Bella nodded thoughtfully. She didn't want her family to be so divided, but she wasn't going to let them harm this baby and Rose wasn't either.
Bella thought about her symptoms. "Well," Bella started. "I've been sleepy, hungry, getting sick..." that's all she's been doing lately. Sleeping or eating and then getting sick it definitely wasn't pleasant being pregnant.
[[I'm just usuing symptoms that were in the book. I really don't know much about pregnancy so if you think there should be more symptoms just let me know.]]

---Rose looked at the computer and gave a hmmmm, followed by a mmhhmmm. "I think Bella, that we are going to need Carlisle to be sure. It seems to very in different women."
---"However, I would guess you were, three months on or more." Rose pulled her head back. "Which means either the baby is growing very very fast, or," Rose had the grace to blush and speak kindly, "or you were sleeping with my brother, Before your honeymoon."
{{Honestly, I doubt Rose or Bella would know any more then you or I do, so even if we get it wrong, so would they. }}

Bella blushed slightly, "You're brother and his morals." Bella remembered many times she tried seduce him, but they all failed. And then when he wanted to she made him stop. Responsibility was what she was thinking about. "Trust me that didn't happen.
"That is fast just a week or two and already three months!" Bella was amazed at how fast her baby was growing. Would she even have a month before she gave birth?

Rose said, "Not that he would do anything to hurt you, but I don't want him to get to worried and think the best way to protect you would be to 'get the baby out' like Edward said. We will have to wait and see."
---Rose closed the window and her desk top background was a photo of her and Emmett in black and white, taken many years ago. They were all big smiles and happy, arms wrapped around each other. "Edward and his morals! He thinks to much sometimes." Rose loved her brother, but sisters were allowed to see flaws in there oh to perfect brothers.

"I hope we don't have to wait to long," Bella sighed. She hoped whatever they were talking about down there was getting to Rose's and her side. But no matter who's side they chose their's or Edward's she would protect the baby. She grabbed hold her her stomach and felt him move. She smiled in response.
"No matter what happens I know it'll be worth it," Bella said this with a smile. No matter how much they would fight over this in the end she knew it would be well worth it.

---Reaching out slowly Rose covered Bella's hands with her own. "Yes, He will be." Then she smiled brightly, "An Aunt! I am going to be an Aunt!" She laughed, "I am very excited. I can see why Edward is worried but honestly, you would think he would a little happy about this!" Rose moved her hand back, and put the computer back on the desk leaving the background there as if it was a photo frame. "We have so much shopping that we need to do, and he is not going to let us even try to do it!"

Esme listened to the conversation happening in front of her, downstairs in her own home. It seemed as though they were having to pick sides on this, and before Esme had even heard the other side, she knew which one she would belong to.
Bella's. Esme knew what it was like to lose a child. And she would not let one of her daughters go through that pain. No matter how early in the pregnancy it was that Carlisle and Edward terminated it, it would surely cause Bella unfathomable grief. Not only that, but it was what Bella wants. There was no way Esme could go against her.
While Esme was around Edward she was careful not to voice her side in her mind, keeping it completely void of whose side she would chose, not that he'd hear it anyway. He was far too worried about Bella. It pained Esme to have to go against him, and any of their family, but she knew who's side she needed to be on.
Between the planning and conversing Esme excused herself. She flew up the stairs at her natural speed. She was sure that Rosalie had heard her approach, but knocked anyway. "It's me," she whispered through the door.

---Rose gave Bella a smile and then spoke, "Come in Esme." Once the door was open, "We were just trying to express our happiness over the baby." Rose did not mean for it to sound like a warning. Rose knew Esme would never plan to hurt Bella, no matter what side she choose but Rose still felt very protective. Rose hoped Esme would understand that, and tried to sound calmer when she spoke next, "How mad is Edward at us?"

