.:Nick Name:. Just Fern
.:Age:. 17

.:Look:. Fern has the deep, tan skin that nearly all Indians do. Her eyes are a dark shade of brown, and are placed slightly too close together. She has a slightly round face that holds hints of her childhood, though her dark, flowing hair usually falls in her face. She is an average height and weight for someone of her age, and slender as well. She is very modest with the way she dresses, and a bit tomboyish as well.
.:Height:. 5'4”
.:Portrayed by:. Q'orianka Kilcher

.:Basic Personality:. Fern looks rather sweet, shy, and innocent and that is basically who she is. She is genuinely a kind person to others, but will get annoyed at herself when she messes up. She tends to be a bit of a perfectionist for most things. It is not necessarily that she has to act like a perfect child for all of the time, but that she just feels a yearning for whatever she does to not mess up. She sets expectations for herself too high, and for others too low.
Though, Fern does not interact with many people. She is typically a shy girl, and a bit of a nerd at that. Since she is not considered popular she usually has lots of extra time, she will spend the majority of it working hard on homework or other school related things. She gets frustrated with this easily, seeing as when she can not figure something out on her own she mentally will beat down on herself. She does not like having to ask for help from others, and would much rather just do things herself. Even if it is not necessarily the best way to go with it.
As far as innocence goes, Fern is compared to most of today's girls her age. She tries not to break the rules as hard as she can, and often will eat herself out with guilt. Because of this she has never been among the best of liars, and has difficulty with it. She only will by choice if it is absolutely necessary for someone's happiness (well, someone she loves), even if it still eats her out with guilt.

.:Birthplace & Date:. October 10th, La Push
.:Family:.
- Robin Seebach – Father
- Dalia Seebach - Mother
.:History:. Fern Marilyn Seebach was born on October 10th, on the La Push reservation. She was the first and only born to Robin and Dalia Seebach, seeing as they had not wanted or planned for kids originally. They only kept her because they did not believe in neither abortion or adoption, but were just much more careful with what they did in the future at night. Though, the result of having a child caused Robin to have to get a second job as well to be able to better support the three of them.
At the age of nine years, she and her mother where in a violent car crash. Fern was not killed, and got out of it with luckily only a broken arm. Her mother did not have her luck. The doctor's said that she would be fine after a few days, she had just had a major amount of blood loss. They were wrong, unfortunately. Three days after the bloody car accident, her mother passed away in the hospital. Her father and she were devastated at the loss of Dalia, and couldn't stand it.
Not being able to stay in La Push much longer, Fern's father was transferred across the country to South Carolina. Her father acted as if a great weight had been lifted off of his shoulders, though it did not improve her sadness. The tragedy turned her to turn away from the public, and become a bit anti-social. It also turned her extremely kind and sympathetic, trying to follow her mother's footsteps the best she can. She helped others more than she helped herself with things, and forced herself into her studies.
This went on for seven years, when her father finally quit with the facade. He got himself transferred back to Washington, and returned to the La Push reservation. He surprised her with it as an early birthday present, claiming that he had known she wanted to return all along. She had wanted to return, and was actually rather grateful to return home. They moved back to their old house in mid-September, but even now that she is home she has mainly remained locked up in her room studying.
