Seth was running around the perimeter that the had to watch as a werewolf when he smelt perfume. He pulled over to the nearest bush and morphed back. Once fully morphed he changed into his clothes that he left tied around his ankle. As soon as he had everything pulled on, he jumped back into the road and started jogging. Acting like he had been doing this all morning.
After jogging for a couple minutes, the smell of perfume faded. He was about to go morph back when a girl came walking up the road. He instantly knew who she was. Her picture was faded into Embry's mind and every time he morphed, that would be the first thing he thought of. Whether he would be able to handle being mad and not turning into a werewolf around her. Of course she already knew. He had pretty much told her everything when they had met, right.
Seth decided that even if she did or didn't know about the pack he would still be nice to her and not give anything away. Unless she started talking about the werewolves. "Hey, what's up?" Was all he said. He would say his name later. After he made sure that this was the right girl.

Touring was not one the funnest things to do when moving to a new town. Especially when the town happened to be small. Charlotte noticed the stares, whispering, and pointing when she would merely walk through town. It was not something was used to, as she had not moved before now. She could feel her pocket buzz, and pulled out her old Sidekick. She had had it for over two years, and did not want a new phone. She read the message with a sigh. Quickly, she snapped a picture of where she was and sent it with the words 'Ehh, whatever!'
The next time it buzzed, Lottie just ignored it. She could hear her stomach growl gently, but ignored it. She was not in the mood to eat, especially since her house was back in Forks and she did not feel likegoing to a resturant. She let the wind blow her hair, and she realized she was going to have to re-dye it soon. It was starting to grow out a medium shade of brown, her natural color. It would be so much easier if she just learned to do it herself, and probably save her a few extra bucks.
"Hey, what's up?" Char jumped at the voice, her feet barely coming off of the ground. She had not seen anyone coming, but here was a tall boy with russet skin standing in front of her. She did not blush, which was a huge relief. She had not learned to hide her embarrassment completely, but she could conceal most of it fairly well. "Oh, hi! Nothing much, what about you?" The enthusiam in her voice was undeniable. She was a naturally bubbly person, one thing she did love about herself. Sometimes, she was a little too bubbly. She didn't care.

Seth saw the way she jumped when he had said 'Hey, what's up.' He chuckled lightly to himself. Yup, this was the girl that Embry always thought about. But, he was still unsure of whether she knew about the werewolf pack. So, he was going to watch what he said. It was hard enough to explain it to Annabell. He didn't want to repeat what had happened or what he had said to her.
"Oh, nothing much. It's just one of the good days in La Push, so I thought I would take a run/jog." He looked at her. Embry was a lucky guy. He had picked a nice looking girl to be his imprintee. Not like he would date her or anything she seemed to not be really familiar or fit in. Plus, with Annabell being his true love he couldn't think of dating anyone else at the time.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked. Then as he remembered that he still hadn't introduced himself he stuck out his hand and said, "Oh, and I'm Seth." He waited for her to shake his hand before bringing it back down to his side.

Nice day? Lottie held back her laughter by biting her lip. They obviously had different definitins of those two words. In Texas this was similar to winter, not summer. If she was in Texas, the sun would be boiling down on everything and she would be walking around Town Square with a fraction of her huge amount of friends. She had chosen the wrong time of year to move here, since it was summer and she did not know many. She fit in with every type of crowd there was beside emo, much to her liking.
"I see. To me this is like winter, but I can under stand what you mean." Charlotte was not sure if that was a lie or not. She saw the sense in people considering this a nice day, but she would probably take a while to consider it a nice day. She chuckled very softly under her breath at that. She ran her naturally tanned fingers through her darkening hair. At home the sun had helped keep it a nice blond longer, she had a feeling she would not be as lucky hear. It would be a gift to see the sun.
"I'm Charlotte, but I go by Lottie." She shook his hand, surprised by it's warmth. That was the second person with russet skin and abnormally warm skin she had met so far, and she had moved in less than two weeks ago. She felt her pocket buzz for a second time, ignoring it once again. She thought about sending Scarlett, who she knew it was with outb a doubt, a death threat. She knew there would he no use of it, as most likely she would reply with a face of some sort to it.

Seth looked at her pocket as he heard the phone vibrate. Being a wolf meant that he had abnormal hearing. It helped sometimes. Hoping that she didn't see him looking at her pocket, he looked back at her. Seth walked a couple feet and sat down at a bench. "So, your new here. Right?" He waited for some sort of answer. Once he got it he looked up. "Where you from?" He asked.
As he waited for her reply, his phone started beeping like crazy. He pulled out his blackberry storm and put it on silent. "I could've sworn that I put it on silent." He said. His phone was weird sometimes. He would turn it off and if he touched it even the slightest, it would turn back on. Same with the sound. It really got irritating sometimes. Especially in class.
"You know Paul right?" He asked. He knew her answer would be yes but he wanted to make sure. Then remembering a question that was always in Paul's head, he was going to veer away from anything about werewolves or the Quiluete legends. He awaited his answer and just put on his goofy lopsided smile.