Esme quietly opened the door and slid into the room, closing the door behind her. She smiled at the two girls in front of her. "You have every reason to be happy about this," she assured Rose and Bella.
"How are you feeling Bella?" she asked before Rosalie could ask her own question. Before Bella could respond Esme turned to answer Rose's. Her face fell a little bit as she thought back to how Edward was. "I think he's more worried than mad, at least in Bella's case," Esme told her, "He's furious with you Rose. I think he feels betrayed."

"Esme," Bella started. She wanted to know if there was any chance that Edward might change his mind. Knowing how against the baby and how worried he was for her affected her. She loved him so much and wanted him to share this joy she was feeling. "Do you know if Edward might be accept this baby," Bella touched he belly with one hand while she said baby.

Esme sighed out of habit and looked down at Bella. Her face was slightly saddened as she spoke. "Edward cares a lot about you Bella," she said quietly, "He doesn't care to like anything that'll hurt you." She took a couple steps further into the room, so she wasn't so close to the door.
"Though, with that said, I think there is still hope," she added with a smile. Certainly if Bella could make it through the pregnancy, Edward would accept the baby. It was just now, he was worried about Bella's well being.
Esme had high hopes that Bella was strong enough to make it through the pregnancy they all knew very little about, Bella was a strong girl. But there was still the possibility of it not working, but Esme would not dwell on that right now. Not when Bella looked healthy and happy.

---It was not the first time Edward would have that feelings. It was the first time Rose was not even a little sorry! He could thank her later! She was fighting for his son! "Of course there is hope! It's his baby, he will be worried until it's over with and then fall in love with his son like all men do." At lest in normal babies, there was still the mystery of the half human half vampire child. "We just have to make sure he dose not do anything rash. Something he will regret."
---Rose was sitting next to Bella on the bed, and she reached over and padded the bed on Bella's other side, so Esme would feel welcome and come sit with them. "Until then, don't worry about anything Bella, It can't be good for the baby. I will take care of everything. Esme can help us, too." Rose looked to Esme and hoped she had read the words right and that Esme was happy and supportive of the baby.

Bella didn't know that much about pregnancy, but from what she did know. She knew that being worried and stressed out was bad for the baby. Bella took a deep breath and tried not to think of the others right now. She focused on the future her perfect little boy who would look just like Edward she didn't want to mess him up with her being imperfect Edward would be just as happy as she was. She knew he would, she had to believe he would. Just like Rose said.
"I won't worry about that right now," Bella said still thinking of the future she hoped to have. All the Cullen's around helping taking care of her son, all so happy and full of joy. No doubt that she wouldn't survive this. She wanted this future vision of hers to come true. She sighed looking at Rose and Esme knowing with these two on her side she would have that future.

"I don't think he'll do anything rash," Esme said, walking to sit on the bed where Rosalie had gestured. "And I'm sure he will love the baby," she added with a smile. As she sat she put her hands in her lap. She wasn't sure how this was all going to turn out, but again, she had high hopes it would all be fine.
"Yes, Bella, don't worry about a thing," Esme told her, reaching out a hand and setting it on Bella's arm. "I will assist Rose and you in whatever you need me to do." She smiled at both Rosalie and Bella.
"We're going to have a baby in this house shortly," she said enthusiastically. Esme's face was glowing at the thought of it. She would be a grandmother. "Wow, you and Edward are making me feel old," she said, "And I've never felt old in my many years."
Her head swam through all the things they would need for the new baby. They didn't know much about how the baby would be, more human or more vampire? But they could at least get the necessities they knew they would need for now.

