------ ---Rosalie was driving. It was the speed she loved, as well as how her car drew eyes to her. She liked for humans to look. To envy her and her looks. It was on reason she picked a red car. She was not like Edward and his Volvo. She did not intend to blend in and be in the background. Rose was born, and made, to stand out.
---Alice was in the passenger seat. On any normal day, Alice would have asked for the chance to shop. Rosalie would have gone, willing, but not as enthusiastic as Alice. (Could anyone be THAT happy but Alice who was happy all the time?) Not this time, this time Rosalie had asked Alice to go with her, knowing Alice would never turn down the change to go shopping. Rosalie was just trying to get out of the house.
---The good news, was it was a cloudy day, and looks like it would pour rain any moment. Which was bad, unless you needed to avoid the sun. They were going to Seattle. It was a good day to go to the city, and with Rose's driving, they were making good time.

Alice was in the passengers seat of Rose's car as they speed down the road to Seattle. She was more than pleased Rose wanted to go shopping with her, usually she had to ask. Glancing up to the sky, Alice watched as the clouds seemingly stayed with them as they went. Nothing seemed to change about them. Weird.
The girl's vacant, normal grin was planted squarely on her face, a reflection of her always happy mood. Well. Almost always happy. Alice reached for the radio, putting it on a pop station. Swaying her head side to side to match the tempo, she found it hard. It was too slow for her. Sighing, the pixie-like girl changed it again to a random station. Glancing at Rosalie, she said, "Know any good stations?" She was getting impatient with this thing.

------ ---Rosalie took a curve at speeds that a human could not, and it barely caused there stone bodies to sway with the movement. "Press FM 2. That will give you Emmett's favorite stations." Rosalie said seeming to understand what Alice wanted. Something to match her mood and dance to.
---They were not to far from the city, about ten more minutes of hard driving, then they would be forced to slow and move around humans. Which was fine to Rosalie, since they had just moved to Forks, and not everyone was used to seeing her yet. She caused happily married men to stop and stare as she passed by them.
---Rosalie remembered the werewolves from when they were here the first time. So far there was no sign, smell or other wise that they were still around. Still, Carlisle told them no to go near La Push at all for no reason. So Rosalie had taken them the longer way to the city to shop. "I need to get Emmett some new shirts. There is good bear hunting not to far away. He always manages to ruin at lest one shirt, while hunting."

A wider smile spread across the pale short girl's face as she pressed the button and found a good station. Emmett had better tastes than she thought! After a while, they began to approach a heavily human populated area, and Rose was forced to slow down.
Giggling at Emmett's style of hunting, Alice replyed "Yes. Bears must be particularly hard since he likes to take them head on!" As the scene played in her head, Alice was forced to giggle again. He always found reason to show off his strength, or at least thats what it looked like.
"So where should we look first?!" Alice's voice was beyond enthusiastic. Not to mention she was bound to buy everyone else clothes. She didn't like it when they all wore the same clothes more than once, it got to be boring.

------ ---"Edward says, it's because Emmett never got over that first bear long ago." Rosalie's voice was teasing but she still remembered the to clear image of Emmett laying there. Bloody and broken and about to become a bear's snack. His face had reminded her of Henry's and she had reacted. Fought for something she had not know at the time.
---Trying to keep her mood as happy as Alice's Rosalie smiled and looked around at the stores they were slowly driving by. With this speed Rose would see inside the windows and see the layout of each store, and half the sale signs, and still drive better then a human. "Not sure. Maybe we should start at one end of town, and work our way down to the other. Oh! I have to get Esme that day dress, when we get back to this store." Rosalie pointed and keep driving.

"I know, but he's got enough bears to make up for that one now!" Alice meant no insult by this, or to bring up bad memories, mearly trying to make a joke and leave it at that. Nodding as Rosalie suggested the farther stores first, Alice said, "Sure, sure!"
Swinging her feet absentmindedly in the car, Alice looked straight ahead. "Hey, shouldn't we get some school supplies while we're here? We'll have to join Forks High soon." They didn't have to, but their age implies they should. Besides, what better way to make friends?!!

------ ---In the Cullen house it was a given fact that the reason they did not fake home schooling or something was, for Rosalie and Alice. Alice loved the people, and Rosalie loved the show of being the most beautiful girl. Ever. So the Cullen males, went to school and played along for them. While some days they liked it and some days it was harder on them, in the end, it was fun.
---"Yes, we should get supplies." To Rosalie's mind that was formfitting jeans, new jackets, and sweaters. Pretty shoes, and hair clips. Maybe a stylish bag and a few frilly pens. It wasn't the stressful human version of having to get enough supplies so they could taken enough notes and worrying about fitting in.
---"Is Jasper going to go get our paper work from his contact? I think we still have a week or two to register." Jasper was the one that went and got paper work for the family. He made sure they had believe able papers, that would make them legally whatever age they were passing off as.