Ahh, the question Charlotte had been dreading. She had asked it plenty of times, but never been asked it. She nodded. "Yeah." She answered with a nod. "Keller, Texas. It's a few miles north of the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex." What could she say? She knew the state of Texas like the back side of her hand. She was honest with that saying. She knew it had no freckles, and a scar on the palm from jumping up from being sneaked up on when she had a knife that she had been using to cut vegetables.
More slowly, Lottie followed him but remained standing. She glanced at his blackberry, remembering how both her parents had one. They had wanted to get her one, but she had firmly refused it. She was attached to her phone completely. Her naturally tabbed fingers twisted in her purple scar's fringe, a common thing to wear in Texas in the winter. Not so much the summer. Her outfit right now was just unheard of at this season where she was from. Especially since her black blouse had long sleeves, and her dark jeans were covering up some knee high boots.
Paul? Charlotte did not know a Paul, up here at least. There had been a kid two tears younger than her constantly flirting with her names Paul, but no one up here. "Nope," she murmured, popping on the 'p.' In fact, the only other guy up here besides the movers she had met was Embry. He hadn't walked up to her, she had quite literally walked straight into him. She probably should pay much more attention in life, but she got distracted fairly easily. One of the things she disliked about her personality.

Paul, Oh carp I said the wrong name. "Sorry about that. I meant Embry. I always get them confused. They act so much like brothers." He chuckled at how he had once again switched their names around. He looked up at her and for the first time noticed what she was wearing. For being fairly new here. She didn't know how to dress in this weather. Even though he was a wolf and could stand the cold, he still wore jeans to fit in and not be stared at. he should know. Plus, his mom had told him that if he wore what he used to wear people wouldn't be thinking stuff that they shouldn't.
Once she answered, he knew it was her. "So, has Embry told you any of the legends around here?" Once he said this he knew he shouldn't of had. Once she wouls answer then he would switch the subject to get her mind off of that fact. He added, "You want to sit down, I won't bite." He said while laughing. She looked a little nervous and Emvry would kill him if he wan't nice to her.

An Embry she did know. Charlotte had never heard the name before back in Texas, and she had heard a huge variety of names from Reuben to La Jaun. Texas had so many people from so many countries, but she had still never heard the name until know. She nodded. "Yup. I know Embry." That was true. She knew him, and already had a crush forming on him despite the fact she barely knew him. She knew she fell for guys hard, probably too hard for her own good. Oh well, she could not seem to help it all too much.
Legends? Embry had not told Lottie about legends up here before. She didn't even know there were legends up here. But then again, most Indian tribes had to have legends, she guessed. She was aware that La Push was an Indian reservation. As far as she knew, there weren't any near by in Texas from what she had scene. "No, he hasn't told me about any legends." She chuckled at his statement. "I prefer to stand." She merely said with a shrug. It was true, she could not sit for too long.

"Okay, I am usually so active that at least I can get a little break and relax. for as long as I get to. So, what ae you doing here? Not to be mean or anything. But, like why did you move here." He asked. he was normally just a curious person. That's how he had found his imprintee. He had followed her on a rainy day to a point where he would normally sit and howl.
Today was one of the best days of La Push. Though the sun was hiding behind the clouds, it was fairly nice out. It hadn't been like this for awhile now. Lately, it had just poured and poured. After a couple of minutes of sitting down n the bench, his legs got numb and he had to get it. He hated this feeling. After she told him his answer. He thought for a second. He really didn't know what else to ask her. truthfully, he wanted someone to ask him questions for once.

Why did Charlotte chose to live out here? It was truly a difficult question for her to answer. She was not precisely sure how to answer that question. There was always college, but she could have lived in Seattle for that. Then again, the big city was not her place. She always loved it, but had avoided it. She had heard so many stories of girls her age being raped in big cities like Seattle, and her friends had teased her about being to pretty for her own good. That was not a good feeling for her to live there.
"That's a good question. I'm going to college in Seattle to major in Physics, and do not want to be locked up in the dorms for nine months straight so I decided to get a house somewhere nearby. I came across Forks, found a house at a good price, and was all set up." Charlotte explained. She realized she had rambled a little bit, but didn't think mum of it. She knew she was much too talkative, and her parents had joked about when she couldn't talk where the 'good ol' days'. She could understand that.

Seth shook his head. He could understand that. Plus, there had been some vampire attacks recently there. Though, he was thinking that she didn't know that. "Yeah. That's true. Plus, at least there is a beach nearby and you don't have to drive like an hour to get there." He looked around and yet still no one was out doing anything. He found this oddly strange. Usually people were out at this time of day. Or, his pack or Sam's pack were doing their perimeter's. But, while he was a wolf he had come across no one. Apart from, Lottie.
"So, what are you doing out here in the woods right now? I havn't seen or heard any one else." He looked at her. She didn't look like she was used to being outdoors. Or, out of the city.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - That was true, a beach was nice. "That's true, but I didn't really think about it. I lived a few hours away from the coast, so it didn't come across my mind too much." Charlotte said. Her home was not all too close to the Gulf of Mexico, but when she went down there it was fun. Well, except for when she got sunburned. She hated being sunburned, it took most of the fun out of being at the beach or trying to get a tan. The tan had been a success for her, luckily.
With a glance around the woods, Lottie realized he was right. She hadn't seen or heard anyone else out here today, and she had been out here for a while. She shrugged slightly. "I don't know. I've always enjoyed the outdoors, despite the fact I probably look like I'm from New York or something." She said. She could actually be a tomboy, despite her weakness to girliness with shoes. That was when she totally forgot about the outdoors.

