Ambrose parked her jeep in the middle of the clearing and stood up on her seat. Her roof was in the back with her bags that she usually carried around. Ambrose's hair blew in the wind as the clouds over head rumbled with thunder. Her red eyes scanned the area before deciding that she would spend the night here. She looked around and saw the large pine trees blowing in the wind. Quickly Ambrose flopped back down on her seat and pulled her jeep over to the far end of the clearing.
As soon as she parked her jeep Ambrose hopped out and quickly put the roof back on her jeep, hoping that for all the pain she took in carrying around both her soft and hard roof would pay off one of these days. Once she put the roof on Ambrose explored the clearing and knew that she would need something to eat soon. So she quickly covered her jeep in branches and started hunting. After finally catching a cougar she went back to her camp. Normally Ambrose would have spent the time to find herself a human but there were days where she was willing to go vegan, just not all the time. Silently Ambrose ran back to her jeep only to stop thirty feet away when she saw someone standing next to it.

Emily was driving back home after a visit with Bella when she saw a car on the side of the road. On closer inspection she found it to be a Jeep and it was covered in branches. Had someone gotten into a car accident and hit a tree? Emily felt her heart race a little. She wasn't stupid people pretended to have accidents all the time just to end up hurting the person who tries to help them. That was people, Emily was well aware of the other things that existed and they were even scarier than the most evil of humans. Mostly because Emily couldn't really defend herself against vampires or even the rouge shape shifter. She pulled up behind the Jeep, the lights of her Bug on high beam, she wanted to see as much of the area as possible. She rolled down the window a little bit and took a deep breath, there wasn't their smell of gasoline and nothing was leaking from the Jeep so she figured it wasn't going to burst into flame. She stepped out carefully, slowly, measuring each breath. She was just about to look into the drivers side window, when someone stepped out of the woods. It was fairly dark but by the profile Emily could tell it was a woman. "Hello I'm Emily, are you alright?" She asked turning to face her.

Leah had turned back into a human in effort to ignore Seth. She loved the loser to death but sometimes she rather be all doom and gloom and not the eternal happy go lucky guy that he was. She had been walking home when she picked up an a faint sent.
Leech. An unknown one. . . . .blood. Not human.
Leah followed, staying human for the moment, until she saw a jeep. Smelled horrible. Some leech had been in it. Great. Just want she needed, something to to cause her to turn into a wolf and talk to Seth again. Leah was on the other side of the road and hidden in the woods, watching for when the leech would approach, when 'someone' else stopped to investigate. EMILY! Damn it! What the hell!
One would think Emily out of all people would know the dangers of helping strangers but Leah knew how Emily was ---- AHHH!
Leah bolted, when the leech came into view. NO! She ran as fast as she could (And Leah Clearwater was damn fast) and came to halt in front of Emily. Sort of. Leah's halt happened more quickly as she hit the side of the jeep in her hurry, leaving a faint dent in it, a human would have bounced off, the jeep was the one to rock back when Leah hit it.
"Who are you!" Leah called to the leech while keeping her body between Emily and the new comer. Leah didn't take her eyes off the leech but she did move her hand behind her to see about where Emily was.
Sam was going to freak out.