---"Your going to be the prettiest grandmother, ever Esme!" Rose said to her with a smile, She saw her self as the prettiest aunt, of course. "With Esme helping us, we can have a better handle on your needs, Bella! So relax and let us help you with whatever you need!" She smiled brighter then, and her eyes went to Bella's face, "Hmmm, I wonder if the baby will have Edward's hair, or Bella's eyes...." Rose brushed Bella's hair back when she said it out loud, as if looking at the possibilities.
---Rose paused for a moment, not knowing one detail of Edward's past, "Esme, what color were Edwards eyes, when he was human? I am trying to blend the features in my mind." She was also wondering if the baby might have red eyes, let so many other 'newborns'. "Do you think Carlisle will help us, help the baby and Bella, or will he want to take Edwards side?"

Bella smiled she knew both Rose and Esme would take great care of her child. "I can't believe all of this is happening!" Bella said happily this is the best thing that's ever happened besides Edward, but even then it was hard to choose which was the best. She looked at Rose as she tried to picture her future child. She remembered Carlisle telling her that Edward had green eyes when he was human. She smiled trying to picture her baby just as Rose was a little Edward perfect in every way.
"Edward had green eyes," Bella said answering Rose's question. Bella could see him her perfect little baby boy growing up with her family. No danger, no worrying, just pure joy that he would bring.

Esme smiled at Bella as she answered the questions she was about to answer. She turned toward Rosalie, "Yes, Bella is right, green eyes." Esme only knew from what she had been told by Carlisle.
"I'm sure Carlisle will help us," Esme told her. Carlisle would do what Esme asked him to. And they needed Carlisle's help to make sure this pregnancy was successful. She wondered how much longer everyone downstairs would be talking and attempting to make a plan, Carlisle should look over Bella soon.

---Rose wanted to ask Esme questions about women who were carrying babies, and about what to look for but knew of Esme's painful past. She did not want to bring it up and cause Esme any pain. So, she tried to be tactful. "Esme, I was trying to help Bella guess how far along she is by the feelings she is having. We are guessing three months."
---Rose watched Esme's face to make sure it was ok to make connections or at lest as the one of them that had experience. "Could you help us make sure it's correct. The more we know, the more we can be prepared when we talk to Carlisle."

Esme could see that Rosalie was trying to be careful with her words. She gave Rosalie a confidant smile. Talking about her past now wasn't as hard as it was early on. She had come to terms with the passing of her son, and was now glad that she could use her experience to assist Bella.
"Pregnancies were dealt with differently when I was pregnant," she started, "We didn't have the technology we do now, and I didn't know I was pregnant until I could actually feel movement and my stomach started to grow." She recalled the human memories she had, some of them were cloudy, but others were clearer because she had constantly reminded herself of them in her decades of life.
"But once I did start to feel movement and notice the growing of my baby, it was about five or so months before he was born," she told them. Of course the gestation of her baby wasn't for sure nine months, her experience at least gave them something to go off of. Esme turned to Bella. "Can you feel movement?" she asked with a warm smile.

Bella smiled back at Esme, "Yes." Bella could feel movements when she had first talked to Carlisle about it. She didn't think she could already be five months that was way to fast. "Five months?" Bella questioned out her own thoughts. She hoped Esme was okay with talking about this since she did lose her son.

---"I felt the baby too!" Rose said like a little girl at Christmas time. "Bella let me put my hand to her belly and I could feel the baby, slightly move and push! He must me so strong now!"
---"Bella and I were thinking she might be about three months, but adding in what your saying she could be about four months along." Rose thought for a short half second, "Which means the baby is growing, extremely fast." Rose wondered if that was a good thing, or a bad thing. On one hand, if the pregnancy was what had killed the other months, quickly would be better. On the other, if the delivery was what did it, then slower might give them more time to handle it.
---Rose was glad that her thoughts had went to Bella staying alive. With her past record she knew that most would believe she was only after the baby. The baby was her priority, in many ways. She would do as she promised and fight to keep the baby safe and alive. However, she didn't exactly want Bella's death either.

