Dyami hated technology. It wasn't a passionate hate but more of a casual annoyance of it. He did not see why every week there had to be a new cell phone or a small and better computer. Apparently if size mattered, small was the new impressive. Dyami was standing very still while just looking deep into the screen trying to figure out why the new aged computer was not working; as if it would magically start working if he stared it down. Not that you could tell he was feeling annoyed. His face held it's normal calm appearance, as if he was just deep in thought rather then annoyed and wishing he could just send it back to the store. His pack had promised him it would help keep up with inventory, but before you could keep up with car parts, or labor hours or even have hidden files on the pack you had to turn it on.
Dyami was in the front of 'The Shop', the junk yard looking jack-of-all-trades style business that Dyami used to make the money needed to appear legal. It also helped when it was time to feed the pack boys he was Alpha over. Because both Dyami and the pack ate allot.

Seth, in all his six foot brown-haired glory, strode happily along the street in the Makah Reservation. It was a beautiful day, the sun was strong and warm and the russet wolf skin glowed. It had been the first opportunty he'd had in a long time to break free of La Push and wander around another place. He was in his happy place, revelling in the brightness of the unexpected sun as well as the unexpected freedom. The usual clangle and jingles of the market place rang around the big stone square. Seth was almost overwhelmed by the number of people yelling in his ear about discounts or special offers. The smell of luscious perfumes and the stink of overripe fruit filled the air. The hustle and bustle of the people made the market busy. Everybody had a mission, the old lady wanted some of those kiwi's for her grandchildren, the heavily pregnant lady wanted some early toys fo her unborn child. Seth wasn't looking for any supernatural scents, he had merely enjoyed the stalls foody smells when something caught his eye. Or should it be his nose? It wasn't deathly sweet, like a vampire, but more like the woody smells of his brothers. Except he was sure it wasn't any of his brothers. Who, what, could this be?

Leah had been walking further down the street then Seth, but she had noticed the scent to. The wind had been blowing but now it was still, which meant whoever the scent came from was down wind of them and knew they were here by now. Leah looked back at Seth (it was hard to miss him in this crowd) before looking back to where the scent was coming from.
There was a pack of wolves in the Neah Bay. Leah knew there was almost never just one, even if her picked up the scent of only one. What if they had more then one? More then two? Seth and her could be walking into something very dangerous.
Leah didn't go to the Cullens often but she tired to causally take in her scent to see if she could smell them on her, before looking back at Seth. Would they smell them on Seth?
Looking back down to the junk yard were the scent was coming from, Leah had a quick debate with her self before walking over to Seth and speaking very low in the language of their people. "Stay here. I want to go check it out." She wasn't an alpha and knew she couldn't boss Seth around, but she didn't want him in danger. Besides, she was girl and she was hopeing they wouldn't pick up on her being a wolf. After speaking with Seth, Leah started walking very humanly to the Junk yard. [Seth! Feel free to disobey and follow her! Leah just likes to boss Seth around.]

A few moments ago, Dyami had caught a faint scent, and it was growing stronger. It held the earthly woodland smell of wolves. He would have known if someone had joined his pack for someone would have come howling to get his attention, and the scent--no, the scents--where coming from the town, not the woods. Plus they held the slightly human scents mixed in with them, which meant two wolves in human forms were walking around the town that he had the job of protecting. This did not bode well.
Were could another pack come from? How away had they traveled and the more pressing question that came to his mind was--were they here in peace or a hunting party?
Dyami walked out of the shop, and across the yard. The shop was fenced in, to make it hard to see in or out side the walls of the junk yard, in case a new pack brother could not yet control him self. Dyami walked to the edge of the fence and looked out, and down the street that lead into the small town.
He picked the boy out instantly. Like Dyami and the wolves of the bay, he stood out taller then the rest, a foot taller then most around him. The girl beside him, who was tall but not towering over the masses, seemed worried and on edge; but Dyami paid her no mind as he was looking for the other wolf. Were would he be hiding and why? What were they up to?

