Bella couldn't believe what was happening she grabbed her stomach her little nudge. She wanted her child so badly more than she could even breath. She couldn't believe Edward wanted to get 'it' out of her. Edward had left to make phone calls so they could leave as soon as possible.
Bella held the phone and dialed Rosalie's number. She had to protect her baby.

---Rose had not been home when Alice had called Edward, and everyone in the house had found out about the baby. Rose had been driving home from shopping. She was not in the know.
---When her phone rang she turned down the music and picked up her phone not glancing up at the road speeding by at over a hundred miles an hour. Edward was calling her while on his honeymoon?
---Nothing more then shock, and worry something was very wrong, made Rose answer, "Edward?"

Bella took a deep breath before she spoke. "No, it's Bella" she tried to keep her voice calm. "I need your help."
Bella took another breath the explain her unique situation. "I'm pregnant, the word still sounded strange in mouth. "Edward said he was going to him out of me," she remembered her dreams she was so sure it was going to be a boy. She had wanted to badly to protect him and she couldn't do it alone. "Will you help me?"

---The car came to a stop with in seconds causing the car behind her to blare it's horn. "Your....I'm sorry Bella, did you say..." But Bella HAD said. A baby! Rose felt a moment of blind rage. Bella could have a baby!?! Then it hit her what Bella said about Edward.
---"Get it out?" Rose repeated more for her own mind them to Bella. "Why would he--Oh..." Rose knew. "It's not one hundred percent human."
---A plan formed. "Bella, I've not been anyone you could call friend, but if you come to Forks, come back to Forks, I will not let Edward hurt the baby." Rose had not said ;hurt you' because of what Rose remembered was true, the baby would do enough hurting for everyone when it came to Bella.

Bella smiled slightly, "Thank you Rose." Bella glanced at the door she knew Edward would be up here soon she just hoped he didn't hear her conversation with Rose. "We're leaving, I'll see you in Forks," Bella spoke quietly and quickly and hung up. She knew Rose had heard her. She stood up and looked at her bags it was packed and ready to go.
The trip seemed to be short, but Bella for the most part was asleep. Her thoughts often drifted to Rose she hoped she had said she wouldn't let Edward do anything. She was the only person she could think to turn to.

---Rose might not be the most caring person when it came to others, but everyone who knew Rose knew that there was one thing she would do anything for. A baby. Rose could not have a baby. She would never hold a son that looked like Emmett and watch him grow old.
---But Bella could. Bella could have a baby and Edward was not going to take anyone's baby away from them! Rose would fight to the death first. She knew it just might come to that. So when they all stood at the airport, waiting for Bella and Edward to arrive, Rose stood very close to Emmett, and when Bella got off the plane and went straight to Rose's arms, Rose leaned them both closer to Emmett.
---It was unfair to pit Emmett against his brother, but Rose was pulling no stops for the baby she could never have...
---"Bella is going to rise with me and Emmett and Esme." Rose said as she, picked Bella up and carried her, backing away from Edward and the others. It would be a tense ride. But once home, Rose got Bella to her and Emmett's room and shut the door. She could hear Edward and the others talking, and debating and plotting a floor below. "This is not going to be easy."

"I know, Bella said unhappy. How were they going to do this. She didn't want to hurt Edward, but she wasn't going let him take away her and his baby. He should care about his own child. He would see that this was worth it. She had never really seen herself as a mother, it wasn't until this little nudge form did she really want it.
"Edward's going to be difficult about this," Bella said remembering his reaction to the news.

If she is with us, then he will be two, against any other judgment he might have."
---Rose looked down at Bella's belly. "The few things we've learn about them...about the special babes, is that they grew very fast....Can you feel him?" Rose was for once in awe of something rather then in envy. Yes, she envied Bella, and yes she the baby would be her number one concern but....to be a Mother. Rose wanted it more then anything.

