Edward was not in the least in a good mood. Edward's ability allowed him to read everyone's thoughts who was within a few miles of him. There was not turning it off he always read the thoughts around. All aside from his love wife, Bella, but her ability now allowed him to know her thoughts if she so choose. It had always intrigued her she being the first person he could not read the thoughts of. But he loved her deeply and wouldn't want it any other way. And he knew for certain she loved him more than anyone else ever could just as Edward shared those feelings. It was not Bella's thoughts that were bothering him. It was Renesmee's thoughts about what she had been doing with Leah. Leah. Edward was furious with Leah how dare she take his daughter cliff diving. Without his permission. Without letting out letting either of them. Edward was aware how close Leah and Renesmee had become over time and this certainly was not something that pleased Edward in the slightest.
It simply wasn't the fact that Leah had taken Renesmee cliff diving, though this caused a great deal of anger. It was the fact that Leah had pulled his daughter into the water. He had read her thoughts he knew everything that had happen. And there was no way he was going to let Leah get away with this one. Edward had come to accept the shape-shifters they were apart of their life now. Edward knew Jacob, Leah, and Seth all helped them during a time when they needed them. When Bella had been pregnant with Renesmee when he had wanted his own daughter dead. It had almost killed Bella. He couldn't live without her this he knew for certain. Edward quickly changed his train of thought. While Leah had been helpful in the past and had come to accept Renesmee and even become close friends this was taking things to far. Edward had almost immediately called Leah. She had accepted to meet him in the baseball field.
Edward had made it to the filed within in a matter of seconds. Vampires were extremely fast and Edward happen to be the fastest of the Cullen's. It was easy to tell simply be Edward's posture and expression he was not in a good mood. He was very upset, even angry, with Leah and what she had done. Edward picked up the smell that could only be that of a shape-shifter. A smell Edward had grown accustom to but that did not mean he still liked it. It still smelled of dog and that was not something he would ever really like. Leah's thoughts came into focus as she came closer to the meeting point. The Cullen's were still not allowed to approach La Push because of the treaty. Though they had broken it, it had been to save Bella's life. Edward crossed his arms as he waited for Leah to meet him.

What did one wear to when going to her own hanging?
Leah laughed at her joke as she was dressing at her house. She knew WHY Eddie wanted to see her. She was more then sure that either cliff driving, or Sam's mouth had crossed Ness' mind just all to close to her annoy father. Which meant either she was going to be yelled at for risking Ness' life, or spilling the beans. Either way Leah wasn't looking forward to this.
Any normal day Leah would have promised to meet the leech and then not gone, thinking it would be dark funny to stand him up. However; Ness was not speaking to Leah and Leah wanted to fix that. They had become oddly, friends and for once Leah didn't plan on letting her history of sins ruin that! So Leah knew she had to go and talk to Eddie, he would had his say, she would mouth off and then once the air was clear (or one of them were dead) she would go about trying to get him to give her an idea on how to approach Ness.
Leah-dressed in jeans and a tee-walked to the meadow, not wanting to be in wolf form in case another Cullen was there as well. Last thing she needed was Eddie's bad translation skills working angst her. While she knew as well, that Ness would not be there, she was still disappointed when she walked into the meadow and saw it was only Eddie boy. Damn. Leah stopped on about 20 yards from him, knowing full well he would be able to hear her from there. "I've not been here since the last leech-on-leech war!" She said just trying to be annoying, referring to when the army of newborns came to kill Bella.