Esme smiled hugely at Rosalie's ecstatic words about being able to feel the baby move. "It's an amazing thing, isn't it," she said. Esme faintly remembered the movement she felt when she was pregnant. It was many years ago, and her human memories were tainted with a blurry veil, but she could still remember the feeling.
"Yes, four months along, give or take some," Esme murmured to Rosalie. She turned her attention to Bella with a serious expression on her face. "You make sure you feel that baby move at least a couple times daily," she told her. It was necessary that the Bella felt the baby move daily now that she could feel movement. Esme was already being protective of her unborn grandchild.
"We'll need to talk to Carlisle soon," Esme voiced her thoughts. Carlisle would need to look Bella and the baby over, to make sure all was well. Esme tuned her advanced hearing toward the vampires downstairs, from the sound of things they were still conversing, but they had given up on creating a plan.

Bella nodded at Esme she looked at her little nudge. How she hoped things would turn out for the best, she knew they would. "Do you think the others will be on our side?" Bella questioned both Esme and Rosalie she wasn't sure. She hoped they would understand what this child would mean to everyone.

---As she had told Bella before, if Esme sided with them, then they would have the stronger vote. Not that Rose was letting this come to a vote. That silly stunt was not going to happen. Carlisle would follow Esme. Emmett, who knew what this meant to Rose, would side with Rose.
---Alice was the only wild card and she was acting very off at the moment. Saying she was having trouble seeing. She was unsure. She knew how the rest of them felt now.

Esme let her head fall a small amount at Bella's question. Esme hadn't put much thought into this, she wasn't really sure if the others would take her side. But she knew Carlisle and Emmett would not go against herself and Rosalie. So that left Edward, Alice, and Jasper. Edward wouldn't do anything to hurt Bella, but he also wouldn't stand for siding with anything that could possibly hurt Bella. It was hard to say.
She looked up slightly as Rosalie spoke and then added her own comment. "Yes, I am here for you, and Carlisle will be too," she added.

Rose had not forgotten, however, she wanted this more then she had wanted almost anything. A baby! Not her's but as close as she would come. She could help Bella do everything!
---"Esme, we have decided to lie to Charlie, and tell him Bella is sick with something rare." Rose filled her in, "With Carlisle helping us, perhaps it will look more real with his knowledge."

Bella tried to smile knowing that things were looking good for their side. But Edward was her worry. She was barley listening to the two talk about how they were going to tell Charlie she had a rare illness. Bella wanted more anything for Edward to be on her side because he wanted to. Because he wanted to share in the joy this child would bring. To be happy that he was going to have a child. Much to everyone's surprise a vampire having a biological child. She wanted him with her now helping her plan what they would need to do. Instead of fighting downstairs with the side that would take away her joy, her baby.
She didn't say anything about what she was thinking or who. She listen as Esme and Rose told her who would be on her side. Only Jasper, Alice, and Edward were to worry about. She frowned at the thought of Edward hoping he would understand what this baby meant to her and what it should mean to him.

Esme turned to Rose. "I forgot about Charlie," she said in a quiet voice. She hated to have to lie to Charlie, but what else could they do? "That would be the best," she said, "We can't have Charlie coming to see you now Bella." She turned to look at the now silent Bella.
"Is something wrong Bella?" she asked in response to Bella's frown.

---Rosalie had been to caught up with the going ons in her head to notice Bella's silence until Esme spoke to her. Rose looked over and could guess every well what was wrong. Edward. He nearly ruins everything, with his higher then noble approach to things.
---Rose glanced past Bella and Esme to her laptop and the old photo of her self and Emmett. She thought of a baby with parts of her and Emmett. His curls, her chin, his smile, her flawlessness. But there would never be no baby with a perfect smile, and curls. Not for Rosalie. She looked back at Bella and waited for her to speak. "Are you getting worried?"

Bella looked at both Esme and Rosalie when she spoke. "It's Edward. I want him to be happy about this. To be apart of the joy that he should have with me," She knew that they would understand what she meant. Even though this was her joy she wasn't completely happy unless Edward was also with her being happy.