Judge me all you want, just keep the verdict to yourself.Ambrose stopped as she heard the woman speak. She didn't smell anything other than human, thank the Great Spirit she had just taken her fill of blood. Just as she opened her mouth to answer she smelt a foul stench on the air and saw a young woman run into her jeep. She clenched her fists and ground her teeth together, "Do you," her words were halting as she stepped closer to her jeep, "know how much that jeep cost?" She wasn't facing either of the women as she looked at the dent in her jeep.
In all the years that she had owned the jeep she had yet to get one single dent in it. Ambrose muttered to herself as she crawled under the carriage and hit the jeep with just the right strength to get the dent out. As she slid back out from under her jeep she stood, dusting her jeans off, "Do you possibly think that, you at least could just back away from the car a bit please? I would like to be able to sleep and drive in it comfortably without that stench." True, turning her back on someone who smelled that bad was a bad thing, a death wish even but oh well. Ever since Ambrose had been changed she had always thought that she should have died. The only time that she had thought she was worth living was when she fell in love with Liwanu. Emily covered her mouth with both hands and let out a soft scream. Leah had just barreled into the side of the jeep and left a freaking huge dent in it. She put herself between Emily and this new person. This new person was a vampire. Her thoughts were spinning wildly out of control. First she wondered if Leah was okay, it's not like Emily had been around for her to see Leah hit heavy objects at such a speed before. Although Emily knew she was stronger now that she was a wolf she couldn't help her flash back to when Leah was just a human, Emily's almost sister, and the damage hitting the car at that speed would have done to her then. She knew that this other person was a vampire and that Leah had jumped in front of Emily to protect her? What the hell was going on? Leah hated her, wasn't death by vampire the perfect punishment for all she'd put her through. Emily was extremely grateful though it wasn't like she could protect herself against a vampire. When Leah held her hand back, Emily hesitated and then took it. She couldn't help it, she had silent tears running down her face. Leah cared about her. She cared if she lived or died and Emily didn't feel like she deserved that. Holding her hand was so familiar and yet it was so much warmer than it used to be. She didn't dare begin to hope that Leah was beginning to forgive her at all. Sam entered her mind next. She was dead. He was going to kill her if she survived this. Then her thoughts went to the vampire. Emily still had no idea who she was, but the vampire was insanely pissed off about her Jeep being dented. Emily tried to pull Leah away when the vampire got a little too close for comfort. Until Emily knew this vampire, she had to be treated as a threat. Emily silently begged Leah to follow her away a little bit, the last thing she wanted was a fight. If the two of them fought then Leah might get hurt and it would be all Emily's fault. She'd be beside herself with guilt. Now Emily could see her face, the face of the vampire woman. It was starling, she looked like them. She had beautiful caramel colored skin and a nice shaped face but her eyes made Emily freeze. They were not the eyes of a vegetarian vampire. Emily knew that Leah had realized this long ago and cursed her slow human abilities. She did not want to be a liability. She took care of people and it was strange having someone take care of her, especially since that someone was Leah. Why was this vampire woman facing away from Leah? Didn't she realize how much of a threat Leah was? Emily hoped that Leah didn't think that the woman was trying to show she wasn't afraid of her and react in anger. Emily fought to stay calm and opened her mouth to speak. No words came out. She took a deep breath and tried again. "There is a large coven of vampires here that only drink from animals and they don't want anyone hunting in there area," Emily began her mouth going dry but her voice was strong. "Right now your on their land." She commented She didn't want to anger the vampire woman she was just stating the facts of things around here. They had a delicate balance and although Emily could do very little, she was going to do all she could to keep the balance how it was, peaceful.

As the vampire moved closer Leah used her body to force Emily back away from the jeep. Damn leech! If it came closer again then Leah was just going to rip it's head off. Even if Emily was watching.
Leah opened her mouth to reply but Emily seemed to beat her. Leah could have killed her. Give away all their aces in their pockets! Why not just tell her to avoid the woods! The leech was evil, and once they left Forks, they were fair game! (The thready forbid her from attacking any vampire on CULLEN ground, unless they attacked first). Emily was just to nice, no military thoughts of keeping your weapons hidden. It was maddening!
Which was the only reason this was not turning into a fight right now. Leah's hands and arms shook, as she fought not to phase. "I know your kind don't sleep." Leah bit out, "I am going to stand here until the human gets away. Then I suggest you get out of the area!" Or die. "Head west." Leah said a bit less angrily. West would take the vampire to La Push. . . and their death by the huge pack of teenage wolves Sam called his brothers. Leah didn't feel any guilt over sending something already dead to it's burning grave.

Ambrose looked at the human and cocked her head curiously, "I know. They're the reason I've come here. Besides... miss," she had hesitated, she was about to call her human, but with the other... woman's temper Ambrose didn't want to push it, "you're a bit late. I've already been told by a friend that this is vegan country. I had my.... meal, in Seattle."
Ambrose pulled herself up onto her jeep roof. As soon as she sat down she didn't move, because she knew the other woman's temper and control would snap. When she spoke Ambrose looked at her curiously. "Why would I want to go West little native? I would end up in the ocean, at the very least. No, I'm heading North eventually." Ambrose didn't mention her need for going North, they had no need to know why she was heading North.