Bella knew Edward was doing this to protect her. He loved her and didn't want any harm to come to her. The odds sounded in their favor she didn't think Edward would go up against Esme. She wasn't to sure one how Carlisle will feel about it, but knew he wouldn't want to fight over it.
Bella put a hand to her stomach, "I can." Bella smiled as she looked at her nudge she loved and wanted to protect. "Maybe you could fee him," Bella said quietly wondering if she would want to feel the movements of the baby they were protecting.

---Was Bella offering what Rose thought Bella was offering? Rose was very shocked. After everything she had put Bella though it was shocking that not only would Bella trust her this way but let her share in on the joy. "May I try?" Rose asked holding out her hand but not moving closer, just to make sure.
---"Where should I place my hand?" She asked still waiting for Bella's approval, at the same time not being able to hold back the excitement of getting to be part of this. No human would let someone like her, like all of them near any child of theirs. It was instinct to protect the young.

Bella smiled at Rose she knew she always wanted to have a child. This was the closes thing she would ever have. And she knew Rose would help her keep him. She couldn't live without him, not now.
Bella grabbed Rose's hand and placed it on her little nudge. Her hands were cold as expected, but Bella didn't mind the cool contact. She looked at Rose's face for her reaction. "Can you feel him?" Bella asked a few seconds later.

---Rose was very afraid of hurting the baby some how by touching to hard. If it had been just Bella, Rose would have been careful but not panicky. "Let me know if I am to rough, or press to hard." Rose told Bella in a tone that show both worry and authority.
---Pressing ever so slightly Rose waited for a moment before feeling something movie. Her eyes light up and her voice went soft and a smile broke on her face. "He moves!" OH! They were going to need so much stuff! Edward would never let Bella leave, but they could shop on-line later!

"I will, Bella said as Rose touched her belly carefully. Bella saw Rose's eyes light up as she smiled. Bella couldn't help but to widen her smile she was glad to have someone share this joy with her. Edward hadn't been to happy this made her frown slightly. And how fast this happened shouldn't she be several months down instead of mere days?
"At least I have one person who's as happy as me," Bella spoke softly.

---Rose's smile became sad. "I know I have given you reason in the past to doubt this but I do love my brother greatly. I know he is only worried about you. Maybe given time...." But Rose doubted it. She had seen his face. He was very against this idea. Most of them were.
---Rose wanted to keep her hand on the baby for longer, but didn't want to risk hurting him until he was bigger so let her hand fall away, "I am thrilled. You know....Everyone knows, that a baby is the one thing I hated to give up. I would never have chosen this life for me. I thought this was something you would have to give as well. I am very happy you did not and the family will have a baby in it!"

"I know he'll love him," Bella said it had to be true, "eventually." Bella didn't know what would happen to her in the next weeks or how long this pregnancy would last. It had been mere days in what should have have been months. This worried her some she had no idea what to expect.
"I never thought I would have wanted a child," Bella admitted. "But after feeling him. I knew I couldn't live without him. Rose," Bella paused for a moment. "No matter what happens be sure that nothing happens to my baby. I don't know what to expect if I'll get sick or what."

But the only story's they have found have been--" Rose tiled her head and wondered if she should warn Bella or protect her from worry. Bella was glad to hear that from Rose. She knew Rose would protect her baby even from Edward. She loved Edward, but he didn't understand how important this child was. She placed her hand on her stomach to feel it.
Bella wanted to know everything what to expect what would happen. "I want to know everything," Bell said looking at Rose.

---Rose knew that the worry could be bad for the baby. After Bella had called her Rose had looked up on-line and learned what she could of humans and pregnant females. She knew allot of worry would be bad for the baby. However she also wanted to be the one to tell Bella the story's so when Edward tired to use them against Bella, to scare her into giving up the baby, Bella would already know them and have heard them with Rose's positive spin to them.
---"Non of the mothers have survived, but only because they all seem to be tribal women who tried to give birth in mud huts were it was clean and had no medicines!"
---Rose's face went a bit softer, truly not wanting Bella in pain but willing to risk it for the baby, "They say it's very painful, the pregnancy, because the baby is strong like us."

