Ambrose decided to take a trip up to Alaska. Kate had told her that's where she was last. If Ambrose had been a human she would have been freezing with her roof off and driving a good hundred-fifty miles per hour. She had vamped her jeep so it went faster. Ambrose had come to realize that all the vampires she had met treasured speed. When she pulled into the Alaska wilderness Ambrose slowed down and was glad she had put snow tires on her jeep. She stopped and quickly put her roof on to draw less attraction and pulled on a jacket even though she didn't need it.
Finally after two hours of searching Ambrose found a cabin that didn't smell of human, nor did it smell of that awful stentch she found in Forks. Ambrose parked her jeep and hopped out, her feet moving so fast that her feet didn't have time to sink into the newly fallen snow. By the time she reached the front door her jeans and leather boots were as dry as when she put them on that morning. Ambrose took a breath for a moment then knocked on the door. She prayed to the Great Spirit that this was Kate's house and that she was still here. [/color][/blockquote] |

It was fairly early in the morning, and though Kate never sleeps, being a vampire will do that to ya, she still have a morning and a nigh routine. Though it did not take a lot of time for Kate to look good, she still made a great effort to make herself beautiful! So that's currently what she was doing. She had just gotten out of the shower, her hair freshly washed, and lying lighting in curls, which reached her mid back. Her long blonde hair was just perfect. Even with out it being touched. it would dry all the same. Kate had run her hair brush through her hair, taking great care to get all the note out of her soft smooth hair. Kate had not yet gotten dressed, but that was next, after hair. Their really was no need for makeup, she was already one of the most beautiful people in the world... then again what Vampire was not beautiful? She has yet to find one! A hour passed and Kate was in her room getting dressed into one of her many yellow outfits. Yellow was her color after all. IT brought out her eyes, and hair for that matter. She just looked best in Yellow, and you better believe that's the only color she wore. (well besides special occasions, that's when she would mix it up, keep people on their toes.) She had slipped on a pair of dark skinny jean's with a bight yellow tube top. It showed most of her toned flat stomach, but that's how she liked it. Yellow high healed shoes were slipped on to match. She never left the house with anything but heals on, she was short after all.
As soon as her morning routine was finished, and she looked just as hot as ever, something caught her attention. A car... coming up close to her cottage?! No human ever came up here, Just like the Cullen's her home was not that easy to find. Someone had to be looking for her to be able to find her. It's not like they were looking for her siblings, seeing as this was Katrina's home, her second home really. Her main home was down the way where her sister's all lived. It's like a family house, then surrounding it were everyone individual home. So someone came here to see her? Odd. Kate straighten out her outfit thinking it was some random nomad vampire here to talk, and she wanted to make a good impression. Kate was often visited by nomads. Her sent was all over the town, and well her sent was really the only one here at this home. Why would a vampire go to a house were many vampires lived? when they could be safer by talking with just the one? Kate's house pretty much stuck out, so most people checked here first. And well it was much closer to the main road then the rest of her family. Her home was hidden yes, but if you were looking you could not miss it! She did get a few humans here every now and again trying to sell her something and what not, but she liked it that way. She sure did love those human males. Oh yes she did!
Just as she herd a knock on the door, Kate was there within the second. She took a breath and pulled open the door. Who could it be? It took her a moment maybe two or even three before she realized just who was at her door. As soon as she realized her old friend was here, Katrina let out a high pitched scream like thing, as she opened her arms and crushed Ambrose into a tight hug. "OH MY GOSH!!! ROSE!" She squealed during the hug. "What brings you to town?!" Kate added as she let Rose go. "This is such a lovely surprise! come in come in!" Kate added as she well pulled Rose into her home, closing the door shut as she did so. Kate was like in shock! She always loved surprises, and when someone came to see her whom she has not seen in a while, Kate get excited! Kate's just a happy person, and even if she did not know you all that well, or if she never met you before in her life, the greeting was basically the same. Kate's just like a child! So what would you expect?!?