Emily stumbled a little when Leah pushed her back. She was sure Leah was regretting trying to help her already, she had fighting skills, taught to her by Sam but they were almost useless if she had to fight this stranger. Emily was feeling a little pissed. What was with this human crap? She felt like a walking piece of meat. A weak little helpless bunny among lions. She hated it. West? West brought her to La Push. So Leah wanted her dead. It was a little stunning to see Leah like this, angry and malevolent toward a stranger but like Emily was just a human to the vampire, the vampire was just another vampire to Leah. She calmed a little as she saw how hard it was for Leah to keep from phasing. She stepped the tiniest bit closer to her and wrapped her fingers around her elbow, slowly so as not to startle her although Em was sure Leah sensed the movement behind her. She hoped that her doing so wasn't pushing things but she was afraid that Leah would break the treaty and all Hell would break lose. "Leah why don't you come with me." Emily responded a little of her disease coloring her tone. She knew Leah wouldn't go but either would she with out her. There was no way she was letting Leah get hurt for her sake. When the vampire addressed her she frowned, so she'd eaten some other poor human before coming here. Yeah that made her feel ten times better. Not. Emily refused to answer that but notably jumped when the vampire so suddenly made her way up onto the roof of her Jeep. It pissed her off that she was actually quite scared of this vampire, and that she had just shown both the vampire and Leah that she was afraid. Emily couldn't help glaring when the vampire called Leah 'little Native' She didn't want a fight to ensue and this vampire was saying exactly the right things to start a fight, little and cute things like that were not going to sit well with Leah Clearwater.

Leah was going to K=I=L=L the Cullens. Starting with Jasper, when she saw them next. Their 'friends' just keep popping up and ruining everyone's day! First with the Vampire army, then the vampire royalty, and the red headed leech, and now this---Leah growled a low growl deep with in her chest when one detail was pointed out in her mind. All three of them were natives. The vampire, before they got bit, dead and leech-like had been native.
Some town out there, didn't have their own protectors.
Leah didn't pity her. Leah was all for putting her out of her sick vampire un-dead life however. When Emily latched on to her arm, Leah misread the actions and thought Emily was afraid of the vampire. Which only made her arms shake as well as her hands. Emily should know better then to get this close! When Emily jumped as the vampire climbed up on her jeep, Leah let out another low growl. If they keep this up, treaty or no treaty, Leah was attacking the leech. "I don't care were you go, as long as you eventually is with in the next ten seconds!" She said, avoiding the question on what was west.If the leech didn't know about the wolves who protected the town, Leah wasn't breaking the news.

The second Leah began to shake Emily dropped her hands but didn't back away from her. She was afraid that touching her would make things worse and she was right, it obviously was having the opposite effect then the one she wanted. She wasn't ignorant to Leah's ability, but she also found little self interest at the moment. Leah growled and that made Emily step things up a little. The only way that she could see this stopping was to try and be the peace keeper between the two. If things stayed as they were they were going to get really bad quickly. The vampire asked if Leah was territorial. Oh crap. Emily had no idea how to calm her down either. Touching her sure wasn't helping things. Emily was very protective of the ones she loved and although she could do little in this situation but use her people skills to keep Leah safe, she was going to give it her all. Emily wasn't expecting the vampire to turn her attention back onto her. She held her head high and made eye contact with the woman. When she began to talk about the scars, and how she thought Emily was beautiful she was so shocked she almost fell over. Those were the last words Emily thought would come out of her mouth, out of anyones mouth but Sam's. She was no longer holding onto Leah, which she was grateful for because when she lost her balance for a moment, she hoped Leah didn't see. She tilted her head to the side and her hair fell across her chest like a black satin curtain. A warrior? Emily? The thought was laughable. She had no skills at war craft, she could barely be mean to others. Her scars had been a product of her standing to close when she should have backed away. She had been showing Sam that she loved him, that she wasn't afraid of him even as a wolf. They were a forever reminder that she should be. Beautiful? Once she'd been, when her face was smooth like Leah's was now. She'd gotten used to the scars, that was true and sometimes she actually loved them. They made her who she was, but beautiful might have been a stretch. "Thank you." Emily said awkwardly as if she wasn't sure of how to answer such a statement, one she herself didn't believe. "You know my name, why are you going to see the Cullen's stranger?" Emily asked. She didn't want to sound too polite. In no way was this vampire her friend. Just because she said something nice did not mean she wasn't going to turn around and hurt Leah, and kill her. She knew Leah wasn't going to take conversing with a vampire well but Emily thought it was a good idea to know why she was there.