Partially smiling at Rosalie, Alice didn't need her sight to know what she would end up getting. She fought back a giggle at this. Finally, the two reached the edge of the shopping center of Seattle. "Oh! Let's stop here." Alice breathed, excitement still shining brightly in her voice. The shop she pointed to was a shop clearly fill with female clothes; shirts, jeans, capris, shoes, etc.
Absentmindedly, Alice responded to Rose's earlier question. "Yes. Should be soon. We do only have a few weeks don't we?" Her voice was not shocked, more like zoned out. As she regained her place, she nodded more confidently. Should be soon.

------ ---It was only by years of knowing her that Rosalie knew that face. It meant Alice was looking into the future. Seeing things. "How many hearts will break over me?" Rosalie teased her, and pretended she was a magic 8 ball. If you shook her up, she could answer an question.
---However, unlike a magic 8 ball, Alice could shake you up right back. Rosalie smiled at the thought of anyone trying to use Alice like that. Pulling over to the side of the road, Rosalie parallel parked perfectly. She then reached in the back and pulled her purse out.
---Today, Rosalie wore jeans in a dark hue of blue that was still bright and new looking, a thin white blouse, with a vest over it. Her dark jacket, made her eyes, (that were honey colored today) stand out more. Her long flowing blond hair was left to frame her face. Lastly her shoes were three inch heels, made to help her be closer to Emmett's height. It made her much taller then Alice, but Rose liked to stand out.

Alice usually felt short compared to most, but Rose's impossible tallness today made her feel like a 10 year old. "Haha. Very funny." answered Alice in amusment. Her family relied on her future sight much more than necessary. Pulling a random number out of her heard, the short girl said, "Hundreds." Alice rolled her eyes, a playful smile still on her face.
Getting out of the car, Alice was revieled to be wearing tight, almost white jeans and a long silky blue shirt that stretched barely past her waist, and barely past her finger-tips. The girl's hair was black with a redish tint to it, which did nothing for her golden eyes that barely showed out in the cloudy day.
Speeding up a little past human walking pace to get into the store with an eager smile spread far across her face, Alice grabbed Rosalie's hand and pulled her with her. Once inside the store, she released her sister, and raced to the back of the small room, careful to keep her speed.

------ ---Rosalie laughed when Alice pulled her along. She knew Alice loved to shop and that was why she picked Alice to go with her. While the Cullens did not play favorites they had sort of paired off. Emmett and Jasper were always doing guy things and betting, Edward and Alice were closer friends, Rosalie and Esme were closer. Carlisle was the only one who managed to not have a 'favorite'. Still, even if Esme and Rosalie were the best of friends, Rose and Alice were close. They agreed on fashion and shopping.
---Rosalie was more of a showy shopper, then one to just pick up clothes. She put on a display with out even to seem to realize it. She moved slowly even for a human and looked over clothes as if they were not pretty enough to grace her body. She liked soft, and beautiful things.

Slowly, Alice began to rake through the circles of clothes, pulling off a shirt every once in a while, then putting it back. Even though she bought tons of clothes all the time, it took her forever to find something she liked. "Hey Rose. What do you think of this?" Pulling off the rack a long sleeved blue/violet shirt that sort of opened at the wrists, and showed the shoulders slightly. It looked soft from a distance, and in reality, it was. Not as soft as shirts could be made, but either way, it didn't matter. Alice seemed to like it, but was unsure. Glancing to her left, she spotted and acknowledged the dressing rooms. She would go try it on after she got Rosalie's opinion.

------ ---Most times, the girls tended to shop for things by brand name first, however they were trying to make their first day a bit less startling for the humans. So shopping in this town was for the show. Hearing Alice's voice, Rosalie turned her head and looked over. "It could pass." She walked over slowly as if she needed a better look. She didn't.
---"I think it would look cute on you." As cute as a rag could, but Alice had a way of bring out the best in things so Alice just might be able to pull it off. "What do you think about it?"

Alice frowned, tilting her head side to side constantly, observing the piece of clothing in question. She could hear what she thought to be sarcasim in Rosalie's voice, but she couldn't be sure. "I think it'd be something nice to wear around the house. Nothing big though." Rosalie's voice rung in her ear again and again. ' ... Cute on you'. She hadn't really meant that, Alice could tell.
Sighing faintly, Alice replaced the shirt back on the rack. She could wait until they got to the bigger stores before going crazy over every little thing she liked. Turning to Rosalie, Alice asked, "You find anything mildly interesting?"
