answering her husband's barely audible question. "Yes, Carlisle," she muttered, putting her hand on the doorknob and opened it.
"We were just thinking of calling you up here," she explained, "We need you to check on Bella and the baby." She didn't worry about Carlisle, knowing he wouldn't do anything rash, anything to upset her. She trusted him enough to let him near Bella.

Carlisle smiled at her when she opened the door but his smiled faded when she spoke of Bella. He looked pasted Esme at Rosalie and Bella on the bed and knew that Bella was worried, and Rosalie was protective. He had once hoped Rosalie would come to want Bella here and welcome her family. It appeared he was getting his wish. "Yes, I need to see what I can." He spoke but made no move to go to Bella. He was not going to approach Bella until Rosalie knew he meant no harm, and until he knew how he was going to handle this.
Looking back at Esme, he knew how he would treat this. She would stand beside Bella, and he would stand beside Esme. He just needed to find the strength needed to help Edward though this. "What do you think of this?" He asked, knowing her answer already.

Esme watched as the smile that was adorned on her husband's stunning face just seconds ago faded. She watched as he glanced at their daughters and back at her. She felt her lips turn slightly in a frown as he asked his question. With a sigh, she answered, "Carlisle. It's what Bella wants. I'm not going to take away this baby of hers."
Of anyone, next to Rosalie, Esme knew Carlisle would understand. He knew of her past before the rest of them, he had been the first one she had confided it all in. And he had witnessed what the loss of her child had done to her, he had been the one to take her battered body from the morgue.

”I know.” He said, however knowing and supporting where two different things. Looking back at Esme, he knew however he would support Bella, even if it meant doing this blindly. Dropping his voice so low Bella would not be able to hear, “How is her spirits?” He wanted to know what to expect from Bella. If she was worried, he knew stress could make it hard for the baby. If she was frightened, then he needed to handle her with more care.
She did not look traumatized. She looked, happy. Maybe that was the emotion he was trying to place. Worried, yes, but happy.

"She's worried about Edward," Esme responded back in the same, hushed, barely audible tone of Carlisle's. She gave her husband one pained look as she thought of her son, of what he was going through down there, but then turned away.
"Bella," she said, her gold eyes focusing on her newest daughter, "Carlisle's here to check on you and the baby." The announcement was unnecessary, Bella was sure to have noticed Carlisle enter the room, but she wanted to keep Bella in the know. Turning back to Carlisle with a smile she reached a hand out and wrapped it around his upper arm, giving him a slight squeeze before returning to the bed to sit beside the girls.

---Rosalie watched Carlisle and Esme talk and slid closer to Bella. She didn't look away from Carlisle, as she spoke to Bella. "I can go with you if you want." Rosalie trusted Carlisle. She knew he would never hurt Bella. But not hurting Bella, and doing something that would safe her life were two different things. Rosalie was not sure, if she trusted Carlisle not to act as he thought best. He would do it out of love for Bella, but right now, Bella needed more then guarding from everyone's love. Bella needed someone to love the baby more then her, and guard it over her life. That was Rosalie's job.

Bella looked at Rosalie as she spoke to her. Would Carlisle try to take the baby out of her like Edward wanted. Would he think that's what would be best, or would he simply check on her baby. Would he just make sure he was okay, that his growth was alright, even thought it was at a rapid pace.
She glanced at Carlisle unsure of what he would do, he wouldn't take her baby away would he? But if she had Rosalie with her there was a greater chance that wouldn't happen.
No matter what she may go through, as Rosalie had said they had a good doctor and things would turn out for the better. The new little of what to expect from this baby and it would be new. Bella nodded her head, "yes."

---Rosalie took Bella's hand and then looked over at her parents. "I will stay with Bella." She told them, wondering how they would react. Rosalie's eyes watched them both, thinking Esme would understand, and hoping Carlisle would agree. If he did not she would just go with Bella anyway, but his agreeing would be both a good sign and make this easier.