"Emily!?" Sam called as he tried to push open her front door. Locked. Hum.. that was odd! Emily's doors were never locked. "Em!?" Sam said getting a little worried as he ran to the back door, it too was locked, the windows even? Still nothing?! "EMILY!" Sam called getting a little nervous. She never left her home with out telling him where she was going! Sam was about to go patrolling La Push, but before he did he wanted to give his love a nice kiss. Their was a problem last night so he had to leave her. He just did not see her a lot this last few days, and he missed her. He wanted to be with Emily. He loved her, he wanted to be with her, but she was gone! Poof! So Sam with out even thinking, POOF! in his place stood a large black wolf. Where could she have gone?! Sam thought to himself as he smelt the air trying to find her, which was not hard. Her scent was all over this place, so off he ran following the strongest scent. She was alone, well that was not good. She could have ran into a vampire.... Well most vampires around here were ughh nice, but still he did not trust them!
So he ran through the forest, only now wishing he was Leah. For once in his life he wished he was Leah, the fastest wolf he has ever seen. She was twice as fast as he was. But he could not think about that, so he ran, just ran full out, He soon came across Leah's Scent. Speak of the devil! He thought as he pushed passed the trees never stopping, not stopping until he saw a vampire. There stood Leah TALKING to this red eyed vampire, and Emily, his love. Standing there NEXT to the blood sucker! HOW! WHAT He could KILL LEAH! how could she be standing there in human forum, while little Emily stood, frighten! But he knew he could not attack the blood sucker. She looked nice enough, she was not in attach mode, she was relaxed... sorta. But when the blood sucker began to talk to his love, that was it he lost it!
Bursting though the trees and running straight for the stupid blood sucker. She was NOT allow to talk to Emily. He did not care who this blood sucker was or why she was here! He WOULD NOT LET HER TALK TO EMILY! PERIOD! THAT WAS IT! With a low growl, one that came straight from the heart, he advanced, slower now, standing in front of Emily, and Leah too for that matter, his teeth showing to all, he was crouched low, but he would not attach unless she did first. He knew the rules. He knew he could do nothing unless she first made a move. Any move would do. Sam let out another growl snapping his jaw at her, but not getting very close. The smell was enough for him. He was trying to get his point across. Get away from them, and get AWAY NOW! She only had to back away, that would do for now. Due until he could get to the bottom of this. Until she backed away, he would snap and growl at her. She was a goner. It might be fun to take this blood sucker down. Even with Leah's help. It would be fun.
Sam shifted a little, so he was low, ready to attach at a moments notice! He was facing the blood sucker, head on, ready, ready for anything. Still Leah and Emily were still a little closer, his tail was practicably touching them. So Sam took a half a step forward, his tail stopped flicking back and forth in an aggressive way, His tail was still sticking back slightly, hoping that Leah would move Emily back, Move Emily away. Sam did not want Emily to have to see this. In fact, he just hoped to god that Emily was not frighten of him. Last time he was in wolf form around her, he gave her 'that battle scar' or whatever the blood sucker called it. He wanted so bad to look back at Emily, make her know it was alright, that he was here, that he would keep her safe, but he would not dare take his eyes off the blood sucker. You could never trust them EVER! they were fast too, not as fast as he was, but still fast.