Seth started walking, hoping she would follow. It wasn't like he liked her or anything, it was just the fact that she was really nice and he wanted to go to the beach for awhile. While the weather was sorta nice. "So, have you been to the beach around here?" He asked. It really was a nice beach. The waves were good for surfing, though he didn't surf. Plus, there was hardly any seaweed. Even though he was a wolf, he still hated things. Seaweed, was on the top of his 'Things I Hate' list that he kept in his head.
He continued to walk. Then he saw the light. There was only a couple feet in between him and the beach and nothing could stop him now.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Charlotte followed him without hesitation. Which was a flaw of hers. She could always be way to trustworthy of near strangers, but then again he did know Embry. That meant something, right? She hoped it did. Heck, this guy could be leading her to her death and she might still follow. But he didn't really seem like the kind of guy who would do that. But then again, he did appear out of nowhere like he was following her.
Shaking the thoughts away, Lottie listened to what he had to say. "No, I haven't been the beach since I was a sophmore. But even then, I was literally being dragged along because it was a fundraiser." She could remember too clearly. Her school knew she was, well, an amazing singer. They had dragged her into doing a concert infront of the town. Naturally, she murdered them later.

Seth ran the rest of the short distance until he hit the water. He quickly took off his shirt and jumped in. Coming back to the surface and beach a couple seconds later. He loved the water and not just because he was a dog. Before he had even transformed he had loved it. He sprawled out on the beach once Lottie caught up to him.
"So, is this nice or what?" Right where he was laying there was no one for a mile or two. It was quite and not full of rowdy little kids. Plus, hearing the sound of the wave crashing on the shore really helped keep him calm. Which was always good because this was somewhere he could come and cool off if he was mad or ticked about something. Before getting to angry.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Char's flip flops were not always ideal for running, but living in the blistering heat of Texas and always seeming to wear bikinis (or in her case, tankinis) and flip flops, she'd gotten used to it. That didn't mean she was necessarily fast in them, at least not as fast in shoes that supported her when she ran. She jogged lightly after him, not wanting to be completely slow compared to him. Being slow wasn't something she was a major fan of.
'So, is this nice or what?' Charlotte gave a nod. It was nice to go to the beach and not have your skin almost seeming to boil off of your shoulders because of the intense heat. It almost felt a little odd and off to her, but she hardly put any thought into it being so different. "Yup. It's different, a lot different, but in a good way." It was almost like Forks, though Forks was a little worse than it appeared here. Then again, she couldn't be sure. This was the first time she'd been to La Push.

Seth laughed asd Charlotte talked about how nice it was here. It waws really quite nice here. But, there were those days when you felt as if the day couldn't get any worse. Especially, when there where new wolves and vamps popping up like crazy. But, Seth loved this place. "So, has Paul told you any of the scary stories?" Seth said, raising his voice a little on the scary stories part. He was hoping that Embry would show up soon. Seth really wanted to talk to him. He hadn't seen Embry or heard him for a couple days and he was starting to get worried.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 'So, has Embry told you any of the scary stories?' Just the two words 'scary stories' nearly made Char squirm. Her friends just loved to tell her a bunch of terrifying tales, and she was apparently a 'wimp' with that kind of stuff. It got rather irksome at times, and she'd end up just putting in iPod headphones or finding some type of way to block them out. She didn't like scary stories all too much, and she had probably heard too many that she wanted to.
"Thank God, no! I've heard way too many for one life time." Call her a wimp! Charlotte honestly wouldn't care if she was a wimp with that kind of stuff, but she was pretty dang strong for someone who appeared as fragile as she was. She was a little faint hearted though, though she hadn't reached the point of passing out. She surely would be way too embarrassed, and probably hide under a rock for a month or so. Where she was from, gossip was major.

Seth laughed when Lottie said this. He thought it was the funniest thing in the world. How much fun Embry was gonna have telling her about the werewolves and vampires. Seth turned to look at the water to stop him from laughing a little bit. Though a little tiny chuckle came out. He had stopped. Seth turned back to look at Lottie. "What are you scared of those types of stories or what?' He asked not at all sounding mean about it. He was being serious about this thing, though a smile was playing on his lips.
Seth turned to hear something in the bushes behind him near the woods. Noticing it was just a little bird, he turned back to Lottie. "So, have you met anyone besides me and Embry? It seems like someone like you would meet a lot of people in one day." He turned to sit down on the shore and let the water his feet. How cold the water was, felt really good on his hot body.
