Sulpicia stood on her toes as she looked for Aro. He said that he needed to talk to some people but he never came back. She really wanted to dance with him but he always ran off. She was starting to think that Aro didn't like her anymore. She sighed as she sat down, if she stood up a minute longer her toes would break. She didn't know why she wore the shoes she wore she just did and they were really uncomfortable. But she would do anything for Aro.

Sully sipped some of her red wine. She liked the taste and it made her feel better. She slipped off her shoes and rubbed her feet. She knew that her red wine wasn't red wine it was deer blood that Aro packaged for her. She placed her glass down and held her head up with her hand. She wasn't feeling to good and Aro wasn't around to make her feel better.

Aro had talked to several people at the ball and everyone seemed to having a good time, at least while he was around. Though there were some conversations he would have rather not had like with the half-breed she had upset him some. He had tried to acquire some useful skills that the Cullen's had. Young Alice, Edward, and Bella such additions they would bring to the guard. Aro wanted them badly and if wanted something he would get it. He would just have to wait and be patient that was the key. Now he could not force them to join he could not get Chelsea to mess with their loyalties but he would eventually. It was task, but would be well worth the work.

Aro made his way back to where he left Sulpicia he had said had to talk with a few people of course that took time. And he was plotting on gaining more power something that took most of his time anyways. He had to be careful about his thoughts with Edward around how convenient and yet inconvenient his talent could be. It would be wonderful to read from a distance!

Aro loved Sulpicia he really did, even if he craved power more he would always want her. She had been with him for a long time and it always made him happy to see her and to know she was his forever. "Sulpicia," Aro said as he approached her smiling as always. Aro put out his hand to take hers wanting to feel her touch. He would be able to read her thoughts yes, but he simply wanted to hold her hand for the comfort of it.

Sulpicia finished her third glass of the 'wine' and placed the glass back onto the table. She fixed her dress so it was straighter. She smiled and wove to people walking by. She was getting a little annoyed with the royalty. She wanted to be like Didyme. Didyme always wanted to run off with Marcus and leave the royalty so they could live happily. Sulpicia wanted that so badly but she knew that Aro would never go for it. She sighed and started rubbing her feet.

Sulpicia wished that she could go to sleep but she couldn't because she was a vampire and she didn't have to. She was annoyed about being a vampire, it did have it's problems. She tapped her fingers on the table waiting for someone to actually come and talk to her. She smiled and pushed some of her loose hair behind her ear.

She was surprised when she saw her husband walk over to her. She smiled brightly and said "Aro!" She squeezed his hand and stood up to give him a hug.

Aro read Sulpicia's most recent thoughts as she squeezed his hand. Aro smiled at Sulpicia happy to see her reaction to him coming over to her. They were about his sister. He had killed her to make Marcus stay with him. He was not going to have her run off with Marcus Aro wanted to keep his power. He would not have been able to have what he had without Marcus he was needed just as much as Caius was. Aro loved the attention, the control and power he had. He would never want to give it up. Even if that was what Sulpicia wanted he craved power to much even for her. He wanted power more than anything it was his first priority.

That didn't mean he didn't love Sulpicia he did with all he had. She was so much apart of his life. If she wasn't with him he knew he wouldn't be the same. He wanted her, but wanted power more. It was how everything had always been. Aro easily returned the embrace enjoying having her so close to him. "It seems I kept you waiting longer than expected," Aro said having read in her thoughts she was bored. He hadn't expected to be gone for so long, but he had to try and gain some of the talents he wanted. They declined his offer yet again, but he would get the Cullen's one day that was something he was sure of.