((It's kewl, I actually have a q for you and Leah, I'll PM 'em to you))
Judge me all you want, just keep the verdict to yourself.Ambrose looked at the Wolf that had joined them. He was too big for a regular wolf, for a he he surely was. Ambrose could feel his tension, feel his anxiety rolling off of him in waves. Why she didn't know but it was there as surely as she had black hair and red eyes. She kept her eyes on the huge, black wolf. "I'm actually here to ask them directions. As good as my memory is it's a little fuzzy on directions that an old friend gave me." She continued to watch the wolf, he seemed ready to attack, as surely as the woman.
Finally Ambrose spoke to him, better talk and no response then be on the receiving end of his attack. As before the only muscles Ambrose had moved were her neck muscles and her muscles to be able to speak. "I really mean no harm to these women, to you, to anyone. I just," she grinned slightly at her own joke that surely no one else would get, "have bad taste for my meals. I am actually on my way North. I didn't mean to barge in on the open territory between you and the Cullens." She knew that if she didn't attack, or didn't even move all that much there'd be more of a chance that they'd walk away and leave her with a "serious warning" to stay away from them and leave soon. Leah had smelled Sam before he showed up. On any other day, the fact that she was with Sam and Emily would ruin her day. . . . No, wait this was going to ruin her day. Still, she might not be on Sam's pack, but she wasn't going to start disobey orders. (Even the ones given silently with out words).
When Sam showed, Leah turned to grab Emily's arm and half walk half drag her as the moved slowly around a wide half circle trying to get to Emily's bug. Leah knew it could turn into a fight, treaty or no treaty. The only thing keeping it solid is honor. It was like Alice would see this, they could kill the vampire, and no one would be wiser. The leech had said it's self, they were going to the Cullens. Not been there yet.
But Leah knew if they were caught, it would cause more trouble then they wanted. Jacob, her pack leader, sided with the cullens. And then, so did Leah.
Once they were to Emily's bug, Leah let her go and took a single step closer the the leech. With Sam on one side, and Leah on the other, they had it's closed in. "Get in your car." Leah said, in a demanding yet very quite voice, (not that everyone couldn't ear it anyway with their supper hearing), "drive home as fast as you can." Leave them to clean up whatever mess they made, or didn't make alone.

Emily struggled against Leah as she moved her to her Bug. When Leah told her to get in her car, Emily moved around it to the other side away from Leah's grasp. Leah told her to get in the car and drive away, Emily ignored her. She looked directly at the vampire and frowned. "I do not want a fight here either." Emily said her voice heavy with emotion. "I love them, can't you understand that? Haven't you ever loved someone enough to want to save them?" She begged for the vampire to understand to prove to Emily that she wasn't just something dead, that was alive again. That she had feelings. and could understand. "As for you two, stop it! She hasn't made a move to hurt us let her be!" Emily ordered knowing they wouldn't listen to her but angry enough to try all the same. Emily was NOT a damsel in distress needing to be rescued any longer, she was a negotiator of lives. It was not far to have two against one. Even if Emily had no feelings toward this vampire, she couldn't just let Leah and Sam rip her apart. Emily wasn't that type of person. Let Sam and Leah yell at her all they wanted. One of them was going to have to physically hurt her to make her go away and Emily knew Sam would never do that, even if it he thought it would save her life. Emily was NOT leaving.

Judge me all you want, just keep the verdict to yourself.Ambrose raised her hands in a surrender fashion. She hadn't started anything, she hadn't said anything that would start a fight and she hadn't made any rash movements. "I do believe that if it weren't for you little Native. I wouldn't be cornered, or so called cornered, by a wolf and a woman, whom I'm starting to believe is a wolf as well. Just call it a hunch. However," she licked her lips, put her arms down and leaned forward, "I did call my friend who I do believe called the Cullen's and told them I was to be expected."
Okay, so she hadn't called her friend, but they didn't need to know that and it was in fact the young woman's fault. If she hadn't shown up Rose would be in her car and listening to music right now. Practicing her guitar maybe. Rose wouldn't have to worry about trying to keep the peace, about being uncomfortable in not moving. Rose could've driven on to the Cullen's and the world would go 'round. Rose thought over the woman's question and looked towards the West. Maybe she should go West, her face had gone solemn, lost in thought as she thought of the loves she had and lost. Of how she lost them because of what she was. Rose smiled sadly as she looked down, "The only way I could've saved the ones I loved was by dying. I was the one endangering them. But that wasn't my fault." The last part she had said in a whisper. It was true, it wasn't her fault that she was what she was. [/blockquote]