Kate jumped around a little, just on cloud nine that Ambrose had really come to find her. Last time she saw Ambrose, Kate was talking to her about the Vegetarian diet. Kate was sad to part with Ambrose, but that's part of life.. Though Kate made SURE to give Ambrose her address, or well directions to her home. Most nomads she meets never come back to see her. She really did not know why. It might have something to do with living forever, and 10 years is like a day for a human. Maybe that's why?! Ah well she was just happy to have her here! Truth be told, Her one and only love Garrett had to leave her for a few days, something about one of his old friends in trouble or something, Kate did not ask questions. Seeing as they talked on the phone like 24/7 it did not bother her all too much that he was gone. It's just she missed him. She was... well lonely. Her sister's and their loves were hunting and doing other private things, so she was left alone in her home. So to have a visitor, what a GREAT time! Ambrose really could NOT have come at a better time! In fact it was probably best she came when she did, for if Garrett was here, the door would not have been answered. Rose started laughing as soon as she saw Kate squeal. Rose couldn't remember the last time that she laughed this much. Well she could, the last time she had seen Kate. Rose's life had been a bit down lately but she knew that Kate could bring her out of it. Even if only for a short while. When Kate pulled her inside Rose grinned, [/color] "I'm fine. Could be much better Kate but what can I do now?" Rose walked inside and looked at her friends houe, "Well Kate, wow. This might be a good enough reason to settle down somewhere." She stuffed her hands in her pockets, aware that there were twigs and leaves in her hair.
Ambrose had never known a home that she actually wanted to be in after her tepee. She had lived in her jeep for most of her life, which was fine but, man, as she looked around she wished she had a house that much more. Finally she looked back at Kate, "So, how're things for you? Do you have a lover?" She wiggled her eyebrows teasingly. The last time she had talked to Kate it had been just her sister's and her. Ambrose looked around for a moment before cautiously sitting on one of the chairs.[/blockquote] |

Kate listen for a moment, her energy still all crazy, and what not but she still listened. So she could have been better? Aww that makes Kate sad... she would HAVE to fix that! Which should not be too hard. "haha, its nothing, just a little something I build... when you live forever you get bored! And you rack up a lotta money... if you work for it!" Katrina said once more bouncing off the walls. "Now cheer up! No sad faces allowed in here!" Kartina said staying still long enough to push the edge of her mouth up so she smiled. Okay so she tried to, when you have a moth made of stone, you can't really do that... but she would try, hopefully Rose got the hint. "AH! OMG!" Kate screamed when Rose said something about a lover. "I totally forgot about him... i totally have a mate... his name is Garrett and he's totally hot!" Kate spilled. "He just... ah..." Kate said getting that much more excited and jumpy. "He is just the best person in the world... he is trying to change his diet for me... just for me!! I love him soo much!" Katrina spilled. Just going on and on and on about how great this guy was.... only stopping for a breath so she could speak.She just hammered on for what seemed like FOREVER, but it was really just a few minutes. Rose sat back and listened to her old friend talk. She leaned back in the chair she was sitting in slightly and started pulling the leaves and twigs out of her hair for something to do with her hands. She was smiling softly, Rose was happy for her friend. She was glad she had someone to love but sadly it just reminded Rose of what she once had. What she probably would never have again. Eh, but that was life, you lived you loved you lost you died. Only... Rose wouldn't die.
She had dealt with the pain of losing the two men that she had loved, one to her maker and the other to his human mind. Rose knew that she didn't deserve anyone, she was a monster, but she would never show this side to her friend. On the outside she had looked interested as she tried to detangle her hair with her fingers and laughed at the right moments when her friend was speaking. Once Kate had finally run out of things to say about Garrett at the moment, Rose quickly spoke up, "Well Kate, sounds like you have the perfect life. Fantastic lover, a house to just the two of you, live in the wilderness so no one will bang on your door for being too loud with him," she grinned lewdly, almost teasingly at her friend, "you're life is a fairy tale compared to mine. "Oh Rose I do... I really do!" Kate said with a small sigh, taking a moment to think upon how lucky she was, and she was very lucky. Lucky to even live this long, almost, though not nearly as long, as Aro. She was lucky, and she knew it, but so was Rose.... she may not know it, but she was, she would find her fairy tail ending. Katrina believed that with all her heart. "Anyway!" Katrina said as she helped picking whatnot outta Rose's hair. "Why don't you go clean yourself up a little. I think we are about the same size.... you can try on anything you like, and keep it if you wish..." Katrina said as stood up, offering her hand to Rose to take. Just a nice thing to do. Katrina was gonna show Rose around the home, hoping that Rose would feel more at home, even hoping she may stay a couple days or so... maybe she could meet Garrett? Maybe. He said he would be gone a while, but she was not so sure what the while meant. She knew he would come back, he always did. He always would!