Seth saw Leah bounding up to him and he immediately concentrated on her. The scent would distract him when they were talking if he wasn't focused. He had a small idea of what she was going to say and sure enough, she wanted him to stay behind. At least she was quicker than him, she could definately outrun whatever was there. "Sure, I'll look out for a wolf," He said under his breath. She walked away and Seth scanned the people in the immediate area. Some of the market-place shoppers were tall by human standards, but none of them showed any other signs of being shape-shifters. Then his eyes caught and held a man who fit the scent, Seth knew immediately that this was a werewolf. They had stumbled into big trouble here, if another pack was guarding this town then they probably wouldn't take well to a visitor. Seth tried to imagine how Sam would take it if two stray wolf's stumbled across La Push. Not very well. At least they wouldn't be expecting Leah, right? Leah was an anomaly, and he wouldn't have to fight alone if it came to that. Speaking of Leah...He darted forward in a very agile movement and whispered in her ear. "The guy leaning on the fence," he told her.

Leah felt more then heard Seth come up quickly behind her. She bit back the comment of Seth not knowing what sit and stay meant, while she looked ahead. Fine, if Seth wanted to come along, he could come along. It would at lest keep her from wondering what trouble he could get into alone. Speaking very low, she hoped no one (the wolf ahead) would hear. "Lets go talk to him. Don't admit to being a wolf, until he does. We don't know friend from foe here and if it gets dangerous, you leave first."
Leah looked over at the wolf in human form and watched him for a moment before speaking louder, but not yelling. It was as if she wanted the wolf to over hear her comments now. Leah hoped Seth would catch one. She would pretend to be human, be the wild card. If things were gonna turn into a fight they wouldn't see this coming. It was the benefit to being the freak. "Should we go say Hi?" Leah then stepped to the side, and slightly behind Seth as if HE was the leader and not her.

He could feel her hesitate as he came up behind her and then relaxed. He interpreted it as sisterly overprotection dominated and then the desire for back-up won out. She whispered to him and he nodded, taking it all in. "I'm not leaving you alone with a guy the size of that," He whispered back. "We run together." She spoke louder then, lot's of humans within two feet must ahve heard her. Certainately, the guy by the fence had. "Sure," He said, nothing like being open and friendly about intentions to start a relationship. He smiled at her behind his shoulder, he had guessed what she was doing. The element of surprise was the best weapon. Seth began to walk over to the wolf, all the while praying that it wouldn't turn into a fight. At least this guy was looked mature. It was a hope of his that they all wouldn't explode into wolf form in the middle of the street.

Dyami wondered how much the girl knew. He watched her step behind the wolf warrior and he felt rather then saw that there was something odd behind the move. It was almost to well played. He was willing it bet the girl knew that she was dealing with wolf men. The warrior however, was were Dyami was focused on. He wanted to know were the other wolf was. He knew there was two by the scents. The scents were oddly close together, in a way that suggested the wolves were related by more then pack-hood. Perhaps brothers even.
The idea that they were close made Dyami's mind realize something else. The scents were close! Not in how they smelled but as in where they were coming from. As if the other wolf was near the warrior Dyami was watching approach now. It both annoyed and disturbed Dyami that he was unable to find this other wolf. It spoke of danger and trouble. As they grew closer, Dyami's shoulders brooded and he stood up taller, in ways that let them know he was not going to back away. When they were close enough that it would not look odd for them to speak to each other, Dyami noticed that the other wolf scent had grown closer still.