Little WHAT?! No, no that was not Emily's name. That was not okay. She should not be aloud to THINK about Emily, his Emily, his love, his life! No he would not allow it, but he had to. So he did the only thing he could, he snapped at her, his teeth hitting together making a loud echoing sound, a growl so fierce ripped from his throat he was slighted suprised. He did not know he could sound soo.... vicious! But apparently when Emily was in danger, he could be. Good for him! He might take her out, if she spoke about Emily again. Sam was not sure he could take the stress. Though when this blood sucker leaned forward, Sam almost lost it! He got a lot lower attach position, his teeth showing full on, his eyes fixed on her cold red SICK ones. Just read to make a move at a moments notice. He was not a happy boy right now.
But what the blood sucker said next took Sam by suprised. What the?! Was this vampire CRAZY too?! What the heck!? Sam's position relaxed slightly, which was such a bad idea, but he was confessed... how? why? What?! Saved who? More blood suckers? Well if they died, so be it! Good! GREAT! Sam like that. Too bad for her but hey at least there were that much less leaches on the planet. That was a plus. Wait no... she had to become a vampire to save the once she loves? Pssh. PLEASE he would rather DIE then become one of them. Death would be better then that. Torture was better. He was just confused... She must be crazy. Shoot. Ah well, most vampires were, all the more reason to kill 'um. Who needs them anyway! (Besides Jacob, but that's a different story.) He took the chance to glance at Leah, speaking to her with his eyes... Just questions. WHAT THE HECK WAS THIS BLOOD SUCKER THINKING?! And was she crazy? and why was she here, besides the Cullen's and WHY THE HECK WAS EMILY (Of all the people in Forks... EMILY!) WHY DID EMILY have to be here?! His life? Leah could handle her own, but EMILY?! COME ON!
She was distracted... Maybe Sam could slip away with Emily on his back, but she would surly notice the massive wolf and Emily gone.... But still, he needed to protect her, get her safe. Still showing his teeth, he started to back away slowly. His eye's fixed on the crazy one. Hoping Leah knew what he was doing. He continued to back away getting closer and closer to Emily. Until he reached her car. He jumped on the hood to get over to Emily faster. He looked to his love, nothing but love and fear in his eyes. He used his nose to push her slightly, trying to tell her to get in the darn car and drive away.
((Oh SHOOT! I don't wanna redo my post completely... haha I must have missed the question Emily asked Rose... SORRY!! I really am... just forget all the crazy talk rose! haha and he still backed away and all that, just make the crazy talk POOF! haha lol THANKS!! <3 )) [/blockquote] ((OOC::All credit goes to Aro from MP for making my posting layout, Signature, and Avatar!. Emily didn't want to tell the vampire that her being here was probably the only thing keeping her alive. No wthat Sam and Leah were here and they both were angry, Emily had to stay to try and keep the treaty in place. She would leave, if Sam and Leah went with her. "I just came from the Cullen's miss- I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, and they would have never let me go if they knew you'd be out here. No offense." She added with a little shrug and a half smile. Emily looked up at the vampire, tears filling her eyes. "I'm sorry for you loss." She said, her voice a slight whisper. Emily had taken a step forward as if to go to the vampire. It was a natural reaction for Emily to want to comfort someone that was hurting. She would have gone all the way and hugged the vampire if Sam hadn't come closer to her and then touched her with his nose, pushing her back to her car. Emily placed both of her hands on the side of Sam's face next to his ears. "I'm not leaving." She said looking him in the eyes. He was going to kill her later but for now he couldn't say anything in wolf form. She was glad of this fact. She dropped her hands and moved toward Leah. Standing next to her she faced the vampire again. She hoped that Leah would just be like whatever, and let Emily be. Although she doubted she would. That was why she left Sam's side to be by Leah's. She had more of a chance at helping if she was here and Sam was probably going to do everything possible to get her to leave.