Edward was most displeased with Leah and he didn't even try to hide the fact. Leah should have known better than to take his daughter cliff diving. She should knot who protective he was over his daughter. They did not know just how strong she really was and it wasn't like Edward wanted to know the answer. He would rather her daughter remain safe protected and away from smelly wolves. Edward was aware Renesmee and Leah were good friends not something Edward entirely liked but he did not oppose this. For Jacob had imprinted on his daughter he liked the shape-shifters to an extent. He knew how easy they could lose control one reason Edward did not particular like Nessie being around them so often. He knew they were careful around her to not lose their control. That would be something he would not tolerate.
Edward narrowed his eyes at Leah's comment he knew it was meant to annoy him. That's all Leah did was annoy his family though she meant no harm. "As if I don't already know this." Edward had a perfect memory every detail still in place. Not that he particularly cared when the last time Leah was here nor not. He knew exactly what she was referring to and it merely annoyed him. Though this would not rid him of his current anger with Leah. He was immensely upset. "I am sure you are aware why you are here." His tone had a hint of anger in it and Edward wasn't even going to bother to try and hide how upset he really was with Leah. Leah should very well know why he called her to meet here. He did not let anyone make his daughter do what she did not want to do. She had been uncertain about cliff diving and for good reasons. Leah had pulled her in! That was not something Edward was about to tolerate.
Edward didn't give Leah much time to even reply before he began speaking once more anger evident in his tone. "You took my daughter cliff diving! Something she was uncertain about. It wouldn't have been as bad if she had willingly jumped in but no you had to pull her in." Edward was furious with this. Edward did not want Leah to be close to his daughter if she was going to force her to things she did not want. Edward didn't like Renesmee going cliff diving but if she had done so willingly Edward wouldn't be as angry. he would have been upset with both Leah and his daughter yes, but this was different. Leah had made Renesmee jump. "I will not allow you to even come close to my daughter again." Edward was angry his tone and posture explained that perfectly. Edward watched Leah and listen carefully to her thoughts. Edward would know if she was to come close to his daughter again he would forbid her from going to La Push if he had to. Leah was a bad influence and not someone he wanted with his daughter after what had just happen.

Leah was letting him get it out of his system. He ranted some and she didn't react to much. There had been a point in time when this conversation would not have happened because there had been no trust between the wolves and the leeches. Now, there was just enough trust. Leah trusted the leech not to try to kill her, and they in return did the same. That was about it. The trust didn't go much further then that, and this level had taken years to build. Leah still thought that they were unnatural and could snap and kill everyone at any moment.
The fun and games stopped at Eddie's words. Leah's hands begain to shake, and she glared at him! That smug little leech jerk thought he could be all controling again?! Didn't he learn anything when trying to control his leech girl friend? "I don't think you have the power to tell me who I can and who I can't talk to. Nor do you have the power to do so with Ness. She might be your kid now, but in a few years she will Jake wife." And he will have kissed both your girls! Leah thought in her head to annoy him.

Leah's thoughts were correct they had some trust but not completely. And Edward certainly did not trust Leah after what she had done. Renesmee had not wanted to go cliff yet Leah had forced her to anyways. It was not something Edward would allow. He did not want his daughter to do something against her will. Sure if she had wanted to jump Edward wouldn't be as furious as he was now. He wouldn't be as angry at Leah. He would have still been upset to be sure to endanger his daughter. However, Renesmee had been forced to jump off the cliff not something Edward would tolerate. He could quiet literally kill Leah. He was so very protective over his daughter he didn't want any harm to come to her. He wouldn't allow any harm to come to her. That is not something he would tolerate. He didn't want to find out just how strong she really was. No one would. Edward knew if the others knew they would be just as upset as Edward was.
Edward glared at Leah at her comment and her thoughts. "I don't think keeping Renesmee form you will be a problem." Edward would not allow his daughter neat Leah. Not if she would endanger her as she had done. "I realize she is refusing to even speak to you." Edward knew this he had read it within his own daughter's thoughts. And she had reason to not speak to Leah. He didn't want her to anyways. Perhaps he was angry perhaps he was taking things to far but he really did not care. Leah was a bad influence and making Leah do things she did not want to do. Edward did not know if any of the other wolves knew of Leah's little stunt yet or not. He suppose it did not matter. It wouldn't change just how upset he was with Leah. Edward wouldn't hurt Leah at least not yet.
"You endangered my daughter. We have no idea how strong she really is. And yet you don't even care. You risked harming her." Edward was far from calm and it showed in his voice. "It was bad enough that you actually took her cliff diving, Leah. She is still part human how are we to know if she could survived through that jump? It could have seriously harmed or even killed her." Edward didn't understand why Leah would risk Renesmee like that. Why she didn't think about how dangerous it could have been. What could have happen. Edward did not know if Jacob knew of this or how exactly he would react to something like this. Edward knew he was protective or Renesmee just as Edward was. But this was his beta and he may not see the danger in cliff diving just as Leah apparently had. Over the years Jacob and Edward had become good friends trusting each other more so than any other.