Leah watched the wold man from slightly around Seth's arm as she walked slightly behind him. She thought about pretending to stumble or trip but decided not to. While she wanted him thinking she was human was not about the look like the dumb damsel Bella was as a human. How embarrassing! Leah wondered how long the tribe up here had, had a pack. How many are their and where were they? Most importantly, how soon could she get Seth out of here and run tell Jake?
Leah also hoped the wolf guy would not pick any scents of leeches on them. While did not smell any, she knew that there might be some scent left on them that her and Seth had just grown used to. She hoped not, that would turn this into a fight real quick. Just because Sam and Jake's packs agreed not to hunt Cullen-Leech did not mean this pack would honor it. Leah wondered if they should lead a trail out of town heading away from La Push to confuses the pack here. . . . wait . . . . why was she trying to protect the Cullens?! But she knew. Ness. Ness and Jake.
Leah would let Seth do the talking, even if she out ranked him. It was the appearance needed to keep everyone thinking she was just a human bystander.

He was nearly there now, and something new occured to him. Should he introduce Leah as his sister? Something told him this wouldn't be the wisest of actions. He really wasn't going to introduce her as his girlfriend, she would be his friend. Friends were common in market places. He might already know she was a wolf though, what with her wolf scent. Maybe he was trying to see where it was coming from, refusing to believe a girl could be a wolf. Seth snorted quietly under his breath. Leah was the best wolf he knew. He neatly side-stepped round the last of the fussy shoppers and got close to the other wolf for the first time. He was tall, taller than Seth and bulky. If it did come to a fight, the other wolf would hold the advantage. But then again, Seth held the advantage of numbers. That would help. "Hi," He said brightly to the wolf. There was no point in being dull. Best get it off to a good start, even if it wasn't a good finish. "I'm Seth and this is my..Uh..friend, Leah." He'd nearly stumbled there. That would have been the first accident. He smiled at the wolf, trying to cover up.

Dyami didn't spare a glance at the friend, as he was more concerned with the wolves then the humans. Besides, with the girl standing so close to the boy, she almost smelled less human. He was rather glad the stranger seemed friendly. It made him wonder if the other wolf was hiding as a back up plan. Maybe if things eased off, they were revile them selves? The stranger at lest appeared honest in his friendly greeting. "I am called Dyami." He spoke in his deep almost monotone voice.
After a moment of watching Seth closely, Dyami-slowly-offered his hand, so he could shake the boy's hand in a slightly more formal and friendly greeting. "These lands are under the protection of me and my brothers." Dyami told him, not meaning it as a threat or warning-though with Dyami's deep alpha voice it could be hard to tell. He meant it more as a way to let Seth know that, Dyami was in charge here. "What brings you this way?"

Leah was more then slightly annoyed at how the idiot male wolf didn't spare her a glance. Moron. He just assumed she wasn't a threat because she was girl. Sexist moron! Leah almost wanted it to turn into a fight just so she could shock the living ell out of him when she phases and bit into him. However there was Seth and she wasn't going to start anything that could get him hurt. Even to prove to a sexist moron that he should learn to not judge a book by it's cover. She could be the most deadly thing in the world, and he wasn't even going to look over at her! Jerk. Leah was officially not a fan of Dyami. "Free country." Leah muttered under her breath at his question, pretending to be human and thinking he would not hear.

That was interesting. Seth had no idea that a whole wolf pack guarded the Makah Reservation. They should tell Sam. Seth would bet a lot that Sam would be very interested in that. "Nice to meet you Dyami, I guard the La Push reservation in the south under our Alph-...Leader." If Leah was human, she wouldn't know any wolf terms. He had better keep to the usual words. "We were out doing some shopping actually. A nice day out," Seth said cautiously. Their trip was entirely innocent, but Seth didn't want to give this Dyami any reason to blow things out of proportion. He felt Leah shift by his leg and almost contained a grin. He was glad that he wasn't currently sharing her mind, Dyami wasn't paying two hoots of attention to her. It would be hilarious if she phased right in front of him. Then she muttered under her breath about it being a free country and Seth's grin broke free. Trust Leah. "So, where's your pack?" Asked Seth. Might as well get a run of the ground. Nice to bring tasty titbits of information back to Sam.