Bella thought about that for a few minutes before she said anything. If they baby is as strong as vampires it was no wonder all of the mothers had died. But maybe with the right medicine and with the good doctor she had she could make it through. But even with all of that was there a chance she would die. Would she be willing to give her life for he child? She clutched her stomach, yes she would. But could she leave Edward? She didn't know that answer she had to survive for her husband and child.
"Even with Carlisle is there a chance that I won't make it?" Bella wanted to know the truth to know how good of a chance she had.

---------The answer was yes there was a risk; being none of them knew what to expect, but Rose was not telling her that. "There is a risk with ANY pregnancy, Bella. This one is just a higher risk, but we have more knowledge then the silly women who tried it out in the dirty rooms with doctors telling them the pain was what they earned from their sins!"---Rose did worry for Bella but surely the risk was valid. "All the babies came away fine." Except for being burned almost immediately but that was not risk to Bella's baby. Bella felt a little better knowing that the risk was slightly higher she knew she would make it through and she would have her family with through all of this. At least she hoped the rest of her family would come around.
Bella smiled at hearing that all of the babies made it through. She wonder how much like a human and how much like a vampire they were. "Do you know what we should expect from the baby?" Bella asked wanting to know more. That always seemed to be her problem she wasn't satisfied with brief amount of information she wanted to know the whole deal.

---Rose reached out, hesitated a moment then put her hand on Bella's arm in a sigh of comfort. "But we are not backwoods fools! We know better, and we will protect this baby, and learn what we can before he comes into this world. That is the plus side of not sleeping. You have more time to handle this type of stuff." Rose smiled slowly. "I'll have Emmett help us." Because Emmett would always take her side in something like this.

Bella was quite for a moment thinking about Rose's answer. Would her baby be a blood thirst monster like a newborn vampire? Would it be human in any way? If all of the babies where killed how where they to know what to expect. She quickly vanished the thought and looked at Rose. She knew Rose would do everything she could to protect her baby and make sure he was safe.
Bella tried smiling, "How fast is this pregnancy? How long will I be pregnant?" Bella was still amazed at how quickly she had this little nudge it's been what a week. She continued to hold her stomach as she listened to Rose's answer.

Bella nodded in understanding they didn't know exactly what to expect. And this was going be a fast pregnancy, but painful. Bella looked toward the door wondering what the others where talking about, where they going to agree with Rose?
"Should I have anything special other than what a normal pregnant women would need?" Bella knew that women usually took in more nutrition when pregnant would she?

---"We are going to give you the best of everything. Vitamins, and food and everything you could want or need. We will make sure you and the baby lack nothing." But they didn't know what she would need, what the baby would need. "We do, however need to talk about Charlie, when your mind stops spinning." Having the police bang on the door and drag a very pregnant human out of the house and letting the baby out of Rose's sight was not happening. "We need to stall him from coming to look for you."

Bella's honeymoon was on a tropical island she could have gotten some rare disease. "We could tell him I'm sick with some kind of tropical disease," Bella suggested trying to think of a way to tell her father. "It could have happen," Bella had heard of people getting sick in the tropics so she was sure her father would believe her story. Carlisle could even call him to make it more believable.

"That is very true," Bella said agreeing she always the worst of luck and Charlie would believe it. "Does that mean they are finished discussing it?" Bella asked a bit unsure.
Bella perked up she wonder how along he was. She didn't really know that much about pregnancy she looked at the laptop and wonder how far long she was.

If she took Edward's then Rose knew she might not be able to protect the Baby. If Esme took Bella's then they had a fighting change. Carlisle would not go against Emse. Emmett would not go against Rose.
---Changing the topic back to the baby Rose point at the screen. "What are some of the symptoms you are feeling? That will help us guess at how far along you are."
